• Lute is diligent in all she does

• For the briefest, most minuscule of moments she thinks she has a grasp on sin. As innocent as it is, she’s not supposed to be helping you

• She won’t let you ruin her reputation

• She doesn’t dare let her fingertips linger on your feathers (no matter how loudly they sing to her)

• Lute acts as if you’ve burned her when she’s done

• “Thank—“ She’s already storming away, cheeks glowing red. From anger, embarrassment or other, you’ll not find out today, “—you.”

• Honestly, she wasn’t going to offer at first

• Vaggie would prefer to forget about her time in Heaven altogether and helping you with your wings proves triggering, though not so terrible she can’t

• Not when the need to help outweighs her guilt

• You look so damn pitiful!

• “Here, hold still,” Vaggie sighs softly as she approaches

• She waits for you to go relax and accept the offer hanging in the air before touching your wings

• Vaggie’s touch is sweet and hesitant, almost treating your feathers like you’re made of porcelain

• “You ok?” She asks as she twists her fingers around the hardened shell, breaking the pin feather

• You smile at her over your shoulder, “Yeah. You’re much better at this than me.”

• Vaggie breathes out a light laugh, “I’ve had more practice. It’s… easier with someone else too, I guess.”

• Significantly less nervous when she’s done

•Next time, she’ll definitely offer her assistance sooner

• He startles you, making you jump when you thought you were alone

• Husk, although he’ll deny it to his double death, made it his job to pay attention to people he cares about

• Watching you walk around uncomfortable, teetering the edge of all too familiar pain was hard to ignore

• “I know those things can be a real bitch.” He points with the bottle he’s holding

• “Are you trying to be sympathetic or stating a fact?”

• “I’ve been around the block a few times,” Husk shrugs, “And I might be offering my services if you need ‘em. Not just good for listening.”

• He almost regrets it when you immediately accept. He looks at his claws, tainted by alcohol and who knows what else, then your wings

• Washes his hands before. Which strikes you as odd because you’ve seen him use a dirty rag to clean glasses at the bar

• He might be qualified but surely you have someone more deserving willing to help you? Someome nicer, someone cleaner, someone better than him?

• Husk isn’t complaining! It’s just his inner thoughts making his hands tremble

• “I owe you a drink for this,” You say sweetly

• Husk hums out a laugh, “Nah. It’s my pleasure,”

Might do one last part of this idk what do you guys think?

VAGGIE:

She... can be a little closed off when it comes to affection. If you want her to be open to it you're going to have to ease her into it! She wasnt granted much softness during her time as an angel unfortunately.. given her whole.. soldier thing.. very cold and she sometimes stiffens when you go to hold her. She does get better over time, though!

LUCIFER:

Similar to vaggie, Lucifer is also cold due to him not living on earth, my brain has hooked on the idea that most heaven and hell born are cold. Hes a little awkward when giving or receiving affection at first, but as he gets used to you hes going to crave it! Gets giddy when you hold on to him, occasionally fans his wings out and wraps them around you to bring you even closer

HUSK:

He tries to pretend that he doesnt like it as much as he does.. but the fact that his feathers are fluffing up says otherwise... please ignore the purring as you scratch between his wings.. does not seek out your touch, though, so you're going to have to do most of the initiation... very vocal against you holding him in the presence of others... very soft and very warm, it's like holding a giant cat.. which is pretty much all he is..

ADAM:

Warm and soft, tall too. Oh he would trap you against him and keep you put when you need to let go and do something. Does this during cuddling too, by the way. He thinks its funny but you do sometimes get in trouble for being late. Similar to Lucifer he will wrap his wings around you. Hes fine with initiating it but just know he might be interested in something... more

Can I request something about the reader getting a chance for redemption, but she rejects heaven because all of her best friends, specifically Charlie and Vaggie, are in hell, and she sees them as her home and family?

Platonic Charlie and Vaggie x Reader who doesn't want to leave Hell

Managed to get up early to work on writing! Hooray! I still feel a little groggy, so I apologize for not being too chatty in my notes today... I hope you enjoy Anon!

There are... mixed reactions from everyone in the hotel, even more so when you explicitly say you want to stay for your friends and not because you think redemption is impossible. In fact, it's even more.. odd if you believe redeeming a soul is possible.

Charlie feels... conflicted. On one hand she's deeply touched that you care about her that much as a friend that you don't want to ascend to Heaven, but at the same time she thinks you don't deserve to be down here in Hell. She doesn't want you to feel like you're unwelcome, so it's doubtful that she will try to push for your redemption too hard outside of group activities. Many... many feelings in that one. You're probably going to make her cry, not in a sad way. In an emotionally raw way because she thinks the sentient is sweet, even if it tears her between her goals and her personal wants.

Vaggie on the other hand, takes it a lot better. She already knows how Heaven is due to her being a fallen exterminator, and she can't exactly blame you for not wanting to go... Even if you don't know what Heaven is actually like. On top of that Vaggie does not let you in on her origins, unless of course this takes place after her big reveal. She won't force you to do it, and really as long as you pull your weight around the hotel she's not going to be forcing you to do anything if Vaggie is ever put in charge. Of course this is assuming she doesn't believe you have a problem, considering she ropes the hotel staff in with the trust exercises in that episode. With the exception of Alastor, of course.

Hello, could i get some headcanons for the HH cast with a (Gender Neutral) reader who rips out the very last page in there book, and when asked why, they say: "I always rip out the last page in my books, because then it doesn't have to end. I hate endings."

