I DO love the Idea of Wednesday inheriting Gomez’s fine art of thoughtful pet names but I love the idea that Wednesday doesn’t give Enid any sort of nicknames, but the WAY she says her name makes it feel like romance was just invented

Okay. Maybe picking a fight with a 6’2 giant wasn’t your brightest idea.
It started in fencing class, you making your way towards Enid, for a pair exercise. Wednesday wasn’t in class today, opting instead to sneak out and work on the hyde case, she had mentioned briefly.
“Yeah dude, Wednesday is sooo into me. I can feel it. She’s been giving me so many signals.” You hear as you walk past Xavier and his hoard of friends.
You can’t help the sudden tug in your heart, and the small voice in your head that said maybe he was right.
Wednesday had been spending a lot of time with Xavier lately, but she had claimed it was for the hyde case. It didn’t help the swell of jealousy that surged through you whenever you saw them though.
Stupid feelings. Why are you jealous anyway? It’s not like you and Wednesday are together.
A voice cuts you out of your thoughts, “Totally dude, and when you finally hit that, you gotta tell me alll the details alright?”
Your face scrunches in disgust, hands on both sides of your body starting to clench into fists.
“You know I will. I swear, she’s all over me. Next time we’re alone together, it’s on.” Xavier replies, drawing an emphasis on the last word.
Nope, that’s it.
You turn sharply and bring your clenched fists up to your face, resembling the stance of a boxer.
It probably looked a little funny, since you were what, a million feet shorter than him? But you honestly couldn’t have cared less in the moment.
“Don’t you dare talk about her like that.” You hiss, eyes hard and unforgiving.
Xavier stays quiet for a moment, then let’s out a loud laugh.
“And what are you going to do about it, huh? Wednesday’s not here to protect your ass this time.” He drawls, smirk on his crusty thin lips.
He leans in, too close for comfort and whispers, “Wednesday would never give you the light of day. You’re so pathetically in love with her, all of us can see it. But Wednesday’s in love with me.”
He pauses for a moment, like he’s trying to think of something good to say.
“And when we finally fuck, i’ll be sure to send you some photo evidence.”
That does it. You snap, lunging forward and grabbing his hair, pulling harshly.
“Ow! Get off of me!”
It’s hard to remember what happens next, you’re so lost in the fury and rage of it all you can barely register that you’re suddenly on top of him, pummeling his stupid face with all your might.
You grin in satisfaction as you see blood start to make its way from his lips down to his neck.
But your luck doesn’t last very long, and he manages to kick up at a certain weak spot between your legs, leaving you to stumble and hit the floor.
Groaning, you try and get up, but he’s faster. The adrenaline is fading away, and you’re starting to realize that he is in fact a lot stronger, even if you hate to admit it.
You start to lose feeling in the right side of your face, where his knuckles have collided against your skin. Bruises form so fast you almost let out a chuckle, was your skin really that sensitive?
“That’s enough! Xavier get off YN.” The teacher’s voice booms. Could he really not have cut in sooner?
“Enid, take YN to the nurses office.”
You barely register Enid and Ajax rushing over to you, taking you in their arms and dragging you out the classroom.
You smile a toothy grin at them.
“Did I win?” And then everything turns to black.
______
When you wake up again, Enid’s at your side immediately, looking down at you, worry prominent in her eyes.
“YN! Are you okay?”
You nod, only to find out that it’s extremely difficult to move your head and not feel like you just broke every bone in your body.
“I’m good.” You croak.
You look around the room, relieved to find that Wednesday wasn’t there. You don’t think you could bear the look she would give you, so full of worry and so unlike Wednesday.
“Where’s Wednesday?” You manage out, looking at Enid expectedly.
“She hasn’t come back from Jericho yet.” Enid confirms your suspicions, sounding a little uneasy.
“Xavier’s really got to watch his back, I have no idea what Wednesday’s going to do when she finds out about this, but it’s NOT going to be pretty.” She continues, eyes wide.
At that, your own eyes widen, and you try to shake your head.
“No no, Enid, please don’t tell Wednesday about this. I don’t want her to see me in this shape.” You reach for Enid’s hand, making sure she’s looking at you.
“But…”
“Please, Enid. You don’t have to lie or anything, just tell her you don’t know where I am. I’ll be good in a couple of days.” You plead.
“Alright, fine.” She mumbles, taking your hand in hers and rubbing the back in comfort.
——
The next few days are spent in agony. The pain is starting to subside, but you still look like a beat up raisin. Purple and green bruises litter your skin, but the real sense of pain is coming from the distance between you and Wednesday.
You two had grown….very somewhat close the last few months, though the both of you would never admit it.
It was extremely hard trying to avoid Wednesday, and even harder to cover the bruises on your face. One good look and you knew she would’ve figured it out.
So for the past week, you’ve stumbled into bushes, fallen over benches, and hit the corridor walls in an attempt to swerve from Wednesday many times.
Every time she tried to approach you, you’d hang your head low, never meeting her eyes.
It was going well for the most part, until Ms.Thornhill had decided she wanted people to work in pairs.
You crossed your fingers, praying to the lord that you didn’t even worship you wouldn’t be stuck with Wednesday.
But to no avail, your luck once again ran out.
“Wednesday Addams, YN LN.”
You sigh loudly and make your way over to sit next to Wednesday, still avoiding her eye at all costs.
Most of the lesson is spent in silence, both of you lost stirring in your thoughts.
Then, “Why have you been avoiding me?” Wednesday says, hurried, like she couldn’t help it from slipping.
You sigh, for what feels like the millionth time that day, and manage a quiet, “I haven’t been avoiding you Wednesday.”
It comes out so weak, you wouldn’t have even believed yourself.
“Yes you have. I want to know the reason, have I done something wrong? Maybe I said something to hurt your….feelings?” She pauses before the last word, tone turning uncertain.
You frown.
“No of course not Wednesday, I just…” You trail off.
You turn to Wednesday, determined to give the performance of a lifetime, but forget that your face still looks like a bruised peach, and you definitely shouldn’t look her in the face.
You let out a final sigh and pull the head of your hoodie down, feeling small under Wednesdays stare.
Her eyes widen a little at the sight of you, and worry fills them. You can’t help but feel a tinge of happiness at how much she seems to care, letting the emotionless mask slip for a second.
She stands up suddenly, startling you and the 20 other people in the room.
“Ms. Thornhill, may YN and I please be excused?”
Wednesday doesn’t wait for Ms.Thornhill to answer before taking you by the wrist and dragging you out.
She doesn’t say a word until she gets to her dorm, quickly opening the door and throwing you in.
“Wednesday?” You squeak.
She turns and reaches out to touch your face, thumb rubbing just the slightest on your bruises.
A gentleness she didn’t know she possessed took over, still moving her hand in small circles all over your face.
“Who did this to you?” She murmurs, and her voice is filled with such intense worry it makes you want to break down.
Your head falls down on instinct, staring at your shoes like they’re the most interesting piece of art in the world.
Wednesday grips your chin and tilts your face back up, inches away from you.
Then she’s placing her hands on your waist, hands rigid, like she’s nervous.
You look so vulnerable, and she might’ve even say sort of adorable, she can’t help but lean forward and press a kiss to your cheek, on top of the scar.
Your breath hitches in your throat, body stiff.
She continues giving you little pecks all around the bruises, and you relax in her arms.
After a while, she pulls away, and you grab at her on instinct. She lets you, body pressing up to yours once again.
“You never answered my question.” She says.
“Xavier. He said something bad about you, but it doesn’t matter now. This is much better.” You mumble as you dig your face in her uniform.
She tenses up at this.
“He’s going to die a slow, painful death. And not the satisfying kind.” She decides, hand wrapping around your waist protectively.
You hum, “Who cares? I just wanna stay like this.”
The two of you don’t say much after that, content in simply being in each other’s presence.
-
When you get to class the next day, you bite back a smirk when you see Xavier’s positively beaten up face.
You walk over to him, acting all nonchalant.
“Yeah dude. She’s soooo into you.”
-
A/N: I kinda really enjoyed writing that, ty anon! Wednesday’s such a sweet softie on the inside.

Bitterly Beautiful: Tame The Stress 🍋
Tumblr media
Writers Block was a serious detriment to artists of literary all over the world. It even hampers the writing of Wednesday Addams, as invincible as she portrays herself. You sat gingerly on her bed, listening to her type away on the machine she uses near on her desk, you gently polished your cane, feeling the smooth wood along your palm and the slight sleek feel of the rag in your other. You were fairly content with how you spend your time with Wednesday.
She was the definition of Anti-social but you weren’t necessarily a people person either, that made spending time together just effortless. You both stayed in the room but mostly did your own thing, it’s the company she had is what made you so enthralled.
Your Blindness made reading her novel basically impossible, but it didn’t stop you from asking her to read it to you, still wanting to listen to your Girlfriends work. Knowing her in and out, you could always sense if something was up, the Octave in her vocal ranges goes up or down a pitch, her increased heartbeat, telltales of stress or anxiety. You could almost feel her scowling at the Typewriter as she stoped and typed spastically. You heard a sigh of annoyance and you knew she was hitting a block.
“Having trouble?” You asked, placing the cane down to prop yourself up on it. Wednesday wasn’t one for expressing feeling or even discomfort, she always kept aloof and distant. But lying to you was nearly impossible. Wednesday kept her nightly clothing simple, a pair of short black shorts and a desk black nightgown that lacked any flair, it looked more like an oversized t-shirt, but you obviously didn’t complain.
“It seems I’ve hit what weak minded writers call a “writers Block” she explained, she raised her hand to type once more and you could sense it just from her body movements.
“It isn’t Weak minded to be mentally stumped. Take a break, talk with me, or play your Cello.” You approach and knelt down slightly to be on her level. Wednesday turns her head to you, you could never truly understand what Wednesday looked like but you always had a general idea and sense, regardless she was beautiful.
“I don’t need your pity. especially from a blind man.” She huffed and went back to her work. But Wednesday wasn’t going to listen to your advice. There was always one thing that did really take off the stress from people, and it was your Boyfriend duties to make sure Wednesday was accurately taken care of. You calmly got down on all fours as she ignored you, and slipped under her desk. She continued to fumble with her writing, your hands gently poked her foot. She ignored it until you gently traced it along her shin and up to her knee, and softly kissed it.
“(Y/n), I’m not in the mood for your—“ she attempted to reprimand you, but you casually and gently placed your head on one of her legs. “Babe, just enjoy yourself.” You said in a loving whisper, you used both palms to softy grip her thighs, right below the Shorts, her skin was always soft and well taken care of.
You slowly and carefully went up her legs, feeling the tensing of her body. She was trying to ignore you, ignore your hands but it was slowly melting her icy resolve. Your fingertips gently brushed higher and higher right to her thighs, and trickled back down her shorts. You felt a sudden shift and you slowly crept closer and closer, palms gently closing in to her underwear. You felt her toes curl and a sigh of slight surprise come from her nose.
“Just relax, and enjoy yourself, Enids not here.” You spoke so softly but deeply, something about it almost made her shift switches in her brain. Your palms felt her legs spread a bit almost inviting you to get her off.
Wednesdays brain began to flow a bit more, this time typing on the Story she’s doing, your fingers reached slightly under her gown and to the waistband of her shorts and underwear, with a little pull you felt her clothes slip off. Your warm breath gently brushing up against her slightly aroused clit. You heard a slight shiver from your Girlfriend as she typed. More aggressive.
“You only have a few minutes before I— ooooh~” You leaned your head in and didn’t hesitate to give her inner lips a warm wet greeting. The suddenly shift of your warm wet tongue on her body made her demeanor shift to a woman in actual pleasure. You lapped your tongue all over and made sure to gently nudge her clitoris every time to tease her.
You shifted your body lower, letting Wednesday rest her legs on your shoulder as you worked your way inside her. Oral wasn’t something you both did since she viewed normal sex as more than satisfactory, and you didn’t particularly complain about it either. Being with her was more than enough, she obviously underappreciated how good you were, Wednesday at this time had completely abandoned her story and leaned on her arm, trying to hold it together as she felt you breath, tongue, saliva, all over her exposed privates. Her other hand rushed under the table to grip your hair. Wednesday wasn’t an aggressive lover on purpose, she just didn’t know how to be gentle.
“Move your.. tongue an inch to the right, yes.. there.” Wednesday was breathing much heavier than expected, she began to lean back, slowly coming to an orgasm.
“Keep going, don’t you dare stop..” she ordered, but it didn’t sound like authority, more like a woman telling you how to make the next few moments really matter. Your tongue slipped inside and the slightest gasp of air from her were music to your ears.
“There, I feel it, coming… I… I feel it…” Wednesday cocked her head back, gripping your scalp she wrapped her legs around your head and neck, pulling your tongue and face in deep, feeling her pussy convulse and drip right on your face, slowly trailing down your chin.
Her legs were shaky, exhausted from getting a very good workout. She finally relented and let your breath as you pulled back, taking a deep breath. You couldn’t see it but the sound of dripping on the door and Wednesday silence but heavy breath told you that you were doing just fine. Coming back from the desk you crept back up behind her, your face next to hers. “Feeling better?” You said into her ear, all of this intensity caused your cock to harden like stone and make it pretty obvious what’s next.
Standing up your bulge was nudged against her face, Wednesday looked up at you, and attempted to stand up but got a bit wobbly. She didn’t hesitate to shove her lips on yours. They wrestled for control as her hand pressed firmly on the outline of your cock. With a fumble and tumble with your clothes you both stripped down, taking a break, you felt the girl yank you to her bed, getting on all fours and bending over, she looked back at you.
“Do not make me beg..” she said, but you didn’t have to ask. Your hands grip her waist.
“Don’t hesitate to— Fuck!~” Wednesday tried not to make that kind of sound but it was too late, the sudden impact of your cock drilling into her made her cry out in please. She gripped the bed as you pulled out of her wet insides and went back in for good measure, giving her a heavy hammer to her insides as you thrust away.
Wednesday didn’t try to fight you in this, she wanted to be taken, to let you give it to her the way you wanted, the way you knew you both liked it. The way her insides squeezed around you, the way the sweat dripped off your chest and onto her back, the sounds she makes when you give her slightly pale ass a good slap. Her face buried into the pillows as she gasped and tried to hold on to some control but it wasn’t easy for her.
“I’m, gonna cum.”
“Do it… inside me… p-please… I can’t take it anymore.” Wednesday for the first time begged so softly for it. You gave her exactly what she asked, you gripped her pigtails and yanked as your legs grew numb, hitting the climax you let as much of it inside as you could. Reorganizing her insides to only fit you. Panting like a dog you almost fell on top of her, you held yourself up as she slide off your cock and collapsed into her bed, you fell next to her, feeling her breath brush against your neck as you slept.
You had woken tired, But somehow also more lightweight. Like you really took a load off, you sat up to sense where and what was going on. You felt something along your stomach and chest, a body, Wednesday was sleeping on you. Well she was awake.
“Hey sleepyhead?” You joked, Wednesday was silent, until she tilted her head to face you.
“Thank you for, letting me see reason, I needed to relax and you gave me what I needed, even though I thought I knew better.” She admits, your hand softly caressed her head as she put it back down to sleep.
“It’s okay, you were stressed, at least you tamed it.” You reassured her, and she sighed.
“No, you tamed it.”

