Haven't seen this on here yet. Date is 1/29/24, medication is Zenzedi, look for lot number F230169A and expiration date June 2025.

The affected bottles contain an antihistamine instead of what they're supposed to contain--so if you got these and took some already, it probably isn't going to do anything to you; the main problem is not having the medication they actually need--and having to navigate returning & replacement without your correct meds.

The article just say to take it back to the pharmacy; it doesn't shed any light on how difficult it's going to be to get a new bottle that contains the real medication, so best of luck with that, to anyone affected.

i’m sorry for the stupid shit that i post

this is really just for me

i’m qualifying myself to some higher standard or whatever, but in reality that’s called deflecting my problems in a way that i wish to see myself, not how i really am,

and i don’t want to look in the mirror and think and think and think “this is the skinniest i’ve ever fucking looked,” and i don’t want to think about how i wasn’t always a fucking drug addict because drugs (speed!!! and tons of weed, but who cares, speeeeeeeeEd) have always been fun. just not meth or heroin, we all kinda agree those are off are not unwantedly off limits. 

i post about this kind of shit like i don’t care anymore, but i dunno,,, i think i really do.  everything a person does is a reflection upon themselves. is this who i want to be? 

but will i change? will i be able to come out on top of eight years of addiction, mental health issues, and eating disorders and shine a characteristic light on it? this sucks. thinking sucks. don’t be like me. really, just don’t be like me.

tl;dr having an addiction and an eating disorder is nothing to be glorified and im a piece of shit who has both, sorry

I've been trying to look more into what kind of medication August was taking because he obviously runs out in like episode 2 and I've been curious to know if any of his outburst kind of frantic behaviour has something to do with that. (being on this medication consistently and then very suddenly not being on it at all / withdrawal symptoms maybe... and potentially because of using different meds, It doesn't seem like the ones Simon gave him would be the exact same, that would be a wicked coincidence right?) I understand that the pills used are props so I was trying to look at the bottles and labels. This is what I've found and it may be useless because its just props but if it’s accurate then there's something there maybe!

The bottles look the same but the pills that Simon takes from his dad is Tramadol (I think) which is a super strong pain killer, and I think that what August is taking is dextroamphetamine. I cant see the dosage on the bottle and I've used every method of unblurring and image sharpening and zooming I possibly can to see the label and this is my best guess.

Maybe I'm reaching a bit but also I think that part of me wants to find a reason to be sympathetic for August, I just don't want to accept that he is truly just a terrible person entirely, and I think that we’re supposed to see a little humanity in him when we learn about his dad killing himself and when he tells Wille he feels the same way that he does about Erik’s death, and then when he's crying after Simon demands the money from him, but that scene makes me actually go ballistic because as a poor person whos been very poor all of my life I am livid watching a rich person cry about “not having money” - I've made another post about this specific thing a long time ago so I wont go into detail here.

Also Simon takes this bottle but only gives August the pop out pills (maybe he gave them when he gave august the ones to sell but he didn't at first) so what did he do with them?

These are all the ones at the party and i don’t see the bottle from Simon’s dad’s stuff.

If I have any followers who take amphetamine-based stimulants* for ADHD and it is effective for you (actually improves your symptoms and allows you to function to a degree you consider significant vs being unmedicated), could you answer a couple of quick questrions for me please? I’m studying something in myself (remember kids: the only difference between “fucking around” and “science” is writing it down) and wanna gather some info on what it looks like when amphetamines actually... work. I need something to compare me to.

1) Whacha takin’? Is it immediate release (IR - kicks in quicker, doesn’t last as long, take it 2-3x a day) or extended release (XR - takes longer to work but lasts all day) 2) Do you actually notice them take effect? Like is there a distinct difference for you between “pre medication” and “when the adderall hits”? How long does it typically take for you to notice it start working? 3) Flip-side: do you notice specifically when it wears off? When does that typically happen?
