Interview With a Writer

Here is part 2 of my tentative series Interview With a Writer! If you want, you can read part 1 about the wonderful and talented bittersweetarts ♥ Just a BTS of some of the talented minds on Tumblr and ao3!

So, when did you start writing?

I started writing when I was quite young, around 2004-2005. At the time we were small communities, writing fanfiction and posting them on forums. It feels like a lifetime ago now… I feel old 👵🏻💀

Where did the plot for Love is a Downfall come from?

I saw a fanvid of Aemond and Visenya, if she had lived. The images used were of Freya Allan as Cirilla in the Witcher, and they also used some lines from this show to suggest Aemond and Visenya were somehow fated to each other and I fell in love with that idea.

In the video that idea was used to have her bound to Aemond, in a romantic way. I thought it was very fitting and an interesting idea to explore. I decided to tweak the timeline a bit as I didn't want a big age gap between the two.

What inspired your OC creation?

I wanted her to be strong and intelligent, with a vulnerable side as well. She’s the daughter of Daemon and Rhaenyra, and I tried to imagine how a girl raised by these two would grow up to be. She gets their qualities as much as their faults. Also, she was born in quite a tense family situation and I wanted to explore how that would shape her.

Why do you think your OC compliments Aemond so well?

I think she compliments him because they share the same core values. They are both driven and dutiful, and they both share a passion for Targaryen ways. But also, they have both been made vulnerable by the same event (Aemond losing his eye, and Visenya carrying the burden of that night despite herself), and they understand each other. They’re both outsiders in their own families, in a way.

Explain your interpretation of Aemond Targaryen. What drives him? Why is he the way he is in LIAD?

He was wronged, and even though his first intention is to seek revenge, deep down what he wants more than anything is to be seen and to belong. And Visenya sees him for who he is, she’s not blind to his flaws and she loves him anyway. When they are betrothed he sees it as a real chance to build his own family and to be recognized.

Was there another character in your story you enjoyed writing about? Why?

I loved writing Daemon, and the relationship he has with his daughter. He sees himself in her, in the way she pursues Aemond in the same way he tried to pursue Rhaenyra when she was young. I find him to be a fascinating character to write, as he’s morally gray and unpredictable. I also really loved writing Cregan Stark for some reason!

Will there be a sequel?

I have already posted two one-shots, and I am working on a bigger sequel focusing on Aemond and Visenya’s children as they grow up, and their relationship with each parent (and also a tiny bit of political headaches because I can’t help myself…)

I'm still watching the whole show, but WOW this season is somehow worse than S2

The script is a godsdamn mess. The production value is dismal. The editing is super weird.

I'm not mad about the things most of the people are (not following the books etc) but I am disappointed in how badly this adaptation has been done as far as the quality of the content. It's really bad.

There have been a few bright points but not enough to prop up even a teeny bit of the episode let alone the season.

Just going to muddle through it.

Specific spoilery call outs for episode.... 4? below the cut

WHAT in the effing hell was that scene of Ciri escaping the Wild Hunt?! It was painfully clear Freya Allan was sitting on some kind of fake fur covered mechanical thing that bounced her around. It was absolutely comical. Not only did the weird camera angles used to try and cover that up do the exact opposite, but the scenes where you could see the "horse" it was very clearly a fake animal. Even in the non zoomed in shots it looked like two people in a horse costume.

(may Melitele strike me dead if I'm wrong about the fake horse)

Fake horse aside, it was so brief and underwhelming. They're supposed to be absolutely terrifying, but the scene was so short and so disarmed by the stupid horse head that it had zero tension and no impact. And then Geralt is just magically there, and blasts them with one shot of Ard and they fuck off? WHAT. WHAAAAT? it took more effort to slay much lesser beasts. Dumb.

And while we're on the subject, the way they employ the monsters is so completely random and senseless. They all look the same, and they all look like cheap rubber halloween decorations. I decided to be extremely generous and went with "this had to be a deliberate nod to The Hexer", but boy was it a tenuous grip.

Triss not telling Yen exactly why Ciri shouldn't show up to Aretuza was absolutely stupid sitcom logic of not telling someone everything because.... it would wrap everything up and there wouldn't be the need for the rest of the episode. Super fucking lazy writing. (sorry i'm to sleepy to dig up the trope name at the moment)

I'm just going to pretend the only scene of Jaskier and Radovid started when Radovid started playing the lute. Because everything in that scene before that moment was nonsense. That line about being brave?!

