SCKAP AU Part Three!

Parts One and Two are here

I’m gonna go in a different direction for part four so I figured I’d wrap up the Heart Pirates portion of it (they’ll be back)

So! Pre-timeskip only has Rosie added onto Law’s entourage during Sabaody. Not much of a difference. I’ve got Cora and Del staying behind on the Tang bc 1. Still pretending Cora is dead (hence the dyed hair) 2. Delly’s half fishman.

Which leads to revealing Rosie’s epithet as Rosie the Riveter bc why the hell not! It’s fun! And I know she doesn’t say Armsmorphosis all that much and only for her full body transformations but I couldn’t come up w a fitting catchphrase for her.

After Marineford, Cora splits up from the crew since, from this point onwards, their I Hate Doflamingo plan is starting. He decides to travel the grand line (wearing what I’ve designed for him in part one) creating his own lil information network. He’s in constant contact with his kids too.

I’ve got Del’s usual fit here: a swimsuit underneath some clothes that I think are more femme leaning and in line w Law’s style of dress. Delly looks up to him a lot here. They also cut the hoodie up themself. And high heeled boots. They intrinsically like dressing more femininely. Giolla just gave them bad fashion taste in canon ok?

In Dressrosa, I’ve plopped Delly with Nami and the others on the Sunny for the duration of it. Cue screaming match between Del and Giolla lol

Also wanted to show Del’s puffy hat at Punk Hazard.

And Shachi and Penguin without all the hats and glasses in the way. Until Oda says otherwise, Shachi is also a half human half fishman (archerfish type - yeah I looked up what fish can shoot water at people. There’s no other explanation that makes sense to me for Shachi inflating and becoming a water gun.)

Additionally: Delly and Penguin match their nail polish often.

Heart Pirates!Cora and Baby 5

Now with Part 2 and Part 3

Cora taking Baby 5 with him and Law when they leave the Family is very inspired by this fic (which fair warning: Cora’s canon fate is unchanged)

Anyway, something I love about the fic I linked above is that Baby 5 names herself Rosie. And in this AU they both call themselves Trafalgar (Law has a heart to heart with them and offers his last name. This is prior to meeting the other boys)

I’ve taken this 26 yr old man and given him 5 children. I’m fond of the idea that he’s a sniper (minimizes the chances of him tripping and slamming his face somewhere).

I also figured that the makeup and feathery uh jacket? that he wears are both a comfort to him and a reminder of a lot of negative shit. So! He keeps a similar style but it’s like a fresh start.

Rosie (which yes she named herself after Rocinante) would be First Mate I think. She’s like Law’s right hand man during surgeries and a weapons expert. She dumped the name Baby 5 because she’ feels like a person now thanks to leaving the Family.

Lollipops are everywhere on the Polar Tang bc Cora is gonna kick that nicotine addiction of Law has anything to say about it. And Rosie definitely eats them for moral support and no other reason (a lie)

Bepo, Shachi and Penguin also get unofficially adopted by Cora. (His hat was a birthday gift from Shachi and Penguin so that they could all match)

I suppose this is Part 2 of my lil AU I’ve now dubbed SCKAP AU. The C stands for Cora 😊

I decided to also have Cora steal Dellinger bc why the hell not! (Delly is also nonbinary I’ve decided)

Drake and Cora being allies. Shachi and Penguin, being the only ones of Cora’s kids to not have bounties (Post Dressrosa) send a nice photo to their grandfather Sengoku. And Dressrosa fits for Cora, Baby 5 and Dellinger.

Oh and Baby 5 (Rosie) is absolutely one of the Worst Generation. She’s the first mate here so it matches up nicely w the Kid and Straw Hats having both Captain and First Mate as part of it.

[cracks knuckles] ok here we go:

Basically, after Cora and Law get beat up by Vergo but before he calls Doffy, Rosie shoots him in the neck (he lives 🙄).

So you got all four of them hauling ass away from Minion before there’s even a bird cage. (Vergo gets saved by the marines on the island so there’s even more of a delay for Doffy to get info).

Cora takes them all into hiding for a few years (including Bepo Shachi and Penguin). Law tho is pretty adamant that the way they’re living isn’t freedom bc they’re still trying to stay out of Doffy’s notice.

Bam - Heart Pirates exist.

Though they decide that they’ll pretend Cora died back then (both out of love for their father and as a strategic move). But of course, man gets a bounty anyway. Not sure how bounties actually get decided on in canon, but here Fleet Admiral Sengoku gets the draft first. He sends Drake to investigate.

So as long as Sengoku’s Fleet Admiral, Cora doesn’t have a bounty. The kids aren’t really comfortable working with him, but they see it as something they gotta do to take down Doffy.

Long ass explanation as to why Cora’s bounty has him in his Dressrosa fit lol

Land of Departure residents

Just a lil part of an AU where Vanitas redemption is a thing that happens in kh3.

Some design notes:

The wayfinder trio is mostly the same but I wanted to change the little bits of armor they have to match their full set.

Vani, on the other hand, I tried to take a lot of inspo from Ven and from his original suit. Chose to make his shirt be the same type as the others, but white to make it more obvious he's a later addition to the group.

Also, Aqua with brown eyes solely for aesthetic reasons. But, I did give her Master's Defender bc it just looks so nice in her hands.

Vani has Missing Ache to link him and Ven together with who they were before. Freckles and wavy hair for Ven and Vani bc I refuse to make half the cast with the same exact face. Basically: Vanitas is a Ven Base + Sora flavoring.
