What do you think about Rayman DLC coming in sparks of hope?

Mixed feelings.

Part of me is like " Oh my god. Is...Is this real life ??". The other is like " yeah it's...A DLC...." I want this to be clear : The devs deserve a kiss on the cheek for putting the effort and try to get us that DLC. And I hope the effort will payoff down the line. But being fan of the bean taught me to be cautious. I can't count it as a come back yet, not until Ubisoft moves it's ass and makes a 3D game. Also, the part I am miffed at is this : This is a game that stars Mario and the Rabbids. All seems to indicate that in this DLC, Rayman and Mario won't meet. Maybe I am wrong and we'll get a short meeting of the two. I hope so. But if they really don't....That's absolutely DUMB. This would have been the meeting of the century. Mario is the king of platform games and Rayman 2 is still quoted today by many as one of the best platform game of all time. It makes too much sense. I refuse to believe nobody ever thought of proposing this to begin with. See how the first Mario+Rabbids game came to life. Ubisoft proposed the concept themselves to Nintendo. You are not making me believe that Rayman meeting Mario hasn't been discussed at least once. But someone has to have said no, and I can only see Nintendo doing that. So yeah, I am miffed about that and hope the future will prove my grumpy butt wrong on that one.

A bunch of random stuff vaguely fitting within the “ex-hero who still likes adventuring“ look, variations of one of the looks I liked, closer look at two of those, even more variations, different versions of the shirt, finally drew the bells that were always supposed to be there but have always been barely visible, 2 different versions of the dark red sleeve shirt thingy that’d be picked depending on the form of the main shirt, and then when I finally thought my brain was done being indecisive it randomly went "but what if jacket?“ while I was writing this so there’s 2 more images of vest and jacket versions feat. different pants.

As of right now I might choose the design in image 4 labeled "this one?", Or go back to the current one but minus the [shoulder armor thing I forgot the name of] and adding the belt, so basically look 4.3 minus the chest plate. And maybe keep one of the discount-zombie apocalypse jacket ones as one of the "backup“ looks.

One year in high school (11-12 grade), I was chilling in the band room bc I was a band nerd (shocking I know)

Where I lived, in Band™️ you had two options 3/4 through the year.

1) pay a lot of money to go to a different state (ie New York) and perform in a concert or parade or some shit

2) be too poor to afford the field trip and stay home. to make up the credit, you have to learn and perform a “solo” from a selected template.

For reference, I played tenor sax and was VERY good tbh

To make a long story short and not sound egotistical, the band substitute teacher saw me and some other friends listening to music and dicking around.

she comes to me and asks me to prove that I’m studying and doing work, so I flawlessly started playing my solo.

She left immediately after n I felt so accomplished mwehehehhee
