Sleep thing part two: What time is it a *disaster* for you to get to bed? You may be able to get through the day but it's going to hurt. Like. This isn't a "I'm so sleep deprived that I need to call off of work because it's not safe for me to do my job" thing, it's a "I am going to feel like shit all day and I'm going to crash hard when I'll get home but I'll be able to hang" thing.

WTF? I was reading on ao3 and decided to just see my stats quickly and The Dead End Call is already my 2. most kudoed work. It has literally been less than 48 hours HOW.

okay facing consequences of my actions

#I thought I’d gotten away with it this time #okay it’s 3am and I may have discovered something that completely ruins me #everyone is asleep so I can’t tell if this is me being sleep deprived or not! #so I need to sleep now but I haven’t cleaned my code up or written my answers #I do Not have time #if I don’t sleep now I’m gonna be having a bad time tomorrow morning and I am significantly less productive rn than I could be #with other people around I kinda need that y #so I should go to bed. but also. this code needs cleaning. but also. even if I fall asleep now I’m only getting like 5 hours MAX #I need a good few hours tomorrow morning to have a shot at doing this properly #so it would be more useful to sleep now and wake up as early as possible than keep going tonight bc I’m not going to finish tonight #okay. fuck. I hate this #if I could think straight I’d be able to fix this easy which is probably a good reason to sleep #it’s just an annoying logical problem that I gotta follow through bc currently I’m stuck between three possibilities and there might be more #I have these two rasters and I gotta calculate the area overlap #the first method counts the number of presence points in each (probably) and then counts the number in overlap raster w manually set values #the second counts total predicted points and points where they’re predicted to be alone and does a calculation with that for each species #that one with all points from both species + pseudoabsence. vs method 3 which does that with just individual species coordinates #method 1&2 are now homologous now I JUST caught the logical error but method 3 is what he gave us #but actually he might have fucked up in not including pseudoabsence #i don’t know if method 3 works for two different species either honestly #it gives me results I like much more (my overlap is 100% for one of the species and that shoooouldnt rlly happen even if it’s possible) but #I think it might actually just be wrong because it can’t account for #wait so the line is taking the prediction for all coordinates for each species for each species’ initial coordinates. and not pseudoabsence #and that set of predictions for each species coordinate set is then taken and yeah it’s no longer comparable you can’t count each alone #not with two different species bc you need an overlapping dataset to do that OKAY I have solved that logical problem my initial method works #which is annoying bc the result sucks but whatever I checked the rasters and it’s actually identical so #okay now I’ve figured that out. twenty minutes later. sleep I think it’ll help most #luke.txt

day went absolutely catastrophic i should mark the date as the worst day in my life so far

#among other things. power went out for six hours during the entire duration of my college entrance exam. #laptop ran out of battery in that time and i couldnt turn in the sketch portion of the exam due to such matters and had to go to town to #find a cafe with working electricity and wifi i could use and broke down crying the entire time #went home and got carsick and threw up. cried some more and fell asleep for three hours . and the entire time my phone was on less than 20% #THEN A CAT PISSED ON MY DOORMAT #AGAIN!!!!!! #awesome day #duck rants about something

status update on my mission to 100% and platinum yakuza 0: completion list is at 99.2% and would’ve been finished today if not for pool (carom/combo shots- i made enough money from it though) and batting. my most significant peaks today were probably beating both so and jo amon on the first try miraculously and at one point i got like 34 points in expert koikoi

#if anyone has any advice on pool or batting feel free to tell me because boy am I struggling #and I’m so……so close #oh forgot to mention it but I also did all the climax battles I can for the time being- so a little over half of them maybe? #cant do the rest til I go through the finale and all that #frothing at the fucking mouth . I am so. CLOSE #y0 #rambling #I think I actually like koikoi a little better than oichi kabu ngl. but maybe im just saying that cause I got lucky with koikoi #I do think I’m genuinely okay at it cause like I started to memorize the high point cards and the main hands (especially the high point #but still doable ones like moon viewing and boar/deer/butterfly) and yea worked towards those with my Choices #but still I wouldn’t say I’m Great at it either #not as confident with it as I am with mahjong #but no shit. I played mahjong for like three days straight where as koikoi I maybe spent two or three hours total on #eh actually maybe more like 1-2 hours. took me way less time than oichi kabu #anyway. very very close to 100% completion but still got a bit to go til I can platinum the game since I gotta #go back and do the main story again on legend mode and all that #the finale won’t take long considering I’m crazy maxed out in stats and weapons and all that but going through on legend mode + the rest #of the climax battles will probably be a bit more intensive #really honestly impressed with myself on the Amon fights. like. a month ago I would absolutely assume I’d have to have my friend do those #fights for me cause they’re fucking insane and both have 14 health bars or something like that. but I’ve grown. I’ve learned. i best them #MYSELF. and on HARD at that. very glad I did a ton of shit at the coliseum cause that helped train up for the Amons a Lot. #ok time to shut up and sleep

So if I need a refill do I call or?” #and she said “You can always call our office!” #so I called the office to clarify and immediately burst into tears because I am a disaster who hasn't stopped crying for three days #and they were like “do you... want a refill?” and I blubbered something about just needing to know that I CAN get a refill if/when I need t #so they are going to “Check with the doctor and let me know” #which means that she's going to find out I'm crazy #which probably means she won't give me these again #which means I have 12 to make last for the rest of time because I'm a fucking idiot and broke one trying to half it and it just shattered #because I can't even take pills correctly apparently #also found out yesterday I don't even take BATHS correctly like #jesus christ #can I please for the love of god have one single aspect of my life where I do something right #and am not just a fucked up disaster mess
