A/N: Y/N as a karasuno manager!!! we love yachi in this house but i’ve written to kinda replace her :(

Being bought in as a secondary manager for your high schools volleyball team was nothing short of entertaining. As a first year, you never really took time to invest in any other clubs due to just not finding one that didn’t fit you well. So when a third year stopped you in the halls and asked you to try it out, how could you really say no?

Though who knew you would then be surrounded by so much chaos. 

The third years took to you pretty quickly, them all being very sweet and helping you to learn the ropes before it comes time for them to graduate. The second years, well two in particular, are hot on your heels every practice for you to give them any kind of praise or attention which you always happily give them. But you mix in the best with those sharing the same year as you, well all besides one.

He introduced himself on your first day and it’s all the interaction you’ve had alone with him since you started, the teams setter Kageyama. You found him to be a little intimidating at first, but seeing his interactions with the wing spiker who you had grown quite close to certainly helped to ease your worries of him. It turns out he was just a very serious person, you doing your best to interact with him and give him praise where you can in hopes of uplifting him.

The other three first years are easy to get along with, you manage to bond with each of them in your own way not long after deciding to stick around and continue your work as a manager. Especially since you’re in the same classes, they ended up finding out a lot about you, including how you can get kind of nervous in crowded spaces. They, as well as the odd other few in the team, always make sure to give you space and help you avoid big crowds which you appreciate greatly. 

Before you know it, time rolled around to where you would join them on their visit to a training camp in Tokyo before one of their big competitions. You had helped the other manager, Kiyoko, set everything up and load the bus before heading off, excited to see how the team will fare against those from what are considered the powerhouse schools.

However, before you arrived you decided now would be a good time to tell Kiyoko and the team coach about your nerves since you’ll be in such a busy environment for the next few days. They already had their suspicions but take note to look out for you, which you are sure to thank them for. Upon entering the huge gym alongside the team, you begin helping to set up for the first practice game.

Thankfully on the first day there was no need for you to worry about anywhere being crowded, you being swept off your feet almost right away to help during breaks and take notes on the other teams for everyone to go over later. This continued over the time you had spent there, that is until dinner on the last night.

You were sat on a bench watching two of the other teams compete in a practice game, taking detailed notes on their quick attacks and effective blocks since coach had told you to focus on them. Writing had put you in such deep concentration you hadn’t realised everyone else had began clearing out, after there was an announcement they would be eating outside. A member of one of the teams gets your attention and begins leading you out, the sudden close proximity of the teams and the crowd awaiting you outside starting to make you more and more anxious.

With a quick apology you excuse yourself, deciding to remain inside to avoid your nerves getting any worse. However you don’t notice your own teams setter standing behind you, realising this was the kind of situation you were talking about on the bus and with his fellow first years.

His reflexes kick in before he has the chance to think and he grabs your hand tightly, earning a shocked gasp from you. “What are you-” you start, but are cut off by him as he starts leading you outside.

“You have to make sure you eat, keep a hold of my hand and I’ll lead you through.”, you don’t notice how red his face goes when you grip his hand back, allowing him to take you through the crowd and getting you a plate of your own food.

Once you both find somewhere to sit, his hand doesn’t leave yours, so with a sudden boost in confidence you lace your fingers together with his.

“Thank you for looking out for me Kageyama, I don’t know what I’d have done if you hadn’t found me” you tell him with a smile, the second blush on his face now going noticed by you.

“I-it’s no problem, now eat.” he mumbles and you laugh at his sudden shyness, eating together while watching the sun begin to set over the gym building.

He walks you back to the rooms that night without much word, your hands together still as he makes you promise if you’re ever nervous to come and find him from now on.

“So, what should we start with?”.

Yachi lays out the subject books for what you’ll all be going over, audible groans coming from the table. It causes you to laugh, turning to a clean page of your notebook in preparation. Before you sat your fellow first years - Hinata and Kageyama. Since knowing Yachi since right at the start of the year, you had become aware of the boys she now holds the title of “manager” to.

Apparently they had needed some help with studying for their upcoming exams, coincidentally in the classes you were at the top of. Alongside your blonde friend, you were happy to accept when the two boys all but pleaded for you both to help them pass. Something about a training camp after the exams rang around the conversation, but you could tell from their faces how much they were in need of help.

Sitting up properly now, your attention goes straight to them both. “I’m fine for you two to decide, what subject should we go over first?” you ask, tilting your head slightly in curiousity. In comedic unison, they both reply without missing a beat.

“Kanji”, “English!”

Another laugh leaves you, the same as it does for Yachi. As if predicting this would happen, she reaches an ultimatum fairly quickly. “Alright, then why don’t I tutor Hinata and you, Kageyama?” she turns to you, giving her a nod of approval as you begin to search for your notes on the subject the taller boy is in need of help in. Once you do so, you swap seats with Hinata as he stands, assuming he’ll follow your friend and start work in another room so there’s no distractions - though you don’t miss the look they give each other before they’re out of sight.

edit: Its 3pm i just woke up sorry. At 12am, Manuel Merino dimitted from being the presidente. HOWEVER, this doesn't change the fact that there are still 105 lawmakers that lead us to this situation and ofc he is not in jail. In Colmena (the place that yesterday i mentioned police were still shooting at 5am) THE MISSING PEOPLE ARE NOT APPEARING. We know 47 missing persons and nothing about their locations. Please, keep spreading the word of what is going on here

To make it as short as possible, basically, president MARTIN VIZCARRA(currently investiged for corruption) was ousted by the congress on the basis of "moral incapacity" The problem is that 68 of 130 of that lawmakers are under investigation or even INDICTED from charges ranging from money laundering to even MURDER.

The man who is currently in rule of the country is MANUEL MERINO, who has no finished studies and is a homophobic, misogynist, racist and a murderer. He has called people who live in the mountain rage "alpacas y vicuñas" (typical animals from the zone) and said that if you're a woman in the politics you should "at least be pretty". This situation has make our country to already have THREE PRESIDENTS in FIVE YEARS.

Peru has shown the clearly disgust and rage over him being the president and has demand for him to leave the charge. In the middle of a pandemic with high death rates, Peru has been protesting against de goverment for almost a week now. ( 🇵🇪 ) ( 🇵🇪 ) However, the worst thing happened today in the early morning.

Today, November 14th, in the second official march against the congress, the police who swore to protect us commited numerous abuses against their own people.

INTI SOTELO CAMARGO and JACK BRYAN PINTADO SANCHEZ were MURDERED by the peruvian POLICE. ( 🇵🇪 )

As i'm writting this (almost 5am), the police is STILL shooting at the people who are left in the streets. There are at least 20 missing people and a 100 injured THAT WE KNOW. ( 🇵🇪 ) The police threw gas over the people FROM HELICOPTERS ( 🇵🇪 ), they aimed their shots towards the face and chest (🇵🇪 ), they even started fires to bring the attention of the press to shoot gas over a PACIFIC PROTEST THAT THEY ALLOWED MINUTES BEFORE. ( 🇵🇪 )

PLEASE SPREAD WHAT IS HAPPENING. THEY ARE KILLING US. "PRESIDENT" MERINO HAS NOT SAID A WORD SINCE YESTERDAY, WE DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE HE IS. PLEASE SHARE THIS AND LET OUT VOICES BE HEARD #PERUVIANLIVESMATTER
