sooo the implication is that every time he loses a bet with jose, they smoke a cigar (or cigarette) together and jose gets to burn another circle into his skin (basically tallying all of alejandro's failures directly onto his body, yippee!). he has so many because he's never won a competition againt jose. think of it as a very fucked up form of brotherly bonding, which may or may not be inspired by their father. it started after carlos left the family so he didnt know about it until alejandro began living with him.

It’s been interesting playing with my Scott Ryder in the BG3 ‘verse, I think. Had the romance scene with Astarion and I don’t think he’s gonna pursue it, actually 🧐 likes him well enough but just doesn’t match and/or balance Scott’s energy, and I’m curious if the game comments on his not taking it any further and continuing only platonically

Halsin is likely to have more appeal in an open, FWB sort of way, but this whole little sidetrack has been telling me some interesting things about Scott and relationships 😂

And I think the only thing keeping him from uhh… embracing his potential is the risk of his being easier for someone else to control. The boy likes power and being powerful, but detests the trade off being under someone else’s influence or control 🤔
