I was gifted some seeds from D back in March. Planted them in a tiny pot with no expectations of how they’re gonna turn out but merely a trail to see if I can keep something else alive other than myself. We’ve been through ups and downs and S helped me transferring them to this McDonald’s ice cream cup to keep them alive as the original pot was too small for them. I was very pleased with myself of keeping it alive for the 3 months I’ve had them. At the end of June when I left, I have gifted my green back to D as a thank you 😂 otherwise I’d throw them away. Again had no expectations of how they’re gonna turn out. Few days ago, K sent me this photo with my lovely plant growing lovely than ever before and little did I knew that they almost died due to lack of care. Thanks to K they have prospered as they should be! It has made me to think: aren’t we all the same as these plants? Everyone comes to the world as a little seed with no difference from one of the other. I guess I still have a bit more to share. Took 3 hours boarder crossing from #serbia to #hungary never had that ridiculously long time spent on waiting my passport to be checked. The number of cars waiting to cross the border started to line up kilometers away from the actual check point from both sides. It’s exactly 6 weeks since I started my trip. Visited 15 countries (16 counting England) and more than 20 different places, crossed borderlines 20 times. It’s all coming to an end. When people see my photo and be ‘jealous’ of what I was doing. They don’t know what I have experienced. It’s a challenge for me as well. I’ve never been on a journey alone for so long. I’ve never backpacked. I’ve never had any experience with boarder crossing on a coach. But I took the challenge and went for it. I call my trip a journey, not a holiday or vacation. Because to me, holiday or vacation suppose to be relaxing. I don’t get up 11am and sitting by the pool sipping cocktails. I got up at 8am, 7am or even 5am sometimes to start my day either to visit places or to catch my bus. I took over night bus which means sometimes I don’t get a proper rest for more than 30 hours. I’ve had difficult situations where I feel helpless and scared. I’ve had delays with flight and buses and I couldn’t follow my original plans. I’ve had hostels cancelled on me that leaves me no place to sleep. I’ve walked on average 10km daily. I’ve had days that I only had one meal a day because I don’t have time to eat. I’ve had days that I need to shower 3 times to cool myself down. But, all these experiences have given me the opportunities to cruise on the beautiful lakes, to have amazing views from top of the mountains, to swim in heaven like lakes and sea, to eat delicious food I haven’t had for so long, to meet people who share their interesting life stories and to teach myself a life long lesson. There are things I have shared with you my dear friends, but I have much more stories that I can’t just share with simple words but to stay in my memories. I don’t know if I’ll have this opportunity again in the near future. I am glad I took the opportunity to do it. And I AM PROUD OF MYSELF!
