i put pokemon card mystery packs on my etsy just now. just a stack of bulk from my year of collecting pokemon cards. i'll be turning in a bunch of bulk to the card shops, but I thought wouldnt it be fun to make my own mystery packs? i always loved goodie bags, grab bags, blind bags, and gacha. its a thrill of opening something and getting something unexpected more than the items themselves.

#full transparency there wont be any cards THAT rare in my mystery packs. just bulk some holos a neat button pin and a random figure #i bought a whole pack of pokemon figures and i've been giving them to my friends because theyre so funny #so the mystery pack will include those. also a hichew candy cause i like those and i have a lot haha #idk something for kids #this one card shop i go to has pokemon mystery boxes for 10-20 bucks that has cards and party goodies #so its kinda like that. a small treat to throw at a child. like WHAM merry birthday jimmy #each card is hand picked i didnt want to have too many cards from the same set in one pack. variety ya know #this other card shop i go to i get these mystery packs and theyre like all pokemon go and i got upset #i still buy those sets. speaking of i think ill pass by the shop today and sell a stack of bulk #i have...a lot of bulk my dude. i opened so many packs i gotta get some money back #i have cards rare enough to make all that money back but i wanna do it the fun way. with mystery packs and negotiation ahhha #so the cards are in rainbow order #i got a carpack for 6.99 at cvs of 10-15 cards. reselling. and i was like. this is lame but its a good lesson #also at target 30 cards also for 6.99 just as lame #mine will be better. mine is rainbow order with a toy and candy because i am better than grown men

The 999 cast is very important to me and there’s so much good about them but I think one big thing they have is that they’re all smart and contribute to the story

#zero escape #999 #this is where the other ze casts really lack I think #like all the 999 characters are there for a reason they were hand picked by zero #and all of them were really smart and they all worked together to solve the mystery #in vlr we got characters who just willingly participated in the game for shits and giggles #even more so with ztd like they didnt even try to make the q team important #plus just like so many of the characters are wasted and pointless #quark contributed nothing. alice was needed only for a math problem. tenmyouji was just screwed over #clover is the one who really makes me mad cuz they did the aini thing where they erased her whole arc #and reduced her to a ditzy joke of a character #shes not fucking ditzy shes smart and her bond with junpei is literally why everyone survived 999!#without her your ass would be dead #makes me so mad 😤#they only added her to vlr just to get people interested in the first place since she was popular #ztd is the same like none of the new characters introduced mean anything #and all the stuff they do with the old characters is just awful none of it is good #honestly 999 is too good of a game to be attracted to the other ze games #in my mind 999 ended and everyone lived happily ever after and idk quark can magically be there somehow cuz hes a good boy

I can't believe I still have to see posts about how much better ROP would be if Celebrían was the lead vs. Galadriel. As someone who has Tolkien Brainrot, I understand the appeal, I really, really do. As someone who has had to interact with so many people who either do not care about Tolkien Lore but are interested in fantasy television shows or are Jackson film fans first/foremost/only, y'all. Galadriel is a known character and a decent intro to lesser known characters.

Hate to break it to y'all but Celebrían is OBSCURE. I'm pretty confident in saying that if you get outside of Tolkien Fandom online circles, you could tell people that Elrond was married to Galadriel's daughter and the response you would get would be, "oh, I didn't realize that" because it's touched so lightly in the films. Celebrían isn't even MENTIONED by name. Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure if anyone mentions that Galadriel and Arwen are related at all!

My point is the show is meant to appeal to more people than us over here with Tolkien Brainrot!!!!!! I love Celebrían, but Galadriel was an easier sell to the potential of a wider audience as a lead. For a show that needs to go through so much lore very quickly, having Galadriel as the lead because she's 1) female [the overwhelming amount of male characters vs. female characters in the Legendarium is another post], 2) relatively familiar, and 3) has a set characterization to lead toward for an arc vs. her barely-even-mentioned-in-LotR daughter is a no-brainer.

Hmm well at least in the past decade, my big worldbuilding projects have mostly come down to three-ish stories: Other Side of the Gun, Adventures of Gæilo and Ethon, and Just Desserts

OSG was an Invader ZiM fancomic concept I started around 2013 to justify every single Irken headcanon I ever came up with lol - I never finished it, or even really started it, but I put a lot of time and energy into its roughs back in the day :)

One that you can see over here is all the work I did for my DnD campaign, AGE! (Though its sideblog hasn't been updated in a while haha - the AGE tag over here works just as well) I basically homebrewed a pantheon and had an absolute blast designing all the gods and their forms before they became gods and even things like architectural differences in their churches and the BBEG and his motivations and just ah <3 Such a fun project :D

It also laid the groundwork for things like Pokemon Homestyle, specifically all my papercrafts! You can really see how I leveled up haha

And my latest has been Just Desserts! Even with less time under its belt, it's still pretty expansive, as evidenced by my icon and theme and the backlog lol, and it's the one I have the most AUs of! (Though OSG does come close actually haha) There are still some thorny details I'm trying to iron out, especially to do with the magic system, but all the characters and creatures and the fact that I made my own fighting minigame, ah, pleased! I've never been so happy with a sona before Charm! ♥ From the very beginning it's been so fun to work on and I still want to improve!

#Long post #There have been others of course - things like BunBonBop and TMatM and quite a handful of original species lol #I was also involved in an IZRP that got very in depth which is where Bar comes from actually!#As well as my brief stint into being a TGWDLM askblog lol soz to everyone over there ouq #And little stories like Karera no Kotogara and Yanderapy but those mostly set in cartoon-reality y'know?#No magic or sci fi there haha #Man looking back through the OSG stuff kinda makes me wanna unstore Ch. 0 - I've grown a lot since then!#To the point where it almost doesn't feel ''mine'' anymore haha - it has been almost ten years! Maybe to celebrate its anniversary :)#Also yeah if you look hard enough I've been in love with and inspired by Vargas for as long as I've known about it haha #AGE was so much fun <3 I would like to get back to it someday but picking back up after so long is hard!#I still hold all of them fondly of course ♥ Mar especially since they were the tipping point for me loving spiders :D #It's hard to believe Just Desserts is already four years deep! It still feels so new to me haha #I know I big up Charm and her design a lot lol but for me it really is exactly what I want <3 It's my perfect :)#I still really want to get into 3D modeling to make her as I originally envisioned her!#If I had the funds I'd absolutely commission someone but tbh I don't know many names on that side of art haha #I've also heard about people who give advice/brainstorming sessions for magic systems and I've been intrigued ever since :0 #I'd love to sit down with someone and hash out Exactly how their magic works! It feels like it just needs a few more pushes!#Then again that's what I said about the TVAU outfits too haha ♪ Maybe it would all fall into place!#To the base question tho: I never know how to qualify ''implemented'' - does just putting it out there as a concept count?#Writing a story? Making a comic? A series? Polished? Completed?? Where's the line haha #I'm always so full of ideas but focusing on anything long enough to make it ''pretty'' is so hard for me still #I just keep creating never stopping haha

Today is my graduation ceremony from chef school and I am a bit anxious
