Flint Lockwood and Sam Sparks - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Basically i think George isn’t super into costumes so the idea has to be reasonably low-key if you want to convince him. this one was perfect bc it really only involved wrestling the boy into a lab coat and attacking his hair with some extra strength hold gel (win win bc you get to have your hands in his hair and he gets to have your hands in his hair 😌) but the effect was still very much there. meanwhile you’re stuck hot glueing pipe cleaners and pom-poms to an umbrella to make a spaghetti and meatballs twister reference prop so your costume isn’t just a blue cardigan lol. george is very nice about the ugly ass homemade prop that you end up throwing in a skip after three drinks :3

Karl:

Ashitaka and San - Princess Mononoke

Karl would basically be down for any Ghibli duo but this is the one i can see him pulling off (as much as i would die to see him in a howl pendragon wig). You guys would put together the costumes yourself (couples crafts 😍) and they come out so cuuuute. I don’t normally include photos but these are the exact vibes i’m envisioning:

Cosmo and Wanda - Fairly OddParents

Iconic and easy to pull off with some simple colour coding. you get those spray cans of non-permanent hair dye from like claire’s and get it all over your dang hands help each other apply it. you also paint each other’s nails and you make little gold crowns and wands with stars on the end. actually adorable vibes by the time you’re done. highly instagrammable and you keep a polaroid of the two of you in costume in your phone case 🥺

also i think he’d wanna go as sword art online characters maybe? but i haven’t played it so

Quackity:

Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera - Cars

ffsjfkdlfhb somehow he convinced you. i don’t know how. but now your face is smeared with blue face paint and Q has lightning bolts on his cheeks and the whole thing is so unbelievably cursed. it’s smudged before you even leave the house from the tears of laughter streaming down your faces, and you’re both just collapsed on the bathroom floor struggling to catch your breath and starting back up laughing every time you look at the other’s face

okay, so first of all, gojo satoru… I feel like when he was younger, he would buy a ton of really expensive shit purely because it was from a designer brand. like, it could be the ugliest fucking thing ever, but he would still buy it just because he could LMFAO 😭 he definitely had a ton of really ugly but expensive shoes… he looks like he would. he probably didn’t even wear them all 😔

I also wanted to talk about how gojo and getou are. they’re similar, meaning you don’t really have to put in a lot of effort to find out that they’re rich. gojo is the kind of guy who clearly flaunts his wealth in the most obnoxious way possible, but at the same time it’s not just the things he buys that makes him seem rich. You can see it in the way he carries himself. the best way I can explain it is like this; gojo is like a peacock. he likes to show off his feathers, but he’s already so naturally beautiful that people are already looking??? he just looks grand, if you know what I mean. he’s almost always got that air of confidence and superiority surrounding him that it can make you wanna BEAT HIS ASS UP 🤬🤬 but he’s also weirdly endearing :( he’s loud asf but we already know that LOL

AND when I said that getou is similar, I meant that he also just feels rich. he’s what you would expect someone from a high status family to be like tbh. he’s polite, respectful and is just all around elegant?? but he’s also kind of simple if you get what I mean. think of him as a swan — they’re plain, but everyone sees them as this really elegant and graceful creature. they also bite. hard. holy fuck. he’s a lot more subtle. even though he’s definitely intimidating and looks like a delinquent (😭), his actions show otherwise.

I just checked out some of Sherry Thomas’ titles and they look great! I'll start with her regency ones and maybe even give her spy novels a try (has she gender-bent Sherlock? if so it sounds pretty cool!). your sarah MacLean takes are really making me reconsider not liking stories that have more Drama bc I may have just be reading the wrong books lmao (my more dramatic reads are basically limited to quite a few of Kleypas’, the two I mentioned from MacLean and Loretta Chase's Lord of Scoundrels before I gave up. Oh and Mary Balogh who I actually liked but her books are for when you want a less steamy, more historically accurate story). I've heard some good critiques of Courtney Milan’s work, and I've definitely had her and Elizabeth Hoyt on my TBR. I've also had Peckham mentioned a lot as a rec for her sex scenes so I skimmed one of her books, it looked good but got kinda too pro BDSM in a sort of preachy way (though the sex scenes were good 👌) so yeah I definitely see the similarity between her and MacLean

