"Abandoned and forgotten by the world, it was the rats that saved him. They gave him company. They gave him food. They gave him a crown fashioned from wood and bone. Now they follow him, a court enthralled, as he whispers in their vermin tongue.
He is the Rat King, the lowliest of monarchs, and he looks up at those above him with scorn."
Made this guy for a modjam that the Shadows of Forbidden Gods discord is holding.

In my vision I saw a dying world, its land laid bare, its sky choked by dark clouds.
Within it I saw a city, its buildings covered in jagged chimneys and strange metal growths. Inside they had been hollowed out and filled with machinery that screeched and screamed.
I saw people covered in that strange metal, mindlessly working and dying.
Then I saw myself, and I realized this was our city. Our world. Our future.

The finished portrait for my evil factory god mod for Shadows of Forbidden Gods, a strategy game where you play as an eldritch god trying to end the world. The current working name for this bad boy is Aberrant Metal.

WIP of that factory god idea I had for a SOFG mod.
It's heavily based on my headcanons of the Factory in SCP lore (ie that's it's a big macro-organism that functions like a fungus)

An emissary of the Inundai Court.
Every pantheon acts as an ecosystem, and every ecosystem has its share of parasites and scavengers. When a god dies, minor death dieties swarm to consume its divine corpse. Opportunistic gods, too weak to have their own followers, gather to absorb the desperate prayers of dying worlds.
The so-called Inundai Court trails behind the maddening gods of the sea, the apocalypses they cause serving as a whalefall the Court can feast upon.

Adolia, the Faceless Memory
“Deep in the mind a memory mutates to make room for something new. It’s forced to resurface, and while its contents have faded with time, the victim can’t help but notice how vividly they remember that strange figure in the background.
More memories are recalled, each fresher than the last, all altered to contain that same faceless figure
It becomes the only thing they can think about.
The only thing they can remember.
The only thing they can be.”

Playing around with the concept of a Mekhanite exile/heretic. Originally I was going to say they are a Mekhanic (they consider Robert Bumaro a power-hungry heretic and assassinate him in SCP-2834), but looking through the wiki I can’t find much on them aside from two tales in the La Rue Macabre Canon (which I’m now adding to my list of canons to read)
Anyways, if Cogwork Orthodoxy is steampunk and Maxwellism is cyberpunk, there probably a dieselpunk sect out there and this guy is definitely a member.