in the interest of spontaneity

a/n: request for anon who asked for bottom!wednesday during her writing hour. requests are open, let me know what you want me to write next!
Tumblr media
When Wednesday had invited you up to her bedroom for a ‘study session’, this wasn’t exactly what you’d had in mind.
You’d pictured the two of you tangled up under her sheets. Kissing, a lot of kissing. Clothing optional - no - clothing prohibited. You’d make the most of your time alone with her. Maybe you’d do that thing with your tongue, just the way she likes.
Instead, she sits at her desk, madly typing while you lay in her bed alone.
You stare up at the ceiling, listen to the clicking of the keys as she hits the typewriter. Really, you should have known better. You’d been dating Wednesday long enough to know she was more than quite literal. Still, it doesn’t dissuade the wild thoughts running through your mind as you look at her.
She’s beautiful, as always. Pale skin, dark hair, tied neatly in braids. You want her. You’ve been thinking about her all day.
You clear your throat, trying to be subtle.
Her fingers skate madly across the keyboard, undeterred. Maybe a little too subtle.
You clear your throat once more.
She pauses. Looks over at you with only the mildest irritation.
“Thing, I think YN needs a glass of water.”
Thing scurries across the ground and slinks out the door, no doubt to heed his mistress’ request.
“Wednesday.” You say, “Baby. Don’t you think it’s time for a break?”
She flinches at the endearment. Doesn’t look away from her typewriter.
“I don’t take breaks.” She informs you. “Breaks are for weak-minded writers whose work will never and should never see the light of day. ”
She pauses, looks back at you.
“And infantile nicknames will get you nowhere.” She says.
You sigh. Fall back onto the bed. It was like this sometimes. Dating Wednesday. You loved her, but she couldn’t take a hint to save her life.
“I just thought we were going to… ” You trail off, hoping you don’t have to spell it out.
She turns around, stares at you piercingly.
“You thought I was inviting you up for intercourse?” She says. She looks a little baffled. “I very clearly stated this was a study session, did I not?”
“No, you did.” You hum. “I just thought… never mind.”
Her hands hover over her typewriter, contemplating.
“I have to practice my Cello at four.” She says, not taking her eyes off you. “Perhaps we could schedule coitus for tomorrow evening. Enid will be with Ajax.”
“Wednesday, I don’t want to schedule our sex life.” You groan, “It’s supposed to be romantic. Spontaneous. And please stop calling it coitus.”
She blinks back at you.
“I will never understand your aversion to calling these things by their proper name.” She mutters. She goes back to her typewriter, “As I said, Enid will be out of the room by five tomorrow afternoon. If you want to be spontaneous then, I shall be here.”
You bite your lip. Half consider leaving. She was so annoying about her writing. Rigorous. Like a dog with a bone. But that was also the way you were about her. You stand, walk over to her. She tenses at your hand on her shoulder.
Then, you drop down to your knees and shuffle yourself under the desk.
Wednesday stares down at you.
“What are you doing?” She asks, body stiff.
“Being spontaneous.” You smile up at her. Nudge her knees apart, just wide enough so you can slot yourself between them.
“YN, my writing time-”
“Is very important.” You assure. You press your lips to her knee, “I wouldn’t want to interrupt. Please, keep going.”
Her panties are black, as usual. You work your way up to them, dotting warm kisses between her thighs, not wanting to neglect either one of them. Her hands are rigid on her typewriter, body tense. You can almost hear the cogs churning in her head as you hook your arms around her thighs, pulling her a little closer.
“On second thought, my hands are beginning to tire. I wouldn’t want to strain them before Cello practice.” Wednesday says, her voice a little higher than usual. “Perhaps we could move to the bed.”
You shake your head, press your lips to the cloth of her panties. She shivers.
“You need to write, you said it yourself.” You say, smirking into her. “I wouldn’t want to interrupt. Please, continue.”
“How can I continue when you’re-“ Her legs squeeze tight around your torso as you brush your tongue over her clothed center. “Doing that.”
“I’m afraid the only way I’ll continue doing that is if you’re writing.”
“YN.”
“Wednesday.”
You bring your hands up to cup her thighs, soothe her with a gentle kiss as you drag her panties down her legs.
“Be a good girl for me. And write.”
You hover over her, waiting.
She hesitates a moment. Then, you hear the clack of the keys as her fingers hit the typewriter.
You smile, satisfied, then dip down and press your lips to her center.
She tastes as amazing as ever, bitter, but in the kind of way that left your mouth salivating, wanting more. You tease your tongue over her folds, enjoying the way her body responds under you. Swirl your tongue up to her clit, slow, purposeful. Just the way she likes.
Wednesday doesn’t ever moan, not really. She’s all breathy sighs and tiny noises. You elicit one now, the moment your lips wrap around her clit, sucking ever so softly. You’re rewarded by a fresh wave of desire, that gorgeous bittersweet honey you can’t get enough of. You can’t resist lapping it up, greedy for her.
Her body is tense, her thighs locked tight around your head. When you feel her hand in your hair, you’re drawn out of your lust-filled reverie, realizing she’s abandoned her typewriter.
“I’m not hearing any writing.”
“YN, you can’t be serious. I am completely incapable of writing a coherent sentence when you’re-”
You nip her inner thigh with your teeth. Abandon the place she needs you the most. The place you want the most.
She stares down at you, piercing eyes, but you don’t budge. You don’t move a muscle.
Begrudgingly, she continues.
You smile, reward her by kissing your way back to her center. You lap a little, teasing, dipping your tongue between her folds, coiling it around her entrance. Arousal rushes through you at the way she spreads her legs wider, unconsciously giving you better access. She’s being so good, fingers madly typing, just like you’d asked. You kiss her thigh once more and work your lips around her clit.
She likes it slow, meaningful licks, gentle sucking. Her breathing is labored, the clicking of her typewriter is becoming erratic as you suck her clit into an orgasm.
She cums with a tight, breathy gasp. You suck her clit a little longer, then lap up the rest of her juices, not wanting to waste a drop.
You rub her bare thighs, press a final kiss to her swollen folds before you’re clambering out from under her and standing, licking her off your lips.
She’s slumped slightly in her seat. You wrap your arms around her from behind, press a long kiss to her head.
“Good girl.” You murmur. Look over to see what she’s written for you.
Your eyebrows furrow. It’s the same word, typed over and over and over.
“You just typed my name over and over?” You look over at the pages, mouth agape.
Wednesday shrugs.
“You told me to write, you didn’t specify the subject matter.”
She’s always one step ahead of you, you both love and hate it about her. It’s impossible to be mad when she’s like this. Soft, sensitive from her orgasm. You press your lips against her neck.
“You’re an evil genius.”
She sits a little taller, like she’s proud of herself.
“Thank you.”
You link your arms around her waist, press your face against hers. It wasn’t often she allowed you to show affection like this, certainly not in public, and almost always in this sweet, sleepy state she got into after you’d made her cum. She doesn’t allow it for long. She sits up ever so slightly, holds her hands above her typewriter.
“Now. If you don’t mind, I’m going to go back to my writing.”
You stare. Blink a few times.
“What about me?”
She looks up at you, seemingly innocent. You know her better. She’s taunting you. Trying to take back the upper hand.
“I shall see you tomorrow afternoon at five, where neither party is forced to parry words in exchange for an orgasm.”
You raise your eyebrows in disbelief, “Tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow.” She confirms, turns her attention back to her typewriter, “Then we shall engage in proper and rigorous coitus.”
“Don’t call it that.”
“Intercourse.”
“Don’t call it that, either.”
“What would you like me to call it?” She looks up at you, her stare a little blank.
“Sex? Fucking? Lovemaking?”
She wrinkles her nose. Disgust clouds her features.
“How about intimacy?”
You sigh, a little defeated. “Sure. It’s better, I guess.”
She nods, firm.
“I shall see you tomorrow at five for intimacy.”
Your stomach coils. You’re still turned on, uncomfortably so. And she knows it. Your girlfriend is evil. You sigh, flop back onto her bed. Hear the beat of her fingers against the typewriter.
“Fine.” You say, a little dramatically, “But you know, tomorrow is a long way away. Guess I’ll have to take care of myself while I wait.”
She stills. The clack of her fingers against the typewriter stops.
You resist the urge to smirk. Draw your hand down your body, slipping it down past the waistband of your jeans and into your underwear. Sigh gently at the wetness that awaits you.
“You can keep writing, this won’t take long.”
She turns eagle-eyed, stares as she watches you touch yourself.
Got you, you think, victorious at the way her lips part, only slightly. Her eyes, impossibly dark.
You tilt your head back, present your neck, the way she likes. Let out a low sigh.
She blinks back at you. You watch her turmoil.
Then.
“I suppose my writing can wait until tomorrow. In the interest of spontaneity.”
“Hmm.” You murmur as she climbs on top of you, presses her lips against yours in a searing kiss. Her hand slip into your pants, “Sure. In the interest of spontaneity.”

