Mondstadt was a relatively safe place. Even on his most eventful patrols, he'd only have to deal with hilichurls or treasure hoarders. Thus, he'd been drastically unprepared when a fully armored samurai rushed him in the middle of a raging storm, his wicked blade and silhouette nearly twice Kaeya's height illuminated by flashes of lightning.

The enemy's strength rivaled even the most brutish lawachurls that wandered the plains of Mondstadt; Kaeya deflected his blows, but the sheer force behind each left him staggering. Bursts from Kaeya's Vision illuminated the darkness. The rain gave him an edge, but the samurai's strength kept them evenly matched until—

A vicious strike wrenched Kaeya's arms and made him cry out. His sword dropped into the mud, and the samurai bashed his shoulder into his chest. One stumble on the slicked ground was all it took for Kaeya to fall prone on his back. A streak of lightning glinted off the blade plunging towards him. His eye squeezed shut and he braced himself...

But no pain ever came. A sudden weight pressed down on him and forced the air from his chest in a rush. His eye shot open as he sputtered, staring in dazed shock up at the face of the stranger whose body covered his own. Rain dripped from long white hair onto Kaeya's cheeks.

"Wh—" He didn't know which of the dozen questions whirling in his mind would've escaped if it had the chance. Who are you? What are you doing here? Why would you do that for someone you don't even know? But none of those thoughts could fully form before the deadly glimmer of steel flashed over the stranger's shoulder.

He'd already been hurt for Kaeya's sake. Whoever he was, Kaeya would protect him in return.

"Keep your head down!" he shouted over the roar of the rain. Icy blue light spilled through the mud caked over his Vision. One hand delved into silvery locks to draw the other's head safely into the crook of his shoulder, while the other swept through the air, permafrost crackling on his fingertips.

Ice burst from his palm and froze the rain just above them, propelling the resulting spray of frigid needles into the samurai's face with the force of gunfire. Their attacker cried out and stumbled backward, and Kaeya wasted no time. He scrambled up onto his elbows, his grip on the other sliding down to his arm to help support him as he sat up.

"Hey—can you stand?" A concerned sapphire scrutinized the stranger's face, trying to gauge the severity of his injury. His voice was soft, but urgent. "This isn't over yet."

I feel like Osamu and you would would just have such good banter and conversation. From the day you guys met you just clicked and Osamu liked the fact you could keep up with his teasing. He grew up with a very loud brother so I feel like he wouldn’t care in fact he finds it adorable! hiii how's ur week been? sorry again for the late replies, rn i got end of year exams so I'm trying to be productive. it hasn't even been a week since i got it cut yet it's actually already grown like half an inch or smth!! i thought my hair took long to now but ig with the right haircut it grows faster, so rn my hair is layers that's mid-length and kinda wavy/curly at the bottom. cause it's been pretty long since i went on tumblr i saw that ur fav colour is lavender and so is mine! pt1 💫

pt2: either way i absolutely adore ur hair and how it's so straight! and we went to a city called Bath and lived in a house-hotel, it was really fun we went to the roman baths and it was really pretty and there was people dressed up as romans answering questions about the history and i remember when i was walking past they called me and were like "ur one of the prettiest romans I've ever seen" and they bowed to me and so did i, it was just cute shit 💫

pt3: at the house-hotel there were apple trees and fields and so we asked if we could pick like 2 apples and they said yh and they were so sweet and good, we sat in the fields for a while and we just went around the city, we only stayed there overnight for 1 day so it also doubled as a "day trip". and it had been long since i went on a "road trip" so it was fun driving there 💫

Since Tom is pretty much Peter anyways, I thought you two would be just as cute! Recognizing things are wrong and putting a huge amount of effort into fixing them is a super super admirable quality. I feel like tom would just completely fall in love with how passionate you are about social justice. He’d be so enamored by your nerdiness, he’d try to make you teach him cool stuff you learned but he’d lose you two sentences in, “Wait what? Can you go back? I don’t get it. Sounds cool though.” Obviously, he’d be super wary of Charles at first, and constantly try to get you to admit that you like your dog more. But eventually Tom would grow to love your cat “Charles and only Charles, NO OTHER CATS.” and I am all for an unlikely friendship between Charles and Tessa??? Anyways, you guys would be hella cute.

