I have to talk about this outrageous take that I've seen unfortunately pop up across platforms - i.e. that somehow it was Shoto's decision that Endeavor fought AFO instead of going to help Touya together like they promised. It leads to outlandish statements like Endeavor losing an arm in the fight against AFO is a sacrifice / atonement he made for Shoto.

So I'd like to invite everyone to review the events - and look not just at the dialogue presented, but the context clues and facial expressions to understand what truly happened and not fall for this narrative

Post-Dabi reveal

Yes, you have to go back a 100 chapters to Shouto thinking it's up to him to face Touya - mind you not because he wants to, but because he thinks Endeavor can't / won't.

Enter Rei who tells Shouto he's wrong, that what Touya truly NEEDS only Endeavor can give him - which leads to Shouto offering a hand to his dad. They'll do it together (implication: Shouto will fight / defend while Endeavor tries to talk to Touya).

2. Dark Deku arc

So now we are in the month when Deku is running around trying to find AFO / Shigaraki, while Shoto is trying hold Endeavor accountable to their promise (and Endeavor interpreting it as a personal support). Let's also remember that Touya was out in the open during this period - running to Toga's old house. He wasn't impossible to find with a little effort.

Endeavor was clearly paralyzed with indecision, while Shouto worked on a new move he made specifically for Touya.

3. The battle planning

The battle was planned by Hawks, All Might and Aizawa. Endeavor seemingly didn't participate. I think it was by choice. As still nominal No 1, as part of the Top 3, if he wanted he could have gone and insisted that the plan accommodates for him to face his son. But he chose not to choose, he chose to leave the decision to Hawks, who didn't understand that Endeavor's role was not to fight in that confrontation, and prioritized Endeavor over the promise the family made.

Shoto - a mere student tucked away in UA - had no input into the plan. His opinion was not asked.

4. The eve of the battle

When they receive the assignments on the eve of the battle, Shouto's face is clearly disappointed. And yes, he did receive a call from Endeavor then, but that was once more Endeavor trying to push his choice over to someone else - this time Shouto.

He gave Shouto a non-realistic option to throw a tantrum about him breaking his promise, when it crystal clear that it was too late to change things and Shouto would never inconvenience his friends over family matters. This phone call was not about Shouto deciding on the battle plan, but accepting a bad situation, trying to graciously reassure Endeavor and prioritizing everyone else.

5. Hint: Shouto is not fine

He keeps saying how he wanted this and how he's fine - but to his friends it's crystal clear that he's not fine. He's trying to reassure them, he's trying to rationalize it while his father had to let him down. But you can see on his face that this is not his choice. He hates inconveniencing others, making them worried, making his family problem be their problem.

6. Shouto's true feelings on the matter

Shouto reveals his true feelings about this to Touya. He's doing what he thinks he's right. But he's also criticizing Endeavor for running away from it, for waiting until there was no time to come up with something else. Shouto knows he's not whom Touya wants, but he's here anyways.

7. Endeavor prioritized his hero work and it led to disastrous consequences

There are also the voices to say that only Endeavor could face AFO. But this was not the case. Endeavor couldn't focus on the fight, he lost his cool, had to be bailed out by Hawks, Jirou, Tokoyami. They broke AFO's helmet that was the biggest obstacle.

And when Endeavor beat AFO, he just returned to a more powerful form anyway, which still was handled by a line of "extras", like Hawks, Shiketsu kids or Mineta, not to mention quirkless All Might...

Endeavor was not "essential" to that fight, unlike what Hawks thought.

And him not going to Touya meant that his son was burnt much more badly by the time they met. If Endeavor went with Shouto, they maybe could have been done in 5 minutes with Touya not spiralling with more rage and then both Endeavor and Shouto could have gone to help in other places. Touya's escalation is because Endeavor ignored him again.

But in the end, what did Endeavor achieve? He didn't stop AFO, he couldn't stop Touya, and still had to face him under worse circumstances. In my view, the narrative is not telling us he's making good, noble choices, but that he keeps running away to play hero until the every end.

I think the narrative tells us that it shouldn't be Shouto's job to fix and be the sacrificial lamb in Endeavor's place:

And I think Hori's choice to line up the family at the back of Vol 39 shows that Endeavor still owes them to step up as father, to do right by Touya, to make a choice that puts the family first and not his hero career and most importantly releases Shouto from the burden he's been carrying for him.

Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Reader (female)

Genre: angst to fluff, slice of life, slow burn, domestic.

Summary: Your jobs took up most of your time, hence not bring able to spend it on each other. This led to a series of blaming things on one another, only to end up in the arms of the other. Reader also likes Indian food, Reader is very short compared to katsuki.

Warnings: Suggestive, swearing, mentions of not doing things properly, angst, blaming, closer to reality.

Arguments

It's already 7:30 pm.

You were supposed to leave the house at 6:45. He hadn't shown up yet, he was running late. Again. For the 5th time this month.

This had been happening since 3 months now, you and katsuki could barely make time for eachother anymore due to your jobs. Whenever you managed to get off of work early, a new villain would choose to shine to the crowd. Mostly it was just pesky burglars, or just Some adult minor going off with a weak quirk to cause trouble. But since your lovely beloved was in the top 3, being the 2nd, he was required to be present at most of the crimes.

His job demanded him and his time immensely and you respected that. But you having to de-prioritise yours everytime to make time for the both of you, for it to not even be used, made it worthless to even try to.

Here you were staring at the clock, waiting for katsuki to get home.

The agency held him back to fill out the paper work for all the crimes he handled this past month. The crimes because of which he could never make it to the planned dates.

