Holy fuck, the swimming segments. IGN wasn't wrong, they really were painful, but through sheer force of will, I pushed through. I hope the next games aren't like that.
Also RIP Griffon I guess. Dude got fried by his boss, just cuz he lost a fight. He didn't deserve that, man!

No idea how, or why, but that Angelo bastard was easier the second time. The guide said it would be even tougher, considering the cramped area, but I beat him first try. I felt like a god.
In the back of my mind, I know I'll have to face him again eventually. I'd like to have this happiness for a little while longer, at least. Yknow, before this retro game does what retro games do: kick players in the nuts repeatedly.

Another batch of Kyrii stuff, straight from my Minecraft world!
The nearby villagers have been having a lot of babies lately, and Rygar often just stares at them for hours on end. I think it's a bug in his ai, not sure exactly what though.
Kyrii was finally able to convince him to visit his cave, but Rygar was not exactly impressed. Kyrii's raccoon pickpocketed him, and stole a random baby off him, which begs the question: why did Rygar have some random baby in his inventory?
The biggest event by far was the elephant double-kill. A farmer was getting upset that a wandering elephant had trampled her crops, so Kyrii tried to get rid of it for her. The elephant chased him up a tree, and as the fight continued, it went berserk, and killed two nearby villagers. Whoops!
Hoping things get better soon. Maybe even a wedding? (Although I doubt Kyrii would believe in such legal institutions, or even the concept of romance).

Holy fuck, that Nelo de Angelo boss... that dude genuinely had me stuck for nearly a month, made me take a break from playing out of fear of not getting past him. One of the toughest early-game bosses I've ever faced, if not the toughest. Absolutely ridiculous, made me study the combat of this game just to scrape by. 10/10, I hope I never see him again.
Also RIP Phantom I guess.

Thinking back, about the first Phantom fight, I had it easy. Not sure what I was complaining about, because by the time I got to Nelo de Angelo, it paled in comparison. More on that bastard in the next page, stay tuned.
Also, am I the only one who thinks the 'kill 100 baby Phantoms in 30 seconds' secret missions are super funny? The best contraceptive is Dante, apparently.

More Kyrii adventures, from my massively modded Minecraft world.
Dude got jumped by a nearly invisible monster in his own cave. The Born in Chaos mod is no joke, folks.
Kyrii loves going to his nearby village every morning, and attempting to seduce his love interest. It never works. Maybe someday, he'll learn manners, though I doubt that.

Designed a new OC, after I discovered a 190 mod Minecraft pack, and have been playing it nearly every other day for the past week.
His name is Kyrii, and yes, he's named after a Neopets species.
He was once a bounty hunter in a desert town, but got caught up in some political stuff, and fled. After living in the wilderness for about a month, He's become a bit of a caveman, and now abandons all sense of modern civilization for a cave in the side of a mountain.

Page 2 of my Devil May Cry playthrough. Part of Playstation Game Diaries, a comic series where I chronicle my experiences playing Playstation games for the first time. Read top to bottom.
Nobody told me the combat was gonna be difficult. I mean, I sorta assumed it would be, with the whole letter graded combo meter thing, but geez, it's punishing. Most enemy fights are OK, but the game didn't tell me how to do shit. I had to use the manual that came in the game box to even figure out how to shoot!
And that first boss, sheesh! Most games would give you a simple first boss, to test what you've learned, but I guess those guys at Capcom were having a little chuckle that day in the dev room, because Phantom was DIFFICULT. It probably took me 20 tries to beat him, mostly from me trying to dodge but accidentally jumping. Glad it's over, though. Onwards!

Let's start a new playthrough!
Devil May Cry! Yeah!
After finishing God of War, I was ready for something new, something different, something easier. Boy, was I in for a surprise! Turns out, many (including my good pal who gave me her old copy of Megaman X Collection), consider Devil May Cry to be quite tough, but that's not gonna stop me. I've got the eye of the tiger, and the patience of a 10 year old!