Woe out the Storm (11) - Holding out for a Hero
Tumblr media
Wednesday Addams x female Reader
Summary: It took some time, but eventually you came to realize only Wednesday Addams could look at the raging storm of chaos and destruction and make a home out of it. Only she could listen to the cacophony of the roaring thunder and hear a melody.
Story warnings: Wednesday Addams, violence, slow burn
Story Masterlist / First part / Previous part / Next part
Word count: 5.1k
-Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat-
Wednesday woke up in a bed that was softer than her own, though not uncomfortable, something about it made her feel uneasy in a good way. And then the memories of her last waking moments came to her mind, and she couldn’t help but hide her face in the pillow.
Which wasn’t the right choice…
Her being in your bed only reminded her that you spent the storm last night outside. Well, in your shed, but she knew that was hardly the right protection from the storm for you.
She couldn’t even comprehend what possessed her to sleep in your bed, to blatantly ignore her allergy in favor of… whatever this was. It felt wrong, it felt like she was intruding on something, like she was forcing herself into a part of your life she had no business being in. That was how she felt.
She most certainly didn’t feel like she was trying to fill the void left by your absence.
So, she just remained there, after all, with you and Enid gone, she had nothing to worry about. No one else but her and Thing would know about this.
~X~
The damn rain was persistent. It’s been raining since last night and there were no signs it would stop anytime soon. Speaking of persistent, Enid was in your shed. She came to tell you the mayor died, but she stayed for other reasons…
“You have to go back to our room, Y/N! Look at you, you’re exhausted!” she exclaimed, worried and anxious for multiple reasons connected to you staying in the shed.
“Forget it,” yet you remained stubborn, lazily leaning back against your chair and throwing your head back. You really were exhausted. There were so many electronic devices in the shed and that was enough to make you even more on edge than you already were. One moment of weakness and you’d likely blow the entire shed up.
“Wednesday made a mistake, but you shouldn’t ruin all of your work over it!” Enid argued, throwing her hands down in frustration.
You narrowed your eyes at that. Wednesday… You cooled down, significantly, but you were still angry at her. Well, anger wasn’t quite the right word. “Why couldn’t she just take me with you? I could have done something,” you sighed, you were hurt, you were frightened by what could have happened. It was a similar feeling to seeing that person a few nights ago, only this time it wasn’t for you, but for Wednesday and Enid. Why couldn’t Wednesday just trust you to be able to help her?
“And put you in danger as well? Come on, Y/N, didn’t she do enough already?! She placed you in a bathtub filled with water!” Enid clearly couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “You’ve done more than I did, you just accepted her right from the start and that’s how she responds?”
“Stop, Enid,” you closed your eyes, hoping she would get a hint and give up.
“I won’t stop, Wednesday doesn’t appreciate what either of us did for her,” she was hurt, she believed Wednesday didn’t care. In fact, you were willing to bet Enid was even more hurt by the fact Wednesday didn’t take you along than you were. To Enid it probably looked like Wednesday was more than willing to put her in danger while simultaneously making sure you weren’t in danger, at least the same kind of danger.
“And part of that is our fault as well. Yes, she’d cold, she doesn’t show her emotions and all that, but she’s honest. We both got exactly what she said she was, so you can either give up on being friends with her, or understand that’s how Wednesday works and accept it,” you’d accept it, but you just needed to get away from her for a few days so you could properly figure out what to do. You were trying to make sense of what you were feeling, because, whether you were willing to admit it or not, you knew you had it bad for the girl.
She was just… special. The way she accepted you, the way she wasn’t bothered by being seen with you in places that would imply a much more intimate relationship between you two, the way she wasn’t afraid of your lightning. You hated to admit it, but you craved that, and she was giving it to you, regardless of that probably being unconscious on her part. It wasn’t just her acceptance of you, she was ambitious, smart, not the easiest or warmest to approach to, but easy to be around as long as you knew what you were getting into. Wednesday would judge based on opinions, or behavior, but never for things out of your control, and you admired that. And, as you said to Enid, with Wednesday you got exactly who she said she was. If she said she wasn’t a friend material, she most certainly was right, she wasn’t a friend material in a more accepted definition of a friend.
And you were so stupidly drawn in by everything Wednesday you just knew you couldn’t let go. But she did hurt you, and she did make you angry, and she was reckless and made you worried. For all of that you needed some time away from her, and hopefully that would get the message across to her.
“I really can’t change your mind?” Enid asked, even if already knew the answer.
“Nope. My mind’s made up.”
~X~
You would be a liar if you said you weren’t expecting Thing to show up. “You’re not off the hook either, buddy,” you said as you looked at him. Unlike with Enid you couldn’t avert your eyes, you needed to watch the hand to know what he was telling you.
You wondered if anyone ever used Thing for ‘Talk to the hand’ joke.
He began signing, telling you basically the same words Enid did. That you needed to come back to your room for your own sake.
“I’m good here,” you refused, even if you weren’t, as you said, good here.
‘Wednesday misses you!’ he revealed, even if the statement didn’t make much sense. Still, you figured there must be something you wanted to accomplish because, even, or rather especially, if it was true he’d likely lose several fingers.
“Thing,” you sighed, not willing to hope. “She made her decision, and so did I.”
Yet, Thing remained stubborn. ‘She loves you!'
Your eyes widened at that, and you nearly lit up like fireworks from momentarily losing your focus. That would be a dumb way to die, especially since you'd take Thing with you, and you were sure Wednesday would bring your soul back to torment you for the rest of her life if that happened. “Come on, Thing. Sure, she doesn’t hate me, but she loves me? Don’t give me that,” you couldn’t just believe him, even if you were sure no one in this school knew Wednesday as well as Thing did. Hell, there might not be anyone in the world aside from her parents who knew her better than Thing and you were sure he could give even them a run for their money. It really depended on how much time she spent with Thing as a child.
‘She does!’ Thing remained adamant in his beliefs and kept claiming that.
“If she really misses me, well, first she needs to apologize for tying me up and leaving me in a bathtub. Then we can talk,” there, a compromise, you set definitive conditions for your return, and you were sure Thing would tell Wednesday what you wanted. Somehow, with Enid and Thing coming to talk to you, you almost felt like you and Wednesday were going through a breakup. Their reactions definitely backed that feeling up.
~X~
Reuniting with her uncle Fester and attending a funeral kept Wednesday’s mind off of you and Enid leaving. She was genuinely happy to see him and she always got along with him. And since he needed a place to lay low she had just the spot for him.
“This place belongs to a friend,” she said as they entered the beekeeper house.
“You actually made a friend? That poor kid will be going home in a body bag,” it was an understandable assumption.
Yet something clutched Wednesday’s heart and refused to let go as she looked away from her uncle. Eugene was still in a coma, she was told by her mother you might die for her, her vision made it clear you could be attacked by the monster, and you were already attacked a few nights ago, Tyler got hurt, Enid could have been hurt as well. It seemed like all she accomplished in her investigation was to get people hurt. She wanted to take it all back. To join another club and skip attending, to never start talking to you more than she needed, and the same went for Enid and Tyler, if she could take it all back and make sure you didn’t get close to her none of this would have happened to the four of you.
Only those who were Addams were safe, it seemed. The rest got hurt by being close to her.
Like Nero over a decade ago.
She truly was meant to be alone. Rejected by society and causing pain to those that didn’t reject her.
“Oh! I like a hideout that comes with snacks,” Fester’s excitement made her snap out of her thoughts.
“Those bees are hibernating. They’re practically Eugene’s children,” yet he still reached in to grab them. “That means do not eat them!” at least she could keep something precious to Eugene safe while he was in a coma, if she couldn’t fix what happened with you, Enid and Tyler.
Fester turned around, obviously puzzled by her reaction, but he put the bee back. “You know, when you give me that death stare of disapproval, you remind me of your mother,” he pointed out.
Great. Another reminded of her mother and what she said.
“Speaking of scary things, you know what kind of monster you’re dealing with?” he asked gleefully, much like a child that was excited about a new toy.
“I haven’t been able to identify it,” she handed him Xavier’s drawing and the moment he looked at it he seemed to recognize it.
“Oooh, it’s called a Hyde,” he revealed and handed the picture to her.
“As in Jekyll and Hyde?” she asked.
“Mhm.”
“You’ve seen one before?” finally, she was getting somewhere.
“In ’83, during my vacay at the Zurich Institute for the Criminally Insane. Where I got my first lobotomy, but you know lobotomies. They’re like tattoos. Can’t just get one,” he wasn’t focusing on what was important and she needed him to do that.
“Tell me about the Hyde,” she reminded him of her goal.
“Ah, Olga Malacova,” he seemed to be reminiscing. “Jeez. She had it all. Beauty, brains and a penchant for necrophilia,” he was getting sidetracked again. “Olga was a concert pianist until one night she transformed in the middle of a Chopin sonata. Massacred a dozen audience members and three music critics.”
“What triggered her? Or did she just change on her own? How was she stopped?” she needed to know all of those information. At least now she was certain the monster, the Hyde, was also a human.
“No idea about the first two, but a raiju stopped her. Raiju are usually handy when dealing with outcasts as strong as Hydes, fight fire with fire, or fire with lightning in this case,” again with raiju being useful. It was as if the entire world wanted to make fun of her for getting attached to you, a raiju.
“There’s never been any mention of Hydes in any outcast book,” she was frustrated, but she couldn’t let him know what was the other reason for her frustration. “And Nevermore is reputed for having the best collection,” she nearly snapped, irked by everything going on.
“You try Nathaniel Faulkner’s diary?” Fester suggested and her silence and turning around to face him again clued him in that she didn’t. “Mmmm! Before he founded Nevermore, Faulkner traveled the world, cataloging every outcast community.”
“How do you know this?” it wasn’t an information she expected Fester to have.
“You think your parents can’t keep their hands off each other now, oy vey. I showed up unannounced one night in Gomez’s dorm room, let’s just say I wasn’t interrupting a pillow fight,” he chuckled at his own joke.
“Uncle Fester!” she was growing tired of unnecessary details. “The diary, where is it?”
He gave her a restrained laugh and focused once again. “Nightshades Library. Your dad parked me there and said I should settle in for a long stretch and that’s when I found this nifty little safe. I was hoping for a stash of cash or jewels, but instead I found a diary.”
“We’ll sneak into the Nightshades Library tonight. In the meantime, lay low,” she instructed him, hopefully that would be enough to keep him out of trouble.
“Is Elijah’s kid coming with us? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a raiju shift!” his words made Wednesday freeze for a moment.
Of course, her parents told him about you.
“She’s not, and she won’t shift,” she opened the doors and left before he could reply. Only then did she remember to remind him of one last crucial detail. “And leave the bees alone!” she warned sternly, and just in time as he turned to grab the bees the moment she first stepped outside.
~X~
Thing was more than a little annoying. He actually went to talk to you, traitorous hand. ‘Just talk to her and apologize!’ Thing had the guts to demand that of Wednesday.
“Do you want me to apologize for putting people in danger or for keeping them out of it, make up your mind,” Wednesday was losing her patience with him with every word he said.
‘You miss Y/N!’ he claimed, as if he could understand how she felt.
“Don’t get involved with this, Thing. I won’t warn you again,” she seethed, already feeling the turmoil in her heart due to his bold, albeit true, claim. She did miss having you around, even more so now that she knew what the monster was.
It was ridiculous, how she wanted to share her information with you, yet wanted to keep you as far from the case as possible in order to keep you safe. It was a paradox of sorts. “I have more important business to attend to,” she stopped paying attention to Thing’s persistent attempts to get her to talk to you. She wouldn’t. You made it clear you were angry at her.
You made it clear you didn’t want to see her.
And if this would keep you alive, then this was the best option.
For you, at the very least.
And for Wednesday as well, after all, she’d rather know you were alive and well, than carry the guilt of your death on her consciousness.
~X~
Despite an unwanted interaction with Xavier things were going as planned and Thing opened the safe holding the diary.
Wednesday took it and then a pocket watch caught her eye. “Was that Faulkner’s?” she asked, assuming it was, but somehow she still felt the need to ask.
“Hmm? No, I think it was some raiju’s from way before Faulkner. Faulkner believed it would keep the school safe or something,” Fester told her.
Wednesday frowned, again with a raiju. Knowing her luck it probably belonged to Diego, Goody’s raiju, and she wanted nothing to do with it. But her fingers still brushed against it and her head snapped back.
When Wednesday opened her eyes, she was in the middle of a burning field, Diego, Goody’s raiju, was in his beast form, staring down Crackstone.
“Cursed beast, I shall vanquish you where you stand!” Crackstone yelled, sending torrents of fire toward the blue wolf, yet the raiju remained still, countering the flames with his lightning. It looked like Crackstone was trying to restrain him, but whenever he managed to do it, Diego would simply turn into lightning and move.
Seeing the exhaustion on Crackstone’s face, Wednesday realized they’ve been fighting for a while and the pilgrim was at his limit. And Diego knew that too, as he shifted back into his human form, not a single wound on his body, though it was littered with old scars. “You’re wrong Joseph. I’ll vanquish you, I shall end Goody’s quest for vengeance tonight,” he raised his hand, gathering lightning around it to end the man’s life in one attack. “Your ambush was a mistake.”
His eyes were yellow, and Wednesday thought she figured out how it worked. Red eyes turned to orange when shifting, orange turned to yellow, and yellow to blue, indicating increased heat of lightning that came with shifting into the beast form. The stronger the raiju, the hotter the lightning, she supposed.
But then Crackstone began laughing. “You are a beast cursed by arrogance, be judged by God, my own and your own!”
Diego looked puzzled for a moment, but then a figure appeared behind him. Wearing a battle armor similar to that of a samurai and wearing a cloak to cover the head, the most striking feature of the figure were completely blue eyes and Wednesday recognized them. Those were the same eyes she saw in her vision.
Lightning burst from the figure, forcing Diego to jump to the side and shift, at the very least he was doing much better than you did, as he immediately countered. He fired bolts of lightning from his mouth, destroying the ground around the hooded figure, man, Wednesday guessed judging by the size and shape of Diego’s enemy.
Yet the man merely raised his hand, halting the advances of Diego’s lightning bolts with his own lightning. Was he a raiju too? With his eyes already blue despite not being in the beast form? By Wednesday’s logic it would mean he was stronger than Diego, and from the looks of it that was the case.
Diego landed on the ground and paused, waiting for the man’s attack. It never came, the man was simply content with observing him. Diego’s howl mixed with the sound of thunder as massive amounts of electricity began surrounding him. His body began turning entirely into lightning and he rushed the man, hitting him right in the chest and lifting him off the ground. Diego’s attack was brutal, zapping and slamming into the man from different angles repeatedly and gaining speed and power with every attack.
To finish it, he fired three more lightning bolts from his mouth and landed back on the ground.
Wednesday watched in awe as lightning danced around Diego, following his every whim, and responding to his will. Not a single spark was wasted, he was in complete control, and Wednesday wondered how it would look like when you achieved this kind of control.
The other raiju got up, the cloak covering his head was gone, revealing that it was, in fact, a man. He looked like he was around forty, with blue hair that spiked up as if constantly pushed up by lightning. His smirk revealed sharp teeth, and an angry, almost animalistic look on his face made the sight of him chilling to most people.
The beast and the man clashed, lightning bursting around both of them, destroying and reshaping the field. They rose up to the skies, clashing so fast Wednesday barely managed to keep up with them. She could see Diego biting down on the man’s forearm, yet his teeth didn’t pierce the man’s skin, instead the attack only left Diego open for a lightning strike right to the mouth and the blood coming from it made it clear Diego’s throat got severely damaged.
Yet, Goody’s raiju didn’t stop. He backed away, charging up lightning and forming a spear out of it to send straight at the man. Judging by the intensity of lightning Diego gathered, Wednesday guessed it was one of his stronger abilities, yet the man just caught and crushed the spear in his bare hands.
The man created a tornado of lightning around him and Diego, trapping them both, yet he didn’t seem worried in the slightest as the tornado closed in on them and exploded in a burst of lightning and sparks. That display, done by simply clapping his hands together, was more powerful than anything Wednesday saw you, your father or Diego do, and it left a massive crater on the ground and Diego severely injured and covered in blood. The man didn’t take any damage from his own attack.
Despite taking all those hits, and his own attack, the man just brushed the dirt and dust off his armor, as if asking Diego if that was all he could do. Diego, defiant to his likely end, got back up, much to the man’s clear amusement. The man disappeared, he didn’t even zap like you did, he just vanished and appeared in a burst of lightning next to Diego. His fist, engulfed by lightning, just barely missed Diego, but then an arc of lightning came as a follow-up to the uppercut, catching and wounding Diego.
The wolf howled in pain, whimpering as lightning, probably for the first time in his life, left him paralyzed. What followed was an effortless toying with the wolf raiju, slamming him into the ground, just slightly shifting to the side to dodge the counterattack, and then hitting Diego with another lightning until Goody’s raiju shifted back into his human form.
He didn’t look hurt, and that made Wednesday think the injuries to one form didn’t transfer to the other. The pain probably did, as Diego fell back, writhing on the ground from the aftereffects of lightning strikes he endured.
“Without beast,” Diego gasped, barely able to sit up and though he didn’t finish his sentence Wednesday understood what he meant. The enemy had defeated him without even using the beast form raiju had.
“Beast?” for the first time the raiju spoke. He laughed, throwing his head back and covering his eyes. “You have grown arrogant, my beast!” lightning crackled in the man’s hand. Wednesday didn’t understand what he meant but seeing Diego’s eyes fill with terror she realized Goody’s raiju finally understood something.
“Raijin,” he hung his head low, accepting the defeat and imminent death as lightning struck him. His enemy disappeared in a flash of lightning, and Wednesday watched as Diego’s eyes, blue, not from being a raiju, but from the amount of lightning that struck him, clung to life.
“Diego!” that was Goody’s voice, she made it to the battlefield only to grasp her raiju’s hand as he breathed his last breath.
Wednesday gasped, her vision was over, and she realized Fester and Thing were next to her. Thing stuttered as he asked her if she was okay.
“What happened? You were unconscious for fifteen minutes! Morticia’s visions never lasted that long!” her uncle was equally worried.
“I’m fine,” she said, despising how shaky her voice was, even if most people wouldn’t notice it. She finally knew what attacked you, and considering how easily Diego was defeated it was a miracle that you didn’t get killed at the mayor’s office. But there was no mistaking it. Those blue eyes were the same blue eyes she saw when she touched you that night. And it didn’t make any sense. How was the same person alive over four hundred years later? Or was the power passed down in that form? She didn’t understand it, and she needed to because if that was after you now, she’d need all the information she could get her hands on to make sure you survived.
~X~
“These are some sweet digs. How’d you swing your own single? And where’s the raiju kid?” Fester asked as he looked outside the window of her room.
“My former roommates couldn’t handle my toxic personality,” she refused to answer questions related to you. As she flipped through the pages she was looking for two things, the Hyde and, as much as she wouldn’t admit it, raiju. The Hyde was the first one she found and she showed it to Fester. “Here it is. Faulkner describes Hydes as artists by nature but equally vindictive in temperament. Born of mutation, the Hyde lays dormant until unleashed by a traumatic event or unlocked through chemical inducement or hypnosis. This act causes the Hyde to develop an immediate bond with its liberator, who the creature now sees as its master. It becomes the willing instrument of whatever nefarious agenda this new master might propose.”
“Anyone willing to unlock a Hyde is a next-level sicko,” Fester commented, but that wasn’t important to Wednesday, no, another information was much more crucial to her investigation.
“That means I’m not looking for one killer, but two. The monster and its master,” the knocking on her door made her put the diary away before anyone, likely Thornhill, could see it. And it was Thornhill, luckily, Fester managed to hide in time.
Thornhill sighed as Wednesday approached her. “I didn’t mean to startle you.”
“I was just working on my novel,” she easily lied to cover up what she was actually doing.
“Enid has requested to room with Yoko for the rest of the school year,” Thornhill’s words made Wednesday feel like someone was stabbing her in the back with a serrated knife.
“She did?” she tried to keep her voice neutral, as if she was already expecting this. Somehow, the reality of Enid leaving only now became something she fully understood. Because up until now  Enid’s departure, as well as your own, felt temporary, as if it would end when Enid and you decided you had enough.
“When there’s a falling out, I like to get both girls’ perspectives on what happened, you two seemed as thick as thieves,” Thornhill continued, clearly expecting an answer from Wednesday.
Wednesday turned away and took a few steps to distance herself from Thornhill. “Ultimately, thieves turn on each other. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.”
“Deflect all you want, but you and I both know that you care about Enid. And you have to admit she managed to bring out a spark of warmth in you,” well, Wednesday found that to be rather offensive. “Oh, don’t worry,” Thornhill raised her hand slightly. “Just a tiny spark.”
Wednesday crossed her arms at that, though she remained silent.
“Barely perceptible to the average eye, but I noticed. Part of the dorm experience is making friends with people that you wouldn’t normally connect with. And those friendships often turn into lifelong bonds,” Thornhill was trying to get her to fix things with Enid, but she wasn’t saying a word about you.
Wednesday didn’t need any more of those lifelong bonds, the one her mother claimed she had with you was already enough of a torture, even for her. “I would rather buy a rope.”
“Is it really so difficult for you to admit that you made a friend, and now that she’s gone you might actually miss her?” Thornhill asked, consistently focusing only on Wednesday’s relationship with Enid. Perhaps starting off on the wrong foot with you really did make Thornhill see you as only a lightning beast that could lose control.
“I’ll survive alone, I always have,” Wednesday refused to comply, if Enid made her choice, then so be it.
“Well, if that’s your decision, I’ll submit the forms to Principal Weems,” she seemed disappointed, she even shook her head slightly before turning to leave.
“What about Y/N?” Wednesday asked before she could stop herself.
Thornhill turned around, sighing heavily. “She can’t room anywhere else, so whether Principal Weems forces her to come back, or she willingly comes back here, there’s no other room for her. I managed to keep her absence hidden from Principal Weems, but I suggest the two of you find a solution before other people find out. Acting this recklessly could cause Y/N to shift, and even if she doesn’t, taking this additional risk alone might be enough to get her expelled.”
Wednesday swallowed the lump in her throat as Thornhill left. You were aware of the potential consequences, and dangers of your choice, yet you still made them. Wednesday wouldn’t get involved.
“Raiju kid will be fine,” Fester came up to her with a grin on his face. “If she’s anything like her dad she’s resilient and as adamant on staying in control as Elijah was at her age,” that brought some comfort to Wednesday, but she refused to address him when it came to you.
Once left alone, Wednesday went back to the diary and began flipping through the pages again. Aimlessly she began walking around, the diary in hand, until she sat down on the bed and moved to lie down. Your scent caught her attention and she realized too late that she, once again, went to your bed instead of her own. It wouldn’t hurt to spend the night there again.
So, she continued flipping the pages until she found what she was looking for. Faulkner’s notes on raiju.
The images revealed various beasts, with varying amount of lightning coming from them. Faulkner noted the solitary nature of raiju, their struggle with water, the docile behavior unless there was a storm going on. The beast form, was, in fact, something raiju had no control over, shifting into an animal closest to their nature. The beast form was driven mostly by instinct, unable to speak or fully comprehend human speech. He confirmed Wednesday’s theory on the eye color and the heat of the lightning, and she took note of the control indicator in the beast form. The less lightning came out of raiju’s body while they were in beast form the more in control they were. By the end of the text Wednesday thought she didn’t learn anything new, or significant, other than the level of control and the nature of the beast form, only for the biggest revelation to strike her right at the end.
‘Raiju aren’t natural outcast community, they were originally normies, punished by Raijin to turn into beasts during storms and forced to, during said storms, follow his command. As Raijin created more raiju some escaped, spreading around the world, and passing down the ability to transform.’
Wednesday closed the diary and left it next to your bed, her mind filled with thoughts of you, of your argument. As rain once again began falling she barely stopped herself from going out to get you.
A/N: Surely you didn’t think we’d have raiju without raijin being involved, right? Four chapters to go people!