HH Main 6 w/ Someone Who Hates Endings

Alastor

Finds this behavior almost admirable

After all, he was busy being a killer on earth and now he’s busy being a killer in hell

(Even if it’s like one or two a year but he’s gotta keep appearance and keep his power status)

He does similar with books but rather than ripping out the pages he sometimes like the speculate and make up his own ending, extended from what he read on the last page

Also makes your conversations with each other that much more entertaining

Alastor may ask you about the books you’ve read and ask what it was about

And of course he asks what the ending was about knowing you don’t know

Well the true ending at least, the written ending by the author, but loves to hear what you’ve got to say about it

May even start a mini book club with you where he finishes the ending, you don’t, and he sees how close you can get

Sometimes he broadcasts these ideas and speculations over the radio as well, he’s entertained by it all and he wants to share the entertainment

And like with his radio, he loves classics when it comes to reading

But also like with his radio, he’s into the murder aspect of it all so be prepared to read a lot of murder mysteries fiction or fact

Angel Dust

Thinks an odd behavior but doesn’t question it

It’s none of his business but also he has minor concerns you do this with all forms of paper media

Such as if you try to take his magazines, be it trashy reality or an adult shop catalog, he will likely start a fight

After awhile questions it, he got curious can you blame him?

He’ll go to sit somewhere and there’s like random pieces of paper around and none of it makes sense because it’s the end of the book

When he does finally get an answer he wanted, it’s not what he expected

He then asks what happens if the last page is only like a sentence or two like you’ve essentially read the end already and the idea of the end just minus a couple words

Ever since he finds more pages lying around…

Vaggie

Like Angel Dust didn’t really ask about it

It’s not her or Charlie’s property so it’s not like she could get mad, they were your own books, and to each their own she guesses

May pick up and read whatever is left behind from your reading wondering if it sounds familiar to her at all

But also like Angel Dust will eventually ask why you have this behavior

When she learns the truth finds it almost endearing

She knows about not wanting things to end, whenever insecurities get the best of her she has similar thoughts about her and Charlie

Or about them and this hotel

So in a way she understands, but her disconnect is real life experiences over reading fiction

If she does try to intervene in anyway, which she likely won’t, she may just take the book away from you before you can tear the page out

But again this very likely won’t happen

Unless she hears you talking about the book and wants to read it herself

And she would like to know the ending please

Charlie

Is troubled by this behavior at first

Wonders if something went wrong or that you were angry about something

But when she learned about your dislike for endings she only smiled and asked why you didn’t want to know

And expanded on similar ideas of Alastor as in making up an ending or extending the ending you just read

Also asks how these cliffhangers don’t bother you at all, in her opinion that’s worse

But she doesn’t try to directly stop your behavior, she’s never told you to quit it or anything if the such

But time to time she may come up with a different solution besides tearing out pages

From things as simple as closing the book and setting it down

Or something such as giving it to someone else to read so they can also experience the book with the ending if they’d like

May try to connect with you on the level of wasting papers and the trees

(I have no idea how paper is made in hell but I’m assuming tree)

Husk

Probably asks right away besides Alastor because he wants to know what the hell you’re doing

But when you tell him he’s the less likely to care

Remember, as of now, the only reason he’s around is because of Alastor otherwise he wouldn’t be here

What you said to him, your reasoning behind tearing the last page from books does stick with him

If he ever does find himself reading something and he closes the book as he finished it will pop in his head sometimes

Sometimes questions how your behavior would work as he reads something online

Do you just deleted or close the book on your phone or do you all put destroy the device?

Niffty

Niffty takes the longest to question the behavior

She’s an odd character with a few screws loose so the actual act doesn’t catch her attention

What does catch her attention is these loose pages lying around everywhere

With her craftiness and love of fanfic (as well as cleaning like that gets under her skin most) she’s more likely to collect the pages instead

Tries to put them together at first thinking it’s all one book

But when that doesn’t work that’s when her interest in fanfic and creativity spark

She writes her own story!

Finally asks who’s doing this so she can share her story with whomever helped her

When she learned it was you, both shared her story and asked about the behavior

(Quickly took away her fanfic upon learning the truth…)

Also offered the idea of creating your own ending

Also introduced you to writing and fanfiction too if you’re interested!

A/N: Hazbin brainrot has fully set in. I'm watching the first two eps tomorrow so there will be spoikers on my blog but they will be tagged.

Charlie is slightly kinky, open to trying things but has hard limits at rougher treatment. Probably could be into being told what to do since she doesn't use her own authority much. I also feel like she's really into lingerie, she wants to look and feel pretty and wouldn't want to take anything off unless she has to.

Alastor

Soft static crackles in his throat, neck tilting at an awkward angle. You sat on the front lobby sofa, turned away from him while covering your ears with your hands. He's never seen you like this before. "Are you alright, my dear?" When he receives no reply, his static increases. Why won't you look at him?

Kneeling in front of you, he's taken aback by your facial expression. A dreaded frown has replaced your beautiful smile, tears streaming down your cheeks, and you're absolutely trembling. What has happened? Has someone hurt you? Tell him who.

Alastor isn't quite sure what to do. He could usually say something nice to Charlie and she'd perk right up, but you aren't her. You're his darling, his sweet rose. And he hates seeing you unhappy. Lifting you into his arms, he dissolves into smoke and shadow to reappear in his tower. He places you down on the bed, wrapping a blanket around your shoulders. Clawed hands gently tug your own from your face, wiping away your tears.

