I drew my favorite 19 Days boys because I crave more content and they're my favorites

It's not really new content, cuz I just redrew them from the manhwa

And it was more like a character study, but I drew 'em none the less

I tried to make a 'em look a lil younger and stick close to Old Xian's style (which is a struggle dude, her style is so hard for me to incorporate in a comfortable way, I'm used to just straight up copying a style tho, not mixing it with mine so 🤷🏽‍♀️)

I'm pretty happy with how they came out tho 😌

But fr Zheng Xi barely has any dialogue lately and I miss him 😢 I hope he gets to shine more in upcoming chapters!

Hi! Thank you! I think I said this in the reply to your message on the post, but yes! There’s such an interesting dynamic between those two. Even wayyyy back in the manhua when Jian Yi and He Tian are trying to twist Mo’s balls after the rock incident, Xixi has this moment where he thinks something like “I don’t think this guy is that bad.” He’s shown as the first character to comment on Mo’s “bad kid” reputation as mostly an act. Which is interesting considering Mo had hit him in the head with a rock lol. It’s such a key little characterization for a character that isn’t shown talking a lot (or in recent chapters, at all).

When it comes to shipping, I just have fun imagining different circumstances for all four of them. It’s endlessly fun to explore all of the pairings and relationships. Fluff, angst, mafia, coffee shop- all of the “what ifs” are so juicy! Jian Yi as a professor and Guan Shan as a student? Love it. Vampire Xixi? Amazing. Dog walker He Tian? Someone write it for me. I’m here for all of it.

So if anyone wants to pop in and chat about any ship (even “unusual” or unpopular ones) I’m down!

Zhan can play piano and after He Tian and Jian Yi disappear, he’d play piano and sing about Jian Yi in the music room. Mo would be doing detention somewhere near and would quietly listen from there.

‘What are you going to do after high school?’

‘Probably work,’ Mo looks up at the sky. ‘in some kitchen somewhere.’

‘Right.’

‘How about you? College?’

‘Yh,’ ZhengXi responded, sighing slightly. ‘I wanted to take a gap year to do singing and songwriting, but my parents doubt whether I’m good enough for it to be worth it.’

‘You are.’

‘What?’ ZhengXi looked up at the redhead, who was sitting on the ledge of the balcony, dangerously dangling his feet in the air. He won’t fall though. If he slips ZhengXi is right there to catch him.

‘You are good enough,’ Mo looked down at ZhengXi, face serious. ‘More than good enough, I’d say.’

‘You don’t have to make me feel better -’

'I hear you playing in the music room everyday.’ 

ZhengXi’s eyes widened. But there shouldn’t be anyone around at that time! ‘I get detention in the classroom next door a lot,’ Mo explained. ‘And I think you are better than most.’

Mo looked down at his hands and chuckled. ‘And you’ve got the looks, too. Plenty of people would like you.’

ZhengXi doesn’t know how long he’d been staring at Mo for, but it probably had been quite a while because the redhead looked at him with a slight frown before looking away quickly.

‘Thanks.’

ZhengXi felt a buzz in his pocket. Oops, he’s late for dinner. ‘Gotta go,’ ZhengXi said, looking back up to Mo quickly, wanting to ask him to get off that ledge. 

Since He Tian went away, ZhengXi has been well aware of She Li’s resurfacing in Mo’s life, and how destructive it is to him. Over time, ZhengXi’s come to care for Mo. He just doesn’t really like leaving Mo alone, especially when he’s sitting precariously on the balcony edge. So he doesn’t.

‘Any plans tonight?’ He lingers. Mo turned abruptly, as if not expecting ZhengXi to still be there. 

‘Uhh, dunno. I don’t have work today so might hang here a little longer before heading home,’ Mo responded as he reached into his pocket for something.

Cigarettes?

ZhengXi frowned. Shit. He doesn’t want to get into Mo’s business because he knows the redhead hates it but he cannot let this happen in front of his own two eyes. 

‘Hey!’

‘What? Shit!’ Mo almost slipped but ZhengXi grabbed him and pulled the other boy down to safety. ‘Thanks.’

‘Uhh, wanna come to my place for dinner?’

Mo squinted a little. ‘Are you smiling at me?’

‘Apparently? Do you not like it?’ ZhengXi smiles deliberately this time. 

When Mo started chuckling ZhengXi felt his face heat up. ‘I’ve smiled at you before why are you like this?’

When Mo just laughs harder, ZhengXi grabs the other boy’s shoulders playfully to straighten him. ‘Stop it, Mo! So are you coming to dinner or not?’

Mo stopped laughing and sighed. ‘I don’t know, man, aren’t your parents going to be there? And your little sister? You sure you want me near her?’ Mo said as he picked up his bag and began walking in the opposite direction.

'I’m too late for dinner. My sister’s at a sleepover and my parents have left for a business trip, so it’s just going to be me.’

‘Oh.’ 

‘Yh, man, we can play League after!’

‘Alright!’