Sims 4 modded playthrough stuff.
My OC, Verrin, lives in a house with Steve Minecraft, Mario, and the Onceler. Steve offered Verrin some weird mushrooms, before they went clubbing. They both had quite the interesting experiences....
Later, Eliza Pancakes invited herself over. She and Verrin got spicy, then he stabbed her and called it a night. It took 5 hours for anyone to find the body. Now, her blood-gushing ghost can be found in most public places, ready to give Verrin shit.
So yeah, there's a lot of lore here. Sorry for yall who don't like that, but I might be posting about it a lot lately.

Nothing can keep me from making wildly complex stories and lore in my Sims 4 game. Well, not much can...
Context:
Tom and Jerry, as anime boys, live together. A while back, Jerry caught the eye of a minor chaos demon, after killing one of the Landgraabs through hijinks. The demon offered Jerry a small piece of his powers, in exchange for sowing chaos in the mortal realm.
This, soon, brought Demaro (from Tails Gets Trolled) to him, and the two formed a bond through demons. They planned a house party at Jerry's place, where they'd make a sacrifice to their demonic hosts.
Tom, who also possesses some powers, had a premonition about it, and went to alert his friend Wile E Coyote. They planned to stop the party, but were too late. By the time Tom got home from work, Jerry had already burned someone alive, and the sacrifice was complete. Tom fought them both, but was forced to flee. It's unknown what he will do now....
My lore is intense, and its only gonna get crazier as I play more, so maybe look out for more art soon?

SPOILERS FOR THE END OF GOD OF WAR (2005)
The 11th and final page of God of War. Part of Playstation Game Diaries, a comic series where I chronicle all the weird stuff I encounter when playing Playstation games for the first time. Read from top to bottom!
After finally conquering Pandora's Temple, I guess Ares decided that I was having too much fun, and impaled me like a kebab. I think that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me with this game, the moment that made me put down the game and take a moment to think about my life choices.
I tried to take a week break, but quickly realized that the longer I wait, the more the game would haunt me, so I returned after 3 days to beat it. And after everything, I can confidently say... it wasn't bad.
If the entire game were like the first half, it would be a solid action adventure game that I might even consider coming back to for God Mode. Pandora's Temple, though, really soured he experience for me, and I don't think I want to put up with that bullshit anytime soon. Maybe in a year, I don't know...

Guys, why is Hades like that? Canonically, he's brothers with Zeus and Poseidon, and they look normal, so why is Hades such a monstrocity? I get it, he's the lord of all the dead, but still...
And finally, after everything, Pandora's temple was over! I legit wanted to kick that architect's ass by the end of it, after everything he'd put me through. My temple experience went from wonderful to horrifying pretty quickly, and only got worse the more time I spent there. I hope I never have to see it again.

Those cerberus puppies were such a pain! There's always 5 hundred of them, and they're always doing that meteor dive attack, so I'm stuck just blocking most of the time. Good thing they give health if you grab them.
But holy crap, from Challenge of Poseidon onwards, this game got RIDICULOUS. That underwater tunnel took me at least a dozen tries, and once I got past that, there were hundreds of other traps I had to deal with that took me just as long! I swear, the game designers were thinking about what would look cool, and didn't think about how the average player would handle it. Everything is so time sensitive, and if you make even the slightest slip-up, you might as well start over.
I hope the second game isn't like this...

Page 8 of my God of War playthrough. Part of my Playstation Game Diaries comics, where I chronicle all the stuff that happens in games I play for the first time.
So, uh, God of War has gotten exponentially harder every time I play it, as I near the end. It's gotten to the point where I need to use walk-throughs a lot, and even then, puzzles or certain fights can take up to half an hour to complete. I haven't given up yet, but sometimes I almost want to.
No matter what, I will finish this game, though. I need to know how it ends.
