I painted an Indoraptor toy white. I wanted one since in early concept art there was supposed to be one, along with the black one we saw in the final version of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.

The toy was pretty banged up but I didn't notice until I had painted it white. The scratches all became scars, since the background on the white Indo wasn't the most happy.

I went with opposite colors, the black one I have has a gold/green stripe so I went with purple/red for this one, and his eyes are red so I went green for her.

I think she turned out pretty good!

indoraptor bitties!

Indoraptor: They are fast, strong, cunning, and can easily be malicious and sadistic if treated wrong, but protective(well, more overprotective-) when treated right, there are different breeds you can see below!

They do vary in color a lot but will always have a 'racing stripe' down the sides of their body of a much brighter or contrasting color! Black or white with gold stripes are the most common colors though,

Military breed: The first variant is the more aggressive and sadistic one, while other breeds become like this due to abuse these are born like this(and much worse) and take a lot of time(and precautions) to avoid death or torture by their hands, and even then they will often only respect/care about their owner, and will still take joy in tormenting other bitties, they are also much more aggressive when it comes to protecting the ones they care for, so they really arent for those with a weak stomach, many get them to listen via pain like with cattle prods and/or shock collars, they are all rescues due to the military breeding this variant, note that they are not only bred by the US military, as other militaries and labs that do inhuman experiments also breed this breed of Indoraptor, they tend to be bigger than other breeds,

The most common size is about the size in the movie or bigger

Companion breed: the second variant can be a massive sweetheart, they're bread more for companionship and are massive sweethearts, they are cuddly and often love taking naps in your lap! They do well with other bitties and often refuse to eat live, needing their food in a bowl or on a plate, and tend to not be to picky when it comes to food, but it's advised against feeding them kibble of any kind due to the lack of nutrition, though they rarely refuse to eat it, they protective of those they care about but will take the more passive way of just getting between those they care about and the threat if they can and only bite and claw if they feel like they have to

Guard breed: This bred is bread for strength and their extra protective nature, they are known for attacking anything/anyone they don’t know on sight, so it's very important to make sure they know when company is expected,

Service breed: This breed has extra sensitive hearing and sense of smell, and are often trained/used as seeing eye bitties or bitties to help with mobility, they can easily grab things and are incredibly smart so they are great for fetching anything their owner would need, they very a lot but are obedient and listen to just about any owner unless they are abusive,

Police breed: This breed is bred to be sort of similar to police dogs, they have extra sensitive smelling and are expert trackers, and their hearing is also heightened as well, making them very sensitive, they prefer working alone or with one or two other bitties at max with an owner, they will always respect their owner but after they bond with someone it is difficult to get them to bond with someone else, though having another indo around that listens to their owner seems to help a lot, with other dinos also helping but not as much as other indos, though if another bitty doesn’t listen to their owner it can make it harder to get them to listen to them,

They have to be retired to be owned by anyone,

My Thoughts on Jurassic World: Dominion & How Indi Fits in that Universe ;; 

Movie spoilers under the cut 

so, i know jw: dominion has received a lot of mixed reviews. while the consensus is that fans enjoyed seeing the original cast return to reprise their roles, they also view the locust plot as contrived. well, at least to me, i think that that is a natural progression of advanced genetic technology. 

they could use genetic reconstruction to bring extinct species back to life, and as charlotte lockwood proved, they could also use it to attack hereditary diseases at a genetic level. why not use that same power to breed super soldiers that have no legal rights and can be housed like animals because, well, they are? why not use that power to engineer a species of locust that eats every crop except your own? you would have complete economic and social control of the planet if you controlled the food supply like that. and given humanity’s history with greed, it just made sense to me. 

plus, it was AWESOME to see more historically accurate dinosaurs and dodgson from the original film as a villain. i can’t believe i get to live in a timeline where this is a thing. 

now, as far as indi and indo’s role in the timeline put forward by jw: dominion. 

the indominus rex as the world knew it died after the events of the first film. it was dragged to the bottom of the mosasaur enclosure and drowned. when her rib is retrieved and taken back to lockwood’s estate, the indoraptor is born. and so is the indominus rex, but in a form less difficult to control. building off of charlotte lockwood’s research, eli mills sanctioned the creation of a dinosaur-human hybrid. indi reborn. 

rather than making the mistake of keeping her in complete isolation, she was socialised by dr. wu and hired child psychologists and animal behaviorists. the human skin, however, still felt wrong. she felt drawn to their volatile indoraptor more than she did the humans behind constricting white walls. 

when she learned of eli mills’ plans to sell the animals, and her, as weapons of war, she joined the indoraptor in his rampage. 

he, too, is killed. he, too, is reborn at the remnants of ingen’s private security department. 

they escaped, and the two of them, the adam and eve of their species, continued to defend their kind. they regularly hunted down poachers and freed captured animals, until their encounter with the main coast when they, begrudgingly, assisted them in taking down biosyn.