As you waited, the clock didn't stop, time flowing like a bottle of wine, it was about to be 8pm in about another 16-15 minutes. 8pm was the time of the reservation you guys booked for the evening. It was to the new restraunt which opened last to last week, it was an Indian one, and you loved it. You wanted to go since the day it opened but like always, you both didn't have the time.

3 minutes later you heard keys jangle into your door, katsukis here.

You got up from the couch and tried your best to scurry in your wine coloured bodycon dress while wearing 4 inch heels to reach katsukis shoulders atleast.

Katsuki entered to see you there, looking so pretty in the dim light. He assumed you turned the rest off, thinking he'd reach sooner and you guys will leave the house

"Fuck, baby, I'm sorry"

"Work is just busting my ass right now. All these idiots are good for nothing. I don't even know why I pay them.They do fucking nothing, it's as if they give me all their fucking Work to complete."

He said as he speed walked towards your shared bedroom to change out of his hero suit to wear a white button up with jeans instead.

That's when you spoke up and said,

"It's fine."

"Not like I had to forget my work and come home early." You mumbled the last line to yourself. Were you pissed? No.

Disappointed? Yes.

You kept quiet and didn't say anything till you guys made it in the car.

"Could we go a bit faster?" You said, "I mean like maybe speed up a bit?"

Katsuki squinted his eyes at you,"I can't just run over the red light Y/N" "plus I'm a hero, I'm bound to follow the law."

The silence between you two was heavy, just the radio in the background and the slightest noise of the air conditioner spewing cold air into your faces.

Soon enough, which was an hour and a half, you guys reached the restraunt. It was 9:30 now, and to your surprise the retraunt closes at 10.

So to make your mood even worse. They couldn't allow you guys to dine. Even though katsuki fought a bit, in a little less civilized manner, they unfortunately could not serve costumers some time before closing.

Defeated and sad you walked back to the car with a fuming and tired katsuki.

Katsuki was tired and hungry from working all day and driving for so long, only to drive back with nothing.

On the way back he sped up a little on the road since it was empty,

That's when you said something "Oh so now you decide to go faster?."

See, now, you were pissed. Not having food made you cranky. Like all the time. And with all the pressure of trying to keep a work-life balance, being hungry was the cherry on top for you.

He turned to look at you on the passenger seat,

He had a look of anger and a little hurt, just a tiny bit. Mostly anger.

"The fuck Y/N?"

"Look I'm sorry about All this delay cause of Me but these comments are unnecessary".

You scoffed and looked ahead instead.

"You should be sorry."

He was still looking at you in utter astonishment and not the road,

That's when you saw a person crossing the road, you screamed " KATSUKI! WATCH THE ROAD!"

Thanks to Katsuki's good reflex he saw and hit the breaks in time.

" I swear to fucking god katsuki! Drive properly!"

" I do drive properly.., it's because of your cribbing this happened." He grumbled under his breath

You heard him, but kept quiet to soothe your own ego.

Katsuki sucked in air through his gritted teeth in annoyance and continued driving in egotistical silence from the both of you.

When you guys reached home, you opened your heels at the door and strutted towards the bedroom to change into your night wear (which consisted of one of katsukis old t-shirts and your little high waisted shorts)

Katsuki grunted as he saw you walking away from him giving him the cold shoulder.

He took off his shoes and went straight to the kitchen rather then changing his clothes. He groaned as he saw the clock while opening the fridge to take out ingredients to make a simple ramen bowl for the two of you.

He was done making the Ramen before you came back. He took two bowls out and served the Ramen in them, garnished it with coriander leaves and sesame seeds with cut up boiled eggs on top.

Soon you walked out of the bedroom towards the living room, you sat on the couch. You could smell delicious food in the kitchen.

But of course you didn't dare get up and have food, that would mean that your submitting to katsuki and that you were wrong.

And obviously you weren't wrong at all! You can never be wrong!.

Katsuki knew you were in the living room,

He heard those changing audios on your phone probably from tiktoks.

He picked up his bowl, leaving yours in the microwave so that it doesn't get cold.

He walked into the living room and sat on the other couch seat parallel to the couch itself, propped his feet up on the center table, turned the T.V on for some national documentary, and slurped on his Ramen. Trying his best to tease you by showing how much he enjoyed his food.

You saw katsuki eating his dinner as If you weren't even there. Where the fuck is my Ramen!?!?! You thought.

You saw him watching the TV, so you increased the volume of your phone so that it would overlap his hearing of the TV.

----

Katsuki realised what you were doing and increased the volume of the TV,

Now he knew you couldn't beat that with your silly phone in the background. He was in anger from your previous behaviour and actions.

Oh now you were really really pissed

But you knew you couldn't do anything, so you kept quiet.

Glancing at katsuki eating from now and then.

That's when your tummy grumbled, indicating your hungry. And will die of starvation at one point.

----

See, now katsuki was mad and stubborn as fuck, but not Heartless, especially not to you.

He heard your stomach begging for food,

So he got up, put his bowl in the sink and got yours to the living room for you to eat.

He kept the bowl on the table without a word and just grunted before going back to his seat to watch whatever it was he was watching.

"I'm not hungry" You said, not looking up from your phone

"Hah?" "Eat." Katsuki replied turning around to look at you

"I'm. not. hungry." You repreated

"The fuck Y/N, your just cranky from not having any food, clearly you need to eat." Katsuki replied trying to keep his cool

"I don't want your food." You said,

"Oh so it's on me now? That it's food i made so you won't eat?"...." yknow what leave it." Katsuki replied.

You scoffed "what a joke." You mumbled to yourself, still enough for him to hear though.

