I make no promises about regular updates to this blog, but DeltaRune exists now, so have a good song!
This orchestral arrangement of The World Revolving (Jevil’s Theme) takes the tempo down a bit, which works surprisingly well, and supplements the original tune with some nice sampling. This song takes a bit to warm up, but is well worth the wait-- it's a really well done arrangement!
Overall, great percussion, great strings, great brass, great mixing/balance, and great overall product! Give this one a try for sure!

Hot dang...
An incredible orchestrated medley of Undertale songs that resurrected this blog from the dead.  Exquisite arrangement with beautiful playing.  Toby Fox himself tweeted about it on Twitter.
0:04 - Determination (speech intro) 1:07 - Spear of Justice 2:47 - sans. 3:32 - Papyrus (Bonetrousle) 4:32 - Bergentrückung / Asgore 5:45 - Toriel (Heartache) 6:39 - Asgore (reprise)
I have no words to say except that I love pretty much everything about this, and I highly recommend you give this a try if you like good things.  It’s a little on the longer side.  It is well worth the length.
Also the second half of the song is quite possibly my favorite Undertale performance of all time.  It’s at least top five.

Are we allowed to send you recs? Rush Garcia and The Second Narrator have some breathtaking orchestrations.
Song recommendations are more than welcome!  I may or may not add specific songs to the blog for a variety of reasons (and they may or may not go up in a timely manner, heh), but you are all more than welcome to send them.
Regarding Rush Garcia and The Second Narrator specifically, I recognize both of their names and there might be a song or two by them up on the blog.  I’ll probably scour their youtube/soundcloud accounts more thoroughly when I get the time.  In the meantime, if you have an orchestration or two in mind that you’re thinking of, feel free to send me specific links!

A driving, jazz/funk remix of Death by Glamour.  The instrumentation here is elaborate and effective, with great usage of synth pad backing some great sax parts.  The bass line is also a favorite of mine, and let’s talk about that flute part a minute and a half in!  Man alive  B)  This entire song oozes glitz and glamour.  I think Mettaton himself would be proud of this rendition of his battle theme- it more than does his character justice.
This is a must-listen.  You can never have enough Mettaton in your life, and I guarantee your life will be enriched for having this in it.  Click the button.  You know you want to.

A kick-butt orchestrated remix of Bonetrousle.  Loving the instrumentation and remix here- plus, the production values are through the roof!  Great arrangement and execution.  It’s stylish and jaunty, with as much charm and personality as Papyrus himself, and simultaneously epic and grandiose, like Papyrus’s ego.
You owe it to yourself to give this one a listen.  Don’t you like the good things in life?  It’s about time you treated yourself for once.  Click the play button.

A beautiful piano remix of Home that leads into the main Undertale theme, with a little Megalovania and Once Upon A Time.  I love the ambient weather effects in the background here- they give a sense of distance and almost melancholy.  They augment an already exquisite piano arrangement with fantastic production values.
This song is beautiful and is well worth a listen.  It captures the soul and essence of Undertale and pins it to the notes of a piano, and that’s no simple feat.  Click the button, do it do it do it

4 Piano Orchestra has done some wonderful medleys before, and this one is no different!  I spy with my little eye a “Wrong Enemy,” “Amalgam,” Gaster’s Theme, “The song that might play when you fight Sans,” and “Good Night.”  As always, great arrangements and piano work, and totally worth a listen!

A beautiful piano rendition of Asgore’s theme.  (Also features some great speedpaint footage as well, check it out!)  Very nice production values here! The beginning of this piece in particular is really great- the rubato time signature gives it a faltering, remorseful feel, and it conveys a sense of desperation and despair that’s really nice.  This isn’t an intense remix of Asgore- this is a sad, regretful remix, laden with memories and mistakes.
Great work here!

I think some people asked for a speedpaint… especially a friend… haha (||^p^)…*stares*
(but it makes me really nervous I can’t really draw while recording… but this is my attempt here (>ω<)… and weird piano playing offbeat… haha *sob*)

A hybrid track that mixes Gaster’s theme with Megalovania.  It’s haunting and solemn, and more than a little bit ominous.  It’s also classy and stylish, with undertones of jazz from Megalovania mixed with the foreboding of Gaster’s theme.  It makes good use of some orchestra samples and a tinkling music box,
This is a neat track.  I like it a lot.