Though I did absolutely love the "I can't take you inside" "then take me here"

that was like kicky feet squeek levels of good.

Geralt's wig went back to being terrible if not worse. Hair does not grow that way. It is incredibly distracting.

I do LOVE Yen's long culotte pants though. But her shoes are horrid. Her tops..... are bad. That dress for the conclave party is ugly as fuck.

there's so much more to rant about but it's 3 AM and now I go to bed.

Hang on because I'm about to explain eyebrows to you

This is in response to all the posts about weird eyebrows and wigs in season 2. I'm not by any means an expert, but I have had an interest in hair and makeup for films / tv for years now.

Starting with eyebrows

What happened to Ciri's eyebrows? This is the number one complaint I've seen about season 2 (with the occasional question about other character's eyebrows as well). The answer is very simple: Freya Allan refused to bleach them anymore and her natural eyebrows are not white blonde.

Why would an actor not want to bleach their eyebrows?

It's extremely damaging and can make your eyebrows fall out completely if done too much / too often.

It's a lot of upkeep.

They want to continue having their real eyebrows in real life.

They have other filming commitments.

What are the alternatives for changing eyebrow color?

Like with regular hair, there are very few (or no) options for going much lighter without bleach. You can dye eyebrows darker if need be (but the same reasons for not bleaching apply to not dyeing). Using makeup you can tint eyebrows different colors, but you will generally still be able to see the hairs themselves. You can usually only do a few shades difference before it starts to look weird - so for example you can use a darker pencil / shadow / etc to make brown brows look black but you can't use a blonde pencil to make dark brown brows look blonde.

There are some makeup techniques that completely cover up your existing brows. You can glue them down and cover them with foundation and then draw or glue new brows over the top. Prosthetics also exist. These techniques are generally not used just to change brow color because they're very time-consuming on a daily basis.

Now let's talk wigs

I'm also going to take advantage of this post to explain a little bit about why wigs are used for historical and fantasy shows:

Bleaching and dyeing hair can be damaging and needs to be done regularly as hair grows. It can also be difficult to re-dye over certain colors, so it's not always practical when an actor has other filming commitments.

Wigs are the easiest way to add length to hair; they can be taken off at the end of the day so the actor doesn't have to worry about taking care of them the way they would need to for extensions.

Wigs are easier to style and can be styled once and touched up as needed. This is particularly useful when you have very elaborate hairstyles (think all those braids Daenerys wore in Game of Thrones). Also for deliberately dirty hair - the wig can be styled once and left that way instead of "re-dirtying" the actor's hair daily.

Consistency - the wig stays the same color and length throughout the duration of filming.

Wigs allow the actor to continue to keep their preferred hair color and style in real life throughout filming.

Now some actors definitely do dye, bleach, cut or grow their hair as needed for a role. It ultimately comes down to the individual actor and vision for a film or show.

henrycavill well the cats out of the bag... not the way we intended to tell you guys which is a shame. We are very sad that this is the way you all had to find out. With both of our jobs being very demanding (we love them nonetheless and are very grateful) we don’t often get to spend time with each other so wanted some time just to ourselves, we wanted to share this amazing relationship with all of our fans when were ready but unfortunately that opportunity was taken from us. We hope you can understand: you all are very important to the both of us and we truly did want to share this with you, but both got a bit too caught up with having each other to ourselves. These photos were taken by one of our mutual friends whilst we were on holiday and were leaked from our phones. A/N: Hi angel! Thank you for your request. I think I’m not so good with angst, but I really tried to do my best. Hope you like it ✨

Pairing: Henry Cavill x reader

Length: 1458

Warnings: angst

The rain falling that day was no joke and got you unprepared at all. Arriving at your office wet soaking was the more laborious thing you did in months, surprisingly there wasn’t a lot of work to do, just the normal amount of papers and scouldings from your pain-in-the-ass-boss.

Being an independent woman has it’s rollercoasters sometime, you were used to it.

The Witcher promotions started already, and you could not count on Henry for the weeks to come, and to be honest, being near to him these days were giving you a really weird feeling. You didn’t know if it was because of the long time he spent shooting the series that could’ve destabilized the relationship you two had. He have seen beautiful places in the world, met amazing people and had the company of two gorgeous women.

