My sexuality is girls from primitive misunderstood societies falling for the enemy, confess their undying love and are willing to die for their girl.

See season 3 episode 2 - Watch out for Wolves did not disappoint (other than it felt like the episode lasted 20 minutes, I couldn't believe the episode was over when it ended)!
Why do I have to wait another week for a new episode? I don't have the patience for this!

Haniwa & Wren | SEE
DOWNLOAD Yes, I watched this one too! And while I thought they rushed that first kiss, I still ship these two (Haniwa and Wren) damn hard! If they write them well, they could bring about a necessary change to their world but I have my doubts! Anyway, whatever happens I can’t wait to get more of them in the coming seasons, if there’s any! Though this is AppleTV not Warner Butchers were talking…

See might've given me the most stressful experience of shipping I've ever had. They're canon and they're so sweet but ye gods, practically everything in the setting is stacked against them.

See series finale spoilers below cut:
Before I started the episode I said out loud that if somebody has to die, it has to be Baba. The family wouldn't be able to deal with or overcome any other death. But it was still heartbreaking - his final goodbye with Haniwa, his whispered goodbye to Maghra, how Kofun was the only one not warned, only realizing it as he saw his dad swing that sledgehammer. I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a little baby. Nor am I ashamed to say I cried through Maghra's speech to dead Baba. Or how my tears switched into happy tears when Maghra told that Haniwa and Wren had gotten married and we got that glorious footage of them both in their wedding attire, covered in flowers.
But to be honest, I started crying already well before Baba's dead, when I didn't expect to. When Maghra and Sibeth met on the battle field. When Maghra started to recite the words to the Dream a Little Dream of Me and Sibeth joined in. I absolutely LOVE Sibeth as a character - not the person she is, but how interesting and complex she is - and how her ending highlighted the twisted family bond that not even two overthrowings and 18 years apart could destroy completely. Her death was better and more satisfying that I could have ever imagined. Ending a character like her in a satisfying way isn't an easy task, so I really applaud the whole writing team and creative staff for making the impossible possible.
And the ending - oh how I want to have books or something to see how Haniwa and Kofun continue building the future in their very differing ways. I was so happy they didn't try to force Haniwa to suddenly change her values for something as mindless as "it's what papa would have wanted." Hell no! She's her father's daughter - passionate, quick to lash out, preferring to take action rather than sit idle and wait for the politics to play out. Kofun has always taken more after his mother, so I just loved how both of them had endings that were true to their characters, and not some "well let's try to wrap it up and just have them all live happily ever after with all the world's problems suddenly solved."
I just finished the finale but I already miss the series. I'm pretty sure that as soon as I have the chance I am first going to rewatch the third season and then the whole thing all over again - all three seasons of it.
There were too many talents involved to even mention all of them, but the actors, the writers, the directors, the audio and visual designers, production teams, the fight choreographers, the blindness trainers, and just everybody involved did such an amazing job with the series that I can honestly say that it's my favourite - and remained so even after the finale. Which, to be honest, is a rarity these days.