"Tell me what I can do." Alastor whispers, a desperate twinge edged in his words. "I am here." He's gonna try his best to cheer you up. Playing some classical light jazz on his gramophone, humming and tapping his shoes. If you're lucky, he might even dance for you once you've calmed down.

Lucifer

Gentle hands cup your cheeks, thumbs soothing against your skin. He's breathing with you, encouraging you to follow his example. "Remember sweetheart, do the three three three rule." Lucifer whispers softly. "Tell me three objects, three sounds, and move three body parts." Your teary eyes wander his frame, touching his hands, his cheeks, and then finally his lips.

Kissing your fingertips softly, Lucifer never once ceased his gentle touches. A soft reminder that he's always close by.

Charlie

Oh, no! Oh no, no no! Okay! She knows what to do! Her Dad taught her how to do this when things felt too loud. Carefully, she cups your face making you meet her eyes. "What three objects do you see around your room, sweetie? Can you tell me?" Her voice is soft. Her warm body presses close to yours, her hand sliding down your arm to take your hand.

"Good, yes." She breathes. "Light, bed, and stuffed animals. Very good, honey." Charlie encourages gently, nuzzling your cheek with her nose. She pulls up your softest blanket around your shoulders and hugs you to her chest. When you've perked up a little, Vaggie is quick to suggest relaxation. "How about a nap, hmm?"

Vaggie

Carefully, she approached you from behind. Her hands, cold like ice, gently press to the back of your neck and begin to soothe and work any tight knots at the base of your neck and shoulders. She hums a soft tune, an old lullaby that was sung to her when she was little. It brought her comfort and she hoped its comfort would find you too.

"There you are, take it easy, love." Pressing a kiss to your temple, her hands comb through your hair. "I can run a bath, if you'd like? Might feel good." She wipes a stray tear from your eye, smiling as you squeeze her hands softly nodding. "Yeah? Alright, let's go, love."

Angel Dust

He knows that look well, he's seen it on his own face many times. Angel's first instinct is to bring you somewhere quieter and less populated. Crowds and loud noises overwhelm him when he's already feeling too emotionally overstimulated. Angel will sit with you as long as you need, holding your hand until you calm down. He'll gather whatever comforts he's able to grab, heck, he'd even ask Charlie for help if he felt really stuck and unsure of what to do.

"I didn't know what to get and so I asked Charlie, and she, well," he laughs softly. "Gave me one of everything. Chocolate, popcorn, chips, soda, juice, a face mask-- shit she really went full-out! These are luxury bath robes?!"

Husk

If there's something Husk understands it's that being a bartender you see people in all sorts of states in their lives. Happy, sad, depressed, divorced dad listening to rock music; he's seen it all.

So when you're on the verge of an anxiety attack, Husk drops everything and quickly approaches you, kneeling down to your height. His paw slips into your hand, allowing you to squeeze it, his other hand stroking your hair and pulling you to lean into his soft fluff.

"Easy there, tiger. Focus on your breathing, that's it." His deep voice rumbled against your skin. "That's it, kid. Keep on breathing for me, sweetheart." He nuzzles you gently. Husk may start purring too, as a cat's purr has been known to calm someone down.

Vox

To be honest, he's not quite sure what to do. Seeing you start to panic would probably make him panic a bit. He will approach you slowly, arms raised up almost defensively with his palms facing upwards. Is it okay for him to touch you? Yeah? "Okay, darlin', c'mere." Voxy's gotcha. Breathe in and out, in and out.

Hazbin Hotel x Sick!Reader

A/N: Hey guys! I wanted to do some more x reader headcanons just because they’re so fun! I love the idea of the characters caring for you when you’re sick, it’s just so cute. I hope you enjoy it!

Pairing: Hazbin Hotel x Reader

Warnings: None (if you don't count tooth-rotting fluff)

Characters: Alastor, Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Husk, Sir Pentious, Lucifer

🦌📻Alastor📻🦌:

Essentially hides you away in his room: wants more than anything to take care of you, but refuses to expose this “softer” side of him to anyone else. If anybody knew that you were the Radio Demon’s only weakness, not only would that put him in danger, but you as well.

Will prepare any food that your heart desires - his mother brought him up to be an excellent cook! His recommended feel-good food is his mother’s jambalaya, but you absolutely love when he makes etouffee!

If anybody dares to try and disturb your well-needed sleep, he broadcast their screams to remind them just why the hotel has a radio tower…

Will suggest that you take advantage of the bayou-side of his room for the fresh air, but of course will not force you to do anything against your complete comfort.

The best thing that he knows to do is what his mother did to him whenever he was sick: Sit in bed with him and tell him Creole folk tales. They always enamored him, and just the fact that he was allowing you to see this personal side of him made you feel better.

At the end of the day, Alastor would take advantage of the beautiful setting that the dark bayou side of his room provided and conjure up a lovely scene of fireflies, all while softly playing his piano and singing his favorite songs to guide you to sleep (You are the only person he will let hear his singing). While Alastor may seem heartless from afar, you wouldn’t trade this demon for all of the money in the world.

