💌 • Volks
Volks usually offers to be the big spoon but he secretly really likes being the little spoon too. He'll never admit it though, he thinks it's too embarrassing so you'll have to be the big spoon once and a while.
He really enjoys your warmth when your bodies are pressed together, it's oddly comforting to him. It reminds him that you're really here with him and this isn't all just made up in his head.
He likes holding you from behind and burying his face into your neck. He does this during the mornings while you're making breakfast or any other activity really.
Speaking of mornings, that's the time when Volks is feeling the most cuddly. He presses himself onto you while the two are still in bed. The moment is very peaceful and quiet while you enjoy each other's presence. Getting up is his least favorite part though, he'd rather lay with you then get ready for the day. He isn't really a morning person either.
💌 • Cole
Definitely prefers being the big spoon. He likes holding you close, it makes him feel like he's protecting you in a way. He wants you to feel safe while you two are cuddling.
Extremely clingy! Doesn't let you go for at least a couple hours. His grip is very tight as well so don't bother getting up unless it's really an emergency.
Cuddling like this feels really intimate to him. He treasures every moment with you but physical closeness is what he prefers the most. He loves the sound of your breathing and how warm your body feels with his. It's the sensory experience that helps make him feel closer to you.
He likes to lay his head on your chest while listening to the steady rhythm of your heartbeat, it makes him feel at ease. Sometimes he accidentally falls asleep while listening to it.
Whispers a bunch of sweet nothings into your ear the whole time. He likes watching you squirm from embarrassment with everything he says, he finds it adorable.
💌 • Reece
Reece is fine with being the big or little spoon, it really depends on your preference. As long as you're enjoying yourself, then he is too!
He's also a bit clingy but not like Cole, he lets you get up when you need to.
Can't forget about his cuteness aggression, his arms are super tight around you while you cuddle. Peppers your face in kisses randomly. He does it without warning too so it catches you off guard a bit. You're just too cute for him to handle!
He enjoys cuddling on the couch to unwind after a long day while watching a sappy costume drama on TV. Definitely cracks a joke or too about what you're watching just to get a quick chuckle out of you.
When you aren't watching something, he likes laying in bed with you while facing each other. He likes looking into your eyes and playing with your hair while you exchange whispers and gentle touches.
He's most cuddly after work or on his days off. He loves his job but he doesn't like that he has to be away from his beloved for a while so he becomes especially touchy.
Playfully wraps his scarf around you so that he could snuggle closer to you.

Cole:
on the surface it's a very sweet domestic life
he plays the role of the loving, doting husband well
mostly cause he is actually a loving, doting husband
he's a bit strange but then again who isn't
but over all life with him very pleasant
just don't go in the basement though
that's his private space for his personal hobbies
don't worry about what hobby-- they say that the best married couples are ones that continue some level of personal life after marriage you know
he defiantly keeps the house clean
he's actually a bit of a neat freak
but he's also a pretty decent cook
he's not about to work at a 5 star fancy restaurant or anything but he can make some very solid dishes and is actually looking to learn more for you
I will say he tries to keep it all healthy though
he's not as much of a health nut as Kelby but he does constantly worry about your health
"why, if I lost you, I would have to spend every waking moment mourning at your grave until I withered away into nothing! and frankly that sounds too sad and boring to be how it ends for me"
definitely watches you sleep
sometimes stays up late just to watch you, all sweet and peaceful and helpless
is also very affectionate now that he's "claimed" you as it were
also is very open to letting all others know that you are well and truly spoken for, in case any ideas might think about wondering into their heads believing otherwise

is much more openly affectionate after tying the knot
once you agreed to marry him and he knew you were the real deal and weren't going anywhere, he didn't really see the point in holding back
he actually partakes in a lot more little romantic gestures after your married, though all of them still not directly to your face cause he's still him and he gets embarrassed
little stuff like notes around the house telling you how much he loves you left in places he know you'll find it
or flowers waiting on the kitchen counter for you
or "I love you" written on your hand that you wake up to (also there might be some marker on either the pillow or your face or both oops)
also a card carrying member of the watching his spouse sleep club
he can't really cook but he makes decent money and also comes from a well off enough family so he can afford to get take out basically every night
if you cook then he will also try to learn to cook but it's very rough at first
he's very proud the first time he made pasta and it was edible and stuff

the house is very cozy cottage nook vibes
a little hobbit hole esque
except there is def some kind of play room and/or a least a chest and something risque built into your bed room (pole, swing, whatever)
he has a library, he NEEDED to have a library
but there is also book shelves in every other room in the house as well
tries and fails to be a decent cook but now that he's a husband he's actually a little more set on getting gud scrub

