Aaaaaaaand here it is! The League of Legends commission. The person who commissioned this from me wanted the perspective of a spying jungler hiding in the brush, watching Kled fight Fiora, while Janna looks on in exasperation. Adrian, I hope this is all that you imagined.

I realise some details about the characters might be a bit off, but I do have the tendency to take liberties and I don’t think it takes away from the ability to recognise any of the champions.

Here it is! I finished the League of Legends piece I was working on. This was inspired by the lore behind Thresh, Lucian, and Lucian’s wife, Senna.

This is A3-sized Bristol board paper, inked entirely with brush pen and coloured with green, cyan, and white ink. I tried to restrict myself a bit this time as I do have the tendency of going overboard. Granted, it was much quicker than other pieces, I was working on it a bit loosely and mindlessly, but I think it turned out pretty cool :D

There might be another League of Legends and/or Dota 2 piece coming soon, but at the moment I’ll focus on finishing any remaining bookmarks I want to do for the Cyprus Comic Con (which is in two weeks, by the way. Approtis and I will be waiting ;)).

A short time lapse of what I’m working on right now :)

I’m attempting to use a brush pen to do all the inking for this, thick and thin. It’s a bit trickier than using a good old brush with ink because I can’t really control the ink flow and how opaque or liquid it is… but the darkness is AMAZING and the lines look so deliberate. It’s perfect for helping loosen up the strokes and not worrying so much :)

I. Need. A. Nap. I couldn't resist and I stayed up all night to finish this, but it was worth it. I think. In case you have not made her acquaintance yet, let me introduce you to Lina, the Slayer, from the video game Dota 2. Lina loves to play with fire, and that's totally her pun, not mine. In fact, I think she's claimed every fire pun in existence... So I've been trying to work on the way I use lighting, and I think that there's definite improvement in this drawing, at least compared to all my previous ones, but I still have a long way to go :) I'll get there though. Anyway, please let me know what you think, and stay tuned if you're interested in seeing what art I manage to muster up before Comic Con. And don't forget to have a lovely day :) I'm gonna go take that nap now.

Approtis/By Trial and Error COLLABORATION... JULIET STARLING!

So finally, after a long week of aggressively working on this piece, it’s finally finished. With the fabulous layout and characters done by none other than the also just as fabulous @bytrialanderror , I’ve managed to implement my style and colouring onto it to create this awesome poster. HARK! I JUST FINISHED IT!

Behold… The results of the bytrialanderror x approtis collaboration are upon us!

It’s Bayonetta, ladies and gents! It’s absolute chaos!

We took two separate roads with this one. We both lined our work traditionally, but Approtis went the digital route with his colouring, since he was going for a very posterish, arcade-y look. Half-tone shading is to die for, let’s be honest.

I took the traditional path, and just did it with good ol’ ink and markers. I just don’t trust myself with an ‘Undo’ button, guys. I’d never get anything done.