That definitely wasn’t your common way of living life, more of a empty stomach all day because the caffeine had you without appetite or a long bath in almost scalding water because of your back pain, not so glamorous.

Henry was the renovation of your life when he got in, giving you a motive to laugh and would prepare a warm and delicious meal to heal your stomach and give you strength to overcome the back pain, as well massages or what he could do to help. When he left to do his work, you always felt like there was a hole in your life, something missing, so you had to adjust to your transient situation, ordering food when you got home because you had no vitality left to cook a proper homemade meal.

The insecurity you felt was gaining great proportions, and you knew it when you felt afraid of watching The Witcher. You knew that your heart would ache to see Henry having so much chemistry with Anya. Yeah, it was a silly thing to feel, but you could not help. How could you? You were the average woman that had no time to workout, that had no time to go to saloon to do your hair, the average woman that looked nothing like a model like figure.

And the worst was to come, because in promotions the actors were all interacting with each other, and the fans would make assumptions of what was happening, was that a friendship? Or are they dating? They don’t really know.

You couldn’t blame anyone for your insecurities, Henry never gave you reasons for that, Anya was only making her job, and afterwards the decision of not to be showed off as his girlfriend was yours, not his.

You were happy for the success that The Witcher is making, of course, and proud of your man. Henry was just so… Too much to you. He’s handsome, talented, made awesome movies and you were just you. The bland and plain you.

“Hello?” you said after answering the phone in your office.

“Hello, babe. It’s Henry.” his voice was soft, and you could see his smile in your mind.

“Oh, hi babe.” you lowered your voice. “I wasn’t expecting you to call.”

“Yeah, neither I.” he laughed. “How is your day?”

“Do you want the standard answer or the real one?”

“The real one, give it to me.”

“I’m feeling helplessly bad today, the rain started pouring and I arrived the office soaking wet. I’m tired, you know that.” you sighed, trying to not cry on the go.

“I’m so sorry to hear that, babe. I’m sorry that I can’t be with you right now.”

You laughed in self consolation. “That’s ok, Henry. Why would you want to.” you snapped when realized what you had said. Oh no.

“What? Babe, what are you saying?” his voice was now really full of worry and you could feel it.

“I don’t know, Henry. I’m sorry.” you took a break. “You are so happy with your job, you have two beautiful women by your side, your fans... I don’t want to ruin your mood with my usual bullshit.”

“y/n, don’t say it. I-”

“That’s okay, babe. I’m okay.” you interrupted him. “I have a lot of work to do right now. I’m sorry.” you hung up the call.

“Shit.” you whisper to yourself feeling guilty. Why you said those thing? He don’t even said something to bad or rude, he actually asked how was your day going.

That’s cool, you thought. You were feeling guilty, left out and sad. The best combination for a tough day.

“Hey, have you seen The Witcher?” your closest co-worker said bringing her chair near you, so she would be able to speak in a lower tone. It’ sarcastically and tragic funny how when you don’t want to talk about something, this is the only thing people around you could talk about. The success was undeniable.

“Hm. Yes! I have.” you said clearly lying.

“And had you watched that Comic-con’s interview with Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra?” They are fricking awesome.” she said so excited you had to fake a smile.

“Actually, no. How was that?” obviously you wouldn’t watch those interviews, that will not make you feel better at all.

“The chemistry! Ugh. The way they smile to each other, specially Henry and Anya.” she made a pause to take your clipper. “They are really good looking too. I don’t know what’s happening there, but if a couple forms, they will be a hell of a gorgeous couple.”

“Wow.” you said faking a good reaction.

While you were opening the door, you could hear you favourite album of your favourite band playing in a volume not so low and not so high, and the smell of food made your poor stomach ache with hungry. Henry was home, his presence is so overpowering that you actually didn’t had to see him to feel him.

When you were taking of your heels, he appeared, with impeccable figure, casual clothes, just his perfect self. Your first thought was more like a self conscious thought of how you were looking right now, you had no idea, and that made you shrink with all your insecurities coming to you all the same time. You were crying and didn’t even realized when it started, all you did was to cover you face your hands ashamed of the scene you were making.

Henry got shocked and hurried to embrace you in a tight hug. “Hey, what happened?” he asked kind of scared. “Hey, babe. Look at me, please.” the tone he used was almost begging, so you just took you hands away and looked to him, with a vision blurred. “Ok, that’s good. Now say what is making you cry.”

