Obanai & Mitsuri (Kimetsu no Yaiba): Does Gotoge even has feelings? Like, Obanai was forced to live a life of suffering, trauma and guilt for everything that happened in his childhood and then he met Mitsuri, a literal angel that decided to hold her insecurities in order to protect the weak ones. They find in the other one the strenght to fight their fears and PUM, Infinite Castle appears.

What was the point of all this? Like, was it really necessary to make it so damn painful?

Itachi: *puts his arm around him* It’s not stupid. And there’s no set time frame for grieving for those close to you. I think as ninja, we tend to forget that. I think it’s impressive that you show such humanity.

Deidara, blushing: Yeah, yeah … but you know Danna himself would say I’m being weak. 

Itachi: Perhaps; he was always rather blunt, wasn’t he? But I’d wager that deep down, he’d actually be really flattered that you held, and still hold him in such high regard.

Deidara: Maybe, hm. It’s just … nights are the hardest. Laying in that bed in the dark and staring at the ceiling, listening to the clock tick away the hours …

Itachi: How about tonight, you stay in here with me? *fluffs up the pillow on Deidara’s side before laying down on his own* That way you won’t be alone, and guess what? I don’t have a clock.