The first time Tyler saw you, he was half dizzy with exhaustion, covered in blood and naked. His father had just shot him, and he was about to be arrested. So of course, when you stumbled upon him in the woods, and knelt next to him, taking off your hoodie and putting it over his shoulders, with your unnatural eyes and long flowing hair, the thing that came to mind was this:
“Are you a goddess?” He asked you, eyes half lidded, unmoving where he laid on the leaves. You chuckled, pressing a hand to his forehead. Your hands were soft and cold over his overheated skin, a balm against his exhaustion. You two didn’t know each other. To him, you were just another outcast and to you, he was the cute barista at the Weathervane. When Enid had gotten out of the woods, covered in blood and sobbing, something had told you to go looking for the other combatant. Maybe it was destiny, but as his father approached to handcuff him, you had knelt next to the broken boy, making the older man pause.
“Not a goddess.” Your eyes flashed silver under the moonlight. Tyler thought you were mistaken. You had to be a goddess, with eyes like that, and a touch so gentle. Artemis. His mother used to tell him the story when he was a child, of the lone maiden that patrolled the woods, goddess of the hunt and protector of women. Always surrounded by wolves, with silver eyes. The girl he had fought…. Enid. She was a wolf.
“You got pretty eyes.” He raised a weak hand to touch you, and you didn’t flinch, allowing him to drag tired fingers against your cheek. “Are you going to kill me?”
“Why would I…?” You asked, concerned. This boy, he was not okay. He wasn’t making any sense, and he wasn’t as badly hurt for it to be normal. You cupped his head in your hand, searching for a head wound. Maybe he had a concussion?
“You're Artemis. Protector of the woods, women… Enid, she is under your protection, isn’t she?” He dragged his fingers down your cheek, leaving four bloodstained paths on your face. “You are warm.” Tyler gave you a tired grin. “I won’t fight you. I just… make it quick.”
“I’m not Artemis.” You answered him, unable to stop looking at his eyes. Something shifted in the bushes, making you startle. The sheriff. You looked at him. “You can’t arrest him. He is too out of it.”
“I can tell. But I still have to.”
“You won’t put him in chains, right? He is your son.” You pleaded, still on your knees. Tyler’s father was a tall man, and you didn’t think you could stop him if you tried, but seeing this boy, so broken, tugged at your heart. You had a thing for underdogs, after all.
“He is dangerous.” The sheriff argued. “Could rip a tiny thing like you to pieces if he wanted to. The things he could do to my men… The things he has done…”
“I can keep him under control.” You pleaded, taking off your amulet. The man looked unconvinced. Tyler had his eyes half open still, but he was not looking. He seemed unable to focus. “Look.” You closed your eyes, fixing your posture. When you opened again, you weren’t the same girl as before. “Rise.” You ordered Tyler, voice sweet, but with a hint of steel behind the words. It was a cruel thing to do, but much more gentle than chains.
Tyler did as you asked, getting up in unsteady legs. His movements were rigid, like a puppet on a string. It was odd, and painful to see.
“Go to the truck and sit down. Don’t run away.” You ordered, eyes glowing silver. Tyler did as you said, walking there of his own accord.
“What are you?” The Sheriff asked, taking a step back and raising his hands in the hair, as if gesturing surrender.
“A siren.” You said to him. “But don’t worry, I won’t hurt either of you. I just… He is not well.”
“Okay, mind control. Yeah, I can work with that.” The sheriff placed a hand on his gun. “Go to the truck, sit on the passenger side. One wrong order, one odd move, and I will shoot you.”
You did as he ordered. Your heart was beating wildly on your chest. The sheriff scared you, you knew he wouldn’t hesitate. You weren’t too sure on what you had gotten yourself into, but it was bad. Sometimes, doing the right thing felt a little like that.
Summer break comes and go. You don’t know anything about how the boy you helped is faring, but you get to see his trial on TV. It’s disgusting, the coverage this is getting. Like it wasn’t his future they are deciding, but instead some sort of juicy celebrity gossip. The case is high profile, and so it sparks debates about normie - outcast relationships, and the relationships different classes of outcast have between them. Wednesday Addams is in the thick of it because god forbid she is not fighting for the oppressed's rights.
You wish you were as brave as her. Instead, you take to wearing sunglasses, so your eyes don’t get you in trouble.
One day before the semester is expected to start, your parents drop you off in Jericho. They set you up in a nice inn, which unfortunately doesn’t serve any lunch. You decide to walk to the best café in town, the Weathervane.
When you step inside, you come face to face with Tyler.
“Hi.” You say to him, not sure if you are going to speak about what happened in the woods, if he remembers the twisted way you used your powers to help him. He looks thinner, hair more messy, eyes darker than you are used too. He drinks you in as you walk to the register, like you are the firsts drop of water he has after weeks in a desert. Tyler looks you up and down, taking your scuffled shoes, the jeans you are wearing, the simple shirt and the ever present sunglasses.
“Hi.” He answers with a blush. “What can I get you?”
“Umm, a latte and a sandwich?” You ask him, fingers drumming nervously on the countertop. There is another barista with him, a pretty girl with long straight hair. “Is she new?” You ask him, desperate to get him to talk to you. It seems he won’t talk about what happened that night, but Tyler doesn’t look scared, either.  He passes her the cup and the sandwich to heat up, and she gives you a curious look. Not many people wear sunglasses in Jericho, where it is dark and gloomy all year long.
“Yeah, I’m training her. This is my last day.”
“Oh?”
“Got enrolled at Nevermore.” He grimaces as he says it. “Guess I’ll see you around?” Tyler scratches the back of his neck, and you pay him the latte and the sandwich.
“Yeah.” You say, all awkward. You are saved by the bell because then the other girl screams.
“Latte and a panini for Artemis!” And you laugh because what else can you do? Tyler remembers, then. And he is not scared of you, or what your voice can do if he is teasing you. He gives you a shy smile in return, and you grab your latte and sandwich and walk out the Weathervane, giving him a last, complicit smile.
You keep bumping into each other after that. Tyler is feared by the Nevermore population, but never you. You don’t get why they act so scared, the boy can barely hold a conversation with you without blushing, voice getting all high and squeaky. He is a shy little thing, you think. Nothing to be scared of.
Tyler carries your bookbag for you, opens doors and slips cute little notes in your pockets. It is awfully cute, and you love him for it. Tyler is head over heels for you.
When he finally finds the courage to ask you on a date, you realize all the shyness was because he liked you. You get to see more of his personality after that, and you like him. Tyler is funny, charming, and so considerate. He is the best boyfriend you ever had.
And when it comes to sex… It is more of the same.
“Shhh, keep quiet.” You say to Tyler, pulling him inside your window. “If my dorm mom finds out, she would have my head.”
“She wouldn’t.” He jumps down the window frame, with a cheeky smile. You love that he has gotten more comfortable with you, comfortable enough to tease you. He takes a look across the room, and you eye, self-conscious, the messy papers over your desk. Other than the mess there, your room is like any other, bed, closet, and a mirror near the door.
“Like you know her so well?” You hug him and kiss his cheek. It is true that the new dorm mom is much more relaxed than Mrs. Thornhill. She doesn’t care if boys are on the dorms before curfew, as long as they are out when the night falls. It’s a stupid rule, like people are unable to have sex at other hours that aren’t the nights.
“Oh, shut up.” Tyler pulled away from the hug, looking at you curiously.  “Are all sirens this pretty?”
“I don’t know, actually.” You smile at him, the teasing smile still in place. “What do you think? There is Bianca, and Divina…” You start naming them, eager to know what his answer will be.
“No. It’s a you thing. “ Tyler interrupts, and before you can argue, he kisses you. This is his thing, telling you are so pretty, so smart, all the time. If someone asks about his love language, you can say undoubtedly it's words of affirmation, followed quickly by acts of service. This boy worships the floor you walk on, and it is so hot you think you might combust. You kiss back, biting his lower lip. Tyler opens up for you, easily. “So fucking pretty.”
“Oh, I know. I am a goddess.” You laugh, quoting him.
“Let me worship you, then.” Tyler has this serious expression on his eyes, and you know then he isn’t kidding.
“Tyler….”
“Let me, please.” He kisses your forehead softly. “Come on, up the bed you go.”
He takes his time undressing you. He kisses each of your eyelids as he tugs your tie off. Then, kissing your nose as he undoes the first button of your blouse, your breath hitching. “Look at you, you are gorgeous.” His fingers trace your eyes, sliding down your cheekbones. He undoes a second button. Everything is moving too slowly for your liking, and so, you decide to take matters in your own hands.
“You don’t have to…” You pull away just enough to open the rest of the buttons on your blouse, quickly shrugging it off. His eyes go to your breasts, covered by your bra. But still, Tyler doesn’t make any kind of move towards them.
“So impatient. Why do you always want to rush things?” Tyler traces your lips with one of his fingers, keeping you quiet. “Normally, I would say I love your quick mind, but sometimes it’s good to take things slow.” He presses a kiss to your ear, and blows a little puff of air against it, making you tremble. “Don’t you agree?” He whispers.
“Maybe. But you do realize you don’t have to treat me like glass, right?”
“I’m not treating you like glass. I’m treating you like one should treat something precious because that’s what you are to me.” Tyler states, running his fingers down your jaw. His touch is quickly followed by kisses, down your jaw and to your neck. “Breathtaking.”
“Fine.” You grumble, crossing your arms over your chest. And, hey, if the motion makes it, so he gets an eyeful of your cleavage, you are only human.
“I’ll make it worth your while, I promise.” Another kiss is pressed against your skin, this time to your shoulder. Tyler takes his time, making his way to your hand. He nuzzles your elbow, kisses turning open-mouthed. He grabs your wrist, lifting your forearm to press kisses there. “Your skin is so soft.” Tyler is well shaven, and so, the feeling of his lips against your skin is smooth. You shiver at the way he is mouthing to your wrist, eyes dark. There is something there, something so intimate, it doesn’t feel right to watch. You press your free hand to your face, hiding it from view.
“Don’t get shy on me now, sweetheart.” Tyler says, pulling at your hand a pressing a kiss in your palm. He follows the grooves and lines of it with his tongue. “This is your life line.” He says, holding your fingers open. “And this, is your love line.”
“How do you know so much?” You ask, captivated by the way his eyes glitter in the low light.
“I picked it up somewhere.” Tyler shrugs, and kisses each one of your fingertips. He mouths along your other arm, doing the same path but in reverse, until he hits your bra strap. Slowly, he pulls it down, kissing your shoulder.
“I love you.” You say, shyly. “So much.”
“Love you too.” Tyler runs his fingers down your throat, stopping briefly to caress your collarbones. His fingers go lower, between the valley of your breasts, over your stomach. He kisses your nape, pushing your hair to one side. Tyler’s mouth is hot against your back, against your shoulder blades. You can help but shiver at the gentleness. His hand hits the button of your skirt, and he does quick work of removing it. You can feel his lips running along your spine, until they hit the waistband of your panties. Tyler removes them tenderly.
He rubs at your hipbones, hands warm against your skin. Tyler kisses them with an open mouth, hungry. You can’t help but smirk. He is getting impatient too. Tyler pushes you, so you are sitting near the edge of the bed with your feet on the floor. Then, he kneels, facing your legs. You card your finger through his hair, already fluffy from all his moving around. He looks up at you and smiles.
“Beautiful.” But instead of kissing you where you want the most, he mouths at your thighs, and then to your knees, all the way to your feet. He presses chaste kisses to your ankles, and then, he slides a hand between your parted legs. Tyler rubs a finger back and forth over your slit, gently. You moan at the touch, canting your hips just so, in the hope his finger will slip inside. But Tyler doesn’t let you. Instead, he parts your folds, running the tip of his finger over your clit. “You smell so good. And you always make the prettiest sounds.”
“Tyler, please…” You beg.
“Don’t rush me, sweetheart.” Tyler lets his head drop, hiding his face where your hip meets your thigh, inhaling deeply. “I bet you taste sweet.” Then, he moves his head, licking a strip over your hole.
“What’s the verdict?” You ask him, breathless. Your thighs shake. You feel the impulse to close them, but Tyler’s hands, as if he can tell what you are thinking, grasp your thighs.
“Better than honey.” He licks at your folds again, lazily. “But I want to show you something…”
“What?” You ask. Tyler doesn’t answer, starting to take off his clothes efficiently. You try to help, but he shakes his head.
You go to obey him, locking your arms around his neck and stepping over his open thighs.
“Don’t. Tonight is all about you.” When he is naked, he sits down on the foot of the bed, almost diagonally. It is an odd position, the one he chooses. Tyler’s erection looks painful, red, and leaking, but he makes no movement towards it. “Sit on me.”
“No, sweetheart.” He gently pushes you away. “Facing the mirror.”
You understand, then, why he decided to sit there. This way, when you sit on his cock, he has the perfect view of how your pussy swallows it, how your mouth falls open at the stretch and how your thighs quiver.
“Tyler.” You moan, eyes closing.
“No, none of that.” Tyler grasps at your jaw, gently directing it towards the mirror. “Eyes open. Look how good you look. Look how I see you.”
You risk a look in the mirror then. The woman who locks eyes with you, she is something else. She might very well be a goddess, with how beautiful she looks. Her eyes are pure silver, with blown out pupils, so big they almost swallow the pools of mercury they are in. Her hair cascades down her back, loose. In her cheeks spreads a healthy flush, her chest rises tantalizing with every breath. Her skin glistens with sweat and her lips part open into sweet agony. The woman in the mirror, she is no Artemis. No virgin goddess there. She is something else. And she can’t be you.
“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” Tyler says, carding his fingers through your hair, brushing it away from your face, tenderly. “Look at this perfect face.” You look, in a trance, how he runs his fingers down your cheek. You can feel it too, but the image in the mirror has you transfixed. “This pretty mouth.” His thumb rubs at your lower lip, eyes following the motion in the reflection. “This wonderful mind.” He kisses your temple, softly.
“Tyler, do something.” You beg, arching your back against him. You roll your hips slowly, but Tyler doesn’t budge.
“Those pretty eyes.” Tyler says, his other hand coming to hold down your hips like a vice. You know he is strong. Someone told you once he could break you in half without even trying, and it is true. His arm easily holds you down in place. “This gorgeous chest.” He rolls one of your nipples between his fingers, making you whimper. You are going to go mad. “Your gorgeous soul.”
“Tyler, please…” You insist, but your eyes are locked in the way his hand is cupping your breast. For all your begging, you aren’t really trying to move. This is a form of exquisite torture, and you wouldn’t change it for the world. You can tell he knows because Tyler drags his tongue over your earlobe, until you are shivering and trembling in his grasp.
“This perfect pussy.” Tyler says, like if he too is submerged in this trance, like he can’t just stop admiring you. His hand goes to rub at your clit, making circles around it. He kisses your neck, peppering it with kisses. You throw your head back, and he makes a tutting noise. “Eyes in the mirror, sweetheart.”
“You are spectacular.” He says when you open your eyes again. Tyler kisses you then. “My perfect girl. My goddess. I love you.”
You keep looking. He keeps doing circles over your clit and starts rolling his hips just enough to press where you need him to. Your lips part, a low moan leaving them. It takes a while, but you feel the way your muscles start tensing before you can see them in the mirror, how your stomach gets tight, how your chest flushes. The last thing you see before reaching your orgasm is Tyler’s wicked grin against your shoulder.
“Love you too.” You mutter, letting him take more of your weight. “I think you broke me.”

