Uh, Watchtower? The fuck
After all these years of not even being able to say hello to my own cousins, now we’re allowed to give a “simple greeting” to disfellowshipped people if we choose? Fuck you fuck you fuck you to the ends of the observable universe

As someone who tries to dress sort of classy-androgynous all the modern arbitrary rules within menswear are soooo silly to me. I mean I know that can apply to all fashion generally but sometimes it feels like anything above casual in menswear is stuck in a weird 1960s time prison. Every menswear online “expert” sounds like my grandma who used to insist on picking a matching purse to go with her outfit just to go to a doctor’s appointment.
“Your tie should be long enough to just touch the middle of your belt line, if it’s too short it’ll make you look like a silly little clown. Like a little bitch boy. You don’t want people to think you have a small tie, do you? And don’t wear your tie too long, either, then it just looks like you’re short; and, well— god forbid.”
Meanwhile men in the 1920s were wearing ties that barely reached their solar plexus and nobody gave a fuck whatsoever

i love being a very small person who wears mostly men's clothes bc i will google something like 'tying ties for short people' and end up on a menswear site with all these guides and i start reading and it's like "for shorter men, those of us under 5'6"..." or something like that, and i'm just like....... no. that's not what i meant. go shorter.

[ID: A youtube screenshot, showing a video from Facts Verse titled Bizarre Pirate Traditions You Didn't Know About. The thumbnail has two images, one is a sketch of a pirate, glaring at the viewer, and the other is of a pirate baring her breast at the man she attacks. End ID]
This popped up on my youtube recommended and it annoyed me so much I couldn't bring myself to watch it. What are your sources. If it's a commonly repeated story with no real foundation I'm judging you, if you've taken Johnson's General History of Pyrates as fully truthful and accurate I'm judging you even more and if it's that one woodcut of Anne Bonny from the one Dutch version of the General History you might as well delete your channel now