Volks' love languages
(his deluxe date made me start thinking about this... I'm definitely going to make more of these for the other guys <3)
-Volks isn't a touchy feely guy. He just isn't. Sure, he opens up a lot more around you than he does around other people, but that doesn't mean he isn't awkward and cagey about it.
-Won't initiate physical touch. Practically refuses to. You have to be the one to initiate everything.
-It isn't even that he doesn't want to touch you- no, he's just too stubborn to ask. Because (clearly) asking your significant other for a hug is embarrassing (obviously). He always has to bring it up in a round-about way, like "If you tripped and fell on me-" or "If you wanted to-".
-He eventually gets more and more used to it the longer you're dating.
-Just don't call attention to it when it finally happens. If you make a big deal out of him hugging or deciding to kiss you first, he'll get embarrassed and stop. It's like getting the trust of a wild animal- he's skittish. (lmao)
-In general though, physical touch just isn't really his thing. He doesn't hate it (even if he pretends he does), but it's not usually his first thought either. Hates PDA don't even try it with him cause he'll refuse.
-Isn't the biggest fan of gifts, either... He just isn't very materialistic. He could take or leave most presents, unless they were particularly thoughtful or really to his taste.
-The best gift you can give him is an activity to do together, or something for him to cook. If you ever want to get Volks downright giddy, get him the expensive wagyu. Seriously, he'll be like a kid on Christmas.
-Which leads into one love language Volks is very much a fan of: Acts of service.
-It stems from his childhood. His mother was an ER nurse- and he did everything he could to make her life less difficult.
-He got good grades, kept his room clean, didn't get in fights... He was kind of the definition of a 'good kid'. Started doing his own laundry and making his own meals a lot younger than a lot of kids typically would. He never really minded it, either. Usually, when the house was already clean and dinner was already cooked, it meant that him and his mom could spend more time together since she didn't have anything extra to do after work.
-This bleeds into his romantic relationships too, even if he doesn't realize it. The biggest way Volks shows he loves you is by doing things for you. This trait comes out x100 if you live together.
-You are NOT going to work without a packed lunch. If you bug him about it enough he might even leave you cute little notes. Usually just stupid little doodles of wolves and stuff but he doesn't understand why you love them so much.
-Cooks most of the meals and does most of the chores. (malewife fr)
-You try to insist that you should split the chores 50/50... but he just ignores it. He wants to make your life less difficult.
-"So what if I did the laundry already? We don't need to take turns doing it... C'mon, don't look at me like that."
-"Don't worry about the dishes, I'll do them myself later... Seriously, there are better ways to spend our time together."
-He's secretly such a sweetheart, although he struggles with words of affirmation.
-Sometimes, Volks will say something so incredibly sweet that it makes you swoon but it's never on purpose.
-If he's TRYING to use his words, he can't come up with anything. He's plagued with awkwardness and an emotionally stunted personality, words are hard for him. He struggles to string words together that really explain how much he likes you...
-When he says something really sweet, it's probably because he's just being honest and not putting any thought into it.
-Which... Volks kind of has a problem with sometimes. It's difficult for him to really talk about his emotions and feelings and that's why he always pushes this cares about nothing/nonchalant attitude- you can't be disappointed if nothing ever bothers you.
-So, he actually really appreciates having someone that speaks their mind and means it. You manage to fluster him so much just by being nice and honest with him.
-Hearing you say how much you like him, how attractive you think he is, how much you appreciate what he does for you... Really makes him swoon.
-He's never really put much faith into people's words- actions are what speaks loudest- but it's different when it's you. He loves your words.
-Just... tone down the flirting and compliments in public, okay? He thinks he looks like a dork when he blushes like crazy in public and he'll pout about it.
-Volks' other main love language is quality time.
-Just wants to spend time with you. He doesn't really care what you're doing, or where, or for how long.
-Whether it's for a couple of minutes between your busy schedule, or for hours at a time. Any time he spends with you is good time spent.
-Volks is a homebody and an introvert at heart. His personal time and space are not something he gives up lightly. Just the fact that he allows you in his apartment when you start dating is a high honor, because it's a privilege only few are afforded. (few = you and his mom)
-You don't even have to be doing anything when you're together. Volks is the type that's perfectly content to just exist in the same room. It gives him a good opportunity to stare at you without you noticing.
-Speaking of staring, it's practically a love language in it of itself for him. He loves to just look at you, and he doesn't really care if it's 'weird'. So what if he's staring? You're hot. It'd be a shame not to stare.
-He'll also love it if you engage in his hobbies, especially if you agree to go camping with him. Just be careful, his idea of camping is closer to straight up survival. But he'll be happy, so you figure it's worth giving up your comfortable bed and learning to spear fish in the wilderness.

