Whump introduction!

I figured I was due for a blog introduction!

Welcome, call me J or Jay! I had this blog for quite some time, but it was dormant for most of its lifespan. Well, time for a change! I want to be more active in the community and I would love to show you some of the things I’m working on. :) 

I both write and draw, but you’re going to see me post my drawings more often than my drabbles because I don’t feel too confident in my writing yet. (but it’s getting better!)

As for the actual content, I have two main whump stories that I will be posting about, one of which I'm hoping to turn into a webcomic/book in the future. (hopeful thinking…) I also have several related AUs because I cannot be helped. 

If I were to describe my whump taste, I would say it’s for the impulsive, visceral and emotional. My focus is usually on realism, mutually abusive and obsessive relationships, love mixed with hatred, emotional torture, and so on! I love to write stories about toxic, doomed, all consuming love, where both parties make each other worse but cannot resist the pull of each other.

hello! my name is crep/loony and I use any pronouns!! i started this blog because i’ve been really interested in the whump community for some time (since like maybe October?). It pretty much has all my favorite elements of stuff all put into one genre loll. I don’t have any plans to start a writing series as of now, but that could change in the future! I have a ton of characters, but I mainly just use them for roleplaying (if you are interested in roleplaying with me i’m totally down to try it out and see how we mesh together!!!)

some fun facts about me: my favorite color is pink, i’ve been roleplaying for around 7 years (online for closer to 5), i love coming up with new characters and intertwining them with other people’s characters!!! it’s really fun to see how they interact with each other for me. it’s like how you played w barbie’s as a kid but infinitely better, for roleplaying i’ll be primarily using tumblr dms, but i do have a discord (not preferred), and roblox, i really love garfield, and i am autistic with my primary special interest being Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll!!!

Introduction

Hello! It's been a while since my last introduction, so I thought it's time for a new one.

You can call me Rizzo! I've changed my username from rizzamacka-whump to rizzoto-whump. I've been active in the whump community since 2021.

I really enjoy whump, and I don't have specific squicks or triggers. Here are some of my favorite tropes:

Physical whump: Torture, beating, biting, noncon—you name it. I just like to see Whumpee with blood and bruises on their skin.

Military whump: Whump with a military setting has a ton of potential. I like to see a pathetic Whumpee in uniform or the war criminal Whumper. In my own OC world, a Whumpee is accused of a coup d'état by the government, leading them to a labor camp.

Older Whumpee: Yes, yes, yes. Easier to hurt, and a fragile body, especially if they have a younger whumper with abundant stamina ready to hurt them.

Multiple Whumpers with a single Whumpee: Taking turns to torture—hmmm, so tasty.

Reverse power imbalance: I don't know why, but I love this trope so much. Something like a richer, older Whumpee paired with a poorer, younger whumper. Maybe this trope isn't very popular, I don't know, but I just enjoy it.

Hello, my name is Aspen, I’m 22 as the time this was posted but alas due to the relentless march of time that shall change. I do write but I probably won’t post on here too often. I’ve been a lurker for a few years now but I’ve decided I want to contribute a bit to this lovely community

Some whump tropes I’m a fan of are:

- held for ransom/used as bait. Any sort of transaction between two parties involving whumpee is always good shit

- kidnapping whump (restraints, blindfolds, gags, all of it. I eat that up)

- multiple whumpees/caretaker captive with whumpee

- torture whump, although it depends on what the torture entails. I don’t mind things such as beatings/whippings, drugging, or verbal/emotional components

- occasionally nsfwhump

Things I don’t do:

- heavy gore (eyes, stomach, or neck) or, it will only be implied/I won’t go into detail

- lady whump. Not my cup of tea, sorry. I simply prefer the guys suffering

You can call me Red. I first found whump on AO3 and got clued in to the community on tumblr. Long time lurker first time blog maker or something.

I’m still weeding out what whump I like and I’ve been enjoying the varied selection that exists on here. Learned what Bbu meant the other day and very excited for more of that.

Hey!! Just another anon lurker who decided to finally step out of the shadows. Probably a bit too awkward but that's a work under progress.

for some housekeeping notes: i don't ascribe to 'whumper/whumpee/caretaker' as Static Permanent Character Archetypes, they are merely convenient shorthand that describe situational roles within a particular scenario. also, i'm aromantic and extremely romance repulsed. posts reblogged about romantic dynamics are going to be few and far between and if i make posts, they are going to be in a non-romantic context. i am not interested in romantic shipping in any way. this is additionally not a kink blog and the characters i am drawn towards are not attraction based. this is an extremely strong boundary for me - i am liberal with the block button, especially when people forcibly insert sexual or romantic motivation into my creative work.

I think it’s time for an introduction.

Hi, I’m gonna call myself Dye for now (don’t think too much of it, I’m terrible with names) and use they/them pronouns.

I have been reblogging whump stuff for a while now, and recently also started to post my own thoughts. (Currently using the rambles tag for those) You can expect whump art in the future.

I have an ao3! It's Dye_Iguess and I write whump, currently for genshin, mha and one piece, but there'll probably be more when I get sucked into another fandom.

I like kidnapping and physical torture kinda whump, restraints and gags, but I’m not really a fan of sick fics. Also you’ll find little comfort here probably.

People I like are @knivestothroats, their in the woods somewhere series was the first real whump story I read (it’s absolutely amazing, I think it put my standards up), @suspicious-whumping-egg was one of the first whump blogs I followed, currently in love with their low profile series, @silversanimewhump has absolutely gorgeous whump gifs and convinced me to watch some really good animes and @freshbloodmoney makes absolutely gorgeous art. I probably forgot to mention many people but yeah there are really talented people here it’s great.

Hello Whump Community I guess I'm making this my awkward Introduction(ish).

My alias is Vex, I am Female (she/her) and am over the age of 18. (29 to be exact.) I enjoy all artistic expression; writing, photography, mood boards, drawing, poetry, ect.

My favorite season is Fall (Spooky month!) And my preferred weather would be overcast with a breeze.

OC Introduction: Captain Ronald van den Berg

I have a ton of Whumpers, but Ronald holds a special place in my heart. He's an infantry Captain, a 21-year-old man born in Utrecht, The Netherlands, to a Dutch father and Serbian mother. He's a war criminal, a sadistic bastard who takes pleasure in torturing people, especially POWs.

He's a tall man, standing at 195 cm, with a muscular build. He has tan skin, bright blue eyes, and curly brown hair that's often styled into an undercut.

As a whumper, he relishes in inflicting physical trauma on his victims, often through brutal force that leaves lasting scars. He frequently conducts interrogations and oversees prisons to torment POWs.

Ronald is a war criminal who blatantly disregards the Geneva Conventions. Starving populations, massacring entire villages for minor infractions, and kidnapping people are all too common occurrences in Ronald's life. Those who fall into his hands as POWs rarely emerge unscathed, often enduring permanent damage or worse.

In the end, even after the war ended, he still craved the sense of power over someone. That's why he kidnapped James and kept him imprisoned in his house.
