I wonder if that “mermaid” is Kenji’s birth mom. Because he’s mention “Dad and Candy,” so I’m thinking he has a step-mom.
Kenji’s adorable childhood drawing…

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 3 was BY FAR the best so far, and damn, was it gay.
SPOILERS ✖️✖️✖️✖️
Yaz and Sammy?? They kept calling each other “best friends,” but everything they did was couple-like AND even Brooklyn asked if Sammy had a crush on Yaz.
Ben and Darius?? Lmao, their fight. “We blew up stuff together! Did that mean nothing to you??”
Also, that Scorpios Rex was insanely scary. I jumped more than a few times this season. The way it moved was unreal, and I remember being truly blown away by some of the wide shots.
This season felt so much more intense than the others. Definitely more dead dinosaurs on screen than ever before. And it was AWESOME seeing the many, many movie tie-ins. This season had more movie references than the other two combined by far.
Goddamn, they’ve been on the island for six months! I couldn’t believe that when I heard it.
Anyway, I watched it all in one sitting so there you go.

Okay.
Anyone remember the TellTale game for Jurassic Park?
My favorite dino was this creepy little fella, the Troodon
Quick Expo: The Troodon were recreated by Dr. Laura Sorkin, who in the games, was the chief scientist before Dr. Wu (in game canon only as far as I can tell). John Hammond didn’t think it would fit in, as it was dangerous and probably wouldn’t draw in guest, so he wanted them euthanized, but Sorkin kept them alive for study.
They’re three foot tall bird-like therapods who are very fast, intelligent, and in game, nocturnal pack hunters with venomous bites. This venom could cause hallucinations, aggression, violent outbursts that lead to seizures, paralysis, brain damage and lastly death. Females would often bite prey, bring the paralyzed body to her nest, rip it open while it was still alive and…well, ever see alien? Yeah…that.
As far as my research goes, they are very sensitive to light, so much that a road flare scares them off.
So why do I want these guys to be in the tank?
Well, besides the nightmare fuel I so lovingly delivered to you, think about the possibilities. A smaller nocturnal hunter in a pack with a venomous bite. Who can sneak through vents. This is kinda horrifying when one thinks about it.
What if the kids were running from it and couldn’t get away even indoors?
What if one of them got bit? Would they have to split up to find Sorkin’s notes and try to find a cure? Would the victim be dragged to a nest? How would the others rescue them? Will Sammy and Yaz set off a light trap? Will Brooklynn beat one with a fire torch? Will Darius shine for his info and save the day with a brilliant plan? Will Ben dip Kenji like a damsel? (Honestly this is sounding like a bad fic)
There are so many possibilities for a dino like this.