I think none of Sherry Thomas books are regency tbh, they're Victorian (which doesn't change a lot of things except that they go on train quite a lot). She does have a gender bend Sherlock !! I absolutely love that series lmao, those are murder mysteries novel (you know. Sherlock. ) but there is a slow romance between Charlotte Holmes (aka Sherlock lmao) and a guy (I was disappointed at that for some reason I thought she was gonna be lesbian with gender bent Moriarty lmao).

Oh I like Mary Balogh. A lot of her books are really older and it kinda shows but overall great read. I am 100% sure I did read some Elizabeth Hoyt but NGL I don't remember much of it it was all very forgettable.

I am gonna be real with you and admit that I loved lord of scoundrels lmao. I reread recently and NGL this is some misogynistic hero we got there and I think I would have hard a time loving it as much if I had read it after becoming rad-leaning (the brothel scenes especially). But It is high key hilarious to me.

Firstly the male MC being "I am so ugly. A beast. It is impossible to love me, woe is my face and body etc etc" for the whole book and then you switch to the female MC pov and she is like "god he is sexy. I would eat him whole. I wanna fuck him sooooo bad" she is litteraly salivating while he is having self flagellation session it's just so so funny to me.

Secondly she shot him. I just think that's neat and more historical romance should have the heroine pointing a gun at the hero ESPECIALLY when he so fucking deserved it. ( I was absolutely heartbroken that the female MC wasn't the one who shot the male MC in that Julie Anne Long book, you know the one that starts with the guy bleeding everywhere).

Thirdly the male MC is acting like a female character in a 19th century novel like guy is swooning and then got litteraly sick with love lmao he is Extra (tm). Coupled with his Big Muscly Dark physique it is just hilarious lmao

I real all of Loretta Chase books and they are not terrible :/ she has like one (1) character type and it gets kinda old. Especially since that type involves the guy spending a lot of time having sex with prostitutes.

no seriously, he loved it. 

ever since he was little, year after year, mistletoe was associated with everything that made him the happiest - the holidays, winter, ugly sweaters, being snug with someone you love, his parents happy and in love, and the best kind of warmth to overwhelm all the cold

his earliest memory of his parents truly in love was when he held some mistletoe up to their knees and they kissed above him with smiles on their faces and teeth clashing.

it seemed to evolve as sort of a tradition. every year since ricky was 5 years old, he held up the mistletoe for his mom and dad while the entire house smelled of nutmeg while the cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies baked in the oven;

eventually his dad nagging him to do it once he hit double digits while he visibly (fake) gagged at how endearing his parents were for kissing under the mistletoe 

until this year, there was nothing that could ruin the innocence of a kiss under the mistletoe 

but here he was, winter break of junior year, with half a christmas tree up, his parent’s divorce finalised, his mom celebrating christmas with ted in chicago, his dad drunk on his days off work, and him eating microwaved thanksgiving turkey lunches (that are somehow still a thing) alone 

if he wasn’t so fucking angry at all the exhaustion and sadness he was feeling, he might’ve has the emotional availability to cry about it (hint: he didn’t)

so he just resorted to the monotony of waking up every day, doing his homework (yeah it surprised him too dw), facetiming nini, and gaming to keep himself as distracted as he could, actively avoiding the holidays all together

and obviously nini knew the extent to which this all sucked for ricky :( 

in addition to the guilt she was feeling leaving for denver in a few weeks, she hated the way ricky’s festive spirit was non-existent this year 

she remembered them every year growing up, ricky resembling a puppy getting ready for a walk in the park with each day they got closer to christmas

ricky, even before them dating, having 4 christmas movie marathons planned for every saturday of the month for them to watch on nini’s couch