"Alright. Enough of this shit, what's the fucking issue Y/N?." katsuki spoke

"The issue? The issue Is that no one cares about my occupation here!"

"I always make time for you but you can never seem to do the same for me!" You replied.

"Well I'm sorry my job requires me to give it my time, It's not like I'm out there SAVING LIVES!"

katsuki exclaimed. Now katsuki valued your work alot, it meant the whole world for you and he appreciated every bit of it. Just that today, both of you were on your toes. Up for fighting, there was rage surging through him and he doesn't know why, just that he needs to steam it off. And without a thought, that's what he's doing.

"SO MY JOB MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!?" "IS THAT WHAT YOUR TRYING TO SAY!?"

you got up from your position on the couch and bit back at katsuki, raising your voice higher by each line.

"MAYBE I AM! WHO KNOWS!? I PAY THE BILLS HERE, I MAKE YOU FOOD, I DRIVE YOU AROUND! AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN!? NOT A THANKS, BUT A BRATTY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND WHOS GOOD FOR NOTHING BUT MAKING THINGS COMPLICATED! "

Katsuki screamed back.

"RIGHT! WELL IM SO FUCKING SORRY TO HAVE EVER RELIED ON YOU KATSUKI, AND IM ALSO SORRY TO HAVE MADE YOUR LIFE SO FUCKING COMPLICATED. I CAN FEED MYSELF, OKAY?! YOU DONT NEED TO STRESS ABOUT WHATEVER THE FUCK I DO!"

you spoke, well screamed while turning around in anger and stomping to the kitchen to make instant noodles and grabbed a pack of chips with a soda can. You were banging the cabinets whenever you opened or closed them to take food. "YEAH GO HAVE THAT FUCKING TOXIC FOOD, YOU CANT EVEN FUCKING COOK FOR THE LIFE OF YOU Y/N. AND YOU HAVE BEEN PRANCING AROUND BLAMING ME?! YOU ARE SO FUCKING UNGRATEFUL! CAN YOU EVER DO ANYTHING PROPERLY!?"

Katsuki Came over to you and snatched the bag of chips and soda can from your hands.

You scoffed in offense and looked at katsuki in amusement, "Y'know what katsuki? You're sleeping on the fucking couch tonight. And don't you dare think about bothering me." You said in a cold tone as you threatened him and got close to him while pointing a finger at his chest.

you spinned on your heel and bee lined for the bedroom, you threw a pillow and a blanket from the bedroom door onto the couch and banged the door close.

Katsuki just stared at the closed door of the bedroom, he sighed in defeat as he began to clean the house a bit. He put away the junk you took out and washed his dirty bowl in the sink.

When he returned to the living room, He saw that the bowl of Ramen was gone, a small smile displayed on his features as he figured you took the bowl with you. He turned off the TV and the kitchen lights, he took the blanket and pillow and layed on the couch trying to sleep.

He was still bummed about the fight. He replayed every single thing he said and realised he didn't even mean more than half of the shit he did say to you... The guilt was eating him alive... for all he knows you might be in a worse situation with yourself right now. He knew your deal with overthinking, you've always had it. The knack to always make things seem for the worse... but it also prepared you for it. Ugh this overthinking was actually killing him. He isn't used to feeling nervous. But then you make him feel everything he never thought he would. He covered his face with his pillow and groaned in agony, full of annoyance and anger on himself.

A few minutes passed and he got impatient, he took his blanket and pillow and sat infront the bedroom door. Waiting for morning to come early so that he could see you and apologise to you.

You sat in the dark room, the only light helping you to see was the moon shining from in between the blinds. You opened the blinds. You sat on the floor, your back resting on the side of the bed as you faced the wall which was a window itself and ate your Ramen in silence. You were thinking of how you could sleep without katsuki by your side.. no matter how mad you are at him, you will always love him twice as much. As you finished your food You looked out the window, it was a crescent moon in the midnight sky it made you remember all those nights you and katsuki used to sneak out of your school's dormitories and meet at the roof of the building in front the local central park. A tear slid down your right cheek... you didn't mean to end the night on bad terms with katsuki... it made you feel so fucking awful.. you sat there as more tears started pouring out of your eyes and soon you were full on crying... trying to keep your sobs in. You figured you weren't gonna get any sleep without katsuki so you wrapped yourself in a blanket, got up while crying, went out of your bedroom just to see katsuki in the doorway with his eyes drooping. He was going in and out of consciousness. You saw him and slowly whispered trying not to cry while you spoke " katsuki? Are you asleep?.. I'm sorry.." your voice cracked " I can't sleep without you... sorry, " You said as more tears flowed from your now swollen eyes.

Katsuki heard you, he wasn't asleep, he couldn't sleep, not without you he can't. He grunted, and opened his arms for you to come to him, you immediately jumped into his arms and cuddled into his chest as you sobbed apologies into his now wet t-shirt. Katsuki palmed your head and rubbed your back to help you let it all out as he too whispered sweet nothings and Apologies into your hair. " I know sweets, I know you didn't meant it. And I'm sorry too I didn't mean any of that fucking shit I just said. I love you so fucking much princess you could never be a bother to me.." katsuki whispered into your ear and kissed you forehead tenderly. As he soothed you, you had fallen asleep in his arms, still sobbing a bit in your sleep. He carried you in his arms as he wrapped you in your blanket like a baby and took you to the bedroom. He layed you down on your side of the bed and went to his. He saw the empty bowl of Ramen which made him sigh in relief, now he knows you ate and didn't starve yourself. He got into the bed beside you as he got covers over the two of you. He cuddled you the rest of the night, giving you small kisses now and then whenever he woke up for a bit. You both finally slept peacefully, in each other's loving embrace.