Tail Tango
I've return from the war, had this sitting in the inbox so as a start i give you this short piece. I'll probably be back around now but we'll see unless I disappear for another 6 months.
Thank you for requesting the prompt a long while back, my apologizes for such a long hiatus. These will be Headcanons of Volks and Scale, I'm sorry that Scales might be odd, I haven't gotten a good read on his character for this.

Volks
✦ Since Volks is a wolf, he can’t really wrap his tail around you as you would hope, however he does have a bad habit of wagging his tail rather aggressively against you when he gets happy or is in your presence.
✦ Say he wanted to hold you close or hold your hand, then you’ll be more than aware of the fluffy tail pressed against your thigh or even smacking your butt while you stroll together. It’s a cute gesture, often leaving you in a quiet giggling fit as Volks struggles to find why you are laughing before growing pink in embarrassment.
✦When he catches it himself, he denies the fact that he was practically hitting you with his tail, holding his tail in his hand while continuing which only leaves his lover wondering why he’s doing that. They can only think that maybe he didn’t want it to drag and pick up more dirt then it already has.
✦ “Hmm? Ah, no, nothing really. I just have no control over it sometimes, that’s all. Don’t wanna be knocking over strangers… though that would be fun to watch.”
✦ He won’t admit it but he really likes it when you brush your hand over his tail, he won’t tell you but seeing how gentle you are with your touch, combing through his fur to even it out leaves him feeling pure bless. He won’t ask you too, but should you stop your little show of affection, he will roughly thump you with his tail until you get the memo. He didn’t tell you to stop just yet.
✦ Often, he uses his tail to bring you closer to him, holding your hand isn’t enough for him so he uses his bush of a limb to push you closer. Patting your lower back until you were forced to step closer so that you’re almost pressed into his side, leaving him to smoothly wrap his arm around your shoulder and whisper in your ear, “My my, would you look at that? Looks like I have you wrapped around my finger, huh?”
Scale
✦ Being an assassin, Scale is constantly alert and always having his guard up. Since getting together, he has begun to protect you like you are a further extension of himself, which in some sense you are. Should you be the more oblivious kind, he will purposely use his tail and wings to better ward off danger and keep you by his side.
✦ That being said, he will do it subconsciously now which leads him to get into embarrassing situations where he hovers his wings behind your back when in public, his tail following suit that it coils around your arm. He hates it when you further encourage it, because now he knows that you are aware of his small habit which makes it even harder to break. He’s an assassin! He can’t be turning soft now!
✦ Everytime he sees himself doing this, he makes a big deal out of it. What!? No, he was not cuddling up to you, he thought he was holding his dagger cuz you know, how else wouldn't they use their tail to hold their weapon of choice! Huh, oh, he already has them in his hands- NO MATTER, he thought you were a pole to stabilize on. After all, an assassin must stay balanced when perched up! Just- don’t mention it again, his heart can’t take the second-hand embarrassment.
✦ “Geez, you really have to go and point out the obvious. It’s not like I want you close to me… hey, where are you going? Wait, don't leave me behind Hhh! You could be ambushed if you’re not careful, don’t ask why I care!”
✦ Something about the way he can cradle you against his figure gives him this kind of power on his person, seeing you be vulnerable and at peace in his presence, it isn’t something that he is gifted often as he works in a very violent environment. That being said, let him have this moment where he can pull you in with his wings when he feels the need to protect you. His tail is pretty thick so he will utilize it to push away anybody who dares hurt or approach his most precious treasure.
✦ With a silent thump of his tail, you turn to see him standing behind you as he keeps a close eye on the area, but his eyes will often drift back to yours before getting caught in your gaze. Rolling his eyes with a huff, he speeds your way before taking a hold of your hand and drags you off, his tails following his lead in wrapping around your waist. “I could have sworn something was following us, so keep close. I don’t want to lose you now, don’t think too much about it.” And all you can do is gently pat his tail in agreement.