(die hard of course being one of them because YES, it is a christmas movie, and no, he didn’t take criticism) 

her excitedly looking forward to cuddling with him underneath the only non-christmas coloured blanket he didn’t complain about nini keeping on the couch because he knew that it was her favourite blanket that they would inevitably end up cuddled under together

her moms obviously found them passed out on the couch snuggling, nini resting almost on top of ricky, them soundly sleeping with their stomachs full of hot cocoa and their hearts filled with love for each other (and yes the cheesiest and warmest christmas cheer)

god, they fucking loved each before they even knew what love was; if nini wasn’t already the hopelessly hopeless romantic she was, she could scream into a pillow about it

she was so thankful for ricky and the holidays, and ricky during the holidays. she always thought her favourite season was spring but seeing how much ricky loved winter, it was hard for it not to slowly become her’s too

so now as she sat facetiming him and he looked the saddest he’s ever looked, it was impossible for her not to scheme

after a few searches on pinterest and a re-watch of all the new girl christmas and thanksgiving episodes, she got her plan together

ricky was incredibly thankful for his friends. he didn’t even know what he would do without them, but it was hard not to feel the sting of nini foregoing the movies for a workshop that her denver school was hosting

and of course he tried not to be bitter about it, he was so incredibly happy for her, she was the most talented person he knew, but it also sucked that he would have to do the rest of high school without his girlfriend, the person he loved most in the entire world

‘dude, don’t even sweat it... we know it’s been a rough winter’

and again, if two months ago you were going to tell ricky that ej was more an acquaintance to him, let alone a friend, he’d think something was perpetually wrong with the universe

but here he was, even empathetic

they had eaten, watched an overplayed zombie movie at the theatre and spend some good time together. and even though he was incredibly grateful for the quality time he’d spent with his friends, his social battery was low and his tiredness unrelenting.

so within twenty minutes, he was back on his driveway, taking a deep breath before bracing the Utah snow

her soft giggles were only matched with tears pooling in ricky’s eyes. tears he was desperately trying to control from sliding down his cheeks. nothing had managed to lift this unnerving pressure he had pressed up on his chest till now. and now? now, he was elated. he felt like a fucking cloud. he was so relieved, and so so fucking thankful.

‘this-nini this? this is everything.’ and he meant it. the earnestness in his voice seemed to surprise nini, her eyes suddenly matching his glossy ones. 

‘i love you.’ was all he managed to say as he rested his forehead on hers after hugging her, breathing in more of the nutmeg candles she’d lit.

i yearn for one(1) thing only, and that is to have a nice, simplistic, cartoonish artstyle. an artstyle that doesnt rely on anatomy, but the "movement" of the drawing, if you get what i mean.

i dont want realistic proportions and traditional colors and basic poses and gradient shading, i want funky lil dudes in funky poses with funky styles littering my sketchbook :( but alas i havent figured out how to develop that kind of style yet, my brain wants anatomy to look nice but also i dont want to draw eyes. i dont want to take time out of my day to learn how to draw lips i want to draw a line that extends past the characters face. i dont want all my characters to have pointy chins with curved cheeks i want their heads to be round and friend-like or full of sharp edges depending on their personalities and styles. i want to give them all not-quite human ears, blob feet, simple faces, but at the same time i want enough detail to convey the story or emotion im trying to tell.

ive spent so much time recently agonizing over how to use 3d model websites, using real-life references and tracing over them for practice, color-picking from real images to try and do realism and failing miserably, but you know whats easier than that? funky little dudes. little dudes who do not care if their legs are too long or their hair is too bouncy. i dont want my characters to look human.

ive spent enough time on the artfight website to realize that most people who classify their characters as "human" have the most basic ass designs (no offense to people who like basic human designs its just not my thing) or its like dnd-medieval style outfits which i cant draw for the life of me (ive tried). again no offense to people who actively enjoy and draw characters like that. i just need my dudes to have that certain,,, off-ness to them. tails are cool. wings are swag (especially if they arent even like,, fully attached,, ), elf ears are so wonderful to me no matter how much theyre overused, horns are so much fun to draw, and colors!! i have no knowledge in the color theory department so this works great for me!! the only thing i really know is dont shade with black, other than that i just colorpick from references usually but i dont want to do that!! i want the colors to hurt people's eyes but in a satisfying way. like the character's design is so nice to look at that you dont mind your eyes hurting a bit. like how im enjoying writing this post even though its 2 am and the brightness on my computer wont go any lower.