Okay I'm totally stealing Mary's idea of answering as two MCs (one in bold, one in italics) and having them banter back and forth (go see their original post, it's so cute) because it looks like so much fun!

I'll answer as Jamie Prowse and River Gray from my latest WIP:

1. Are you named after anyone?

Yeah, my Grandpa on my Dad's side! He was so chill. Took me to my first Seahawks game. I'm not much of a 'James,' though. Jamie is fine.

Couldn't tell you. My mother never told me, and I don't care enough to ask her.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Like, yesterday, probably? I saw a really cute dog.

The night I moved in with my brother. And Jamie, by proxy. It was a momentary lapse in control that won't happen again, trust me.

3. Do you have kids?

No, but I think I'd like to have them someday.

I'm sorry, what?

Uhh--maybe we should table this conversation, yeah?

No, no. We're having it right now.

Omg look over there, what's that? *points, runs away*

4. Do you use sarcasm?

I never used to, but I've been doing it a lot more since River moved in. I think it's contagious.

Fortunately for me, stupidity isn't contagious.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Eyes, easy. They tell you a lot. And, uhh, I have this weird superpower where I can gauge a person's mental state pretty much instantly. Like, if they're okay or not.

He's not kidding. It's creepy. For me it's whether or not the person is a threat.

*scoffs* How often are people actually threats, though?

More often than you'd think.

6. What's your eye color?

Hazel, like my dad's! They remind me of the woods back home. I like them, they're one of my best features!

Blue.

He's being modest. They're, this--like--rich, dark, midnight blue. They're gorgeous.

Jamie. *blushes*

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Ooh, I love scary movies!

Ugh. Do I have to...?

It's fine, Riv, there's nothing wrong with liking happy endings! It's cute!

Shut up. I just think... you watch a movie or read a book to escape, right? There's enough pain in the world as it is. Why willingly put yourself through more when you could choose joy instead?

8. Any special talents?

He thinks the fact that I can speak French is a talent. I don't really see it that way, though. I don't know... photography is a talent. I'm good at that.

And writing! He's a great writer, especially poems. My talent is bass. Oh, and cooking! Those are pretty much the only things I'm really great at.

*Frowns* Not the only things.

You're so mean. Wait, is making people laugh a talent? That counts, right? I can make pretty much anyone laugh if I really try.

9. Where were you born?

Seattle born and bred, baby!

Bordeaux, France. Didn't stay long after, though.

10. What are your hobbies?

Playing bass. Songwriting. Jamming with the roomies. Can it still be a hobby if it's also your career?

I hope so, because I was going to say photography. I also enjoy hiking and poetry--reading and writing.

And journaling. *smirks*

11. Have you any pets?

Not yet, but someday we're getting a dog. Right, Riv?

Seriously? You know I'm a cat person. Having a dog is one step below having an actual child, you realize that, right? You can't even keep a fish alive.

I played football for like five minutes in high school, but it was interfering with band stuff. Does watching football count?

I suppose I have mine, too. Shooting photos of my brother and Jamie playing music with their best friends for a living. Not the direction I expected my life to take, but I'll take it.

ive deleted a fuckton and pretty much started my account over in july lol but right now there are 20 things on there

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

101,151. Since mid-July. omg wtf.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

SO MANY in the past, but my ao3 right now just has for atla and theres one les mis oneshot thats YEARS old that i cant bring myself to delete lol

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

not in a long long long time but i'm interested! other zukka writers hmu (though I'm pretty picky about who I write with. It's not personal, just a style thing)

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

My all-time favorite ship to WRITE is probably Zukka. It's really fun and comes real naturally to me

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Probably my Divorced Zukka The Last Five Years AU. I couldn't get it off to that strong of a start, the reception wasn't great, and there's a lot of boring stuff I'd have to get through before I got to the Good Stuff, so that motivation is just dead.

16. What are your writing strengths?

tbh just Being In Character. That's what I get the most compliments on. also grammar and spelling, that kind of thing.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I skip over description and setting scenes as much as I possibly can, and it's not necessarily that I Can't as much as I Don't Care To... I get away with it because it's fanfiction but I'd like to... start trying a bit harder at it

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

I guess if I had reason to? If it fit with the flow/plot of the fic, there was good reason to do it, and it was in one of the only two other languages I speak... I don't see there being a reason for that in this fandom though lol

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Star Wars, about 15 years ago lol

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

all of my children have a special place in my heart. I love Zuko Amongst the Dragons and One Last Time. Also bad idea right? was just super fun and is a bit underrated if u ask me lol

1. Are you named after anyone? No. My mom hated her own name so she didn't want to pass it to me, her mom had the same name and the other grandma also didn't have a name she liked. I have two fun stories related to my naming though: a) If my surname didn't begin with Ra, I would have been Laura. But my mom didn't want me to sound like I stuttered when introducing myself so she chose Aneta instead. Thank you, mom. b) My dad was a historian. They had an agreement that if I was a boy, he'd name me - he then mentioned four horribly archaic and ridiculous names (on top of that, my surname is Germanized, so imagine something like Dirschmiedová) - my father said I'd be either Soběbor, Radegast, Vintíř or Jiljí. None of these are modern. Or normal. When my mom heard them, she made up her mind that I'd be a girl. Pretty sure she willed me to be born a girl. Once again, thanks mom. (also dad claimed to his dying day he was joking, but we remain to be convinced).

