New piercings 💎

I’ve been waiting so long to get these done and I finally found a nice place called Windflower. The piercer was absolutely amazing and really kept a calming environment for me because I was so nervous ! I’ve got the tattoos but for some reason I’ve always been scared to get any piercings other than my nose because of how people will look at me differently. Not sure why of all things it was an extra hole in my face that really threw me for a loop but taking the time to find a place and really be prepared for it was so worth it and I’m beyond stoked ! I love body modification and I’m happy to feel free enough to express myself in all the ways that make me happy (other than my tattoos.) Thanks for coming to my Ted talk .

I went and got my lip pierced. Feel absolutely ROBBED moneywise - i don't even wanna say how much I shelled out lol - but the lady was nice at least. Also I wanted like.. a slightly thicker gauge and the kind of ring that has a ball?? But they didn't have it🤷🤷🤷 Took me enough nerve to get my ass into the piercing chair, not gonna back out over minor shit like that. I'm sure once it heals, I can find said ring and get someone to put it in for me. If I continue to have a hair up my ass about it. Can you stretch lip piercings??? Uh.. anyway. Might not sound like it but I still like the way it looks

Remember how that one post was like "how would you feel if you were wheeled into emergency surgery and saw the surgeon covered in tattoos and facial piercings?? Bet you'd be pretty nervous!" or some gotcha shit like that.

Well I was just in the hospital for five days straight, speaking with a surgical consult every day in the event I needed part of my small intestine removed (thus far avoided), and not only did two surgeons have prominent tattoos showing from their scrubs (one of whom had full sleeve tats on both arms, running up to his neck), so did one of my gastroenterologist attendings, so did about half my constant stream of nurses (two of whom had eyebrow piercings), most of my techs, and two phlebotomists.

Miraculously, I was fine.