“It’s idiotic.” you took a deep breath and blew expiration, trying to recover. “You don’t need to hear my bullshit.”

“No, no, no. I need and I want to hear.” his hand were making a light caress in your back, just like it’s done when a baby just finished to eat.

“I’m insecure, ok?” you looked away. “I’m just a normal woman, I have no special treats like the women you are surrounded by. The way you and Anya get well along and stuff.” you could feel the tears falling down again. “I’m holding your life back, I know, I’m not enough to you, I will never be…” you were crying again, you felt so stupid for feeling like this.

“Oh, y/n, babe.” you felt his hand on the side of you face. “Don’t cry, I beg you, it hurts to my core.” he said kissing your forehead. “I’m sorry I didn’t realize how you were feeling, I’m sorry.” he said looking to you watering eyes. “How could you say that? Not enough? You are enough, you are who I love, who I want to spend my life with.” now he was wiping your tears with his thumbs. “Anya… it’s just a co-worker, a friend, yes we get along well, but it’s our work. You, y/n, are my babe, my lover.”

“You're sure?” you said sobbing a little, looking for a signal of falsehood in his face only finding pure love and worry.

“Yes, I am. Do you want to know a funny thing?” He said with a kind smile. “I’m insecure too. You think that leaving you here alone it’s easy to me? I always have to deal with the feeling that I’m not enough to you.” he said and hugged you tight again. “I guess we need to speak more, holding things back it’s not good.”

“Totally.” you said felling a relieve so great and needed that you never know you needed. “I’m sorry for not seeing your side.”

“That’s okay.” he laughed a bit. “Can I have a kiss now?”

The Witcher

So I’ve watched the first season of the Witcher on Netflix and all I can say is holy motherfucking shit. That was a good season.

I wanted to jot down a few things that I liked about the season, bearing in mind that I haven’t yet read the books and have only played the Witcher 2 and 3. I will be using spoilers so consider this a spoiler warning.

(Also this will be a long post)

Henry Cavill

When Henry was announced I gotta admit I had some doubts over the casting. Not because I don’t rate him as an actor but I just couldn't picture him as Geralt. My personal pick was Zach McGowan, known for playing Charles Vane in Black Sails. He had the gruff voice, he looked like the game version of Geralt, and he even had similar hair. Just dye it white and he was good.

But having seen the show... I recant every syllable of my foolishness.

Henry Cavill is perfect as Geralt. He perfectly embodies the White Wolf. From his sarcastic sense of humour, to the subtle emotion on his face to the conflict he has while making the decisions he does. Absolutely perfect casting.

Anya Chalotra

Speaking of perfect casting, Anya is an incredible Yennefer of Vengerberg. Like Henry she perfectly embodies Yennefer. Anya plays the evolution of Yen superbly, from her beaten down and almost broken early days to the immensely powerful and confident sorceress she becomes later, she performs both absolutely perfectly.

And to all those who say that Anya is wrong to play Yennefer because she doesn’t “look like her”.... I cannot say shut the hell up loud enough. She was incredible and deserves all the accolades that should be sent her way.

Freya Allan

And rounding out the three main characters, the show is three for three in terms of perfect casting. I loved her independent and driven nature, continuing to keep going on despite all the trouble going her way despite only been about 11 or 12 (i think, not 100%). Her strong bond with both Queen Calanthe and Mousesack is evident, despite the relative lack of screentime devoted to it. I can’t wait to see how both the character and actress evolves over the (hopefully) seasons to come.

Geralt and Ciri

I loved the “the girl in the woods will be with you always” transition in the first episode, that eventually came full circle in the finale with the two finally meeting (with the run and hug scene!). Having seen their bond fully established in the games (I know they aren’t canon) I cant wait to see it develop on screen

Queen Calanthe

Is a badass. End of story. Ruling a kingdom, fighting at the front of every battle, effectively flipping off destiny and law of Surprise and being an incredible role model for Ciri. Absolute awesome character and Jodhi May did such an incredible job playing her.

