eah thingy but it's if they had their own musical numbers in an eah musical BECAUSE I SAID SO #24 (PART I?)

this is also because I'm a theater person and I'm having performance withdrawals, and I'm watching Rise of The Pink Ladies, and Glee again, the withdrawals are real

Raven's solo would be called "Not Evil" where it's just her walking into ever after high trying to tell people that she's not evil and she really doesn't want to be like her mother (think when she first walked into the school with Maddie and everyone ran away when they saw her)

There would be a number with all the princess' called "What Princess' Do" during princessology where they go over the core fundemetals of being a princess (but not real ones, like stuff about smiling and learning to balance crowns on your head and always looking pretty) and it would absolutely be choreographed like "we both reached for the gun" from Chicago where everyone is being puppeteered

Headmaster Grimm has this stoic number called "Legacy" where he explains the importance of signing the Storybook of Legends

The Wonderlandians would absolutely have their own number called "Out of Wonder" which explains the whole Wonderland curse with mini solos about how it effected their lives

There's also a "Tea-Time!" interlude between scenes with big set changes where it's Maddie and possibly other students setting up a small tea party

Apple gets a solo called "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far" where it's her talking to Raven or Briar or someone about how Apple strives to follow her mom's legacy (think how she acted before Thronecoming)

The hardcore villain kids get a number called "Wickedly Cool" and it's bsically them singing about how being wicked and evil is cool and not as bad as some people make it out to be

Apple and Daring get a duet called "Destined Together" about how perfect they are for each other and are, of course, destined to be together forever after

On that note, the "Destined Together (Reprise) features both Apple and Darling, and Daring and Rosabella having this heartfelt moment where they go back and forth realising that they were destined for someone else

Briar and Faybelle also get a duet called "Frenemies Forever" where Faybelle just goes on about how much she appreciates Briar as her frenemy, and Briar sings along saying she doesn't really get it but Faybelle just keeps going, REALLY dramatic, about all the great benefits of having a frenemy

penny had asked ruby once what it would be like to be kissed. ruby, nervously, had rubbed at the back of her neck and admitted she hadn’t really thought about it. with everything else in her life, she hadn’t considered kissing any boys a priority.

“no,” penny had correct. “i meant, what about kissing girls?”

ruby had gone red - redder than her own cape, which she wished would swallow her up at her own flushed reaction - and quickly stammered around a refutation.

and it wasn’t a lie. really, she’d never thought about kissing girls.

she’d thought about kissing one.

and that girl was sitting across from her right now, overlooking atlas’s gorgeous cyan sky, stretching across black pillars of shaded towers and edifices.

she thought about it when she went to bed that night, and she thought about it when penny stopped by to wish her team a good morning that day. boy, had she thought about it.

maybe she’d get to broach that topic again at the dinner that night, she’d naively, stupidly, recklessly thought.

and when the world dared to crack and threatened to crumble later that night, kissing penny was just another consideration to set aside.

now she’s alone, laying beneath a foreign sky feet away from a friend she’d once known and lost over years and minutes at once. she drags a tentative, delicate finger across her bottom lip as she glances towards her sister, cozied up next to the girl she’d gotten to kiss - who she’d gotten to know what kissing her would be like.

ruby can’t help but wonder what relief that must have been, and she can’t help but lament what could have been.

gods, she wishes she’d have kissed penny.

bumbleby confession/kiss details that make me absolutely bonkers:

- the parallel of yang’s first compliment to blake being about her bow and yang telling blake that her cat ears are cute

- blake’s admiration of yang’s honesty and transparency being huge for her because for so long she stood by a man who did nothing but lie to her and hide his true nature, so having a partner that’s so truthful and is exactly who she says she is is such a big thing to her

- yang bringing up when blake “didn’t like her all that much” kills me every time because they had one (1) interaction where blake was disinterested and yang acts like she hated her 😭 even though in reality that one interaction was enough for blake to decide that she wanted yang as her partner

- we know now that bumbleby has been planned since the beginning, which means the eye/soul color correlation thing was intentional… which is just a full circle moment during one of their biggest moments in the entire show when looking at these screencaps side by side

- blake being so sure of her feelings and yang still being a bit hesitant and scared of her feelings is such a beautiful inverse of what most people would expect but fits perfectly with where their characters are right now

- “i think we’re already falling” is an absolutely fucking insane line that still drives me crazy to this day because when blake said that i knew this was really it

- i will never get over the way yang barely gets the words out of her mouth before blake is saying them right back to her, she is SO certain of her feelings for yang and was just waiting for yang to meet her in the middle despite wanting nothing more than to tell her how she feels and oh my god i feel like crying again just thinking about it

- them LITERALLY BEING IN A GARDEN… idk how long the details of this scene have been in the works but regardless of if bmblb inspired the scene or vice versa it’s such a beautiful callback

- blake pulling yang in by her jacket… yang pulling blake in by her waist… yang’s eyes darting between blake’s eyes and her lips silently asking for permission… blake smiling like a dork before the kiss silently giving her that permission… them standing there kissing for god knows how long and absolutely getting into it because by the time we see them again their hands are everywhere and they’re full on making out… i’m ill

- basically it still doesn’t feel like this really happened and i’m wondering how long it’ll take before it finally does sink in
