The Ken dance is so magnificent because it’s reminiscent of the Golden Age of Musicals when there would just be artful dance sequences for no reason other than the director wanted to have one.

i am SO fucking exhausted by mainstream media opinions lately and i don't understand why they're frequently SO different from my own? like i genuinely don't think i am approaching anything from that unique of a perspective as a viewer? maybe it's just that i'm too easy to please when it comes to stories or something but like. how is the mainstream, widely accepted consensus on yellowjackets season 2 is that it's "bad" and "doesn't work as a season" and is "riddled with problems." literally what the fuck are you talking about. this is the most fun i have had watching television uhhhhh literally Ever? you're telling me people hated Burial? how? why? like i don't...i just don't GET it. and i'm not playing dumb for kicks here im like genuinely honest to god confused. that was the single best episode of television I've ever watched in my life. like i get that people have different opinions about things and that's fine but HOW am i in the minority here what am i missing

I don't understand advent children haters because like what do you MEAN you don't want to watch a 2.5 hour film taking place after your favorite video game in which the main character is trying to live an ordinary life as a father in the middle of a sci-fi plague and he struggles with all the trauma from the game that went mostly unaddressed because they didn't have time to unpack their trauma in the game and there's cool fight scenes all leading to a sequence in which every playable character in the game appears to fight together and then they all must, literally and figuratively, uplift the protagonist so he is strong enough to defeat the obstacles before him
And the film details his struggles and culminates in the ending sequence where he smiles for the first time and is able to be at peace
"Nooo Cloud can't have be broody and emotional he's just supposed to be an asshole :(" me when I didn't pay attention to any of the game actually.

Anyway, have you guys seen the new TMNT trailer? It looks great
I grew up with the 2012 series and I've also seen a couple of clips from the 2018 series which looks great. I want to watch that before this movie comes out.
What I love about this trailer though is that they seem to be more like preteens. They act dorky and awkward and I love that. DXFXIXICICICGCI I just want to adopt them!! I can't wait to see more. And also Donnie looks adorable with glasses.