and then another thing ive noticed from being on the artfight website is that a lot of people classify their characters that are anthro/have anthro features under humanoids/monsters. like i made a google form to find some people to attack and someone sent me in a character with some sort of animal (wolf? idk) arms and legs. like dude!! peak character design i love her. but me personally? i cant draw that shit, its so hard for me. i tried a while back and its just Not my thing. nothing against furries i just. cant. and i dont want to either.

and i got another submission that i accidentally deleted that was like full anthro/wolf-like like my comrade,,, i cannot draw animals what makes you think i can draw an animal who acts like a human lmao. i can do like. very basic tails, and also animal ears but i cant do the arms and legs and such i just dont know the anatomy, and i know i was talking about how i dont want to care about anatomy but i feel like for anthros you really do need to know at least basic animal anatomy so you know how the limbs look and shit and i dont have that knowledge and dont feel like gaining it.

and then there were some submissions that i absolutely adored. there was one that like, was vaguely human shaped but definitely was not a human. they had a dark-ish lavender colored skin and horns and tusks and like goat ears and a sorta fluffy tail with spikes on it and they had wings and such and they were such a pleasure to draw i love them. and they had a fairly simple outfit too, nothing too complicated. and then i also enjoy object head characters, theyre so neato to me. i got one of those and i really wish i had the motivation to work on it cause it looks so fun.

i want to make funky characters but id have nothing to do with them because the only book i ever tried writing (key word tried - never got past planning it out) had strictly human characters in it, and most of the books i read are humans/humans with powers in situations specific to them so id have no idea what lore to make with the dudes. assuming i have the motivation to make lore and backstory because honestly i just really enjoy character designing its super duper fun.

(side note a song about trucks doing the deed came on just now and its interrupted my flow, apologies).

i only have three actual characters right now. one is an original roleplay oc whos design is literally athletic shorts, an oversized long sleeved grey sweatshirt, long purple hair, and demon horns. the second one is my persona whos design some sorta medival knight outfit kinda thing? but not ugly it looks really cool (idk one of my friends designed it bc i won some contest from him but the drawing was on a super small scale so idrk the details,,,) with a plague doctor mask and crown, and shoulder length wavy brown hair, dyed bright pink at the end. and then my last one im not too comfortable using other places because theyre a character my friend is using in the story hes writing, and thats really the only place theyve been used. but theyre easily my favorite and im already writing a ton so ill talk about them too.

they're a sorta elf species thing from another planet, with pale green skin and pointed ears. they also have a tail, its like,, super thin, but with a feathery bit at the end. probably not the texture of a feather but i dont know how else to describe it. they have short, curly, almost-draco-malfoy-blonde hair that when it gets too long they can put in a man bun. their eyesight is kinda shitty so when they got to earth, they were exploring some supply closets around the airship. drop off area. thing. like airport but for rocketships and also fancier. yeah. they were exploring that area and found a nice big pair of round glasses with grey frames. and they also found a cowboy-style hat and a sharpie so they wrote their name on the underside of the brim of the hat and stole the hat and glasses (but left the sharpie in the supply closet).

yeah theyre my favorite, my absolute beloved, my child, so cool. i want more characters like them but with maybe a bit more snazzier designs. theyre super cool and all but they could have more pizzazz if they werent in a story where its too late to give them more pizzazz. i just want to be able to give my characters thigh-high boots with a bunch of buckles and fluffy hair with tons of accessories crammed in and abnormally large and long ears that can harbor many piercings and horns that can hold rings on them and special little details on their outfits like who knows what but i dont have any characters to do that too, so i have to make them from scratch, which is always hard especially when you have artblock.