🗝️😈Charlie😈🗝️:

Would definitely notice that you were sick before you did and insisted that you get plenty of bedrest. When you refused, insisting that you were ok, she would monitor you until you finally accepted that you were sick and let her take care of you. She would say, “I’m not saying I told you so, buuuuuut…”

Takes care of you to the point where some tasks of the hotel were neglected, but to be honest, it was a win-win for everyone in the hotel. She was happy that you were being taken care of, and everyone else was happy that they didn’t have to participate in trust exercises.

She would crack open her book of the story of Hell - it always calms her down during an extermination, so hopefully it could calm you down as you try to sleep.

If she absolutely had to leave the hotel to do/get something, she would most definitely buy a little keepsake and bring it back for you.

She would use her love for singing to lull you to sleep, singing sweet lullabies that her mother used to sing to her as a child.

You have to constantly remind her to take care of herself as well, as she will literally remain at your bedside, not caring to eat or sleep, until you get better. She often gets so caught up in caring for others that she forgets to care for herself! You tell her that it would genuinely make you feel better to see her taking care of herself as well.

🪽⚔️Vaggie⚔️🪽:

Gets more defensive over you than usual, which honestly scares everyone. Nobody wants to so much as speak to you wrong in fear of Vaggie literally attacking them. Having Vaggie around is the definition of scary dog privileges.

She’s honestly extremely dramatic when it comes to you getting sick, which may seem ridiculous, but think about it: she was thrown away by her “family” in heaven, and now you’re the only person that she truly has. You confide in her, you allow her to let her guard down. If she lost you, she doesn’t know how she could even exist. So whether you have a cold or something more serious, she will automatically jump to the worst conclusions and get worried as Hell.

As tough as she seems, Vaggie loves to cuddle. She will literally lay in bed with you all day, not caring if she gets sick as well. You’re the only person that she can be vulnerable with, and if you have to be in bed all day, you better bet she’ll be right there next to you.

Her love language is absolutely telling you about all the things that she would do to defend you. She will go into immense detail about the things that she would do for you, and you will always listen in awe. She has been through so much, and this is the only way that she knows how to express her true love for you.

The last thing she wants is for somebody to feel abandoned in their struggle like she did when she fell from Heaven, especially you. She will make sure that you know how much you are valued and loved, not just by her, but by everyone at the hotel.

When you’re finally ready to get out of bed and start participating in hotel duties again, she monitors you the whole time to make sure that you’re not over-exerting yourself.

🕷️💖Angel Dust💖🕷️:

Is very upset and on edge - Valentino forces him to work everyday, no matter the circumstances, and not being at the hotel to care for you or at least watch over you makes him feel horrible.

Basically forces you to sleep as much as you can, even better if it’s in his room so he can see that you’re okay immediately when he gets home.

Encourages you to cuddle with Fat Nuggets - he’s essentially a cute and cuddly heating pad. (He actually gives Fat Nuggets this adorable pep talk about how he needs to take good care of you while “dad” is at work)

He wholeheartedly believes in the power of comedy, so he essentially treats your bedrest as a stand-up comedy show for him to perform in order to make you laugh. He’ll tell stupid jokes, put together horrible dances, or even just hide in places and scare you in hopes that making you laugh will help you forget how bad you feel.

Loves talking to you after work. You’re essentially the only person that he takes off his hypersexual mask around, and he knows that he can be himself around you, that you would never judge him. So, sometimes he will get home to find you already asleep and get in bed with you, holding you tight, whispering all of the things that he wanted to tell you about today, hoping that at least some of his words wiggle their way into your dreams.

Loves sappy rom com movies and will 100% force you to watch them with him. He claims it’s because the “good vibes” of the romance will make you feel better, but to be honest, he just wants someone to watch his dumb movies with.

♦️🥃Husk🥃♥️:

Will blame himself for your sickness, claiming that he shouldn’t have let you drink so much over the past couple of days (He literally cannot comprehend the idea that people can be sick NOT from being hungover lol).

When you insist that it’s not his fault, he’ll ease up. He’ll use some of his bartending skills to make some sort of juice mocktail for you and will definitely sneak in some vitamin C to heal you faster.

Everyone - specifically Angel - will wonder why the fuck the bar hasn’t been stocked in days (It’s because Husk has been chilling in bed/taking care of you nonstop).

This is the only time that he will completely surrender to the idea of being one big stuffed animal to cuddle with. I mean, he’s warm, soft, and he purrs! What’s more therapeutic than that?

This is also a great time to get uninterrupted talking time with Husk. He’s a great listener, so you’ve always opened up to him, but it took him a while to open up to you too. He had told you that you were one of the only people that he trusted enough to confide in, but always seemed to air on the side of caution when sharing his personal struggles because it always seemed that someone would just pop up at the bar asking for a drink whenever it happened. This was one of the few times that the two of you could be completely open and vulnerable with each other without the risk of outside judgment.

Given the fact that he was such a gambler, Husk has a knack for all sorts of card games. If you get too bored, just give him a deck of cards and the possibilities for entertainment are endless. Want him to teach you how to play poker or rummy? Done. Want him to embarrass himself while he tries to relearn some card tricks that he used to flaunt? Done and done.

🐍⚙️Sir Pentious⚙️🐍:

The second you told him you were sick, he would waste no time in finding one of his many inventions that could help you in some way. He definitely has some complex medical screening device hidden somewhere that he could use… he just has to remember where he put it.