Yennefer’s backstory

As a game only fan in terms of knowing much about the characters when I went into this season, my knowledge of Yen’s backstory was pretty much nonexistent, as I can’t remember it even being mentioned in the two games I played (of which Yen was only physically present for one). However, the show delved deep into it, and I’m glad they did. It simultaneously made us empathise fully with Yennefer but also established the basis for her desire to grow stronger and be in control of her own destiny and future, and why she was then so frustrated being in the mire of courtly intrigue, not able to grow higher.

The Yennefer and Tissaia dynamic

One of the most unexpected but welcome events of the show was the dynamic that they two shared. It was not the typical mentor and apprentice relationship and I appreciated the change from the norm. From Tissaia’s initial attempts to bring Yennefer to heel before eventually being the one to tell Yennefer to unleash her chaos during the battle at Sodden was great.

The striga episode

I mean..... just wow. As soon as they mentioned Temeria I had a feeling that it would be the striga, as it was one of the few things that I knew about from the books. And holy shit they did not disappoint. From the investigation aspect, to the fight scene, to the music. It was incredible episode and one that I cannot wait to get back to when I re-watch the series

Battle of Sodden

The main focus of the incredible finale. I had heard of the Battle of Sodden during the games but to see it was something else. A great battle scene combined great fights, solid battle plans and incredibly cool magical skills. And also,during the night scenes, you could actually see what the fuck was happening. See GoT! It isn't hard!!

Vilgevortz

As soon as his name was revealed in the episode, I’m not gonna lie but i may have gone full fanboy. I know a little from what was mentioned in the books and have read a little from other sources about his story in the books and was immensely excited when he showed up. And I cannot wait to see his story unfold on the show and see him interact more with Yennefer and meet Geralt and Ciri.

Jaskier

From what I know, calling him Jaskier (his original name in the Polish stories) instead of the English name of Dandelion was one of the problems people had with the show. And I have to ask... does it really matter? He still acts like him, talks like him, annoys Geralt like him. He is the same character, the showrunners are just honouring his roots.

And he brought some comic relief to the series in just the right ways, especially in the djinn and dragon hunt episodes. Joey Batey was great.

Music and Cinematography

Both of them were absolutely fantastic. Every episode looked and sounded phenomenal. I’ve been listening to a few tracks from the soundtrack that have made it onto YouTube on repeat for a while, most notably “Toss a Coin to your Witcher”. However, one track that I really liked but haven't been able to find is the battle theme from the striga fight. If anyone could send me a link to it, I would be incredibly grateful

Fight choreography

All of the fights this season were absolutely fantastic. Both the human fights and the monster battles. Geralt and Duny vs the Cintrian soldiers, Vilgevortz vs Cahir and (my personal favourites) Geralt vs Renfri and her gang from episode 1. All of them superb and I couldn't have asked for more from the fight scenes.

Magic

I really like the magic system they set up in this series. Not only is it incredibly diverse (with the finale alone showing us Vilgevortz constantly creating swords, Triss making poison mushrooms grow beneath the feet of the army and Coral wiping out a whole section of the Nilgaardian army) but I really like the idea that it isn't just them tapping into a great power, that there can be a great cost to performing these spells. Not something that a lot of fantasy series do.

Cahir

He was a great antagonist throughout the season and again I know little in specifics about him but I know that he is important to Ciri’s story, so I am looking forward to seeing that develop further.

Geralt and Visenna

I loved the scene of the two of them in the finale, even if it proved to only be a dream/hallucination. The “How do you like my eyes?” line legit gave me chills. Incredible acting by Henry there

Geralt and Yennefer (Yenneralt?, I think certain parts of the fandom have settled upon)

Now, as a game only fan prior to this, my exposure to the relationship between the two of them was limited, as the games only touched upon it in the Witcher 3. Before then it was told that Geralt and Yennefer had an epic love but it was very much tell and don’t show, as Yennefer didn't appear in person until the Witcher 3 and by then CDPR had developed the Geralt and Triss romance story in the Witcher 2. And I’m not gonna lie, I was fully into their romance during my playthroughs. Not that I didn't like Yennefer but I just didn't have the same basis into their bond that the book fans did.

After Season 1, however, I am fully onto the Geralt and Yennefer ship, having seen it develop as it did.

Methinks it may be time for another playthrough, as well as buying the books.