and i also have like 17 characters i need to fully draw, line, and maybe color for artfight before august 1st. so i dont know. i have many things to do and plenty of time to do it but instead i spend my time halfway watching repetitive youtube videos that get boring or sleeping all damn day because i stay up too late doing things like this or i just do nothing at all and its tiring and frustrating but i also feel nothing about it like theres no consequence if i dont do it besides you know. not doing it, not gaining that experience, not making something i enjoy.

so i should do it but i dont for whatever reason, i think its called executive dysfunction but im not sure. this post started out very differently than it ended and i said somewhere up there that i was writing this at 2 am but now its almost 3. this is so many words why couldnt i have put this energy into something productive

yeah it is smoother in the dreamer but i feel like it works well with the songs? like oh fuck thinking about it made me tear up i have a problem KAJDNSNS but like i was gonna say i feel like the realist is (obviously) thematically darker than the dreamer so the abrupt cut into something lighter makes sense imo, like the way you don't remember when you fall asleep - you're thinking (if you're like me i think about oc storylines while i fall asleep) and then suddenly you're in your dreams (if you're like me i remember my dreams very often). meanwhile the dreamer would be more like, an attempt at convincing yourself things are good, and at the end the reality slowly creeps up on you while they keep saying "let's dream"... and i legit teared up while typing all of that help 😭😭 i'm just Passionate about music KAJSNSNSKS but this is ridiculous. but yeah that's how i feel about those songs without going too much into the lyrics and i feel like the way both transitions were done really fits each song!

HYOJIN'S VOICEEE YES HE'S SO FULL AND POWERFUL. i have a post out there where i described all four of their voices with flavours bc it's the easiest way for me to describe high voices and hyojin was a fruit like a peach or passionfruit iirc meanwhile etion was the taste of pistachios/almond milk i think? emkay is sweet like candy but not sour candy or something super gummy, more akin to cotton candy if anything (or those very industrial drinks) so even when he sings loud he sounds soft. something that also applies to taemin btw, he isn't sweet in that same way at all but even when he's loud he just doesn't sound as powerful as key or jinki, and that's the same thing with hyojin and other onf vocalists - he's the powerhouse! jayus... i might've compared his voice to something light like vanilla... i'll look for the post. but yeah if u like hyojin's voice i recommend checking out even of day's performance of you were beautiful guest starring hyojin he sounds beautiful (i link it bc i personally struggle to find it on youtube idk why??), and of course onf's everybody cover on rtk... it did Not please everyone but that's quite literally what got me into them. my favourite shinee title track? with hyojin's vocals? (we ignore wyatt) ofc i was gonna like it.....

14. ryusoulger - the helmets are extremely cute and they say “dinosaur knight” 100%. the asymmetry is charming too. I still don’t know why the symbol on their chests is the ryusoul symbol though

13. ninninger - the shuriken helmets fucking rule. even now I can’t decide how I feel about the women having thigh high boots but I like the black arms and the hint of black between the skirt and boots on the women. starninger having a helmet that’s a star and a cowboy hat is legendary also

12. dairanger - love dairanger. the top of the suit looking like a little jacket is so cute. I also love the dairanger logo with all five colors. this might be the first season chronologically where I feel like they really went off with the helmets

11. go-onger - the tires around the wrists and calves are truly inspired as is the seatbelt accessory. what I really love is the little stylized number representing their respective engine partner. the go-on wings fucking rule also

10. gokaiger - they didn’t have to make the gokai suits so good when they transform into other teams every episode but they did that for us

9. gekiranger - love the main three to death, especially the helmets. the kageki powerup is also perfect. violet and chopper I don’t love as much but they look pretty slick and definitely went all out with the martial arts theming so I appreciate them

8. dekaranger - the helmets are good esp how they light up. the stylized numbers on the chests are excellent. and this was our last series where the women don’t have skirts when transformed!