If you complain about being sore, he will insist that you snuggle up next to him. Because he’s a cold-blooded reptile, his body is one big ice pack! On the other end, if you feel yourself coming down with some feverish chills, he has you covered! His bedroom ceiling is essentially one huge heat lamp, so feel free to chill under there, too!

Has assigned himself as your personal nurse and will provide anything that your heart desires. If it for some reason cannot be found within the hotel, he will travel to any ring of Hell necessary to make sure that you are well taken care of. This man is DETERMINED.

You can tell that he’s taking this seriously because he actually neglects his “evil duties” for a couple of days. The airship isn’t even mentioned until you heal (unless, of course, you feel that taking a ride on the airship would make you feel better. Then, of course he will set it up for you!).

Despite literally voicing his complete and utter devotion to your every flight of fancy, this man is still as awkward as ever. He will still struggle to ask you if you want to cuddle, quite literally fluttering around the subject until you bring it up for him.

At the end of the day, though, Sir Pentious is probably the sweetest sinner you could’ve ended up with as your caretaker. He may be awkward, but boy, does he love you!

👹👼Lucifer👼👹:

While you are resting in bed, he will conjure up the most delightful images of anything you request (his favorite, though, is a group of ducklings waddling through a golden lake together 🫶)

Being the King of Hell, he has so many interesting stories to tell you if you’re willing to listen. He will gladly tell you stories as you lay in bed with him, slowly lulling you to sleep. (His daughter clearly got her love of storytelling from him).

He loves that you trust him enough to let him take care of you - he doesn’t often have people around, let alone people that he truly loves. Just your presence in his room truly fills him with so much joy.

He didn’t want to annoy you with his ramblings about his many rubber ducks so he was ecstatic when you asked him to give you a tour of all of them. This man was telling you each and every duck’s name, backstory, etc. and honestly, it was adorable. When he quickly glazed over one of the ducks anxiously, you asked why. He then shyly revealed that it was, in fact, a rubber duck that looked just like you.

His love language is definitely gift-giving. This rubber duck would lead to him showing the many, MANY gifts he has created for you in his free time. He always has a ton of downtime, so making gifts for people is his favorite hobby. These gifts include, but aren’t limited to: various duck items, binded storybooks, music boxes, paintings, etc. This man is TALENTED, to say the least. He just hopes that looking at these will distract you enough from being sick.

Also, his room is by far the comfiest to sleep in while you’re sick… the mood lighting that is naturally provided from his glowing light shows is simply unmatched.

based on this lil idea

lucifer

he would literally keep you wrapped in his wings all night — all day if he could

this is definitely one of his favorite ways to show intimacy like he loves having you close to him; touching him, relying on him, holding him. it makes him feel so close to you, how could he not love it?

the minute this man sees you even shiver he’s wrapping his wings around you “are you cold?” doesn’t matter what you say, you’re already wrapped in his wings

whenever you fall asleep next to him, he just drapes his wings over you as a warm, feathery blanket, watching you relax with a smile

if you were to curl into his wings or hug them closer, he’s already planning your future (then he’s also trying not to make a sound that would wake you up cus i just know his wings are sensitive)

now if you used a blanket instead of his wings, he’d definitely start to wonder if he did something, but if you seemed uncomfortable, shifting and turning, he’d cautiously drape his wings over you and make him melt with how quickly you settled

if you said something like “i didn’t want to inconvenience you by asking” he’d just put his wings around you anyway and tell you to go back to sleep with a reminder you could never inconvenience him

if you do ask him, he’s trying his hardest not to swoon like… “i’m a little chilly, is it okay if—“ and he’s already (literally) got you covered

if you’re in public and someone looks at you the wrong way, best believe he’s using his wings to pull you to his side and drape over you without even acknowledging that other demon

this is literally second nature for him he loves things like this (anything for his love)

so if this was vaggie in heaven, she’d probably be reluctant to do it

like she’s a soldier! she can’t just let someone curl up in her wings!

but she does…

see, if you’re alone, sitting together on the couch or something, her wings are wrapped around you and they are not moving

she will literally fall asleep like that

if we’re talking hell vaggie, she’s always ready to wrap her wings around you and protect you

someone she doesn’t trust is in front of you? she’s pushing you behind her and wrapping her wings around you

you need comfort? her wings are wrapped around you while her hands are holding yours

i think vaggie also uses her wings to give you both some privacy

if you lean in for a kiss, she’s shielding you with her wings so she can kiss you how she wants

she’s a lover girl i just know she is

and she loves when you touch her wings (yes theyre probably sensitive too but she can control herself unlike some people) so if you’re sleeping together, her wings around you, and you wake up first you never push her wings off of you

sometimes you’ll just sit and run your fingers over them, feeling them stretch around you until she woke up and used her wings to pull you closer with a smile

yes she can make her wings appear and disappear, but whenever you’re around they’re out since she knows you like them

and if you ask her to wrap them around you, she’ll first make sure you’re alright but then, of course, give you what you asked for

for heaven vaggie i think itd grow on her but for hell vaggie she’d already love it and it’d just make her feel so much closer to you

okay husk is definitely the kind of guy to use is wings to stop you from walking into traffic or some shit (or even walking toward alastor)

he’s more of a “put his wing in front of you if someone looks at you wrong” kinda guy

overlord husk would definitely have you under his wing for protection from anyone trying to gamble with him

if anyone tried to bargain with him for you/your attention, he’s got his wing out in front of you (and he’s taking their soul)