The base genome was a utahraptor, although it also shared DNA with a plethora of other animals, such as deinosuchus, therizinosaurus, tree frog, amazon parrot, and human.

For Jet specifically, deinosuchus DNA can be seen in their snout and teeth, and osteoderms on their tail, and certain vocalizations; therizinosaurus DNA in their front claws and hands; utahraptor DNA in their hind claws and their size, although they stand taller than one; tree frog DNA in adaptability to Isla Nublar's environment and them being able to thermoregulate; amazon parrot DNA in intelligence and certain vocalizations; and human DNA in mental and emotional intelligence, as well physical appearance in their other form.

As a human, they're 5'4" tall, but as a Protoraptor, they're 8.16ft tall (at hip), and 20.45ft in length. Their eye color remains the same in both forms, although the whites of their eyes are visible as a human, and their scars remain the same as well (just minus the one on their tail), though only smaller on their human form. They wear their collar as an identifier if they were to go out in the field like intended to do, but now wears it out of habit and a strange sense of comfort than anything else. Would any ripper fans like me to ship blueyes together in a cute short story . As I feel like both have faced tragedies. Blueyes lost her baby and later her mates were killed by indy or hoshkins . She was also tested on by Dr wu to figure out why she was slightly smaller than those like rexy,juniors parents. While ripper suffered from abuse by Dr wu and Ellis mercenaries as seen in the auction scene.

So in a way two broken souls are trying to heal from their wounds. And see where they fit in the perilous world

but I will make it believable unlike stony . Sorry stony fans but steve and tony are not compatable. While ripper and blue eyes have chemistry both were tortured by Dr wu. Both have lost someone dear to them . Blueyes being her mate and daughter . While for ripper his sibling the white indoraptor .Both share similar DNA. While blueyes being a t rex but cloned with monitor lizard DNA. While ripper has raptor ,raptor ,trex DNA due to indy. Blueyes may help heal some of rippers truma .and in this story ripper will do the same.

Hello there ! Long time since I’ve post something here !

Here’s a little doodle page I did a few weeks ago featuring Mily and her boyfriend Yannou. She took him to a new dinosaur park called Jurassic Universe.

In my AU, after the events of Dominion, it was just too hard for the world to coexist with dinosaurs so Mily and Orion had an idea about bringing them in an empty world they ended up calling « Jurrasic Universe ».

Since I’m playing Jurassic world the game (it’s awesome btw) I imagined that the dinosaurs I have in the game were born in Jurassic Universe : there’s Ripper (the indoraptor in Fallen kingdom) and his sister Rona (because in the movie Ripper was suppose to have a white sibling so I imagined it’d be a female I called Rona). Then there are other dinosaurs OCs that I imagined from the game : Laby the labyrinthodont, Quetza the baby Quetzalcoatlus, Natsu the Natsuceratops and a little baby hybrid Hobbes the labyrinthosaurus.

Note : Ripper belongs to Universal studio.

Mily and Yannou belong to me.

Coucou ! Ça faisait un moment depuis que j’ai publié !

Voici une petite page de griffonnage datant de quelques semaines mettant en jeu Mily et son petit copain Yannou. Elle l’a emmené dans un nouveau parc à dinosaure appelé l’Univers Jurassique.

Dans mon Univers alternatif, après les événements Du Monde d’Après, le monde n’arrivait à coexister avec les dinosaures alors Mily et Orion eurent une idée : les emmener dans un monde vide qu’ils ont fini par appeler « Univers Jurassique ».

Vu que je joue à Jurassique world le jeu (qui est génial d’ailleurs) j’ai imaginé que les dinosaures que j’ai dans le jeu sont nés à l’Univers Jurassique : il y a Ripper (l’indoraptor dans Fallen kingdom) et sa sœur Rona (par ce que dans le film Ripper devait avoir un frère blanc alors j’ai imaginé que ce serait une femelle appelée Rona). Puis il y a d’autres dinosaures que j’ai imaginé du jeu : Laby le labyrinthodonte, Quetza le bébé Quetzalcoatlus, Natsu le Natsuceratops et un petit bébé hybride Hobbes le labyrinthosaure.

Early in preproduction of the film there was supposed to be a white Indoraptor as well. Black and the white one were supposed to have a fight where black one kills the white one. Some sketches I did for that.

hmm, little au idea since there aren’t that many jurassic park/world fans to talk about AU concepts with the dinosaurs themselves; AU where the mosasaur never jumps out from her pool, allowing Rexy and Blue to spare a mortally wounded Indominus Rex; and somehow, Rexy finds her a few nights later starving and unable to basically do anything a functioning predatory theropod should be able to do, Rexy sucks it up and teaches the white rex how to live the base of her genetic coding (1/2)

The Indominus rex surviving the movie could have been interesting, with her figuring out a niche among the island's animals and adjusting to living out of captivity like the rest of them. How her first day outside her enclosure ended would probably have made her more cautious about just running around sinking her teeth in everything that moves even after she recovers from her injuries (assuming they're not actually mortal wounds and she can recover), and now she wouldn't have humans chasing her while she's still getting her bearings. If she got to heal after the fight, perhaps she could have fitted into the island's weird, invasive species-ridden ecosystem about as well as any of the other JW animals.

