SEA OF FOG Der bunte Herbst ist vorbei, Nebelbilder und Nebelwellen zum Glück noch nicht. Bald sind hoffentlich schöne Schneelandschaften ein Thema. Ich mag auch Masten. Telefon- oder Strommasten, die dauernd irgendwo im Weg stehen. Nur keine Vollpfosten 😬 Selbstverständlich nerven sie mich auch oft. Aber wenn ich sie gut in ein Bild einbauen kann, finde ich solche Motive ganz abwechslungsreich. Das Bild entstand sehr spontan. Wieder einmal ganz zufällig zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort. MARCH 2019 NGM_0664_7270-1-222 by Nick and Karen Munroe Calm In The Blizzard.. In March of 2019 a heavy wet snow fell covering everything with a thick layer of fresh fluffy white snow. We got up early and headed to the park where we found ourselves in a scene from the movie Narnia; snow was falling from the branches above every time the wind blew. at times it was as if it was still snowing... with so much snow falling from the heavy laden branches overhead. We worked our way through the park and found ourselves walking across the frozen river; we could hear the crack and creak of the ice straining under our feet, we know that the water at this point is only a few inches deep this time of year so no worries about falling through the ice. While i am busy taking photos Karen usually finds something to do to pass the time. when i turn around after being lost in my thoughts i find her laying on a park bench catching snowflakes on her tongue. she is so much fun to be with.