if theres a brawl going on, he’ll shield you with his wings while he deals with it cus theres no way he’s letting anything happen to you (and since he knows he’ll win, there’s no way he’s letting any blood get on you either)

now when he’s asleep is when he’s not in control of what his wings do (or he his just subconsciously)

his wings would be draped over you — and if you just so happened to fall asleep first with a blanket, that blanket would somehow magically disappear and you’d wake up in the morning with his wings as a much softer alternative

if you got up in the middle of the night you best believe he’s waking up and waiting for you to get back before falling right back asleep when you do with his arm and wing over you

now if you asked him to drape his wings over you, he’s 100% doing it without question. anything you want, no complaints

husk may be a private guy but he’s very caring

now this man is 1000% percent used to wrapping you up in his wings

you’ll somehow end up having office sex and he’ll have to wrap his wings around you when someone walks in, masking it as polishing his feathers

he’d start doing this when you were alone, finding it so much more intimate (but also secretive and more arousing)

whenever he wants a kiss, he’s wrapping his wings around you so you can’t get away (not that you’d want to)

if he’s teasing you, he’s got his wings wrapped around you, mocking you for liking it so much and then using the privacy of his wings to dote on you, whispering sweet nothings and peppering kisses on your face (before he goes right back to being an ass)

if you even try to use a blanket over his wings, he’s the most pissy, butthurt man in all of heaven “want me to fluff them up for you or some shit? what’s this about?” and it’d slowly morph into “are you mad at me?” then “so… you want to break up” and you’d have to talk him down until you were safely wrapped in his wings

if you fell asleep before he got home, under a blanket, he’d literally just get rid of the blanket and wait for you to curl into him, sleepily grabbing for a blanket and giving him the perfect opportunity to stretch out his wings and watch you burry yourself beneath them

now if you grab his wings at all, he’s waking you up because he can’t handle that “what’d i tell you about touching my wings, babe?” (but you’d grab them again anyway)

if you ask him to put his wings around you in public, he’ll deny it because he’s so off guard that his sensitive wings could not handle wrapping around you without taking you home (of course as soon as you got home he’d apologize and give you what you wanted)

now you just ask out of the blue to see his wings involuntarily fluff and stretch and watch him choke on his words

if you asked when you were alone he’d be happy to oblige

sometimes you’d walk down the promenade and he’d just put his wing over you to make sure everyone knew who you were

after a gig, same thing, no one is getting near you

adam is a little bit inept when it comes to romance, but this definitely makes up for it

now theres no chance in hell she’s putting her wings anywhere near you in public

if someone is a little too friendly, she’s stretching her wings out then using one to pull you close before walking away with a sour look on her face and dragging you with her

she also uses her wings to stop you from doing things, but if you move them out of the way she’s gotta stop herself from doing something

don’t touch her wings… seriously don’t. she wont know what to do with herself and you’ll have a serious problem on your hands (maybe a clingy problem depending on the day)

now say both of you are exorcists, she’s definitely using her wings to protect you. there’s a sinner trying to fight back? she’s darting to you, wrapping her wings around you, and getting rid of that sinner faster than you can blink

and in that last battle??? she’s not letting you anywhere near that shield, keeping you behind her with her wings shielding you. once its gone, she’s slaughtering anyone that gets near you and using her wings to move you out of the way, keep you close, or take blows for you (i just know once lute cares about someone she’s protecting them with her life cus she refuses to lose anyone)

once you get home she’s got you wrapped up in her wings and holding you close

if you’re not an exorcist, she’s doing this after every extermination — there’s no way she’s letting you go and she’ll fall asleep like that before you even get the chance to talk about it, or worse get up and leave her (and she is not talking about it the next day so don’t bother trying, she’ll just ignore you and hand you a blanket… before getting jealous later)

and if you hold her back, you can feel her wings flutter while she sleeps, folding in and pulling you impossibly closer

3/10 • So this is what betrayal feels like. Sharpening the blades around her wounded heart and rebuilding her wall of defense, Vaggie vows never to make this mistake again. She goes through the 5 stages of grief but lingers on anger for a really long time. Not at you, never at you, but herself

Angel Dust ⁎⁺˳✧༚

2/10 • Throwing up the illusion he’s unbothered only works for so long. Angel can snort, drink and fuck until he’s numb all over but the void in his soul refuses to be filled by anything that’s not you. You, unwittingly, threaten his chances at redemption because he’d rather go back to Val’s place than live under the same roof as you when you’re not his

Sir Pentious ⁎⁺˳✧༚

6/10 • He’s devastated, don’t get it twisted, but has a really interesting way of always picking himself back up. Pen would be courteous to you, albeit awkward, trying to understand the fresh dynamic between you. Catches himself when he tries to reach for your hand or sit next to you. It’s hardest when he’s alone, not even the Egg Boiz can cheer him up

Husk ⁎⁺˳✧༚

1/10 • It’s not an accident or a cry for help that he drowns himself in alcohol to the point he can’t get up. He’s stopping himself from falling to his knees before you and begging for you to come back. The bar goes unattended for the longest time, he can’t bare the thought of seeing you

Alastor ⁎⁺˳✧༚

-500/10 • On the outside he’s right as rain! His smile never dropped before, you certainly won’t change that. Alastor doesn’t appreciate the sensitivity around the subject, loudly declaring that everything is fine. The room get’s notably colder when he walks in it, like he’s intentionally sucking up the light and warmth. CHARLIE