Male Reader x Freya Allan

Request - Sure, but for Freya Allan story. Male is a 20 year old newcoming actor that got his first audition role in Witcher, there he met one of the leading actress Freya Allan while working in the set. They flirtatiously began dating, and even shared a house and a dog. Freya lost her virginity to Male Reader, and they eloped the following year in Las Vegas. Now, they are expecting a child, and Freya gave birth to a baby boy, and Male Reader started a production company.

Y/n can't stop smiling because he got the role to be a regular on The Witcher. He has on his suit and he is feeling very excited to work with the cast.

“Wow, Y/n I almost didn't recognize you,” Freya said.

“The suit is a little heavy but it does look cool” Y/n smiled.

“It does and you look handsome,” Freya said.

He couldn't help to smile when she called him handsome.

“Thank you, Freya,” Y/n said.

“Hey Y/n, are you doing anything later tonight?” Henry asked.

“Nope, I should be free. Why?” Y/n said.

“The cast is going out tonight to have a good time and you should come,” Henry said.

“Yeah, sure I will tag along,” Y/n said.

Freya is happy that he will go out with the cast. Henry noticed that Y/n and Freya can't stop smiling at each other.

“Everyone on set!” Alik yelled.

Everyone gets into character, and Y/n and Henry start to fight the monster then fake blood/slime got on them. Y/n started to run towards Freya but he slipped and fell...

“Freya, we have to go now either you come with me or I will drag you...”

Freya started to laugh also Henry, and Anaya laughed.

“Her name is Ciri” Anaya laughed.

“Crap” Y/n giggled.

He is still laying on the ground. Henry and Anaya try to get Y/n to stand up, but he is covered in slime and it's hard for him to stand still.

“Princess Ciri,” Y/n said.

“Yeah, not Freya” Freya giggled.

Everyone had to do the scene again, and no one messed up. Y/n and Freya did a few scenes together now it's time for a break. Some slime is still on Y/n. But he went to get lunch for him and Freya.

“This is sweet, Y/n thank you for lunch,” Freya said.

“I figured you would be hungry and we can have lunch together,” Y/n said.

She smiled and they sit next to each other. They start to talk about each other’s interests and how they got into acting etc.

Y/n met the others at the bar. He sits across from Freya and Anya is sitting next to him. They start to order drinks and food and they start to get to know each other. A fan asked for Y/n’s autograph and a picture.

“How does it feel strangers asking for a picture?” Freya asked.

“It feels strange but cool at the same time if that makes sense” Y/n smiled.

“I felt like that when it first happened to me. Long the way, you would get used to it” Henry said.

A bit later, Y/n convinced Freya to do karaoke and they start to sing Don't You Want Me by the band Human League. They are having fun on stage, they did song one more song then they got off stage.

Freya and Y/n are left alone at the table. They keep talking to each other, she doesn't stop smiling at him. She is feeling a little tipsy and he is making her laugh.

“I never did karaoke before. It was fun” Freya said.

“Would you do it again?” Y/n asked.

“Maybe, not sure. So... Y/n are you dating anyone?” Freya said.

He shakes his head “I was dating someone, but she cheated on me and I broke it off. I moved on and I'm ready to date someone else. What about you?”

“I have been single for a year. I went on dates but not many caught my interest” Freya said.

Much later, Henry and Anya went home but Freya is drunk. Y/n doesn't know where she is staying, instead, he takes her home. He put his arm around her waist to help her walk straight, then she starts to giggle. Y/n opened the door and she almost fell but he caught her on time. He takes her to the bedroom and starts to take off her heels.

“Y/n, I'm tired” Freya mumbles.

“Okay, you can sleep in my bed and I sleep on the couch,” Y/n said.

She said something else but he didn't understand what she said. He just covers her with the blanket and left the bedroom, he lies on the couch.

The next day... Freya wakes up and she doesn't recognize the room. She has a bad headache, she gets out of bed. Y/n and Freya got scared and his heart is racing. He was coming out of the bathroom

“Oh, it's you, Y/n. Is this your place?” Freya said.

“You scared me. Yeah, this is my place. You got drunk and I didn't know where you live, so I let you sleep in my bed, and I slept on the couch” Y/n said.

“Thank you, Y/n for taking care of me,” Freya said.

“You're welcome. Are you hungry? I can cook breakfast” Y/n said.

“I didn't know you can cook and yeah I am hungry. And I have a bad headache” Freya said.

She followed him to the kitchen. She watches him cook an omelet with toast, she is impressed. She likes Y/n even more than she takes a bite of the omelet.

