Went to a new doctor today. She's skinny. Of course she saw me and diagnosed me fat immediately. Mentioned cholesterol and diabetes and thyroid issues three times and ordered same day blood work. And on top of that she looked into my mouth and just decided to tell me that I should look into seeing a dentist. Like EXCUSE me??? You are not q dentist you have no right to shame me when my teeth are fine??? I don't understand why she felt the need to make me self conscious over something she has ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERTISE IN.
This is why I hate doctors but ESPECIALLY skinny doctors. They don't give two shits about you, they don't care how healthy you are they see weight that isn't stick figure, diagnose you with fat and won't hear any other problems you might have without telling you to lose weight first which is BULLSHIT and all the studies now are saying we have been thinking about weight wrong and the healthiness of your body is not weight-controlled.
Anyways I'm switching to a heavier doctor that my sister has whose nice and actually cares, but I spent an already anxiety-filled time at the doctor masking my fucking heart out and getting my blood drawn and having to on top of that come out feeling ugly and like I don't take care of myself.
To any of you who might be getting your doctor degrees or whatever, stop fucking treating fat people like we don't have feelings. Stop treating us like we are ugly horrible people. And for fucks sake mind your fucking business when it comes to information you know Jack Shit about. Stay in your own goddamned lane.

You guys 🥹🥹

My first goal in MFP was 139.5lbs because that just puts me at a normal BMI. Grain of salt and all with that stat but still. I’ve lost almost 30lbs you guys. I hit my first big goal. I can’t fucking believe it. I’ve never consistently lost weight beyond like 5-10lbs and now here I am… This is surreal!
The journey does continue too! I know I still want to lose fat and I’m guessing about 120lbs would look & feel good at my height, depending on how much muscle I have and all. That goal weight is much more arbitrary though.
But damn. I fucking did it. I hit a goal!!!!
Here’s a graph to show how things took time and weren’t linear:

It's kinda hard to tell but that first 4/16 is from 2022. Basically took a long break from the 2022 holidays until this past summer haha. But then I kept it going!

Here’s my first Hevy pic vs a few days ago. Not only body (and face!) progress but dat confidence! 😁✨

what are your anya taylor joy opinions
that while she has been good in things (thoroughbreds) she's generally a bit flat and over hyped and most people raving about her is because she's skinny and beautiful like a ridiculous amount of reviews of her performance reference how stylish or how good she looks in period costumes or whatever and im just kinda over it tbh standard nepo baby rich girl getting by on looks and projection im just not that interested. the menu was shite and so was last night in soho and her role on the northman was laughable and just all style so substance idk

I've been seeing a lot art, especially in the adopt spheres lately that are just female designs with MASSIVE tits and hips, like, freaking M cups or something with the tiniest waists and calves and feet and huge huge hips and as a plus size person it just makes me so deeply uncomfortable
Like, I get it... a person can be horny. That's fine. But ONLY drawing that and insisting it's fat? No thank you. It's not fatness it's Kardashian-inspired thinness where the tummy has to be flat, but the ass and tits can be huge because that's what's "in" right now to be "sexy".
And worse, it's comically done proportions with gravity defying boobs, no rolls whatsoever, and is basically a thin person inflated where people want to grab, smoothed on all sides like a cartoon to be a perfect bimbo and that's it. It's Pixar mom hips and anime titties. Its not fucking realistic and it sucks to constantly see people be like 'look!! I put fat people in my work!'
No you didn't.
As someone who is also very nicely soft, I can attest that a lot of us do want our bodies seen as sexy but that INCLUDES the rolls and the tummies and the chins and the arms and everything else.
But we also want to see ourselves in the mundane! We don't get to see the protagonists be fat unless they're comedy. We don't get to see ourselves portrayed on TV as desirable in any way, be it sexual, intellectual, or even just in advertisements that aren't used to shame us. We don't even get to exist most of the time where people can readily see us.
Also I'm fucking tired of fatness being a weird fetish. I personally love fat bodies, and I'm attracted to fat bodies, but I don't even have the ability to look for pinups or sexy art because its either the bimbo art..... or I have to wade through the plethora of fetish art that's humiliating and uncomfortable to look at because its objectifying and 90% of it puts more emphasis on eating and getting fat because of it, instead of like..... I dunno... just enjoying a person the way they are???
And I'm not going to shame people for having their kinks but when it's the ONLY THING AVAILABLE it really fucking sucks!!!
Fatness is nice and good and soft and lovely and I'm so sick of everyone pretending its ugly and terrible because you bought the propaganda that capitalism needs to thrive.
Gonna start saying it- if you believe in the propaganda of diet culture, exercise to lose weight culture, and that fatness is unhealthy, ugly or evil, you're a capitalist pig that's drunk the kool-aid.

i am so disconnected from societys views on fat, weight, "health", etc that my friend saying she wants to lose weight is shocking and bizarre to me. like she's not even slightly fat so i just cant understand why she would want to lose weight, not that being fat means someone should want to lose weight, but still.
like what i consider fat and what society at large considers fat are so different i just dont get it