Its canon that Charlie herself is an artist, she makes her own presentations and everything! Shes very open to sharing her supplies with you, though a lot of the colors she has are very bright and saturated. You might inspire her to have an artsy based exercise in the hotel, you... may get a few groans and looks from some of the other hotel residents.. whoops.. gushes and goes insane whenever you make something for her or really show her anything, she can go on for hours and hours about how lovely your work looks! Woukd put it on the fridge/hj

VAGGIE

Not at all an artist, and she doesnt... exactly know techniques and terms. She is proud of you and shes trying her best to show that, but... her compliments seem to fall a little flat when praising you thanks to her voice as well as her just not knowing terms. A lot of the time its comments like "oh, this looks good," whereas other characters can say WHY it's good. Though is that really that important when seeking validation? Keeps all the art you give her in a folder somewhere, neat and away from harm

ANGEL

It should be a given that hes going to ask if you can draw something... rather inappropriate. Were you really surprised? He might likely also ask you to draw fat nuggets, he even offers to pay you. Keeps some of your doodles pinned up on his vanity mirror on his room. Hes an artist, just not in the way you are. He has an appreciation for your work even if it's a different genre! It doesnt matter what your skill level is, hes going to be a little interested. He offers to pose for you if you need a quick reference, he can offer something interesting thanks to his flexibility! Free of charge, too!

ALASTOR

Similar to Angel, hes an artist just in a different way! Angel is a dancer and an actor, and Alastor uses radio as his medium! Hes.. interested enough in your work, though he can be a little more.. critical in his criticisms (but only if you ask for it, hes not rude!). He doesnt intent to fully stamp out your excitement, hes simply trying to get you to reach your fullest potential as an artist. It is balanced out by elements he enjoys in your art. Watches you like a hawk when you work. Dont try to be sneaky and try to draw him, he already knows what you're doing.. but he might just allow it, it's not like you're using a camera

HUSK

Hes indifferent, at least.. mostly.. he listens when you talk about your hobby and he makes sure you know hes paying attention. But you can tell that hes not sure how to keep the conversation going thanks to him just... not being into art. Sure he can tell when something has talent and had work put into it, but hes not the type to sit down and really dissect a piece. Though... his appreciation for art does grow thanks to you. Keeps the doodles you slide to him while he's working the bar- gets a little pissed at himself if part of the papers get wet from the condensation from the drinks

SIR PENTIOUS

NIFTY

She draws! As a hobby and when shes not warring with the bugs in the hotel! Sometimes the two of you sit and draw together- though Niftys more.. scribbling on the papers. Shes just excited is all! Don't ask where she got the red paint from. Hoardes the art you give her, very possessive of the drawings. Probably attempts to stab someone if they get too close to her stash

Hes a bit artistic himself, being an inventor and all! He draws his own blueprints and as well as his own designs. It may not be the same as the things you may create, but it's still a bonding point between the two of you. He let's you use his fancy pens and stuff, just please return them! Will praise you to heaven and back whenever you show him something, he knows some art terms and you can bet hes going to be using them to really push his praise! If you ever draw him anything hes going to keep it, likely framing it as well!

First writing for Vaggie, I hope this isn't too OOC! I hope you enjoy Anon!

I think this may be the last post of the night, if I cannot sleep I might write some more.. Though I think I will save the remainder of my requests until tomorrow. Hmm..

BONDING:

Bonding with her can be tricky... she's only really known battle up until her fall... Though, perhaps you both spar in order to get to know one another better? At least in the beginning, until Vaggie finds other ways to bond with someone. Another idea is perhaps the two of you recovering together after said sparring session! When you are both in a more developed relationship, you two may bond over games. Card games, I think! Who doesn't like spending time with their favorite person while playing Uno or Monopoly!

CUDDLING:

She's very.. cold... I mentioned in my Lute post that Heaven Born are cold, going off of the headcanon that it is because they were never alive/mortal. The same applying to most Hell Born, with the exception of Charlie and a handful of others.. This still applies to Vaggie, given her being a fallen exterminator. Similarly to Lute, she lays a little stiff during cuddling, but generally lays more loose and relaxed if given enough time to break out of the exterminator.. soldier... mindset. Likes being the big spoon as it makes her feel secure and that she can protect you if anything were to happen.

JEAOUSY:

She gets jealous fairly easily, and can sometimes lose her composure when interacting with you or the other person. She can be quick to understand if someone is coming onto you and you're uncomfortable, going as far as to bluntly tell the other party to go away in a... not so polite way. However, she's still open to communicating her feelings if asked about it. She's not very good at hiding her feelings, so she will talk sooner rather than later.

LOVE LANGUAGE:

Quality time means so much to Vaggie. She loves spending time with you when she can and has the mental capacity to be around other people. Words of affirmation also mean a lot to her, so please do be sure to remind her that you love her!

As for giving, she would make sure to pay attention to what makes you feel loved and adapt her behavior to suit your wants and needs. She is very attentive.

As mentioned in the cuddling section, her body is cold! She also sleeps stiff, too. The good thing is that she doesn't toss and turn. As well as this she's very open to letting you snuggle into her side while you share the bed. Very quiet, too. Doesn't snore or sleep talk... though she is a morning person, in fact she tends to wake up very early.. so you might be accidentally woken up when she's crawling out of bed to get ready..