Short and sweet, this remix of Dogsong is sure to warm the hearts of even the most stalwart of dog haters.  Just stare into Greater Dog’s eyes and tell me that he isn’t the greatest thing you have ever seen. I bet you won’t be able to get the words out before admitting that you were so, so wrong.
No but this song is adorable.  It’s bouncy and bright, and reflects the innate charm inherent to Undertale as a whole.  Great guitar playing, great everything.  Just.  Great.  Greater dog. Love this

A fast-paced, intricate piano remix of Spider Dance.  I am continually impressed by Kyle Landry’s technique and precise articulation.  This song is a spider web of weaving melody lines and it’s beautiful behold.  Also the part at 2:10 shouldn’t be possible to play- and yet somehow he did it.
If you like fast, difficult piano parts, this is the song for you.  Listen and be amazed.  This track is excellent.

Sweet mother of monsters, this Ruins remix. :O
Okay so I really, really like the arrangement and instrumentation on this.  If you told me that the Ruins theme needed an accordion, I’d probably laugh, but wow does it work here!  It meshes nicely with the acoustic guitar, and makes for a folksy, old-fashioned, rustic kind of song with an undeniable charm and style.
This song is excellent and is well worth a click.  Give it a try- you won’t regret it!

A slow, mournful rendition of Determination- the song that plays when you die in Undertale.  This arrangement seems like it would need like five hands to be played properly, but Kyle Landry here defies the laws of physics and plays all those notes with just two hands.  It’s kind of awesome to watch.  Props dude!  This song is fantastic.
*The sound of somebody playing the piano so well...
*It fills you with DETERMINATION.

This is an orchestral arrangement of “Bonetrousle” that I did. While the original definitely gives off that comical charm, with this arrangement I tried inject moments of urgency for the battle!
A gorgeous orchestral remix of Bonetrousle.  Loving the strings here!  They add a flavor of epic-ness to this comical battle theme, and I definitely that it’s a little more intense than a lot of versions of this theme that I’ve heard.  It has a lot of energy and dynamism, and that’s something that most good Bonetrousle remixes have in spades.
Really digging the sound quality here, as well.  The arrangement is spot on and the whole thing sounds like it could be from a film version of Undertale from an alternate universe.

Orchestrated medley of Undertale, but played by a real life orchestra!
youtube
(just gonna embed that here in case the top link doesn’t work)
I count:  Fallen Down, Ruins, Heartache, Snowdin Town, Bonetrousle, Memory, Waterfall, It’s Raining Somewhere Else, Spear of Justice, Alphys, Spider Dance, Bergentruckung, Megalovania, Hopes and Dreams, SAVE the world, His Theme, Goodbye
OP wasn’t kidding; the first part is a little rough.  If you are short on patience (or have low tolerance for intonation issues/missed notes), you might want to skip to 5:00 in.  That’s when Snowdin Town starts and the arrangement gets some momentum going.
(As a side note, I actually love the arrangement of Heartache here, but it has some problems with intonation, missed notes, etc.  Megalovania and Spider Dance are crisp as can be, but the first five minutes of the piece needed about two weeks more of rehearsal, because it seems like the musicians do not know those parts as well as some of the later parts.)
This is a very long arrangement, and for sheer length I’m willing to cut a little slack to the orchestra.  There are some parts that really sparkle.  Snowdin Town is very good, and Spider Dance and Megalovania and Bonetrousle are very good.  Memory and Waterfall are also quite good, albeit much more simple.
The percussion is good throughout.  There are some outstanding soloists, and some other great melodies interspersed throughout.  Props to the people who did the arrangement- I’ve done arranging work like this, and I would guess that many hours went into this arrangement.  Also props to the orchestra, because 24 minutes of music would have taken many hours of rehearsal to perfect.  The final result is imperfect but still fun to listen to, and I have nothing but the highest respect for you guys.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAok the first part was rough as hell but stick with us because it gets good.

The Choice is not a song we often see remixed around these parts, so this track is special for that reason alone.  Even putting that aside, this track is special for its haunting and resonant nature- it’s the pensive, almost prayerful or worshipful version of the determined Undertale track.  It feels like something you might hear a choir of monks singing in a huge cathedral somewhere, and carries an air of eeriness and holiness at the same time.
This is a really neat track.  Give it a try!
The next track in my Acoustic Undertale series!

No seriously, String Player Gamer’s stuff is always wonderful, and this song is no exception.  It might make you feel a little cooler in the summer heat, too.  This track is great.
