flopsy is a white rabbit magician! he loves what he does quite a lot, really, in fact its something he's dreamed about since childhood. that dream has been realized, for better or worse.

he's got a lot of regrets, though. he really, really wants nothing more than to stay alive and maintain his freedom. He's a little bit stupid, but hey. hes a tree friend here. thats commonplace.

oh. its a problem is what it is.

buck is the demon that allows flopsy to use his REAL ACTUAL MAGIC to put on magic shows that are SUPPOSED to just be sleight of hand. the bolo tie flopsy wears is what now and forever connects them in unholy matrimony. burrowed deep into flopsys nervous system from the very first second he'd put it on, bucks prison became their connection. flopsy didnt know what he was getting into, of course, and neither of them had a choice in the matter. one of them is just much happier about it than the other. at least, at first. having buck around isnt all bad. not with what he promises flopsy.

theres only so much magic buck allows flopsy to use. this is of course, for his own safety. the more magic he uses, the more control buck needs.

or at least, thats what he tells him.

this almost always results in stage 2, but i like to use stage 3 when i want character interactions between buck and someone who isnt flopsy. which is rare. in fact i pretty much exclusively use this for non-canon character interaction.