2. When was the last time you cried? I don't cry much. I'm pretty sure my antidepressants block some of it, but I can usually only cry during movies when I'm on my own. In real life situations, I just push it down because I always had to be the responsible one who couldn't break down. I don't remember exactly when I cried the last time, but the movie that always makes me shed some tears is Coco.

3. Do you have kids? No. 4 cats are enough for now. Maybe one day when I'm in a different place. But as of now, I don't think I would be a good parent.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes. Because some people deserve nothing less. Or situations. Or things. Hell, sarcasm is good for everyone.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people? Usually? Their voice. I'm not great with remembering of names or facial features (although I often notice hair), but voices and (yeah, I'm one of those people) culture of speech.

6. What's your eye color? Ahem. Blue-grey-green something? It changes with my makeup.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Preferably scary movies with happy endings. It's difficult to choose - I dislike forced happy endings, unrealistic ones. As for scary movies, I dislike gore and jumpscares, but I'm very fond of creepy stuff, thrillers, even some older slashers (Halloween, my beloved). One of my ideal movies to illustrate this blend is the Corpse Bride - a happy ending in a way, but still bittersweet. Or even Coco I mentioned above.

8. Any special talents? I have three that come to mind. I think I'm pretty good at presenting stuff. I teach in my free time and I think I'm able to organize things well enough for people to understand what I'm trying to tell them. The second one is not a real talent, but my mom made sure I'd have great pronunciation - she'd always criticize me for mumbling and while I wasn't happy about it as a kid, I'm told I sound really good when speaking. So I'm kind of proud of that. The third thing is kind of funny - I like singing. I used to compete in smaller convention karaoke competitions and me and my friend would always go against each other - her range is much better and voice stronger, but nerves always take away from that. Me - I was always nervous as hell but it made my performances a bit more heartfelt, so I won quite a few times. My friend still teases me about it.

9. Where were you born? In a hospital in a different town because my parents knew the doctor there. So people always ask "oh, you're from X?" and I tell them "yup, I spent whole 2 days of my life there!"

10. What are your hobbies? Uuuugh. So so so many. I'm one of those people that can never pick just one. The ones you probably know already is - I write, draw and read a lot. I sing, used to play flute and guitar, want to pick that up again (also ukulele, I got one from my boyfriend). I'm (very slowly) learning Spanish. I also used to do some voice acting for tiny fan projects, I play a lot of computer/PS games, board and card games too (Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! when I have someone to play with). I also read tarot cards. Pretty sure I forgot something.

11. Do you have any pets? Yes! For cats. I have a ginger elderly gentleman named Trevor, a moldy-looking gentle princess Moira (she is the gentlest thing in the world but has the loudest MROWRRRR), a noodly-looking gymnastic/athletic kitty Asura and the weirdest cat/dog blend I've ever seen - Šmudla.

12. What sports do you play/have you played? Well, these days I'm not too active, office job and all, even though I intend to take up swimming from March or April. From the stuff I used to do as a kid - volleyball, basketball (before we all realized I'd stay short) and (while not a sport, it sure felt like it) solo rock-and-roll dance. During my previous employment, I did Zumba, step-aerobic and Capoeira for a few months.

13. How tall are you? 165 cm. 5'4 says Google.

14. Favorite subject in school? Art, music, literature too. At uni, my absolute favorites were phonetics, phonology and spoken variants of English.

15. Dream job? I love acting and singing, so a musical singer sounds like a dream. A stand-up comedian because I love making people laugh. From the more realistic ones, I loved teaching English, but the job security sucked and the pay too, so I kept that as a hobby.

I think I can say with utter honesty that Loki was the first (of many) antihero(es) I fell in love with. The complexity of this man (God, sorry darling), his backstory, the tragedy of it, while remaining true to himself and to those he deems worthy of his trust and love... It's all...*chef's kiss*. And YES, I'm talking about MCU Loki because I love him most, but I also adore Comic!Loki and NorseMythology!Loki. ;)

2. Nymphadora Tonks (Wizarding World)

I could have chosen her husband (MY husband) Remus because I LOOOOOOOVE him with all my heart, but I chose Tonks instead. You've got to understand. When the fifth book came out, I was a teenager, I was awkward, different. I dyed my hair, I was clumsy, too clever for my own good, and I was a bit of a loner. All that made me feel miserable, because why couldn't I just be like everyone else? Then, in came Tonks. Who was clumsy, different, with bubblegum-coloured hair, loyal to a fault. And who was an AUROR. A BADASS WITCH. And suddenly, it became okay to be all those things. And fuck being like everyone else. <3

3. Derek Hale (Teen Wolf)

I never watched the show. Ever. But reading extensively about Derek's character and backstory made it impossible not to love him whole-heartedly. That Sourwolf deserves the WORLD. <3

4. Eowyn of Rohan (Lord of the Rings)

I fell head over heels for her in the movies first, then when I read her for the first time, it was game over. Tolkien may have been parcimonious with his women characters, but Eowyn entirely surpasses any other male character in my opinion (sorry Aragorn, Faramir and Pippin, you know I love you too). She's far from the damsel in distress people would make her to be, and she's badass without being less feminine for it. <3

5. Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw (Top Gun)

Do I have to explain myself, when I've got a goose tattoed on my arm in his honour? My Polaroid-taking piano-playing moustache-wearing love. <3

6. Katsumoto Moritso (The Last Samurai)

Have I mentioned how much I love that movie, yet? :P Alright, it's my favourite movie ever: whenever I need a good cry, I just watch Katsu do his thing and I'm done for the count. Ken Watanabe giving him life after battling leukemia is even more touching, don't mind me, I'm tearing up over here.