You helped each other into coats, hats, boots, mittens and scarfs until everyone had become properly bundled. You all waddled outside, where a blanket of snow covered the sky and more drifted down to join it.

“It’s so pretty!” Tom beamed.

“You’re pretty.” You smirked back at him.

“I know.” He said shortly before leaning in to kiss you.

“Ew.”

awh man nonny i know what you mean. i struggle w/ studying a lot and i’m a uni student haha. besides the typical tips you can find online, what i found is this app called forest (it’s on ios + android devices!!) to help me stay on task (whether it’s studying/chores). check out more information here. it’s been honestly helping me a lot + who doesn’t like plants??? 

I don't know who to tell this to and you seem really kind: I'm the pickiest eater I've ever met or heard of. It's just NO most food is disgusting it just makes me wanna barf. And everyone treats me like a 4-year-old child. Nothing cheers me up anymore. I think I have selective eating disorder and nobody understands :( People are being mean to me all the time because I don't like certain foods and maybe I AM just a 4-year-old child. I need help and comfort :( Because being a picky eater is hard.

Hi! I'm really sorry to bother you rn, but I just really, REALLY miss my dog who passed away several years ago. She was like my sister... I related to her more than people & I could always rely on her for comfort. All I want to do is just hug her again, but I know I can't do that. I just can't move on. I love her so much. I'm sorry, but I need to tell this to someone, ANYONE, because it's really been keeping me down lately...(dog death anon cont.) I've been seeing a therapist since she's died, and I've been on several medicines which DO help, but only to a certain degree. I realize there's a certain part that I, myself, need to control (ie moving on). but like I said, it's hard. I haven't told anyone this, because I'm afraid of looking stupid for letting my dog's death get to me this much that it's required hospitalizations and such. I just want to see her again. (end)

!!!!! asdf you’re never a bother nonny !! dont ever thing that alright? i’m always here for you ready to listen no matter what (i’m just a super slow replier so i apologize for that askdhf). but first thank you for coming to me + telling me about your personal problems - i honestly appreciate sm. i’m honestly so sorry nonny... i can relate to some extent because i got my dog when i was in gr 7 and he was my only friend who i can go to to feel love + comfort up since i’ve been bullied since elementary school & never really had friends. i can’t imagine what you’re going through .. i’m honestly so sorry. don’t think that you’re stupid at all okay? i’m the last person on the earth to ever think you are. i’m glad you’re seeking a therapist right now !! however, i 100% understand if it’s difficult to move on - cause it is!! my grandpa past away 10 years ago and he was one of my best friends and he was really the only “father figure-like” role model i look up to. till this day my heart aches thinking about my grandfather and how much i miss him. similarly, i would definitely feel the exact same way w/ my dog if he passed away because i treasure him sm. so don’t be too hard on yourself about moving on. i know it’s easier said than done but different people vary on how long they mourn for. some can be 100% okay in a couple months while others takes years - and that’s 100% okay! why? because we’re human. there’s no need to rush in “moving on” - take it in your own pace. i know the pressure / stigma of others thinking you’re “weird/stupid” for being like this state further creates anxiety/stress in “forcing” yourself to rapidly wanting to move on. however, i urge to try your best to ignore what others might think + focus on yourself to the best of your abilities. perhaps distract yourself in finding a new hobby / doing smt that you love or smt new. it takes time to recover - no matter how long you take, no one’s rushing you oke :+)? ill be here every step of the way if u ever need me. it’s okay to have those days where you tried so hard but u end up at point A because after you go through that hurdle, you’ll be closer to your goal. take as long as you need - baby steps nonny :+) i’m here rooting for you oke? i love you so much. you’re a strong sweetheart and i know you can do it.
