Thought it was about time I posted an updated version.

2021 pricing so far. If you’re currently on waitlist this is what it will be.

FAQS:

Do you do NSFW?  100% yes. No problem.

When do you take payment? Usually after I’m finished. I’m weird that way, but honestly, whatever is most convenient for you. I’m flexible. I can even do installments.

Do you do more than one character in a picture? Sometimes. It depends on how complicated the image is. Ask and give me specifics and I’ll let you know. Two people take considerably longer than one and one already takes me like a month to finish.

Why are the prices ‘starting at’? What will be the final price? The final price depends entirely on what you want and how complicated it is. A person with plain or minimal clothing/accessories etc will take far less time to finish than a person in armor. That kind of thing. Since it changes on a case by case basis I have to make pricing flexible.

Why is the color price higher than the black and white? Because color takes me twice as long to do. It’s more complicated to get right. Black and white is much faster. Simply that.

Will I get updates? Yes. I try to update my clients as I go, but sometimes I can ‘get in the zone’ and forget how much time has passed. If that happens feel free to contact me at any time and I’ll be happy to update you on the status. All the examples are your ‘realism’ work. Can I commission you for a ‘tarot style’ like you did your Dragon Age tarots in? Absolutely. I’m not really as practiced in that style since it’s less realistic, but I’d be happy to do it on request if that’s what you’re looking for.

Will you do any game/fandom? Yes. Anything at all. But if you want anything Dragon Age or Mass Effect I may be so happy I’ll offer a discount. lol No promises, but…I really enjoy those.

Why does it take you so long? A few reasons. 1) I’m still learning, so if something is complicated and I’ve never done it before I have to learn how. 2) I’m very detailed and a bit of a perfectionist so I spend too much time making sure things are as right as I can get them. 3) I have bad eyesight (-7.50) and sometimes I can’t see the references well if they’re small and it takes me awhile to figure out how to replicate things I can’t make out. 4) I have aphantasia (Can’t visualize things) and so it can take me a lot of trial and error to draw the parts that need more imagination.

Will the prices change again in the future? Probably. Since most of my clients are fans I worry about charging too much for people to afford, but honestly I charge way too low. Finishing one picture with my turnover time I make about 2$ an hour. Sometimes far less. It’s completely unsustainable for cost of living, but at the moment I’m in a situation where I can make it work without making it more expensive for you guys. If my situation changes in the future so will my pricing. If you think I should be asking more you’re always welcome to tip me.

I can’t tell you when it’ll be, though. Right now, I have a few free slots saved to offer for Mass Effect commissions with a small discount to celebrate the release of the Legendary Edition, so once I finish them, I’ll be accepting other fandoms again. Summary: Lilitu finds Keaton Hawke in her dreams after he stays in the Fade. Their reunion only drives her on in a desperate search to find a way to save him.

Skyhold stands silent as a tomb around Lilitu, a gloomy shroud dimming the afternoon sunlight on the stone. The pennants and banners hang limp in the fog. As far as she can see, there’s nobody there. Her home is silent. Empty.

As it should be.

The thought flits through her mind and is gone before she can quite catch and examine it. It leaves behind a sense of unease and a choking grief she doesn’t understand. She’s afraid if she stands still she’ll be crushed under the weight of it, so she does the only thing she can.

She goes on.

Nobody appears to greet her when she walks under the portcullis. Nobody hollers her name from within the fortress. And yet, there are remnants of life: a training dummy with Cassandra’s sword embedded within it’s straw guts, a hastily abandoned quiver of arrows, a pointed hat forlornly discarded next to a well worn journal.

Where are they?

“Cassandra!” she shouts. “Sera! Cole! Var-”

She’s overwhelmed by a sudden memory. Varric sitting in the great hall at a table, tears falling down his stubbled jaw, quill moving over a piece of paper…

She flies up the stairs as if she’ll catch him there, but when she flings the doors open the great hall is just as empty as the rest of the fortress. But Varric’s letters are there, next to a well worn deck of cards and a stack of freshly fletched arrows. Lilitu scans the room, searching for any sign of life. Outside the windows behind her throne, the moon casts a halo of light around her throne.

Moonlight. The back of her neck prickles with unease. But it had been daylight, she had just…

Her eyes slide from the throne to the open door beside it. Her quarters are never left open for any passing courtier to go in and poke through her belongings. Leliana will be furious when she finds out.

Lilitu blinks and she’s in her staircase, climbing the last few steps without any real memory of how she’s gotten there. The answer is on the tip of her tongue, but her mind feels dulled, her limbs heavy.

She is tired. More tired than she has ever been, so tired that when she crests the stairs the sight before her makes no sense.

There is a man, the largest man she’s ever seen, sitting on the edge of her bed. He strokes his beard while he stares into the fire, lost in thought. He’s shirtless and he looks so at home in her quarters tears nearly prick her eyes.

It takes her a moment of searching through her foggy brain to find the words, but she knows. She knows she is finally home.

“Ara iovru,” she breathes.

There are lines at the corner of his eyes. Have they always been there? She struggles to remember, feels as if there are so many things she has to tell him, so many unanswered questions.

“Kitten.” His mouth curls into an exhausted smile. “You’re a sight for sore eyes.”

She chokes back a sob. “Mi’nas’sal’inan, vhenan.”

He unfolds his arms and holds them out in invitation, the flickering fire reflected in his eyes. “I missed you too. Come here.”

If Varric didn’t love her, he would cheerfully murder her.

He should have known. He can admit, grudgingly, the fact that he didn’t is entirely due to her cleverness. His Maria never gives anything away she doesn’t want known, her lips firmly zipped.

A part of him can even admire it. He’s so used to bailing people out, it’s almost refreshing to find out about the issue secondhand. Maria isn’t Hawke, stumbling in and dumping her latest mess on his desk. She’s certainly not Bianca, who would have felt his assistance was a sure thing. Instead, Maria went it alone. And Varric, idiot in love that he was, would never have known.

He tells himself he isn’t going to interfere. Maria didn’t ask for his help, so she clearly doesn’t feel like she needs it. But he can’t stay away from the drop she’s set up. Nerves rattle in his stomach while he waits in the building across the street. Below, the harbor district is eerily quiet and shrouded in fog and shadows.

It’s late. Too late for any legitimate business to be happening. Maria should be at the bar working her shift or, better yet, soft, warm, and safe in his bed. Instead, Varric can see her small form leaning against the warehouse across the street. She’s got her hood pulled up over her hair, hiding the red gleam, and her hands shoved deep in her pockets.

She fits in here, but he’s not shocked. There’s always been a whiff of danger surrounding her, the lingering aura of the Carta she left just before he met her. It’s sobering to realize how easy it would be for her to flit back in the shadows.

He tries to tell himself it would never happen. Bea would never stand for it, but Varric’s not sure Bea knows where she’s at either. Let alone what she’s done or why.

He should, frankly, be more furious. For the flurry of lies, if nothing else, but it’s hard to feel the sharp edge of anger when she’s only here to save someone else. Maria didn’t go back to the Carta for herself, she didn’t do it for money. He suspects she’d starve first if those were her options.

But she did do it for the waitress at the bar, the jumpy one with her police officer boyfriend. Nobody else saw the bruises, not even him, but Maria had. So she acted, alone, and she went back to the one place she knew with no high regard for cops.

Varric could strangle her. Or kiss her. Maybe both.