7. kyoryuger - love the helmets. they’re very stylized but still recognizable as dino heads. the little details that differ between characters like silver sashes on spirit rangers and sharp teeth only on carnivorous dinos are charming to me. there are so many dino heads on each kyoryu but they’re so stylized that you might not notice at first and I love that

6. go-busters - can we please have leather style suits again. they look so good helmetless as well as with the helmet on bc they’re almost clothes that people could wear. I can’t explain why but the colored gloves are a key element to me. beet and stag also look suitably different while still part of the team

5. boukenger - I love boukenger! the white stripe up the center of the body is so simple but it really makes them stand out. the helmets having built in headlamps which are actually used in the show is my favorite

4. kyuranger - the kyuranger suits are so good… the helmets are so fun and inventive. I love the subtle silver lines running along the body and the armored crop top. the unique details characters get depending on their species are good too except maybe garu’s fur. but they still look cohesive as a team

3. goseiger - highly cute. the look of belted high waisted pants/skirt really works for me. I love the helmets and how the animal motif is only visible from the side. my favorite is the emblems on the chest corresponding to each tribe which combine to form the goseiger logo

2. shinkenger - legends only!! the triangles along the sides imitating the line of a hakama are a subtle but essential element. the kanji helmets are also perfect. they’re so simple but they don’t need any extra decoration to work

1. lupinranger/patranger - they’re so cute! ever since the suits were first revealed I’ve loved the way the base suits for the lupins and patrens are just colorswapped versions of the same suit. the way the lupins have a bow tie on the chest is super cute and I like the patrens’ corresponding tie look too. the lupins’ helmets especially have personality to them while still clearly being top hats. lupinx and patrenx both rule also. noel hogging all the good suits

Honestly just me if I was more feral and fun. Tbh I first made him to work out trauma in a better way. Now he is just kinda a jokey fun character that I enjoy!

The lab coat is also not fully white and due to being stained so much

Speaking of the lab coat, the stains always change place except for the green handprint and the (unseen) blue handprints on his ass. 

The stitches on the lab coat are also where his limbs have been reached (and correspond to where our chronic pain originates in the arms)

Leg attachment points are at the knees, but the left leg has an additional one at the upper thigh (aka where my ass got shot and it still hurts)

His left leg is 0.25 inches shorter due to incorrect attachment of his own accord. Tends to walks weird due to it and can cause annoying pain

Covers up every inch of his body due to general paranoia and the fact it’s just easier to catch a falling limb that way 

Idk why I draw his eyes all swirly, but it’s just fun and I really like them that way. The left one is blind though.

I’ll think of something, but just a warning if my content is slower than when I had them,, My original plan was for him and Franklin to be adopted siblings, with ZB being killed used as a sacrifice to Ellumi, for the only goal to be resurrected for their father’s research. There was supposed to be a big reveal where he's totally decked out in Ellumi Eyes which is why he's completely covered up. I’m still keeping the Wattz name though I came up with it by myself. UPRISING.   ↳     if ymir had truly stayed in paradis,  i definitely feel like this would’ve been the start of her biggest developmental arc.   her death ended in the bittersweet story of a girl who was never able to find a balance in her vices & virtues,  letting herself succumb to a part of her she tried so hard to suppress.   with historia kidnapped, and the chance of going through even more with her cadet class,  i think she could’ve gotten something of a medium in widening the tunnel vision she had grown accustomed to.

as a now-revealed titan, she was definitely held under suspicion for a while.   she was thrust into squad levi to be trained alongside eren, but the guy did not trust her nearly as much as he did eren.   it took a while for her to be brought back into things and the only people who really stood by her side at first were eren & historia.

#1 “historia” corrector when people would still call her krista.

made it a point to coo tf outta her real name whenever she could.

her biggest clash with capt. levi was when he pushed historia to become queen.   while, sure, she respects* levi enough now, she still resents him & believes historia wouldn’t have said yes otherwise ( i.e. doesn’t want the role / she’s playing the path given to her )

* ymir shows her respect by being slightly nicer and all this really means is she’ll tease you and be crass instead of snarling & ignoring your mere existence.

RETURN TO SHIGANSHINA.  ↳     ymir would’ve obviously been required to join in the fight here, and was likely perched on eren’s titan the whole time & ready to be thrown wherever depending on where RB show up to spread their power.