At last.
Wednesday had found your weakness.
Ever since you 'harassed' Wednesday with compliments the other day, the raven-haired girl has declared war between the two of you; and she's determined to come out as a winner.
Quality time. Acts of services. Gifts. Words of affirmation. Wednesday has tried it all—to the best she can—and none seem to have affected you at all.
Of course, at first, you were caught a little off guard.
When Wednesday finally brought up your request for her to tutor you for the upcoming math exam, you had been ecstatic—though admittedly a little suspicious. You had practically begged her to do so for ages, but after your most recent revelation the other day, she had said no to any offer to spend time together, just the two of you.
But now? She's the one who asks if you still want to do it, and when you have said yes, she wastes no time, practically dragging you to your dorm room.
You half-expected Wednesday to pull you in for a make-out session as soon as she slammed the door after you. But nope. She went straight to the balcony to grab the extra chair you put out there and took a seat next to your desk.
Huh. Guess you really are studying.
.
.
.
"-so the angle of the special right side of the triangle is 183?"
Wednesday scoffed irritatedly. "No. Absolutely not. The total angle of a triangle is 180. How would one single angle of a triangle exceed the total number? Do it again."
To your brain, what Wednesday has said only sounds like an incoherent string of jumbled sentences. You groaned out loud and banged your head against the desk.
"I don't want to do this anymore," you dragged out the last word, "lets just do something else that's more fun and less..." Your brows furrowed as you tried to find the right word, "...numbery."
"Numbers are fun. Formulas and logic ties in together pleasantly and produce a definite answer. A right answer."
Unlike you. There's no 'right' answer for you.
You huffed in frustration. "Of course, you'd think that, Wens."
The damned nickname.
"You're smart and beautiful, and you use words that I don't understand—like just now—so of course you'll always come up with a right answer." You toy with the pages of the trigonometry workbook Wednesday had 'gifted' you earlier, missing the dark crimson color painting your girlfriend's cheeks.
"I can never do that," you sigh as your head looks up at the ceiling, "I can't find the right answer."
Wednesday can find answers in even literature and paintings—the fruits of human thoughts that are up for various different interpretations with no set answers. But even works like Mona Lisa can't dream of rivaling the challenge you presented her.
A challenge to break you.
Wednesday tapped at your desk, demanding your attention. You disobeyed, eyes too busy trailing the movements of the spider hanging from your dorm room ceiling.
You're driving her crazy.
"...look at me," Wednesday calls out your name with an icy tone, and you snap your gaze at her, body tense. "Now, listen. You're hopeless-"
"Yeah, yeah, I know. No need to rub it in, geez."
"You're hopeless," Wednesday repeats her words, but this time her gaze stays on yours, unrelenting. You shut up.
"and I don't think I can help. Nobody can." Her voice carries an unnerving certainty as she continues, "Except yourself."
"Wait, did you try to encourage me just now?" Your voice is dripping with mischief, eyebrows raised teasingly.
If not for the internal war she desperately needs to win against you, Wednesday would've stuck the pen she's holding and jammed it in your eyes.
Priorities, Wednesday reminded herself. Maddening priorities.
"Think of it however you want," Wednesday unwillingly chokes out, "but I will not let you come out of this room. Not until we're done."
"That's cute, love. It really is." You scribble on the paper absentmindedly, "but even with your sweet, sweet words of encouragement, I doubt I can claw myself out of the hole I've dug myself into, unless..."
Wednesday sees your gaze slowly moving to hold her own; there's a glint of perversity in your eyes, and she knows you're about to say something that would make her wretched black heart pumps uncontrollably and burst.
"...you kiss me with those tempting burgundy lips of yours."
No, no, no. Not this again.
"And not just a quick peck, I mean a kiss. A full-blown make-out session where our breaths would mingle, and I could feel your nose bumping against my cheek. That kind of kiss."
You chuckled lightly, brows raising in challenge. And that's all Wednesday needs before she makes up her mind.
It has finally come to this. The dreaded physical touch. The one Wednesday had oh-so-desperately tried to avoid, hoping that it wouldn't be the one to work on you.
But here she is, about to make the devil's pack with her disgustingly cunning lover.
Wednesday's about to lose, unless—
—a knock. Followed by a "Wednesday! I've got your note from Thing. Can I come in?" from outside the door.
Your smug face drops and the colors drain, contrasting Wednesday's eery victorious leer, and she grabs your arm and pulls you flush into her embrace.
"You know what? Your wish is granted, mio caro." The term of endearment sounds vicious in her low voice, and you shudder; eyes tearing apart from Wednesday's sharp gaze.
"Yes, come in, Enid." Wednesday shouts loud enough for her roommate to hear before gripping your jaw—your scarlet face now so close to Wednesday's you can feel her warm breath tickles your face as she whispers;
"I win."
Wednesday shoves her tongue in, and the door blasts open.
Shit.

It was an awful day outside.
The sky was all baby blue and the sun was shining warmly over the lake's water. Wednesday could see everyone running around all the way from the round window of her dorm.
She liked to keep as far away from the commotion as possible on days like these. But Enid had other plans when she dragged her roommate outside, going on about how sad it was to be cooped up inside on a day like this.
Though Wednesday was quickly ditched when Ajax came into the picture, and that's when she spotted you.
It was genuinely, annoyingly, one of the most beautiful sights Wednesday had ever witnessed. You were leaning back on your elbows under a huge tree, lips moving softly into words she couldn't know; your skin was mostly hidden from sunlight, but a few rays still managed to catch your hair, painting the strands into a golden glow as the glistening of the lake's water in front of you framed your profile. It almost got Wednesday enjoying the bright and warm weather for a second, but the rest of the world came back into focus when her gaze settled on the girl beside you.
Why did it look so intimate? Why was Yoko touching you with such grace? Why did you let her?
Wednesday had always been observant, noticing details to a minimum to find weaknesses and points of advantage, so of course, she noted how your sunglasses matched the ones the vampire was wearing. Wednesday caught her mind wandering as to how it happened; were you in her dorm room when you took them? Did Yoko put them on you, her hands touching the apples of your cheeks as she did so?
She kept her distance to keep her heart safe, so why does it hurt so much to be this far away now? Why is it so awful to see you with someone else, so happy and lively? Why does Wednesday feel like you're being stolen from her, when you're not even hers, to begin with?
There were so many goddamn questions flooding Wednesday's mind and making her feel less and less in control. It got her clenching her fists, breath coming out shallow as she nagged on her bottom lip until the metallic taste of blood brushed her tongue.
Goody warned that she was destined to be alone, so maybe she shouldn't be surprised if one day someone else gets to keep you. Doesn't mean she needs to like it, or go down without a fight.
With each step Wednesday took towards you, the more she hated herself, because it felt childish and naive, maybe even futile. But deep inside her little black heart, she also knew she would never stop torturing herself about it if she just turned away.
So she played her cards, and now that you were walking side by side with her — your shoulder bumping into hers because the concept of personal space changed when it was just you and her — Wednesday's lips parted with a long sigh she'd been holding since laying eyes on you on that picnic blanket.
Dead leaves and branches snapped under her boots, the bee keeper's shed slowly coming into view amidst the dense trees. She glanced at you, blinking slowly as her features softened for you, for you, for you always.
"What did you need me for?" You eventually asked, all innocent curiosity and flushed cheeks from the sun.
"Eugene wanted you to check on the new hive." Wednesday lied easily.
"Are the bees okay? Did something happen?" The look in your eyes mimicked the urgency of your tone.
Wednesday rolled her eyes, though the action held more adoration than anything else. "That's the whole point of checking in on them, is it not?"
The old wooden door of the shed creaked as she opened it for you and let it close again once you were both inside; it was a little darker, stripes of sunlight coming in through the cracks and holes in the walls, illuminating the organized mess of the shed.
"Touche," you mumbled, making a beeline for the new bees that were still settling in. You and Eugene liked to keep them inside for a while before relocating them to their definitive hive outside, especially when a new Queen is added.
You could feel the weight of Wednesday's gaze on your back the whole time as you checked the little ones with a faint smile, and when nothing out of the ordinary was noticed, you started to wonder — to hope — that maybe this didn't have anything to do with the bees at all.
There was shuffling behind you, steps coming closer to you yet slow and hesitant in their movement. You would have known it was Wednesday even if she wasn't the one who brought you here. From this close, the feeling of her was unmistakable; it was almost like your soul already knew the shape of hers.
You felt a touch, a barely there graze of fingertips on your elbow. You knew that it was Wednesday's silent plea for you to focus on her. Solemnly.
Oh.
You turned around, twisting on your heels and almost forgetting how to breathe, she indeed came closer, you noted.
You didn't want to look desperate — Wednesday was closer, her perfume numbing all your other senses; there was a lock of her hair slightly caught on her lips, the freckles over her nose and cheeks much more apparent — though it took everything on you to not cup her cheeks and pull her closer still.
A beat passed with you wondering whether she'd ever feel the same — with you not knowing she was already in just as deep, if not deeper, than you — watching how the slivers of light reflected off of her dark irises, how her eyebrows relaxed and her lips quirked in the faintest of smiles. With time you came to know her mannerisms, the little telltale of emotions on her that you adored, that you could spend hours admiring. This was new.
"You're so pretty," the words came out in a breath before you could hold onto them.
They got Wednesday blinking multiple times, as if a dandelion had been blown in front of her, its petals grazing her cheeks, leaving testimonies of affection and delicacy.
You wondered if she liked the feeling, or if it got her nauseous and annoyed.
Wednesday breathed in deeply, her tongue running over her bottom lip in motion that you followed. She wasn't looking at you as she said; "I remember the last time we were alone here," she spoke carefully, at the same time that her thumb curled around the belt loop of your shorts.
From her avoidance to look into your eyes to the way she insisted on touching you, it was somehow foreign territory. From all the other times you've sneaked away with Wednesday, this is easily the most intimate.
"I like that memory." Wednesday finished, tone dripping with something sweet, akin to honey but better.
Before you could even think, your fingertips were already tracing the outline of her jaw, like a satellite following the pull of gravity. You'd never heard her say anything that resembled attachment, let alone this. Part of you wanted to ask what triggered it, or where was the punchline.
Wednesday kissed you first; lips tender against yours as her nose nudged your cheek. Her urge got you stumbling backward until your back hit the shelf behind you.
You forgot any and all types of rational thinking.
————
"No," you grumbled, closing the bottle of nail polish, "no, stop fucking complaining, you're the one who asked me to do this."
You were laying on your belly on top of Wednesday's bed, her plush, comfy black comforter wrinkling slightly with the way Thing was gesturing erratically in front of you.
"And, I made it pretty clear I wasn't the best at it," you raised an eyebrow at him. Just because it was a little smudged on the sides doesn't mean he has to make a big deal out of it. The dark purple does look nice with his skin.
"Wednesday, tell him how it looks nice."
The raven-haired girl carefully picked up a filled page off of her typewriter and laid it down on the pile by her side. She spared a half-second glance towards you and Thing before inserting a new page to resume the noisy typing of her novel. "It looks dreadful."
You groaned exasperatedly, burying your head under the covers.
"I love it." Wednesday finished.
"Well there you have it," you hummed, clumsily getting up from her bed, "at least someone likes it."
Thing relented, signaling to you that it wasn't that bad.
It got you chuckling, for only a hand, he was quite something. With your palm over your chest, you mouthed a thank you to him before turning to Wednesday.
She was focused on her writing; her eyebrows just a tad furrowed, eyes sharp over the ink that was set on paper, her lips pulled thin as her fingertips skillfully pressed over the letters. Selfishly, you wanted to pull out your phone and take a picture, stash away this memory just for you. She probably wouldn't like that though, and as your mother used to tell you; memories exist outside of time. You could be back here and now anytime you wanted.
Some might think that Wednesday's side of the room is morbid and dead compared to the burst of colors that is Enid's side. You saw it differently; her hoodie was thrown over the bed, from earlier when she came in; there is a potted cactus sitting on the bedside table, beside the big round window, you gave it to her a few weeks ago and it still a vivid green; her cello rests beside her wardrobe, its case half open from when she practiced last night; the bin from under her desk is almost overflowing with balls of paper, signs of a dead end on her novel that she, apparently, has just found a way around.
If you look closely enough, Wednesday's side of the room is just as full of life as Enid's is. Each corner has a little bit of her, of her personality for you to discover. And just recently you've been allowed to. Honestly, it's still a little overwhelming.
You've been in her room before, countless times because of Enid, but never because Wednesday had invited you. It caught you by surprise when she — in her own nonchalant and cryptic way — asked you to come back with her a few days ago. A part of you always thought she would never want to entangle your personal lives more than they already were, so it did catch you a bit off guard when she yanked you from Yoko's side in the hallway and just… didn't let go.
Every day since, you've been spending more time by her side. None of you had quite addressed why yet.
You slowly walked to Wednesday's side, with every three clicks of the typewriter you took one step. Your gaze shifted from her to the recently written pile of pages on the desk.
Wednesday's fingers hovered over the buttons when she noticed you looking. She strived to keep her face impassive even when her breathing felt stuck to her throat.
Shit. She thought to herself, did you have to come snooping right when that page is on the top?
"Is there a new character in your novel?" You asked, lightly tracing your fingertips over the black ink, mainly over the lines in which Viper was described holding the hands of an unnamed girl.
Wednesday got up in a quick motion, her chair harshly scrapping the dark wood floor as she stepped in front of you, blocking your view of her story. "No, I… She's not important." She explained, looking at you through her eyebrows in an almost daring way.
You were about to open your mouth to inquire more, but three knocks on the door stopped you.
Both you and Wednesday looked towards it. She took a step away from you, her back bumping the desk and causing a few pencils to roll over, as if just realizing how close you two were — as if you'd never been much closer than that.
Wednesday cleared her throat, taking swift steps to the door and pulling it open only to reveal Yoko on the other side, round sunglasses resting above her nose and a cheeky grin on her dark-painted lips.
"What do you want?" Wednesday all but growled, her knuckles going white around the door handle.
"I'm here for that one," Yoko gestured towards you, before tilting her head so her eyes could properly find yours, "due date is next week Y/N, last I checked we're still a pair, come on lovergirl."
The nickname held no bad intentions other than to tease you for suddenly being glued to Wednesday's side. But if looks could kill, Wednesday would have Yoko six feet under already.
Begrudgingly, you picked up your backpack, giving Thing a fist bump before walking to the door.
You stopped by Wednesday, naturally reaching out to touch the back of her hand with yours. Her skin was all silk-like smooth as you hooked your pointer finger with hers.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" You asked only for her to hear.
Pathetically, Wednesday dreaded the thought of you leaving with someone else. She only nodded, giving your finger a barely-there squeeze before you walked away.
And when Yoko put an arm around your shoulders, she almost knocked the whole building out of place with the way she slammed her door.
————
The smell of coffee and freshly baked goods was ever-present in Weathervane, the place held this warmth to it, all cinnamon and brown sugar. Maybe that's why it was your favorite place in town.
You and Yoko sat by one of the booths beside the big glass windows, watching the people walk by on the sidewalk as a light drizzle painted the streets a darker color.
Your spoon clicked against your mug every time you mixed up your cappuccino. There was a small frown on your eyebrows, your back hitting the plush fabric of your seat; "yeah but like, why?"
Yoko let go of the straw in her drink with a pop, she shrugged, "not sure."
"So someone just told you oh by the way if you eat anything with garlic you might just end up in the hospital, and you just went with it no questions asked?" You tilted your head to the side as a puppy would, a faint smile coming to your lips.
"I mean," the vampire leaned back, strands of her straight hair going over her sunglasses, "back then I didn't give much of a shit, and since then it has happened to me enough times that I know it's true so, no I never asked about the whys."
A waiter passed by you holding a recently baked pie, the warm smell of apples invading your nostrils. You briefly considered ordering a slice. "I'd be curious about the whys." You mumbled, your lips grazing the edge of your mug before you took a sip.
Yoko smirked, her fangs prodding at her lower lip, "look it up then."
"We have, there's nothing."
"That's because it's something we know since the dark ages."
You hummed, "talk about blind trust."
Placing your mug on the table, you lazily turned your head to the side to look out into the street, only to be met with the piercing eyes of Wednesday staring right into your soul from the other side of the glass window.
Your hand bumped into your mug with the way you jumped in your seat, spilling a bit of your drink, "shit," you cursed under your breath, hearing the pounding of your heart in your ears.
"Don't scare me like that," you exclaimed to Wednesday, motioning wildly to the cappuccino stain on the table.
All the raven-haired girl did was raise an unimpressed eyebrow at you, probably not understanding a word of what you were saying.
"You two, I swear to god…" Yoko giggled, watching you amusedly.
"Don't." You pointed a finger at her.
From the sidewalk, Wednesday visibly huffed before turning around to carefully make her way inside.
"Yeah, I'm gonna take that as my cue to go to the bathroom, because she," Yoko told you, finishing her drink before gesturing behind her to where the bell above the door dinged as Wednesday came in, "looks like a damn storm cloud."
"Yeah very funny," you whispered back, to which you only received a salute from Yoko as a response as she walked away.
Wednesday made her way around the tables and to you, her arms straight by her side and face impassive. Her eyes never left you, she choose to sit beside you on the booth instead of in front of you, her shoulder brushing yours as her hands rested neatly on her lap.
"Hey you," you smiled something shy, feeling the familiar way your cheeks warmed up and your stomach filled with butterflies for having her this close. "I'm happy you're-"
"I couldn't find you at school," Wednesday stated before you could finish, her gaze sneaking from your eyes to your lips.
Your hands became slick with perspiration, words tangled at the tip of your tongue. She was looking for you, came all this way for you. Maybe it shouldn't have made you as happy as it did.
"You were looking for me?" You dared ask, tone filled with tender hope and something else, all warm and sweet, a feeling you've been trying to keep at bay since she first kissed you.
Wednesday gulped, her jaw tensing as she averted her gaze with a slow blink. One of your hands was resting on top of the table, fidgeting with the edge of a napkin; was it too bad that she felt like holding it?
"I uh- I'm sorry I didn't say anything," you said when she didn't answer, "Yoko wanted to go out for a bite and asked me to tag along."
There was an instant coldness to you when Wednesday shifted on her seat, separating her shoulder from yours, "she asked you out?"
"I mean, yeah but-"
"And you said yes?"
Your lips hung open for a beat where you simply looked at Wednesday; her dark eyes shining under the orange lights, droplets of rain still clinging to her black hair, and for the first time, no walls up around her heart. But maybe it was your fault that it was not for the right reasons.
Wednesday breathed through her nose, it sounded much like a sniff and she hated it; "don't let me spoil your date." She got up so fast that she was halfway to the door when you scrambled to go after her.
"Wait, Wednesday wait," you called, jogging to catch up to her and almost knocking over a guy who was carrying two big mugs of hot chocolate.
You took hold of her hand without thinking, walking around her to block her path a second before she reached the door handle.
She didn't return the hold you had on her hand and it stung, but you carried on almost desperately; "not a date. This is not a date, you don't have to be jealous or-"
"I don't care." Wednesday yanked her hand away, her words so cold that she almost convinced herself that they were true. "The fact that you could even think I would feel anything remotely close to that for you is ridiculous at best."
It was already a scene, you and Wednesday could feel the not-so-discreet eyes of almost all the customers on you, forks with pieces of pie and mugs with coffee stopped midair as they watched the show.
You involuntary curled in on yourself because of the unwanted attention. Wednesday didn't seem to mind.
"Please can we talk about this somewhere else?" You asked quietly, your sneaker tapping the floor rhythmically.
"There's nothing to talk about." Wednesday simply said, but the words were pushed out forcefully, bitter on her tongue and razor-sharp around her already bleeding heart. They hurt, but at least this was a pain that Wednesday could control.
You took a step closer to her, hands itching to touch her in any way but she took a step away from you.
"We have nothing worth talking about."
With that Wednesday walked around you and into the now pouring rain, leaving behind everything that could've been.