Okay, but tell me that Blush Blush isn’t just one humungous polyship? It totally is and it’s hinted at strongly through text even in game! So I didn’t even have to pick one particular polyship here and just based it off the entire cast of lovely, sexy men! I hope you enjoy the headcanons, based off this prompt here!
Who shops for groceries?
I feel like Nimh definitely always remembers to shop for groceries and that grocery shopping dates are a huge thing for him. They’re just very relaxed and cutely domestic and really up his alley. Myx, maybe not so surprisingly, is really into farmer’s markets and, while some dates he takes you on are raucous or crazy, he appreciates a good Saturday morning date with you to the farmer’s market.
Who kills the spiders?
William does not abide spiders being killed. He traps them with a glass and takes them outside and even gives them a name as he says goodbye to them. Anon makes you kill the spiders for him, while Volks will happily kill the spiders for you.
Who comes home drunk at 3 a.m.?
Eli, Dmitri, and William have all done this in the time you’ve known them. Eli loves clubbing and the nightlife and it’s too easy to get drunk off those frou-frou, fruity drinks he loves because it’s so hard to taste the alcohol in them. He’ll happily stagger home, drunk and giggling, with you after a night out on the town. William is a wine drunk and gets silly when drunk and it’s up to you to get him safely back home and into bed to keep him from getting into much trouble. Dmitri doesn’t get drunk quickly but when he gets drunk, he gets horny and it will be a race for him to either get home to you or to take you home…or anywhere private, really.
Who makes breakfast?
Kelby makes protein shakes every morning and always makes one for you if he’s with you. Nimh cooks you a healthy breakfast every morning you’re with him. Eli loves brunch with you and will take you out to brunch fairly often, where there will be mimosas and gossiping. Garret makes the most heavenly flapjacks but doesn’t often eat breakfast – they’re normally a breakfast for supper kind of deal.
Who remembers to feed the fish?
William never forgets to feed any animal. If you have fish, Sven really likes feeding them too…and sometimes, you’ll find that the fish have been fed, though you can’t remember feeding them, and it’s usually because it’s one of those little things that Cole breaks in to your house to do does for you as sweet gestures to make your life easier.
Who decorates the apartment?
William, Dmitri, Volks, and Stirling all have very set senses of style when it comes to interior design and their apartments are all quite decorated. Nimh’s is kind of a cozy mishmash that he encourages you to add to. Eli loves shopping for furniture and interior décor as dates but would want to design the apartment with you instead of by himself. Scale, Ichiban, and Garret aren’t really into interior design strongly and are happy to turn the reins over to you when it comes to decorating. And as long as it’s really damn clean, Anon doesn’t much care what the place looks like…just, clean it. Please.
Who initiates duets?
Come on, the answer to this one is so obviously Myx that you had to see the answer coming. He breaks out in random song and loves it when you harmonize with him.
Who falls asleep first?
Okay, so I feel like Nimh, Kelby, and Scale fall asleep before you. Stirling stays up most of the night since he doesn’t need a lot of sleep but he does like watching you sleep. Myx and Eli want you out with them until late, enjoying the nightlife, and fall asleep about the same time as you. Ichiban has a habit of staying up late playing video games and it’s not too rare for him to come to bed after you’ve fallen asleep. William is hit or miss – sometimes he likes waiting for you to fall asleep, just enjoying the peacefulness of the moment with you and thinking how cute you look while sleeping while other times he passes out first.