Sorry to bother you, but, Can I request some hh headcanon for a dream demon reader, who subsists entirely on condiments, who will just pop into people's dreams unannounced, ask a question, and if the person is having a nightmare, they will resolve it before repeating their question. ("Hey Char-Char, do ya know where the mustard packets are in the awake world?")

HH Dream Demon HCs

Alastor absolutely hates this side of you

Hates his privacy being intruded and tho they’re not direct threats he has definitely threatened you

But seeing as your both demons and can’t exactly die at the hands of each other you don’t really care

Also Charlie likes you so that’s a big plus on your side and protection wise

So you’ll continue bugging the deer man until one of you dies again

And no matter how curious you are you never stay when he has a dream of his once alive self

With his mother at home, the two of them together

It feels too personal and too weird to connect with Alastor, this ruthless all killing demon

So you’re fine staying just to get on his nerves just to pop out and continue on

Husk hardly notices

Tho he does seem to have a higher tolerance to alcohol than some, that doesn’t mean he still isn’t affected by it

They mostly affect his sleep, as in if he dreams he doesn’t remember it most the time

You can use this to your advantage, but he’s not the guy to have secrets so who cares and if he does have any you’re not really interested

He’s also no used to you because he’s better at remembering where he hid extra liquor from Charlie than where any sort of sauce is

Niffty loves having you around when she sleeps!

Doesn’t mind if it’s you dropping buy to ask her where she’s stored the sauce as she’s likely rearranged seven times this week

But even if you go in just asking for that you usually stay a little longer just to chat, she likes your company and she’s much more likely than some others here

She’s got some weird dreams tho, and you assume they’re with how she died

Lot of sewing, lot of stalking

Depending on how far in the dream she is it can unsettle you

It’s even weirded when she asks for your help

You don’t visit Angel’s dreams too often

Or rather you don’t visit his nightmares

He’s always sad, always crying and even when he’s not an in the lights and performing it always turns sour

You’ve tried to help a couple times but once he realizes it’s you he gets all mad and defensive and demands you leave

Sometimes you pretend to, not comfortable leaving him alone when he’s struggling so much on the inside

Sometimes you can hear him crying to himself, or the nightmare resuming resulting in yelling and objects thrown

And even if he was arguing with you it’s better than suffering by himself

But you also don’t want to invade

It’s not the same twisted dreams Alastor has that’s practically the same as he is in the awake world

It’s much deeper than that, much more painful

Vaggie doesn’t know how to feel about you in her dreams, but she hasn’t outwardly expressed displeasure in it

Rather just asks what you’re doing and why you’re there

If you’re asking for something she’ll tell you where it is, or if you just want to chat she’ll entertain you

Sometimes she’s more personal than the others, expressing her concerns about the hotel and Charlie

How she has nightmares of the fall of the hotel and not being enough

And you try to reassure her but only she can really ease her own stress, only she can solve her inner turmoil

But you do make it easier for her

Charlie is by far the most fun to visit

She’s always entertaining and having fun when you visit

At least when she expects you or you catch up with her to announce your presence

Finds it weird you like sauce so much, but doesn’t question it, just makes sure to stock up on it for you

She may even ask you about the whole ordeal with that since she wants to get to know you

Or may even ask about your life on earth before you came to hell

But sometimes when you don’t announce your presence right away or she doesn’t sense you, you get caught up in her nightmares, her worries

She worries about the hotel failing, worries how her father and mother will perceive her if she fails, wonders how the citizens of hell will perceive her

They already think she’s a laughingstock, this would do nothing but prove them right

And though she never openly expressed these concerns to you, as she never wants to make you gloom

You make sure she knows you can come to her if she has any problems or just wants to get something off her chest

But that’s yet to happen…

Imagine being the youngest patron in the Hazbin Hotel

I needed to get out my idea because the Hazbin Hotel fixation is starting. I have my issues with the show, but so far, I've enjoyed it! I'm considered the baby in my friend group, which stemmed these headcanons in the first place. Anyway, I let me know your thoughts about this post!

Hazbin Hotel x Reader (platonic)

You were banished to hell in somewhat recent years, so you’re considered the baby of the group. You’re not treated like a child, per se, but the guys frequently tease you about it. Husk calls you ‘kid’ to piss you off, as does Angel. You’re certain they only know you by that nickname and not your actual name.

No one understands the references you make, whether it be from a meme or films. You consider it really unfortunate when they look at you weird or if Charlie awkwardly laughs at your comment. Charlie humors you with your references, but she still doesn’t understand your slang.

You like to spread some harmless mischief in the hotel when you’re bored. You have added googly eyes to the booze in Husk’s bar, which he didn’t think was funny. At least Angel found it humorous and Charlie kept you from Husk’s wrath when he realized it was your doing.

You like to play with Keekee when you have time to spare. You balled up a piece of paper and throw it for her to chase. You made the poor choice of getting catnip for her. You didn’t think Husk would react to the plant as well. He threatened you to keep his secret. Because you value your limbs intact, you didn’t spread that information around.

You force the group for a movie night, which doesn’t involve sex-related films (much to Angel’s dismay). You pick out a movie you think mostly everyone will enjoy. Charlie and Nifty are usually the most excited to watch the one you picked. You find the film hard to enjoy because Angel and Pentious are relentlessly commenting about the scenes. No amount of shushing from Vaggie will stop their annoying chatter. There is a silver lining though because you watch movies with the girls every so often without their presence to ruin the film.
