She is the first Utauloid ever created and is the default voice of Utau.

Her VP (voice provider) 100% computer generated.

Her other name Defoko is derivative of the word Default.

She is friends with Teto Kasane and Momo Momone.

Although she is friends with Momo, she picks on her quite a bit (I have no idea on how they are still friends).

She has two siblings, a younger sister named Koe Utane and an older brother named Defosuke.

She shares a VP with Yukkuri (I think she's supposed to be a meme character).

Alright, so here’s the next Spotlight. This time it’s Defoko’s turn.

This is the only piece of official art I could find for her.

Info: Uta Utane is the default voicebank for the Utau software that comes with a fresh install of the program, thus her nickname, Defoko, which means Default Child. Despite this, she's also notoriously difficult to make good songs with since her creator used an artificial voice synthesizer program for her voicebank instead of a real person. She's essentially the UTAU software's overall mascot and a member of the "UTAU Trio" comprised of herself, Momo and Teto, the first three Utauloids ever released and the three most widely known Utauloids overall.

Her official profile describes her as cool and friendly but also something of a melancholic loner known for sometimes teasing/bullying Momo. She also has an older brother (only known as "Defosuke" and unlike Ted, he was made using the Male-2 voice of AquesTalk rather than being a Pitchloid), and a younger sister, Oto/Koe (who uses the AquesTalk Female-2 voice). Other than that, there isn't a whole lot of canon information available about her. Most fans tend to more or less stick with this characterization of her and she's most frequently depicted as part of a trio with Momo and Teto as already mentioned.

My Take: Defoko is the Responsible One since the Vip2ch crew needed someone like that, and is kuudere as described. Her voice is explained in-universe as being due to a defect in the template she was created from. That template is also the source of her nickname.  She has her siblings around too, though they probably won't actually show up on the blog.

That's honestly a really hard choice. I quite like Ferry, GHOST, Amitai, Kairiki Bear, Pinnochio-P, Deco 27, Utsu-P, the list goes on.... okay yeah I definitely can't choose a favourite shdijejsdkkejs

In general, I want Synthesizer V Pro, but Eleanor Forte AI and Kasane Teto AI are two that I especially want. Also, if I ever use Vocaloid, I'd like to use Fukase, Oliver, VFlower, or Megurine Luka. Vocaloid is probably never going to happen for me personally, though.

I use Utane Koe, Defota Itadaki, Defosuke, and technically, Eleanor Forte Lite, but I haven't used SynthV in a while. I'm planning on doing stuff with Kazehiki, Gekiyaku, and Defoko in the future, but I want to try to finish my current projects before starting any new ones.