Before the show took everything by storm, my Wednesday spent her days looking like a psychopath and trying to kill her brother while finding out if her uncle was her uncle or not. And when I was a little girl, all I wanted, was to be like Wednesday. XD

9. The Doctor (Doctor Who)

I may be repeating myself, but I properly learnt English while watching DW. I stumbled upon Blink one night (Weeping Angels, still the creepiest villains EVER) and got hooked, even though at the time I didn't understand half of what was being said. Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant taught me English, Matt Smith made me fall more and more in love with the show, and Peter Capaldi became MY Doctor (I love grumpy assholes, as seen above). Then, Jodie became the first female Doctor, and she wasn't weaker, she wasn't more mellow, she was the same ruthless, awkward, loving but questionable alien I'd gotten to love. AND THANK CHIBNALL FOR THAT!

10. Benji Dunn (Mission: Impossible)

I couldn't not talk about MY spy movies. The ones that are so much better than any James Bond ever made, the ones that keep me on the edge of my seat and make me fall harder and harder for its characters every instalment. And Benji is by far my favourite (Simon Pegg isn't stranger to this), and if ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HIM IN MI7 TOM CRUISE GETS IT!!!

I just can't believe that there are people who still believe every single word a public figure/celebrity says, most of the time they LIE. Did C lie about some fans harassing his bf? I have no clue, but if someone was indeed harassing him, that is just not correct. There are crazy fans in every fandom. If people still believe every post or tweet is posted personally by the celebrity, they are just naive and gullible. I don't believe in CC, but that's just my opinion. I do believe D is closeted and just because he posts something or says something nice about someone doesn't mean he actually thinks that, it is most likely PR, just like the unnecessary refurbishment of RR's house. People should wake up and not believe everything they see on the internet. Side note: I couldn't even get mad at yesterday's show because everything is just so ridiculous and bad-acted that it's funny.

At this point, if you aren't side-eyeing basically everything that comes out of Hollywood, you are just willfully ignorant. Its all calculated to a specific end and they don't think twice about contradicting their past selves if it serves a current narrative. Case in point: C saying towards the end of glee that he had no idea who D was when he joined the show when there's a whole interview of him talking about seeing D in AVPM way back when. Like season 2 back when. That's just a blatantly obvious, easily disproved and stupid lie. With regards to this podcast mess - I haven't listened to it and I wasn't on tumblr for most of glee's run so I wasn't really privy to a lot of the goings on that happened bts. Can I believe that there were people who crossed the line of fandom and behaved like assholes? Yes, definitely because it still happens. That kind of behavior is not exclusive to the glee fandom. You will find people like that everywhere. Whether or not they did exactly what he said they did - only he knows that for sure. Its a weird thing to bring up now 6 years after the show has ended as it effectively (and unfairly) paints a bullseye on a specific group. I'm not sure what he was hoping to achieve with this. The CC people that I've interacted with here are lovely and would never in a million years even think of things that horrible. Keep your thoughts and opinions to your own little blog and you don't tag the person in your post - its as simple as that. Who are these nobodies who have that much power that they think they can get a complete stranger fired? If they did indeed behave this way, then that is appalling, completely batshit crazy, and unacceptable - they need professional help. Its not funny, its scary. There's no need for that ever. At the end of the day, its his life and what he does with it and who he spends it with is his business. There's a pretty simple solution if you don't like the person anymore or don't like what they are doing: you can simply stop following them. You don't need to engage in some sort of bizarre smear campaign that has real world implications. Remember all those toxic twitter teens who were ready to draw and quarter D a few months back over that nearly 10 year old pic of him or a comment just as old? The awful things they said about him, the nonstop tagging of him and the flooding of every one of his SM posts with their bullshit? The "you're dead to me if you choose to remain a fan of his" ultimatums? I do! That's the kind of stuff that drives celebs away from SM and ruins it for the rest of us that know how to behave. You're creating an issue where there wasn't one and that's sort of what C did here with his comments.

From my point of view, the issue with C and D's SOs isn't so much that they are with other people, but more to the kind of people they seem to be. I don't know much frankly about W. He's not shoved in my face 24 hours a day and a hovering annoying presence at everything C does. You'll find more pics of C solo or with AF than you will with W. That's why he bothers me less and why D takes more criticism on this. But from what I've heard about him, he's said and posted some pretty awful things in the past and if people choose to not like him because of that, that seems valid to me. As fans, we can only judge celebs by what they say and do and our perception of them - its all we have. My dislike of M is not because she's with D and I'm a super jealous old spinster. And its not because I'm a self hating misogynist. Its because of the way she clings to D and his career while doing nothing on her own, the way she uses him for her own selfish purposes, and the hypocritical way she claimed to not to want to be in the public eye but yet shadows D at every event he goes to because it means cameras and photos and recognition as his wife. That tacky awful commercialized wedding was the last straw for me because I haven't been able to hold my tongue since. And if you follow someone long enough, you can get a pretty good idea of when they're being genuine and when they're bullshitting you or in D's case, when its him posting something and when its a member of his team. For example: where he supposedly proposed. By lying about it - either then or now - you've created a mess that didn't previously exist. Its a fairly simple straightforward statement that most people get right the first time: where they asked their SO to marry them. D says Japan, RR says D called him saying he wanted to do it when he was outside a bathroom in Miami. So the answer is either a) D b) RR c) none of the above. I'm going to go with c, thanks. Unless RR is going to come back and say that D decided to ask her in Miami but then waited until they were physically in Japan to do the asking, I'm going to go with neither of you are right and the reason D blew off the question every time he was asked about it by saying he didn't want to bore us is that you hadn't come up with a good enough and believable story yet. Much like the engagement ring that hadn't been locked down until RR could find a designer willing to make a ring with a diamond big enough to soothe her ego and give off the pretense of being legit. He probably put more effort into that than anything in D's career in the last 5 years. Do I think that RR did help D at one point when he was starting out with gigs, jobs, things like that? Sure. No problem. And maybe they were friends and liked to hang out and jam together. But do I also think that D has outgrown him personally and professionally at this point? Hell fucking yes. He needs a grown up to take his career to the next level and RR is not that person. He completely failed to capitalize on all the awards and well deserved hype D got from ACS and for that alone, he should have been fired. He needs someone who wants to do the work because they understand the rare find they have in D and that their job is to promote him, not themselves. The IOU ep was nothing but a self serving hour of D trying to make RR look and sound like he's not a complete waste of space on top of getting a cut of his fee as his manager. If you look at D's page on the very sad H/yphenate website, you will see the 3 biggest roles D's had are not listed. No Blaine. No Hedwig. No ACS. But oddly enough, a mention of his record deal with Columbia, which I thought went kaput ages ago and his hosting of the Teen Choice Awards in 2013. You know - the big times. Why? I'm going to assume its because he got those roles without RR's help so he doesn't want them there and what does that tell you? It should tell you everything. This is why your manager should be your manager and your friends should be your friends. Its like a parent who wants to be their

