What are your fav female characters from other media who are strong in the more feminine sense?

These type of characters are such a breath of fresh air from the usual cool strong girl archetype

thank you so much, love! 💗 I was actually thinking of making a post like that... but I thought meh, no one would care 😂 and now you sent this ask and I'm like sdfghjkl people gonna think I sent it to myself 😭🥴

so, obviously – look at my url – Sansa Stark. I actually liked her from the beginning and I don't mean to pit the sisters against one another but I could just see myself more in her than in Arya. I love her growth and her strength.

another woman from my url is Princess Leia Organa. she actually knows how to fight but she is not like spectacular at it + she is force sensitive so it makes sense why she can do it. but she remains feminine and later she is a strong political figure more than a fighter.

another character from Game of Thrones – Cersei Lannister. I don't really like her but I admire her scheming and the way she loves her children and despite not rooting for her while watching the show, she inspires me when I create my own stories.

I think Margaery Tyrell also counts – and so does her grandmother lol

now, last but not least from Game of Thrones universe – THE mother, THE queen, THAT bitch... Alicent Hightower.

now, from a different type of media... Linda Shelby. she's so 🛐🛐🛐 and I hate how she is treated by the fans. 😭

you may laugh at me but – Portia Featherington – not only she's a MILF but also the way she schemes in the society is soooo good. and at the same time she chooses her girls over everything else. 😌

Elizabeth of York from The White Princess is one of my favourite characters ever and I love love love this show because it has all the best things about the arranged marriage trope.

Speaking of these tv shows (The White Queen / The White Princess / The Spanish Princess), there's one more character that I really like and she's a religious fanatic and she's crazy but she's also a traumatised woman and she won't stop from putting her son on the throne... that woman is Margaret Beaufort.

there's this tv show about Sissi that is called The Empress and I really love her mother-in-law there lmao not only she's a super MILF but I also love how cunty she is – Archduchess Sophie.

I also can't forget to mention Agnes van Rhijn from The Gilded Age because she might be my favourite character in the show lmao

𝐓he sun began to set on Birmingham and all Natalia had done was lay in bed, staring at the wall. Polly had noticed that the girl done this quite often, well everyday actually. Natalia wasn't the same outgoing, loud and courageous girl she used to be - in fact she was the opposite.

The Daneili girl hadn't had a full week out of bed since the boys had left for France, and that concerned the elder woman tremendously. Polly had taken Natalia in at a very young age, when her father ran away and left the young girl in the living room, with her dying mother in her arms. Natalia was fond with the Shelby kids and loved them dearly. She loved Polly just as much.

She got along with the three eldest brothers the most; Arthur, Tommy and John. Everyday she was painfully reminded that they were gone, that they were gone fighting in a bloody war that they shouldn't be.

Just as the brunette hair girl decided that she would finally gonna go downstairs and make herself a good cuppa (with two sugars, of course) Polly, the saint she was, trotted through her front door with biggest smile that even god couldn't paint.

Natalia quickly turned around with a raised eyebrow and a hand gripped on her holster. "Don't worry, darling. It's just me." Polly said as she placed a hand woven basket onto the kitchen table that was in placed in the centre of the room. "Morning' Pol, scared me for a sec." The Danieli girl laughed, walking over to get the sugar cubes and a spoon. Natalia carefully held the two cubes in her hand because knowing herself she would of accidentally crushed them.

"What's got you so cheerful then, eh?" She asked, resulting in the Gray pulling out a letter from the woven basket. "Open it."

Natalia did so, opening it with caution like there was a spider inside of it or something crazy like that. The brunette shook her head with confusion,

"I can't read," she muttered, "you'll have to read it for me." Polly rolled her eyes, a tad bit more dramatic than she was trying to be and grabbed the letter from Nat's hand. "You bloody fool!" Polly exclaimed slapping her arms by her side,

"Our bloody boys are coming back!"

Natalia couldn't describe what she was feeling, it was a mix of emotions.

She was most certainly overjoyed, I mean, her best friends were coming home! But at the same time, she felt somewhat sad.

She couldn't help but feel sorrow for all of the innocent boys that had lost their lives. But that was Natalia, time to look on the brighter side: her boys were on their way back.

One thing was for sure, the Italian girl did not waste any time on getting ready, and what Ada would say; "Dolled up."

She felt a rush of excitement run through her body like a lightning bolt. Once she had got her favourite burgundy dress on and her black boots (that for once weren't covered in mud) she had to tame her rats nest.

Natalia didn't like to call it a rats nest, she likes to think of it as a mane. Whatever made her feel more powerful.

She started by brushing it aggressively, with much force until she realised that was doing absolutely fuck all. She took it into account that the more calm she was the better it would turn out, and she had to look good for you know who.

She pulled and pulled the brush through her hair again and again and eventually it looked, somewhat, presentable.

Natalia doubled checked she had all of her weapons on her. She checked that her holster contained her two guns, she placed her switchblade in her boot and her pistol was in her purse.

