what is WITCHES OF THE NORTH: WINTER JOURNEY?
WotN is a story i began in 2005 (yes, really!) when i was tiny! almost 20 years ago! it's about a trans boy , Chris, who goes on a magical quest to (maybe?) defeat an evil queen, along with his crush (trans girl Winter) and some of their friends! it's a story mainly about love, friendship, connections, and has elements of PTSD, DID, winter magic, lots of snow, gay boys, aro boys, wlw, laughter, evil queens (?), evil minions, some fights, some lounging about... and i've drawn all the art for it on my page! seriously, if you get into it, you will be WELL FED
here's some art!

Fae Laws And Complications Abound in A Killing Frost
A Killing Frost is the latest novel to come from the October Daye series. Once again, fae law is making Toby’s life difficult. You think being a hero would earn her a break or two, but that is not the case.
Can you believe that October Daye is fourteen books in at this point? In many ways, it still feels like the series is brand new. Probably…
Unmanageable is about an over-the-top romantic and a grump. In the first chapter, you get to meet Scott, who is the romantic, trying to surprise his boyfriend. As you can guess, it doesn’t go well. You can read the first chapter here. Or here: https://sarinabowen.com/blog/2022/8/19/first-chapter-unmanageable

for Aromatic Spectrum Awareness Week, i wanted to share Daniel and his QPBoyriend, Jan! they're both aromantic, with Daniel taking some time to come to terms with it - they start dating after book 2 (i don't think Jan appears in the books at all). Daniel's journey is briefly touched upon in book 1.
their relationship is physical, with elements of "close friend" activities! their dates are basically "i have a chore to go do, wanna come with?" , laundry, dishes, dinner with friends, gaming... basically friendship activities + sleeping together when they feel in the mood. but they ARE dating, and are exclusive, meaning they don't have the same relationship with other people. and they care about + love each other a lot, just not a romantic in love love - but no less valid. 💚🤍🖤
Daniel Souza and Janusz Cohen from my novel Witches of the North.
Requiem Infernal is the latest novel in the Dark Coil Series from Warhammer 40,000. Peter Fehervari writes this novel, and it is so deliciously dark that you’re best advised not to read it in the dark. Seriously.
The Adepta Soroitas of the Last Candle are an isolated group, choosing to keep to their vigils over all else. Their island is remote and cannot be flown directly to, even with all the…