I started a creating writing course and it's really motivated me to get my writing done so I completed an assignment as well as I have been vigorously stripping back my story idea and figuring out the main beats. fishy excuses

currently slamming my way through my second dirty shirley of the night in order to numb myself to the monotony of pain Ive become accustomed to. lmaoo that was pretty dark and very dramatic.  I am just so tired and have grown so impatient in this whole endeavor. like i feel like i try so dang hard and nothing ever works out?? And it has been so easy to regress back to maladaptive thought patterns that I’ve worked do hard to grow out of. Like it is so easy to feel undesirable and unlovable and honestly just ugly. In every way. But when the mature Arlo brain is finally able to gain control back from reptile brain Arlo, I am able to put everything into perspective and resign myself to the fact that sometimes shit doesn’t work out and also possibly that the universe may hate me?? And I realize that rationalizing the irrational is not the most helpful way to deal with these sorts of thoughts, but frankly, I go on a lot of dates. A lot of people message me on tinder. And a lot of times it is me, like I may have commitment issues?? But I also just think I have high standards, which ig it is what it is with that shit. Like i’ve only recently been able to really cut ties from my suuuper catholic upbringing and my very intense religious beliefs, but when shit like what happened this past week happens to me, it genuinely makes me reconsider the possible existence of a governing deity because literally how could one person’s luck be this bad?? like I must have pissed off somebody somewhere for sure. 

But anywhooo, this week I received a text from someone that ghosted me literally 3 whole weeks ago. The last text I sent them was me asking them out on a date. But if I’ll be honest, I had already ghosted them for about half a week at that point and I had honestly just texted them because I was bored and lonely lmaoo. Which I admit wasn’t very cool of me, buttt a bitch loves attention. But anyways, this person and I had connected via tinder about a month ago and basically had arranged a ~coochie consultation~ later that week. So I texted them the morning of to check in to see if they were still good for that night. They responded a few hours later and asked for a raincheck for a few hours later bc they had a lot of homework to do. On a Friday. So that was cool. But also, consent is key lmao, and I get that they were probably just intimidated bc we saw each other at the dining hall they day before and ngl, I just carry myself in such amore confident way than they do. And thats totally okay, I get it. Confidence is a journey, y’know? But at this point where I’ve made the decision to be hot shit and act like hot shit, so therefore, I am hot shit. And I know this makes me sound like an asshole, but I do think they were just intimidated and scared. But i am just soooo ughhhh. A bitch just wants someone to hold their face and maybe get a couple smooches?? Is that too much to ask for? A bithc is just trying to break into her hoe phase and past her ctaholic guilt and shame phase.  Okay so anywhooo, we didnt hookup and we sorta talked here an there for like a week and then I asked them out. Fast froward 3 weeks later to last night when I get a text at 12:45 in the fuckin morning that was like, “I am soooooo sorry I didnt mean to ghost you. But also, Im in relationship rn :0″. And that is what brought upon this questioning of the existence of god. Bc what would be a reason for one to send that text if not being possessed by a pissed off and vengeful power?? Like they were clearly just trying to tie up their loose ends and make themselves feel better. And also of course to flex on me. And they absolutely did. Bc no matter how hard I try, no matter how hot I look, nothing ever seems to work out. And i recognize that this semester is the first time I rlly have put myself out there with intention, but aghhhhh.

Sooo, zooming in on the last 24 hours: Whilst munchin on my tasty ass hawaiian za, I got a message from someone on tinder inviting me to ~cuddle ~ with them in their room the next night. Being the horny bitch I am, I of course agreed to it. And I was also honestly pretty excited bc I thought they were so cute and they seemed witty and funny, which I imagine would make for a good hookup?? Not that I would know unfortunately. Anyways, after sending me their address this morning, I got a message a couple hours later asking to post pone bc they weren’t feeling  very well. And I know that this was probably a genuine excuse because they initiated it all on their own, but I feel like there not being a reason for all this bad luck makes it that much more frustrating?? Like come hell or high water, no matter how hard I fuckin try, shit will somehow end up not happening. GARGHHHHH

And I am aware that this whole thing is very self-pitying and the epitome of wallowing, but it’s just like???? litcherally wtf is going on.