child's friend instead of the authority figure they need.

Too much of D's SM has the look and feel of pr and useless ads and just flat out nonsense and that falls squarely under RR's domain. He's a 34 year old man with an established career, not a 21 year old newbie just starting out but his SM doesn't reflect that in any way, shape, or form. The sooner D can cut his losses and break free, the better off his career will be, the more adult he will sound, and the happier I will be.

Me doing a graphic design project:

Use photos of favourite actors as a template instead of photos of the actual speakers/guests, so every time I see the photos, I got excited and can misattribute the excitement to the work.

I can't be the only one doing this right? Anyone who else here doing this?

So how's the design process?

It goes something like this:

Design brief:

"We want a professional, eye-catching poster for an international event, the previous designers couldn't make it eye catching"

Eye catching? Alright... Let's make something biiiiggg to catch the eye.

"No no no, it's too big, we don't want too many ornaments, we want the texts to be the main focus"

(I can write it as speakers and affiliation, but why would I, it's just a template only I would use)

"We want the pictures of the speakers to be bigger we want them to also be the focus"

Wait now we can't put the texts.

"Oh, btw we want it to be cheerful"

So you want a cheerful, eye-catching, professional design with minimum ornaments and mostly just consist of texts...

"Yeah, but why would I put the real pictures when I can run wild with my imagination instead? I don't wanna limit my creativity, I'll put the necessary last"

"AND WHY DOES IT SAID MARRIAGE ISSUES?"

"BECAUSE I SHIP WINTERBONES THAT'S THE TOPIC OF THE MODULE "

Winter: "Did you just cut my hair with the same hairstyle as yours?"

Brock: "Because it's the best fucking hairstyle, that's why."

Bucky: "Aliens, androids and wizards, they said, no one said anything about virus and zombies."

Bucky: "What do you mean find a helicopter? I've lived for a century and you're telling me that we still don't have a flying car?"

Brock: "The test came out positive."

James: "You're pregnant?"

Brock: "What?! No! I got the virus!

James: "How? We stayed at home, got vaccinated, following every health protocol–"

Brock: "You're asking how I could get infected, yet not wondering how could I get pregnant?"

James: "You are?"

Brock: "No!"

Brock: "Stay away from me! You'll catch the virus"

James: "I'm a super soldier, remember? I got better immune system"

Brock: "You might still..."

James: "Too late for that, I'm here"

James: "You need to eat"

Brock: "I'm not your small little buddy Steve, you don't need to babying me"

James: "No, but you're still my shorty little baby brock"

Brock: "Shit, did the virus takes your cooking skill too?"

James: "No, it takes your sense of taste and smell"

Brock: "The boredom is fucking killing me. I need to get out!"

James: "It's not too bad. Better than being frozen in a cryo."

James: "Did you know that as you're isolated and get more and more deprived of the world, your dreams and imagination got more and more bizarre?"

Brock: "And so does your nightmares."

James: "And daydreams. I'm a walking nightmare, and you're the daydream that makes it bearable."

Brock: "I think I am the nightmare."

James: "Do you know that in our late years, as we're forgetting bit by bit memories of our lives, the later memories gone first until what remains is the early memories of our lives."

Brock: "Isn't that good? That means one day you get to live your early life as if none of those dark times ever happened as if they're just a long forgotten nightmare."

James: "But that also mean I will forget you first before I remember who I used to be, and I don't wanna forget you."

Brock: "I'll make you remember, or I'll make you fall in love with me again and we'll make new memories."

James: "I am the Winter Soldier. Yes, it comes with a lot of bad things, but it also comes with you. This is who I am. I can't undone what I've been through or what I did, and I don't wanna undone us. It wasn't the best life, but you're part of that life. You're a part of who I am."

Brock: "That I'll live one every moment with you, and make sure each one get ingrained in your brain."

Top 5 Hobbies During the COVID-19 Pandemic

It has been almost two years now since the COVID-19 started. It has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide, has affected millions of people losing their jobs, homes, and loved ones. The governments were not ready to face the economic and existential threats; medical workers risked their lives trying to save countless patients every day. The military and police personnel went sleepless in the streets to keep the community disciplined. It has been two years of trying to survive to this pandemic that we did not know would change our whole lives.

