it's really insane that one minute you create this vague story idea when you're 11 and the next you have 5 books planned of the main series, 8 books for another series starring the main character's daughter, a duology about another main character from that beginning series and then 3 different other stories about other kids and a bunch of prequels you could write about people who founded the country they are in—

A character whose friends and family constantly get concerned about marks or minor injuries on them even when they don't care. Maybe they used to self-harm and no one believes them when they say they've kicked the habit or maybe the people around them just don't know how to keep their mouths shut. Either way, this character has to be extremely careful to never get hurt by accident.

Worse if this character is keloid-prone since keloids can occur from even minor skin trauma and often don't show up until months or years after the initial injury (and when they do show up they're often much much larger than the original wound). People just don't believe them when they say they genuinely can't remember what happened.