“Wow, Y/n this taste so good!” Freya smiled.

“Thank you. If you want another let me know” Y/n said.

“I would like another one” Freya smiled.

They smile at each other. He starts to make another one and she starts to drink the orange juice.

Y/n and Freya have been a lot of time together. Some fans ship his character and Freya’s character together. They appear together while doing interviews and take selfies together. There have been rumors about them dating but they never confirmed it.

They are on the set of the witcher.

“Freya, do you want to on a date with me?” Y/n asked.

“Yes, I would love to go on a date with you” Freya smiled.

“Awesome” Y/n smiled.

Freya and Y/n just had sex for the first time. They are lying on their sides and looking at each other.

“At first when we started to date, I thought the relationship wasn't going to be serious,” Freya said.

“I did mean it when I said I wanted to get to know you. I wasn't after you just to have sex” Y/n said.

“Maybe, we should move in together,” Freya said.

“I think we should. I'm always at your place most of the time” Y/n said

“We should look at houses instead of condos,” Freya said.

“We could do that” Y/n smiled.

“I love you, Y/n” Freya smiled.

Y/n gave her a peck on the lips.

“Love you too, babe” Y/n said.

They get out of bed and they take a shower together. They start to get dressed and Freya is wearing one of Y/n’s shirts and they go to a restaurant. They took pictures with some fans.

“Do you want to go to England and... And maybe meet my family?” Freya said.

“Really?” Y/n asked and takes a sip of his drink.

“If you want to, Y/n,” Freya said.

“Can we do it at the end of the month? I have to film for a short film in Belgium, I have like two scenes but it's something” Y/n said.

“Oh, that's right the movie you told me about. I forgot you got the role” Freya said.

“I have never been to Belgium, I can't wait to go,” Y/n said.

Again, they did take pictures with fans.

Freya and Y/n went to a fashion show in Italy. They are having fun and talking to other people.

“You don't want the champagne?” Y/n asked.

“No, I'm not thirsty. Do you think they have club soda?” Freya said.

“Club soda?” Y/n asked.

Freya walked away and headed to the bathroom. Y/n starts to follow her but doesn't go inside the women's bathroom. He waits outside and ten minutes later she comes out.

“Sorry, about that. I'm just not feeling good” Freya said.

“We can go back to the hotel. Maybe we should go to the pharmacy and get something for you” Y/n said.

“I want to be in bed and you cuddle with me,” Freya said.

Y/n takes off his blazer and puts it around her. They leave the party and he bought medicine for her. Back at the hotel, Freya changed into her pajamas and she has on Y/n’s hoodie. Then he cuddles with Freya in bed, before falling asleep she ran to the bathroom and starts to throw up. Five minutes later, she lies with Y/n.

Time Skip~

Freya and Y/n have been looking at houses, it took a while to find the right one. They are in the living room unpacking the boxes.

“That was my favorite shirt,” Y/n said.

“Now it's mine. We still have more boxes to unpack. I knew we had a lot of stuff but not this much” Freya said.

“Right! You should do it, I'm going to lay on the couch” Y/n said.

He lies on the couch and she throws a pillow at his face.

“Get to work” Freya demands.

“Wow, that's rude,” Y/n said.

Freya rolled her eyes at him. A few weeks ago, Y/n convicted Freya to get a dog and it happened. Freya loves Ace and she loves to spoil him. Freya ordered pizza and Y/n is taking pictures of Ace.

“That's a cute picture,” Freya said.

“I have so many pictures of you and Ace on my phone” Y/n smiled.

Later, they start to eat pizza and Ace tries to eat their food.

It's the middle of the night, and Y/n wakes up and noticed that Freya isn't in bed. He grabbed his phone and it was almost four in the morning. But he noticed the light from the bathroom is on and he gets out of bed.

“Babe?” Y/n said.

“I’m fine,” Freya said.

“It sounded like you were crying. Are you okay?” Y/n said.

She opened the door and her eyes are red.

“Y/n, I'm pregnant,” Freya said.

“I can't tell if you are sad or happy,” Y/n said.

“Actually, I'm in shock. I knew about it a week ago but it took me a while to accept it. Sorry, I didn't tell you” Freya said.

“I’m not mad. I'm in shock and happy at the same time” Y/n said.