Knowing that she had all of these items, she ran (faster than any Olympic medalist could in her opinion) downstairs and out the door to Polly's house. Natalia loved Polly's house, she would never deny it. It was more homely to her than her own bloody house!

Natalia swung the front door open and shouted Polly down, from where she was spraying perfume on in her bedroom. "Let's go Pol!" She leaned against the door frame. Polly just replied with a nod (which Natalia obviously couldn't hear)

Natalia tapped her foot impatiently until Polly finally came down the stairs. "Thank fucking God." She mumbled, dragging the older woman by her hand and into the street.

Polly's grip on Natalia's hand nearly stopped her blood circulation she was holding it that tight. Well, that's what Natalia thought.

The train station was full to the brim with women and their children to the point were Natalia could barely breathe! The nervousness had hit her like a fucking truck at this point, her heart was beating like a drum. Aunt Pol noticed this and gave her reassuring smile, which comforted Natalia right away.

At last the train came in - filled with bustling men and their need to break free. That's when Natalia's heart just stopped. It just completely stopped. She couldn't hear or feel it beating anymore. We're the nerves gone? No, but the drum in her chest was. And if Polly knew any better she would of said that that was a sign.

When all of the men started to pile out of the train and dash to their beloved families, Polly scattered around the station looking in each carriage, still holding onto Natalia's hand. It was when the woman had checked every carriage and every inch of the train she sighed.

"It can't be." The brunette girl furrowed her eyebrows when the tears began to prick up. Polly looked back at the girl and shook her head, "No, they're here. I know they are."

After calming her chest down, Natalia let out a loud huff. Suddenly a voice called out to her,

"Nat!" It echoed, "Natalia!"

The girl didn't waste a second to turn around. Low and behold, Arthur Shelby was standing twenty feet away from her, for the first time in four bloody years.

Natalia had to take a double take and blink a couple times before she came to the conclusion she wasn't paranoid. "Arthur!" She cried, "Its bloody Arthur!"

The two came crashing together, Arthur nearly knocked the poor girl out. He pulled her close into his chest, in Natalia's opinion he was strangling her but she wouldn't have it any other way.

Natalia, Arthur and John were the best trio in Birmingham (well that's what they called themselves) Arthur was like a big brother to her, she loved him. Although he was shaped out to be scary and dangerous, she saw him as a big cuddly teddy bear. And that's where he earned his nick name: Teddy. Hand plucked from Natalia herself.

He pulled her back for a moment and then kissed her forehead, "Still bliddy gorgeous, I see." He said before getting whisked away by Polly into a massive hug.

Natalia was breathless after getting put into a headlock by Arth, that she had take a moment to let herself breathe. And that was until she heard a bag fall onto the ground behind her.

Thomas.

Tommy fucking Shelby.

"Oh, Nat!" He weeped as he cradled her. Tommy sink to his knees and began to cry into her neck. Tommy and Nat. Tommy and bloody Nat back together again. She was the thunder before his storm. Most times when someone took the piss out of the Daneili girl, Tommy would be the one to teach them a fucking lesson.

"Natalia," He cried, "Iv missed you so much."

Natalia kisses his cheek and nestled into his shoulder, "For a minute Tomo, I didn't think you were on that train." She chuckled slightly. She lifted her head from the crook of his neck and stared into his ocean blue eyes. "You're bloody back!" She smiled as he helped her stand back up. He placed his hands on her shoulders and smiled, ah the smile she had been waiting to see. "Before you ask, he's over there." He said, jabbing his thumb behind him to where a man was standing with a big, cheeky, grin on his face.

"John!" Natalia exclaimed, running towards the man running back to her. "Fucking hell Natalia, Iv missed you so bloody much." He sobbed into her embrace. He hugged her tighter than he ever had before and just cried. He cried and she cried and they were just a big crying mess. Natalia held the back of his head and bawled.

The sun was set and the darkness started to take over Small Heath train station. The stars danced above their heads and the moon glistened. It was like a scene form Shakespeare. That's what's Nat would of said if she could pissing read.

She felt at home with his arms around her body, and so did he. They longed for each others touch for so long. For so bloody long they waited for this. And it was one hundred bloody percent worth it.

John let go of her for a moment and gazed into her chocolate brown eyes. The eyes he once fell into deep, deep love in. The eyes he had dreamt about in the trenches.

"I didn't know I would of been gone for that long, Nat. Your letters kept me alive." John said, stroking her cheek.

"John, you could of been gone for a hundred years and I would of still been standing here at this station." She smiled. "Thank Polly for them, she wrote them for me."

"You bloody what?!" He laughed as she shook her head in embarrassment, "I can't fucking read or write!" She whispered while he was in hysterics.

"They've got each other back." The blue eyed man said. "A- fucking - men." Arthur cheered as he pulled Polly underneath his arm and skipped to the garrison.

Meanwhile only a couple of feet away, Polly, Arthur and Tommy watched the pair laugh in each others arms.

The night was filled with laughter, tears and shouting. Natalia wouldn't of changed it for the world.