Sick.
Wednesday Addams X GN! Sick! Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When you’re sick, Wednesday ‘begrudgingly’ takes care of you.
You’re her partner in crime, you need to get better as soon as possible. That’s why she went out of her way to make you home made chicken noodle soup, and because she wanted to practice her slicing skills. No other reason at all.
Luckily, her immune system is as solid as a grave stone, so you can basically use her as an ice pack to keep your overly flushed body cool. She’s like your cuddly corpse.
Wednesday has always disliked touch, but with you? She doesn’t mind. You know her boundaries and you’ve always respected them.
Besides, she quite likes it when you curl yourself into her, head resting on her chest. It fills her little black heart with disgusting ooey gooey love. She’s miserable. She loves it and you.
If you’re being a brat and not taking the medicine, she will threaten to withhold your daily dose of Wednesday kisses - that always gets you to take the pills or be spoon fed that gross liquid.
Oh, how you adore your girlfriend doting on you in her own special way.
Like going to the store to get more medicine when you’ve taken it all and fighting five different people because its flu season and there’s only one box of high dosage flu and cold left. Wednesday does not care if she made the random grandmother cry, her darling sparrow is coughing so much the she herself can barely sleep.
Maybe while she’s out she’ll get you something cuddle while she’s gone. Just a sweet gift to cheer you up. You like those… squishmallows, right? Well, this black cat one has your name written all over it. Even if she did snatch it right in front of a child who was pointing at it to get their mother to buy it with their obnoxious cries.
Making you tea is something easy enough to do, she’ll put on the kettle she got from Enid while starting up her coffee machine. Even if you hate tea, she will insist you drink it.
There is no arguing with Wednesday, she’ll stare you down until you’re six feet under. Oh, how that stare brings butterflies to your tummy.
And so, you drink your tea and she drinks her coffee while reading through the morning’s newspaper, looking for any weird occurrences.
When you’re sick, she basically prefers to do next to everything for you. Acts of service is her love language, she can’t help it. You’re very weak and vulnerable right now, she views it as an absolute privilege to still be allowed by your side.
She runs you a bath, joins you in it, and even softly washes and rinses your hair. Maybe she sneaks a kiss or two in.
Her nimble fingers massaging your muscles that are tensed from laying in bed all day.
Nighttime has to be your new favorite when sick, though.
Because here you are, curled up with her and she’s curled up with you. She holds you as if she wants to protect you from all the dangers of the world or from sudden possession.
Who knew Wednesday Addams could be such a softie?
A secret only you know.

To be alone
The Hyde is looking for Wednesday Addams, everyone knows this. But you're not scared of this. Nor of her. Pairings: Wednesday Addams x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You see, i intent to make this a series and is going to be +18, i guess, but for this one the warnings are gonna be mentions of blood and fights. That's all i guess. also: i did not proofread, y'all!!! I'm sorry if you find any mistakes
Tumblr media
You always were an observer. Always. It was a curse and a blessing.
You were born with this quiet trait and people often took it as if you were spacing out or were just disconnected with everyone else all the time. To be honest, most of the time you felt disconnected with everyone else, yes, but you were always aware of everything. You just chose to not get involved with things that weren’t of your concern.
But when you saw her, you could not help it. There were something more than magic and attractive about the new raven student girl of Nevermore Academy.
Wednesday Addams. The one and only.
You could never be sure what made you - and let’s be honest - half of the school so magnetized by the small girl. The same mysterious and gorgeous amount of energy that Wednesday carried with her made you and the other fascinated, the other half of the school were just afraid of the strong but small girl.
Not only because of her personallity, but because of the monster that was seeking for her.
The Hyde.
You were scared for her, but not of her. Never of her.
But you never ever expected that she would notice you.
You, who show up little and speak even less.
But that was what happened. Completely out of nowhere she showed up by your side, taking you by surprise and filched a little. Just like she expected, of course.
“Don’t you sleep?” she asked. You were sat by the lake, looking at the white reflection of the Moon on the water. The only sound present was the wind that occasionally made you shiver a little, the weather was the way you liked. But now, Wednesday’s voice was present as well and her figure also made you shiver a bit, for different reasons.
“Yes”, you answered looking up to her. She was looking straight ahead not at you. You look at the lake again, like she was doing. “You?”
“It’s late. You shouldn’t be here by yourself” she pointed out, still not looking at you. It wasn’t the fact that she didn’t answers your question, was the statement itself, like she was concerned about you somehow. That thought made you frown a little and look back at her. “You know there is a monster out there, attacking people”.
“Do you even know me?” you scoff, Wednesday looked at for the first time. O as far as you know, it’s the first time, because just like you, Wednesday is an observer. A pro one. Like a hawk and am owl, nothing can escape from her and that was what you were feeling right now looking back at your reflection on her black irises. Like a pray.
“Your Y/N Y/L/N, a very brilliant shapeshifter for your age… or so the teachers say” she stated. “Your also Enid’s so I inevitably heard about you, even if that wasn’t my willing”.
“Sorry to hear that Enid tortured you” you smiled without showing your teeth.
Wednesday looked you, I mean, really watched you. She was watching how your hair was softly dancing with the wind accompanied by the moonlight. She loved the feeling of solitude, but to be alone with you right now almost felt as good.
“It wasn’t torture, I usually enjoy pain. But hear her bubbling is not the good kind. It’s worse than anything”.
“So the big Addams does have a weak point. This is a real surprise”.
“Tell anyone and that will be the last thing you’ll ever say” she fiercely said. You raised your hands in defense, smiling at her. Once again Wednesday felt a weird feeling on her guts, seeing you smile. Why couldn’t she figure it out this? You?
“I guess you’re right” you said standing up. Patting your clothes to clean them. “I should go back to my dorm. It’s getting late.”
Wednesday nod one time.
“Why are you here, Wednesday?”
“I was just passing by”
“And suddenly came to the exactly place that I was. The other side of the Ophelia Hall, almost at the florets. It’s very far”
“I couldn’t sleep, was just wondering”
You squinted your eyes.
“You? Just wondering?” you scoffed, crossing your arms around your chest. “You don’t seem to be the person who even breath without thinking about. All your movements have a reason why”.
“You almost talk like you know me” Wednesday slightly lifted her perfect eyebrow. It was almost unnoticeable.
“I’ve been watching you. You caught my attention, that doesn’t happen often”.
“I could always said the same to you” she retorted.
As you were about to reply and ask one more time what Wednesday was really doing there, both of you clearly heard a noise. A loud one, coming from the bushes that were near you two.
You instantly took a step forward Wednesday. People didn’t know about your body muscles because you always wore big clothes, they were comfier, but boy you were strong. You always were exercising when you were not studying and this is about everything you do in your life.
“Stand back” you advised her. Wednesday send you a dirty look, you couldn’t see because you were looking at the bushes that were moving a little now, and that wasn’t because of the wind that was blowing.
“Don’t you ever tell me what to do”
“I’m just trying to protect you” you explained, talking low and approaching to the bushes. You looked at Wednesday. “Can you please leave now?”
“And let you here by yourself? We don’t even know what’s in there”
“It could be the Hyde, we both know it” you said. “That’s why you came here outside, wasn’t it? You’re crazy to find who is it, aren’t you?”
You were very smart, Wednesday had to admit. Quick to solve puzzles. But she would not tell what she thinks to you or out loud, of course. You just seemed to be more and more interesting to her.
“If it’s it you can’t beat it by yourself, Y/N. The Hyde is looking for me”
“I’m stronger than I look” you gave her a half smile. “Now go back inside, Wednesday”.
“I’d love to see you try make me do something I don’t want to” the raven girl challenged.
Dammit, you thought as you sighed. She wasn’t going to back up, she was too stubborn to do that.
“Fine” you said at last. “But if it’s really what you’re looking for you won’t stay here. You’re going to the school and call for the teachers, Weems, the police or whoever the hell for help, OK? I’ll try to stop this thing but you won’t stay here”.
Wednesday was analyzing you for a second. Studying your features and almost seeing through you like a dead frog in a biology class that amazed her.
“Why do you care do much?”
“I just don’t want you to get hurt” you explained. “We have a deal?” Y/N urged.
“Yes”
“OK. Good” you nod your head. You both were a bit serious now, tense as you quietly walked towards the bushes. A growl could be heard. The bushes were moving more erratically and out of nowhere, something jumps out if the bushes, aiming to attack Wednesday, but Y/N is faster and catches the thing in the air. Wednesday was petrified for a split second, but it wasn’t her fault. Everything happened in a blink of an eye.
She watched as the Hyde and Y/N were on the grass, rolling from one side to the other as Y/N was struggling to hold the enormous creature. But somehow during the fight, Y/N could shift her form to a wolf, a big wolf, almost as big as the Hyde. She was strong, this Wednesday could admit out loud. Even more because she was defending her for some reason the short girl couldn’t understand.
“Go. Find. Weems!” Y/N growled. Her voice wasn’t her voice, was the wolf’s voice. A anger bark. But Wednesday was getting back to Earth quickly, pulling herself together as the Hyde looked at her with its horrid eyes.
The Hyde attacked Y/N when she was trying to get Wednesday’s attention to get out of that place and she was the one who lowed her guard and was with that was hit pretty hard in the head. The wolf’s body flew away with a shriek of pain.
“Y/N!” Wednesday wailed.
The thing’s distorted face cracked a smile looking at Wednesday, the girl shifted her gaze between Y/N’s body and the monster who attacked her. The wolf’s head was bleeding now.
You see, Wednesday was a stoic person and would never demonstrate with her facial expression or body language what she was feeling, her face was always grave and serious and all. But she was feeling a lot right now.
She was concerned with Y/N, she knew she was never able to get to the school without the Hyde get her before she could even think about it. And she was dying to know who it was and why this monster was haunting her and hurting other people. Well, in on way or another she would actually know at least one thing finally. Even if it was the dying part.
She had to think.
Fast.
The Hyde growled and huffed its big nostrils and was starting to walk walk rapidly towards Wednesday. Only to be stopped on his track by you. You was hurt, but you managed to get in front of Wednesday, like a wall. The small girl’s breath was erratic like yours.
“Why don’t you fight with you height, asshole?” you grunted.
Angered, the Hyde attacked one more time, but this time you could block its attack. And having her senses back to her, Wednesday thought of a way to get him away from you. She spotted an old rake that was laying around near the garden cleaners and ran to get it. When she took it, she glanced at the both of you and saw the Hyde on top of you while you were both fight. She didn’t think much of it. She ran toward you two again.
“Leave her alone!” she screamed as she stuck the rake into the side of his stomach, piercing the skin. That was enough to make it whimper and get off of you. You were panting as you watched the monster hold its belly as it was walking away. The Hyde was with his wide eyes looking at Wednesday, scared and surprised at the same time.
You smiled weakly. Stupid beast, it should know better than underestimate the small raven girl. Wednesday’s impassive face was looking on the monster’s eyes without blink, a silence dare to it get back, but the Hyde was too pathetic to try. Not now that it was so hurt, at least.
The monster got back to the florets.
Y/N’s whimper made Wednesday look back at her, she kneeled down by the girl side.
“You are an idiot” Wednesday said looking at her. “You could have killed yourself”.
“I know”
“Why did you do it?”
Y/N was going to answer if the blood on her mouth wasn’t making her cough and the pain on her whole body wasn’t starting to get a little too much for her to be conscious.
“Don’t say anything. I’ll get help. I don’t want you dying here like you did something when I was the one who actually saved you”.
“Yeah…” you smiled a bit, your face was getting back to normal. You were so tired that you couldn’t even open your eyes. “You’re the hero, Wednesday, you can have the credits. I won’t say anything. Maybe you’ll get a medal”.
“Can’t you pass out already?” Wednesday taunted and heard a laughed from you before you actually pass out.
She was worried in reality, but she had to make sure you were OK. The Hyde wasn’t important now, she rushed to get help for you.