The topic I have chosen After surviving this pandemic myself, I couldn't be more grateful to the Lord for preserving and protecting me. I may say that these could be one of the worst years of my life, but it has taught me a lot of things. Including being resourceful of my time, and learning how to cope up with a pandemic through existing and building new hobbies. I chose the topic, "Top 5 Hobbies During the COVID-19 Pandemic" because I want to know how other people are doing during this pandemic, as well as help other people on how to keep themselves sane in this new normal life. I have created a survey that consists of 34 respondents ages 16 and above, and below are the interesting results I have found from their responses. Top 5 Hobbies and Description of Each 1. Movies / Netflix & Chill Yep, this has gotten to the top spot of all hobbies. Ever since the cinemas closed due to the pandemic, this became the new tradition of the people worldwide. We can't help it, laying in the bed, and watching movies is one of the most chill things to do. I personally could spend half of the day doing Netflix and chill when I've got nothing else to do.

2. Listening to Music Another new normal thing we do is working from home and taking online classes. We tend to be bored with this new routine of rising up in bed, moving to the work desk, and going back to bed. One thing that could kill the boredom is listening to music. Simply listening to music can be soothing for the soul, mind, and body. It's an all-around mood booster that many enjoy.

3. Playing Video Games

Video games exploded in popularity when COVID-19 started. This was already famous before, but now it's everywhere. A video game is a game played using a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, and other electronic gaming devices. Before the pandemic, I barely played video games because I am more inclined in spending time with my friends. But now, I am playing crypto games to earn and have fun. Video games are a phenomenal form of entertainment best for the ongoing pandemic.

4. Playing with Pets We all have been severely affected by the loss of our daily routines as we know them and the prospect of further deaths from COVID-19. Therefore it is not surprising that we play with our cats, dogs, and other animals. Pets give emotional support without prejudice, and interaction with animals helps decrease tension and anxiety in especially in situations of stress.

5. Cooking and Baking

Cooking and baking are increasingly done not just for sustenance but also for comfort and entertainment by people who are self-quarantined. Study shows that it has various advantages, such as reducing stress and mood control. Cooking passion has grown into a type of self-care, which we have needed terribly through years of isolation.

The process on how I conducted the mini-survey

After deciding on the topic I want to use for the survey, I went to the Google Forms site. I made three sections for the whole mini-survey. The first one was informed consent. There, I discussed the purpose of the survey, what will be done, their confidentiality, and their right to withdraw anytime. I have noted that only ages 16 and above are allowed to participate in the survey. I also wrote my details in case they have inquiries about the survey. In the consent form, they will be clicking an option that says, "Yes, I agree." It confirms that they have read and understood the information I have given to them and that they voluntarily agree to answer the survey. In the second section, I created a demographic form where the participants could provide their personal details for data collection. The first two things they will be providing are a complete name and email address. However, as noted in the first section, they are not required to fill it in but only if they feel comfortable doing so. Then the last two things they should provide are age and gender.

The last section was the most fun part which is all about their top 5 hobbies during the COVID-19 pandemic. I made four questions for them to answer. The first question is, "What are your top five hobbies to do during the Covid-19 pandemic?" I chose the checkboxes as a type for that question. I put 15 options for them to choose from, including others as something else they have in mind that is not in the choices. The choices are the following: movies/Netflix and chill, video games, art, music, exercise/workout, learning a language, reading, cooking/baking, learn a craft, cleaning, organizing, virtual bonding with friends and family, taking care of plants, playing with pet/s, and others.

The second question for the third section of the survey was, "How many hours do you partake in the hobbies you specified above?" Here, I made three options and it is in multiple-choice type as they could only choose one option. The options are 0-5 hours, 6-10 hours, 11-12 hours, and more than 12 hours. The third question I made was, "Do your hobbies help you cope up with the ongoing pandemic?" wherein they would choose in a multiple-choice form of "yes", "no", or "maybe". And for the last question, I wanted them to share with me their thoughts and feelings about their top 5 hobbies during the Covid-19 pandemic. I chose the form of a paragraph, instead of a short answer because I want them to feel free in sharing their insights no matter how long. This was what I gave, "Kindly add up your thoughts and feelings about your top 5 hobbies during the Covid-19 pandemic." And that was the end of my mini-survey.

Responses in the Mini-Survey

Now I am going to share with you the summary of my participants' responses. There was a total of 34 respondents, from ages 16-44. The age with the highest number of respondents is 21. 55.9% were females, while 44.1% were males. For the question of top five hobbies to do during the Covid-19 pandemic, I will be listing the answers from the highest count to the lowest: movies/Netflix and chill (85.3%), music (70.6%), video games (70.6%), playing with pet/s (52.9%), cooking/baking (44.1%), exercise/workout (38.2%), virtual bonding with friends and family (29.4%), organizing (26.5%), reading (26.5%), cleaning (23.5%), learning a language (11.8%), taking care of plants (5.9%), learning a craft (2.9%). The other options provided by my participants are writing (2.9%), tutorials (2.9%), learning map-making/geography and "dinosaur" anatomy/mechanics (2.9%), sleeping (2.9%), series, TikTok, dancing (2.9%).

Most of my participants spent 6-10 hours partaking in their hobbies, followed by 0-5 hours, then more than 12 hours, and lastly 6-10 hours. This shows that they are actually spending a lot of time doing their hobbies during the pandemic. 73.5% said that their hobbies helped them cope up with the ongoing pandemic, 23.5% said maybe, and 2.9% said that it didn't. Lastly, their thoughts and feelings about their hobbies during the pandemic were mostly positive.
