“why do i believe this” and “who benefits from me believing it” are the first steps to decolonization and we should all be doing this more

It's insane how casually the calls to end a genocide, not just the students in Columbia University but pro Palestinian views in general, are labelled as terrorists. The audacity to still publicly support Israel's actions even after the horrific bombings these last months and then turn around to say that the ones who oppose it are violent anti semites is just baffling

I feel ya on the time thing.
But no. Regardless of age, that type of thing should not be used on a civilian. You can see the agony on her face.
What sacks of shit. Poor Greta.

I also learned this in public school.
Luckily my teacher treated his kids like new coming adults instead of foolish teens.
He also showed us how the working conditions were, didn't spare much detail, he was a cool dude.
Without unions I'm sure we'd be working for corp bucks again and only able to spend that money back into work on related businesses to get food and housing.
Unions are the reason we get to complain freely. Unions are the reasons we get to seen as people working a job instead of a fleshy cog in the machine.
Unions are what we need to protect.

What's funny (funny interesting not humorous) about this is usually cops are so quick to pull "I feared for my life" BS like the social/mental health people don't. But they're so quick to also say the same shit as that bootlickers "cute" little screenshot.
There are extreme cases like above. But they are not as common as the media and bastards like that like to believe. In fact, they're quite rare-ish.
I've worked through people's meltdowns. I'm not properly trained for it either. In my experience, in taking people down from there highly elevated states, they're quicker to self-harm before going out to hurt someone else. A more common extreme case of a huge meltdown like that is more than likely to end in suicide than anything else.
You wanna know the most common emotion I've seen in any situation where someone "crazy" is acting like above or having an mental health crisis I've seen?
Despair.
No one likes being in that kind of emotional high. No one likes being that irregular. Whether it's a mental health breakdown or even a fucked up drug trip. Your body is in panic mode and sometimes your brain is either exploding with ideas on what to do and none of what you're thinking of seems productive or helpful or everything feels like it just shut down.
In either situation, a pig pointing a gun and shouting demands like an asshole will not be well received. Surprise, surprise.
Also, considering the lack of help and empathy you get from cops when it comes to mental illness anyway given their shitty track record, they shouldn't speak unless they want to answer for their past grave bungles. Like the Batman theatre fiasco where the schizophrenic shooter already self-reported to the police days prior trying not to hurt people and no one did a damn thing.
Always Acab.

Hey everyone, please consider buying the 2024 itch.io Palestinian Relief Bundle- it's 373 games, game-making assets, tabletop roleplaying games, zines, and comics for a minimum of just 8 USD! They have a goal of 100,000 USD, and as of the time I'm writing this post, they have 8 more days to reach it.

Reminds me when people were laughing at John Boyega for joining the eat the rich fight and people were saying he was going to be eaten.
No. He's in every right to be screaming eat the rich like the rest of us. And people bullied his ass for it.
Know who the fuck your enemy is.
the rich =/= someone who has something I can't afford :(
the rich = the fucking rich

You have every right to ignore or ban the ancestors you don't like when doing ancestor work. Your ancestors can also reject you for any reason they want. Sometimes it's for the best.

Graveyard Etiquette🪦

Before you go protect yourself you don't want a spirit attached to you.
Bring coins as offerings to the gatekeepers.
Bring with you offering for the spirits (food, water, flowers ect...) and leave it by a tree or away from the headstones for the spirits.
Make sure you don't step on anyone and apologiz if you do by accident.
Clean up neglected tombstones.
Ask before you take dirt. Use your intuition or divination to get a response.
Don’t take anything that is left for the dead.
Don't leave trash behind and if you find trash clean it.
Leave the way you came.

Once my boyfriend told me: "You're not a burden. A burden is something you're forced to carry against your will. I freely choose to be a part of your life and that means you aren't a burden to me." I'm passing it on in case some of you need to be reminded of that.