He gently wrapped his arms around her ad she hugs him back. He kissed her head and gently rub her back.

“We are going to be parents,” Freya said.

“Yeah, we are,” Y/n said.

Freya and Y/n only told their family about the pregnancy. They want to keep it out of the media for a while. Y/n did ask Freya to marry him and she said yes. But planning for a wedding it's a lot of pressure...

“Y/n, this too much to plan a wedding” Freya sighed.

Y/n and Freya went to walk Ace.

“Yeah, it's hard and a lot of money. Maybe, let's go to Las Vegas” Y/n said.

“Las Vegas?” Freya asked.

“I love you, and I will marry you anywhere in the world and I don't care what we will wear. I want to be with you forever” Y/n said.

She smiled and kissed him on the lips.

“I love you too. Okay, Y/n let's do it let's go to las Vegas” Freya said.

They start to smile and he hugged her.

They didn't tell anyone about the trip to Las Vegas. They are feeling excited and they got married by an Elvis impersonator.

“Wow, I can't believe we actually got married!” Freya said.

“You better believe it, babe” Y/n said.

He kissed her and they can't stop looking at the rings on their hands. They took selfies together. Later, they went to get something to eat

“You, know our family won't be happy that we eloped,” Freya said.

“I know. And your dad will want to kill me. But they will get over it once the baby is born because parents love babies” Y/n said.

“Good point. Do you want to play slot machines? I never played it before, I want to try it” Freya said.

“Yeah, let's go play,” Y/n said.

They start to play different kinds of slot machines, but they lost every game. But they are having fun playing together

“Babe, I won ten dollars,” Freya said.

“Well, I lost ten dollars,” Y/n said.

“I think you lost more than that. Let's buy souvenirs, I saw something cute at the gift shop” Freya said.

“Sure. Maybe I will buy new shirts because you keep taking mine and using them to sleep with” Y/n said.

“Don’t be a baby, Y/n” Freya said.

“Rude,” Y/n said.

Freya laughed. They are at the gift shop, Freya saw a baby onesie and she had to get it. Y/n got a teddy bear for the baby and then start to talk about names. Later, they go back to the hotel and they make love to each other. Later, Freya comes out of the bathroom with a robe on, and Y/n orders room service.

Months later... Now they are decorating the nursery room.

“I don't like the color,” Freya said.

“Babe, we changed the color three times and colored the wall three times. Do you know how hard it is to change colors on the wall” Y/n sighed.

“I saw you do it. But I just don't like it. Let's take a break and relax for a bit” Freya said.

Her stomach has gotten a little bigger. She gently grabbed his hand and he felt the baby kick for the first time.

“Did you feel that?” Freya asked.

“Wow! He kicked!” Y/n smiled big.

They sit on the couch and he starts to massage her feet. He is listening to her talk about the new color for the wall.

Time Skip>

It's Halloween... Freya gave birth to a baby boy and he is four months old. They are happy to spend their first Halloween as a family.

“Sorry, I'm late. The meeting ran long about the budget of the movie” Y/n said.

“Are you going to promote the movie?” Freya asked.

“Yeah, we agreed. I think the movie will do great in theaters” Y/n said.

“You seem happy running your production,” Freya said.

“I do like it. And I have a say on which movies or shows to do” Y/n smiled.

“I got the role!” Freya smiled.

Y/n hugged her and start to kiss her.

“That is awesome, babe!” Y/n said.

“But, I will have to be away for a few months. And you know, I don't like being away from him and you” Freya said

Before giving birth Freya stopped acting for months, and she is ready to act again. Y/n agreed to be a stay home dad while she is acting. And Y/n started a movie production with a close friend and there will be days, he is at the office for long hours.

“Maybe, we can rent a place in Spain until I finish doing the movie?” Freya said.

“We can do that. I will ask George to take over while we are in Spain. And he will need a passport” Y/n said.

“You are the best, Y/n,” Freya said.

She wrapped her arms around him and start to kiss him.

Y/n picked up his son and start to make funny faces, the baby starts to giggle. Then Freya helped Y/n put on the cookie monster on the baby.

“He is so cute” Freya smiled.

She grabbed her phone and start to pictures of him. Now Y/n and Freya put on their costume, Freya is the cookie and Y/n is the milk. Freya put the leash on Ace and they leave the house. They walk around the neighborhood and bought some snacks.