Pairing: Wednesday Addams x Enid Sinclair
Summary: Wednesday never lets anything get under her skin, except of course her girlfriend Enid Sinclair. Much to Wednesday's dismay, the werewolf loves making her girlfriend blush.
Warnings: None, just pure fluff and ooc Wednesday
Inspired by pixels.on.a.screen on instagram, ofc. The bold text is courtesy of her gorgeous creative brain
Wednesday always prided herself on being unemotional. She always had a stoic expression on her face, and she didn't let things get under her skin. She didn't care about anyone other than herself, she had no friends, and she definitely never fell in love.
Well, until now of course.
And with someone such a polar opposite to herself at that, she could nearly throw up at the irony. Enid Sinclair, the color loving extrovert with an inclination for physical touch. Everything Wednesday despised. But oh, how she loved her.
Unfortunately for Wednesday, Enid adored pushing passed Wednesday's well crafted walls and proving that the brunette did in fact have feelings. Wednesday kept up the facade as well as she could, but she was only so strong to the werewolf's charm.
"Wenny come here." Enid drawled from where she sat at a lunch table. She offered Wednesday a broad grin as she opened her arms and beckoned her girlfriend closer. Wednesday rolled her eyes.
"I don't respond to ridiculous nicknames such as that." The brunette protested, yet her actions said otherwise. She walked over to Enid, staring down at her with a rather unimpressed look. The blond giggled, wrapping her arms around Wednesday's waist and tugging the girl closer.
"Baby, do you wanna go to town after class today and have a little date? Just the two of us?" Enid asked, batting her thick eyelashes up at the brunette, giving Wednesday her best puppydog eyes.
"I suppose it wouldn't be a terrible idea... So long as it doesn't infringe on my writing time." Wednesday said with faux reluctance, looking away from Enid's smile with a faint blush. She could hardly stand it when Enid looked at her like that, with those big blue eyes and that cute smile.
"Awesome! I can't wait! Should we wear our snoods?" Enid asked excitedly, her hands playing with the hem of Wednesday's blazer. Wednesday shot her a weak glare.
"Don't push it." She snarked, causing Enid to giggle. The sound elicited a disgusting response from the ravenette, causing her heart to skip a beat and for a flush to adorn her cheeks.
"Aww, please? I wanna take selfies at the cafe." Enid pleaded with an exaggerated pout. Wednesday forced herself to look away, drawing her lips into a thin line as she tried to find the resolve to tell Enid no.
She didn't get much time to pluck up the nerve, since Enid surprisngly pulled Wednesday down into her lap. The shorter girl shot her hand out and gripped Enid's shoulder in surprise, looking at the blond with wide eyes. The werewolf simply giggled at Wednesday's surprise, leaning forward to place a small kiss to the tip of her nose.
"You know Wednesday, for someone who loves black so much, I think red looks best on you." Enid teased with a smirk, gently tracing the blush on Wednesday's face with her fingers. Wednesday swallowed thickly, trying to meet Enid's gaze but being unable to.
"I am entirely sure that I have no idea what you mean." Wednesday replied stiffly, glancing at Enid out of the corner of her eye to see the girl beaming at her. Enid lets out a small giggle, placing a chaste kiss on Wednesday's lips before pulling away and loosening her grip on her girlfriends waist, giving her the opportunity to leave if she wished. Wednesday stayed put, settling more comfortably on Enid's lap.
"Whatever you say sweetheart." Enid teased, purposefully using a petname that she knew Wednesday despised. The brunette shot her a glare and rolled her eyes. She absentmindedly fixed the lapels of Enid's blazer, choosing to redirect her attention.
"Alright. Well." She paused, glancing up at Enid's face to find the girl already staring at her attentively. She felt a hot flush run over her entire body at this, and she swallowed almost nervously. Of course she wasn't actually nervous, or flustered, or anything of the sort. She was Wednesday Addams, and Wednesday Addams didn't have feelings.
"I shall pick you up at the fountain after my writing hour and take you on that date." Wednesday declared, gazing down at Enid's perfect features. Her sweet smile, the slight pink tint of her blush, the way her lips looked so enticing.
"Alright! See you then Willa." Enid replied quickly with a grin, noticing Wednesday's intense gaze roaming her features. She relished the attention, but more so she relished in the fact she could make her girlfriend so flustered.
With that, Wednesday got to her feet and straightened her skirt before turning to Enid one final time, bending down to place a chaste kiss on her lips. "I love you, cara mia." Wedneday murmured against Enid's lips, causing the blond to blush crimson, grinning up at her girlfriend.
"I love you too Wednesday." She responded earnestly, her face nearly aching from how she smiled. She noticed a small smile tug at Wednesday's lips before the girl stood up and hastily walked away, heading towards her next class.
Wednesday Addams always prided herself on being unemotional. She didn't let things get under her skin, she didn't care about anyone other than herself, and she definitely never fell in love. Except one time, with a girl named Enid Sinclair.
And oh, how she loved her.
a/n this was corny asf

Wednesday realizes her feelings. Pt. 1
I lock my gaze in on the textbook sprawled out in front of me, pretending as if I didn’t catch Enid blatantly staring at me. I’m trying to ignore the fact that catching her has resulted in an unfamiliar, warm tingling sensation in my chest. How unsettling. How… Pleasant?
No.
The more I try not to focus on it, the more the words in the book in front of me blur to gibberish. I can feel a stinging of salt forming behind my eyes. The air suddenly feels too thick to breathe in. I go to grab my belongings so I can hurry out before something emerges that gives everyone a show. But the annoyance of being flustered causes my hand to pull too hard, and my textbook clamors down to the floor. If all eyes weren’t on me before, they certainly are now.
“Miss Addams, are you-“ Professor Lavinia starts, but i’m halfway out the door before she can finish. I trudge as fast as I can to the bathroom, my legs feeling like i’m walking through mud. I finally reach the restroom and the second the door swings shut, hurricane Wednesday is released.
What is this? Why is this happening? Why am I unable to hold back these tears, unable to catch my breath? Is this a panic attack? No. I am not an anxious person. This makes no sense. I topple over to the sink and throw an icy splash of water onto my face. The sudden coolness shocks me back to reality. My breath is finally catching. Just as I’m gaining control of myself again, the door swings open.
I look up, and as I lock eyes with the intruder to my moment of weakness, the stinging feeling returns to my eyes.
It’s her. Enid.
I take in a sharp breath of air, “what do you want, Sinclair?” I say coldly, trying not to make eye contact.
“I… um… Professor Lavinia asked for someone to come check on you. I… figured you’d prefer me over someone random. Are you alright?” she stutters.
I bring my gaze up to my reflection. Unable to recognize the being staring back at me. Emotional. Reddened, teary-eyes. Unable to form cohesive thoughts. This situation is absolutely horrifying, and I’m starting to believe i’ve gone mad.
“…..Wednesday?” she says. I realize I’ve been staring at myself for too long and didn’t actually answer her.
“I’m fine, Enid, I just-“ I start, making the mistake of locking eyes with her. Something pulls deep in my stomach at the sight of her. Her eyes are wide, with what I assume is worry. Normally I’m able to deflect any confrontation from those concerned with my feelings. But Enid.. I hate to admit it. But I’ve realized Enid has a way of making it through to the deepest parts of me in a way that’s incomprehensible. As if she’s found a weak point in the barricade i’ve built around my emotional side.
“I’m fine.” I spit out, quickly wiping my eyes and rushing to head out the door. I need air.
Just as I’m about to pass her, she does the unthinkable and grabs my arm. “Wednesday.” she says, a bit more stern inflection in her voice this time. She yanks me so i’m left with no choice but to face her, and I damn her werewolf capability of being physically stronger than her size would lead you to believe. “Touch me again, Sinclair, and. And…” I want to yell, I want to threaten her like I do to anyone who dares lay their hands on me unwillingly. But something makes me stop. My brow furrows at this frustrating conflict.
“Wednesday Addams, I know you’re totally not emotional and act like you don’t care, which is why this moment is so much more worrying for me. You told me that crying solves nothing, yet here you are. Clearly something IS wrong, and I’m not letting you go until you get whatever it is that’s happening off of your chest. Threaten to suffocate me, or cut off my hand, I don’t care. Spill, Addams. I’m serious,” she scolds. I stare harshly at her, and then sigh. I can feel my suppressed feelings starting to boil over, and the need to spew them out is burning in the back of my throat.
“Fine.” I spit, and out comes everything i’ve been trying so hard to avoid speaking aloud. Especially to the one who’s the causation of all this emotional turmoil.

Apple of her Eye
Wednesday x Blind! Fem Reader
-
Ever since you were born , you never thought your condition as a burden . Your parents have given you everything to have the best and comfortable life . Although there are disadvantage with your condition but you always been grateful and positive .
You're the epitome of calmness and beauty . Gentle Voice , Long wavy (h/c) hair , Fair skin and lastly your translucent eyes . Your name alone screams Serenity , that is why the whole campus was dumbfounded when Addams was able to woo you .
Wednesday is a sucker for you , she's worst than her father when she's in love , and Wednesday doesn't mind one bit . Holding hands with many people around? sure , as long as you're safely walking beside her . One time , Wednesday almost dismember someone's arm from Enid school cliques just because they "accidentally" bump into you making you almost fall on your butt , luckily Wednesday was all over the place when it comes to you .
"Wedns , be nice please , I know they did not do that on purpose" , here comes Wednesday kryptonite , everything about you is her weakness . Your smell , your smile , your eyes , name it . As long as your name is Y/N , Wednesday Addams will kiss the ground for you , would kill for you and most of all would live for you .
"You almost got hurt , it is not an excuse for them to be this unwise" Wednesday softly answered you . Smiling , throughout dating Wednesday you have learned that she could be quite protective of you . Scratch that she's hella protective of you , but who can blame her . Every students who adores you will protect you from harm .
"But I did not my love , I am perfectly fine since you're always here to protect me from any harm" , caressing Wednesday cheeks , you slowly land a sweet and gentle kiss .
"You make me feel so alive Mi Amor" Wednesday whispers . " and you're my reason of living Mi Querida" , you replied .
Who would have thought , You , the a symbol of peace , and Wednesday , the symbol of chaos . Heaven and Hell finally met .
-
Class was dismissed a bit earlier today and Wednesday ask you to go on a date with her at the Weathervane . She walked you back to your dorm to change clothes and went back to hers to also change .
Your roomate , Eve is more excited to this date than you are . She's been blabbering how cute you look in every outfit she chose for you . 30 minutes of endless picking of clothes to wear , you both decided to dress comfortable , with a light brown baggy sweater paired with a dark brown trousers , and your favorite old high top converse shoes .
After an hour of preparing , and half an hour of waiting for Wednesday and the travel time going to Weathervane all together . You and Wednesday settled at the edge of the booth .
Wednesday ordered for the both of you , 4 shots of espresso for her and your (f/drink) for you . Throughout your so called coffee date . A group of normies tried hitting on you , Wednesday was about to beat them all up but you held her hand to calm her down , you don't want to attract attention especially sheriff Galpin . From past events , he and Wednesday are not really in good terms , after Wednesday putting-his-son-the-hyde-in-you-know-what kind of thing .
"Hey , what's up lady? you don't mind if we join you right?" You can really smell the cheap tabacco in his breath , "I'm sorry to disappoint you sir , but all of the seat is already taken by someone" You calmly said while gracefully sipping the (f/drink) Wednesday bought you .
Looks like these morons did not notice Wednesday sitting infront of you , with Wednesday great stealth skills , everything is understandable . The other guy tried to talk to you again but got startled due to the loud bang of the table . Turning their heads , first they saw what looks like a customize knife . It was Wednesday favorite thing she has received from you .
Calmly enjoying your drink , the normies were stunned when they finally recognized Wednesday at the booth .
"You should leave if I were you guys , or my knife will finally taste what real blood is" Wednesday coldly said , it did not take a matter of seconds for them to run away when they saw The Wednesday Addams .
"There's nothing more romantic than bitter coffee , knife and threats , right Cara Mia?" You said still enjoying your drink , Wednesday smiled , She thought she's slowly corrupting your innocence.
" l would die for you , I would kill for you , either way , what bliss . Ma chérie" . and with that Wednesday sealed her promises and her unmeasurable love for you with a kiss on the lips .