Having some other competent predator help her while she recovers would definitely have increased her chances of survival, and I guess despite being the cause of a lot of her injuries, Rexy or Blue would be the most likely candidate considering they're the closest to being her conspecifics.

Blue might still see her as a fellow raptor like I think she did when they first met, and latch onto her as the only pack she has left even though the Indominus killed two of her sisters. Animals tend to not bear long-term grudges unless it serves a purpose of protecting oneself from further harm, so if Blue could be convinced the Indominus doesn't want to hurt her, after a period of being cautious around her she might just pick up from where they left off before the conflict.

While Blue is already of a very social species, in JP/W T. rexes have been mostly portrayed as solitary outside of a pair-bond and dependent offspring (whether or not this was the case in real life - for example dromaeosaurids may not actually have been pack animals or very social at all, so in this post I'll just stick to these animals' portrayal within this fictional universe, to be clear). For Rexy to help the Indominus would then probably require her seeing the rex hybrid as fitting into one of those two roles. Since courtship is probably not something either of them is in any shape to have among their priorities, I'll lean towards the adoption scenario.

Considering how Rexy and the Indominus met, Rexy is unlikely to think of her as being all smol and helpless, but of course being injured does make her more vulnerable. Maybe if the Indominus as a result shows some behaviors that Rexy instinctually associates with infant rexes, she might recategorize the Indominus as a big baby instead of a threat or potential prey (that last one could, after all, very well be the reason she's approaching the injured Indominus after the fight), and depending on how particular rexes are about a baby rex they encounter being their own offspring or not, might then start looking after her alongside healing her own injuries. How well that would go I don't know, but the Indominus is not fully the same species as Blue, either, so both relationships would probably have their occasional troubles with communication and such.

The Indoraptor could still end up being made even with the Indominus surviving, they'd just have to collect their DNA sample from a living animal instead.

I wonder what would have happened to the Indominus when the volcano started erupting, though, if she was still alive at the time - would anyone have actually wanted to rescue her like the other JW animals? The Dinosaur Protection Group people didn't know the animals would end up on the mainland and thought they'd just go to another remote island sanctuary, so it could have been an interesting choice to see them have to make. None of the other JW animals are part of today's nature, either; they're all genetically engineered "theme-park monsters" whose niches have long since been filled by other creatures that evolved together with the ecosystems they're part of - but is the Indominus a special level of unnatural, and would that mean she's not worth saving while the other unnatural animals are? Her creators would probably not want her back alive, either. I think as a mere DNA sample is how they prefer her, because she's already outlived her usefulness to them, and would be even more difficult to house than the Indoraptor prototype that by the auction had already become enough of a problem as well that he'd probably have just been euthanized right after they confirmed they have the means to make replacements, if all had gone to plan.

I do have some animals that weren't supposed to be saved from the island sneak aboard the ship and make it to the mainland anyway in the AU I've been drawing/writing, but the Indominus would probably not be able to do that, so unless some humans wanted to save her, I guess that would be the end for her, then.

...And now I'm struck with the mental image of her taking the Brachiosaurus' place in That Scene Everyone Cried At, and you know what, it probably could have been made to be just as sad. She is just an animal, after all, not a supervillain. Bonus for Claire having to see that, considering that even if the decision not to evacuate her was made by someone else, the Indominus existing in the first place as this creature nobody wants now is partially Claire's fault.

The thing about Jurassic Park is that I *like* Jurassic Park but not enough to get mad that it’s being spoiled by so many needless sequels. The sequels are needless, and the quality takes a nosedive, but I don’t feel that protective over a likeable, well-executed movie that still has a tang of preachiness, and characters I don’t dislike but wasn’t really interested in following 

More power to anyone who tries to re-imagine the crisis of JP as one of poor animal management and general cost-cutting instead of “Playing God” but I can’t see it that way, and the “Playing God” admonition has never sat well with me, so I don’t develop very strong feelings towards Jurassic Park.

So, if a goofy sequel comes along I enjoy the small pieces of it. I said before, I like Dr. Wu being reinvented as a mad scientist with pretensions of respectability who isn’t just another white dude. I like Dimorphodons even if they’re misread as T. Rex hybrids. I like going ham on sentimentalizing the dinosaurs such that I was disappointed by the loss of the Raptor Squad and enjoyed walking it back with Blue. They gave us Mosasaurs. The Indoraptor was stupid but cute.

They also gave us high heel gate and everything Crisp Rat and too much blue and grey and brown but, you know...