Here but gone (part 2)
Wednesday Addams x demon!reader
Warnings: blood, descriptions of injuries, blood drinking, flash backs, Wednesday being a simp. (Anything else?)
The zitronos had taken effect. It had clawed its way into your mind and stolen all control you once had over your body. Wednesday searched your black eyes for anything, anything to show you were still there. That Y/n was still there.
The blood flowing from her abdomen drew you closer, your great, scarlet form within biting distance of her now. Your forked tongue flicking across your dagger sized tusks.
“No”
Wednesday muttered, using apart of her remaining energy to limply raise her arm. An attempt to protect herself. She hears the growl explode from your mouth, sees the way your talons crack into the stone as you rear back.
A flash of blue light sends you into the pillar behind you, your broken cry breaking past your spit dripping lips before you fall limp on the ground.
Wednesday stares in shock before turning to the light beside her. Goody places her hands over the knife tearing it from Wednesday’s body. The Raven hair is so tired, she can barley make out what the spirit is saying, barley see it vanish inside her wound. And suddenly she sits up, her wounds stitching themselves back together as if they have always been able to do so.
without a second thought, she dashes to your side. The pain having caused you to shift back into your human form. Your blood making a puddle around your weak body. She hates the way she falls to her knees beside you, snatching off the black jacket she wore and carefully wrapping you inside it, her body aching as you groaned in pain once more. She ignored the need to question the new feeling, every inch of her black soul focused on you.
she could see the deep wounds in your flesh, the rags that were your clothes doing little to hide them. She recognised the deep scratches of Laurel’s dagger and stared in near horror at the claw marks and chunks of missing flesh she could only assume had been self inflicted.
A tear nearly escaped onto her ghostly cheek
“Y/n,”
she muttered, shaking your body as gentle as she was able to, but at the cry that leaps from your throat, she snatches her hands away.
For the first time in her life, Wednesday didn’t know what to do.
———————————————————————
“You mentioned something about your kind healing with blood.”
Wednesday had mentioned as you sat in the black chair beside her typewriter. The clicking of its keys had stopped, but she did not look away from the words on the page. You looked away from your book, a slight smile on your lips as you responded.
“It does, but it’s also dangerous. “
Wednesday turns her head towards you, eyebrows raised to encourage you to continue
“My kind are rare Wednesday, a dozen left in this country at most. We cannot go about drinking from people. So, at the taste of blood, we could loose control, especially if we haven’t had it before. And, Well! If your injured, that hunger is— burning.”
Wednesday nods, turning back to her typewriter as if to continue. Yet, the irritating bugging to ask one further question got the better of her.
“Have you ever-“
“No”
There’s a silence, the goth lowers her hands from the typewriter, twisting her chair so it fully faced you. You placed your book carefully onto your lap, your face painted with curiosity and slight caution.
“Do you ever want to?”
You sigh, looking away from her, your eyes finding safety staring at Enid’s bright bed across the room. It takes you a moment but Wednesday waits. Listening to your gentle breaths before you turn back to her, eyes attempting to hide the demonic hunger Wednesday had learnt to notice.
“Nearly all the time.”
———————————————————————
You cry out as Wednesday applies pressure to you wound, attempting to stop the bleeding and yet, she watched your blood wash out from somewhere else on your body.
she felt useless, desperately trying to save you as you died anyway
———————————————————————
The night before Wednesday was expelled, you sat side by side in the outskirts of the woods. The night glowing high above. You had missed school, confined to your dorm room by both the blood moon and your own blood lust. You both sat in silence for a while, you watched the constellations while Wednesday took the time to quietly examine you from the corner of her eye. The moon light effectively hid the bags under your eyes and the tiredness in your gaze. But Wednesday knew it was there.
And she knew what was causing it…
“Y/n, you do need blood”
She suddenly declares, taken slightly aback as You laugh, throwing your hands carelessly into the air.
“And who is going to give me their blood. Unlike Vampires, I can’t drink from animals or blood bags! It makes me sick!”
“Then human blood?”
Wednesday asked, her voice carefully remaining monotone and yet her eyes staring fixedly at your face. You sigh,
“There’s still the problem of who.”
Wednesday doesn’t respond, but she turns to you, reaching to lift the sleeve of her jacket up, but your warm hands grasps hers, forcing her to stop. Usually she would of pulled away at the contact, but she doesn’t, curious at the way you command her not to, and yet your hungry eyes demanded satisfaction.
———————————————————————
“Y/n, stay with me.”
Wednesday almost begs as your eyes stare into hers. You give her a weak smile, but flinch and cry out as yet another shock of the zitronos hits you.
Wednesday cannot take it, until an idea flows into her mind. And she knows what she has to do.
“Y/n, I apologise.”
She mutters before hastily pulling up the black sleeve of her shirt, exposing her pale skin. She brings her wrist to your mouth, pressing hard against the fangs poking out of your mouth.
You can’t resist. And Wednesday knows it.
You bite down, too blinded by your own pain to fully comprehend what your doing. You drink, lapping at the blood flowing into your mouth. Groaning as your strength begins to return. You grasp her arm with your free hand, the other digging into her thigh. Wednesday is dazed, trapped in a of great pain, and yet, the willingness to let you continue is one out of pure enjoyment
The pain is nothing compare to the gentle feeling of her blood being sucked away. Your grip on her arm tightens, your eyes snapping open to reveal your blood red pupils. Filled with nothing but hunger and desperations.
you were loosing control.
Wednesday places her free arm behind your back, sitting you up to give you better access to her wrist. For some reason she trusted you, knew you would stop even if you seemingly couldn’t. She relished in the pain you were bringing her, she watched as her blood coated your lips how your scarlet eyes closed again as the zitronos was being rid from your body
“Y/n, that’s enough.”
The goth muttered as the corners of her vision darkened. But you didn’t.
“Y/n!”
She demanded. But you didn’t stop. Maybe Wednesday had been wrong to trust you, to give you her blood. Maybe she would become your prey, your first kill.
“Y/n!”
She forces out, before there’s a howl from outside.

you’re a mean one, miss wednesday
wednesday x reader
plot: just a good ol’ christmas fluff
word count: 700+
a/n: sorry for any typos or mistakes!!
Tumblr media
Wednesday Addams hated Christmas and everything about it. She was the complete embodiment of the Grinch. She depised frill, she hated giving, and she loathed cheer. You were the complete opposite of Wednesday in just about every way. Everything about Christmas you loved, especially the coziness of it all. Every year you made it your mission to make each holiday better than the last, and now that you got to share it with Wednesday you weren’t going to forget one single detail.
This year was all about spending your first Christmas together doing all the major cheesy, cliché moments. Very Hallmark. The problem was convincing Wednesday to participate in any of it.
The first task was getting Wednesday to compete with you in Nevermore’s gingerbread building contest hosted by Enid. You both spent the previous week begging her, and she never truly agreed but she showed up anyway. The whole time she just stared at you in disdain for making her endure such atrocious activities.
“Wednesday! Quick! Pass me the gumdrops!” you yelled while hurriedly getting together more frosting to ensure the foundation wouldn’t fall.
“I would rather gouge my eyes out with a toothpick than touch those.” she scowled.
You rolled your eyes and just decided to do it all yourself.
“Weds, can you please see if they have some more marshmallows?”
She grimaced at you for the umpteenth time, “Fine. I can touch those. They don’t give me the hives from all that color.” She headed over the the supply station.
You wanted to roll your eyes but you knee you were just lucky she even showed up. Luckily, your creativity alone could carry you to victory. Wednesday refused to be photographed with you for Nevermore's Yearbook picture as the winners of the gingerbread house contest. You didn’t really complain, it wasn’t like she helped much anyway.
Next on the list was building a snowman in the courtyard. Wednesday hated being the center of attention, but stood out there anyway. She actually tried to participate a little bit which brought joy to your heart seeing her get a little into the Christmas spirit. Until you got carried away and decided now was the perfect time for a snowball fight. Big mistake.
While she was putting a frown onto the snowman, much to your dismay, you were gathering up a handful of pearly snow.
“Hm, Y/n would you hand m-,” right as she was finishing her sentence you hurled the snowball right at her. Her face went from shock to infuriated.
“You. Better. Run.” and that you did. All the way back to Wednesday and Enid's room leaving a fit of giggles in your tracks. She was not very happy, not that she ever was, when she found you laying on her bed. But a simple kiss of her cold, pouty lips made her a little less irritated.
“So, where’s Enid?” you asked.
“She went home for break.” Wednesday replied indifferently. You rolled your eyes knowing Wednesday missed her effervescent roommate. She took her seat at her desk to do her daily writing session and you took the opportunity to set up the room for a Christmas movie night.
Once her writing for the day had been completed she turned around to see your cozy set up, with a beautifully tacky pair of matching Christmas pjs but while yours dawned green and reds hers were black and greys. She’d never admit it but she found them quite nice.
“You don’t expect me to put those on, right?” she asked. You pouted which truly was her weak spot. She rolled her eyes and grabbed them. When she came out of the bathroom you squealed in excitement and patted the space beside you on the bed. Wednesday begrudgingly sat beside you as you hit play on the remote. When you cuddled up close to her she wrapped her arms around you and you sensed her inhaling the scent of your shampoo from your hair.
As the movie started, she began to think to herself ‘When did I get so soft?’ but then she looked down at you and it all made sense. She would do anything just to put a smile on your face. You like Cindy Lou Who, made it all make sense for her. Wednesday could almost feel her black heart grew an extra size that day.

Hi! I had this idea stuck in my head for a while. What if Miss Thornhill forced the reader to go against Wednesday when she realized that the reader had feelings for her?
A/N: I dunno if this quite hits your request, but it kinda ran away from me at a point lol
Wednesday x GN!Reader
Groans echo in the small room. Sweat soaked your clothes and shackles bruised your wrists. All you could do was listen to the thuds of red boots as they pace the floor.
"You're more stubborn than I thought." Thornhill fills another vial of whatever she was torturing you with. "I know you know more than you're telling me."
"I'm telling you all I know," you cry out. "Wednesday doesn't see me as a confidant." You grunt in pain as she kicks you.
"I thought I told you to get closer to her. You like her don't you? It should be easy."
A soft sob slips out and Thornhill slips into her motherly persona.
"Oh honey. It'll all be worth it in the end. I'll even spare Wednesday her life so you can have her." She sticks a needle in your neck and empties its contents. "But maybe this will remind you that I won't accept failure anymore.
Pain sinks into your veins as the poison takes effect. Screams echo, making the walls rattle. Thornhill leaves you thrashing on the ground and you black out in agony.
-----+++++-----
When you come back to consciousness, you're trudging towards your dorm room at Nevermore. It isn't clear how you made it here. You were just on autopilot. Whatever Thornhill shot in you still pulsed in your veins. The pain, while dulled immensely, still ripped through your body. You just hope you didn't run into anyone before you made it to your room.
Of course, your luck was shit recently.
The one person you especially wanted to avoid rounded the corner and dark eyes pierced through you. You could only manage a weak grimace in greeting.
"H-hey, Wednesday."
The goth watches your posture. The way you used the wall to hold up the near entirety of your weight. The sweat raining down your face from exertion. The way your breathing makes your entire body heave. After some silence, the girl turns around and goes back the way she came. You let out a sigh of relief only to see Wednesday come back with Enid in tow.
"Carry them to our room," she commands. "Something is going on and I intend on finding out."
"Did you really just bring me here to be the muscle?"
The withering glare sent her way answers Enid's question and she picks you up with an apology. You're far too weak to even resist.
You find yourself in Enid's and Wednesday's shared room. On Wednesday's own bed no less. The wolf whines softly and looks at you worriedly while Wednesday tries to deduce what was wrong with you. It takes a while, but you manage to get the strength back to say more than two words.
"It's poison that was injected straight into my veins." You lean your head to show the needle prick on your neck. "I was tortured. Been getting tortured."
"By who? And why?"
Your mouth opens to answer Wednesday. You try, but nothing comes out. Only a groan triggered by memories of your pain. Your body begins to writhe from the phantom pains. You feel a cold compress on your forehead. Thing was gently taking care to calm you down. It takes only a few moments for you to calm down.
"Enid, Thing. Leave us alone."
Both look at Wednesday before slowly leaving. Once the door closes, the goth's attention immediately presses onto you. Your fear of more torture makes you shake uncontrollably. Wednesday was capable of so much and you were terrified to become another victim. Tears start to fall from your eyes.
"P-please... I don't want to hurt again..."
Wednesday's eyes soften slightly at the sight of you. She was used to seeing you more upbeat. You would often invade her space just to be near. For some reason, you liked having her around and she had gotten used to it. Seeing you like this was abnormal. She didn't like it one bit.
Recently, the goth noticed you trying to keep your distance, yet also involve yourself in her investigations. While she appreciated your help, the constant push and pull made you suspicious to her. One way or another, she'll figure out why.
You felt a hand on your forehead before it starts running down your hair. You stifle a cry. Wednesday's voice, though soft, cuts through to you.
"I don't intend to hurt you, Y/N. Whether you tell me what you know or not." She pulls her chair closer to you. "Priority right now is your well being."
She continues her ministrations and it soothes you. You still didn't trust your voice, but you wanted to help Wednesday. Even with all the torture you suffered, you would push back against Ms. Thornhill until the end. With a wince, you slowly reach into a hidden pocket in your jacket and pull out a vial of blue liquid. Wednesday stops her hand and widens her eyes.
"That's nightshade. Why do you have it?"
You hand her the vial. Taking deep breaths, you pushed through to answer.
"I was supposed to use it on you. To get you out of the way. At least after getting your blood."
"My blood?" You nodded.
"I don't know why, I swear. That's all I was told." Tears start to fall again as fear of punishment engulfs you again. Wednesday moves to soothe you again.
"I believe you. Do you know who did this?" Another nod.
"I-it was Ms. Thornhill." Even saying her name aloud made you shiver. "She found out about my feelings for you. Wanted to use it to get to you."
That news surprised Wednesday. You had feelings for her? Everything makes sense now. All of your actions come to the forefront of her mind as she analyzes your relationship with her. Her face hardens when a new goal is added to her list.
"We will talk about those... Feelings at another time." She softly caresses your cheek. "For now, rest. And I will make sure Thornhill pays for what she did to you."
For the first time in a long while, you smile. Wednesday will surely be true to her word.
