So Sue values her appearance in an almost slothful way... she hardly gets the time or money for it but she'll go to the salon and get her makeup done and her hair and eyebrows dyed (or maybe that's natural idk) , and it goes hand-in-hand with materialistic desires of wanting to be rich and drive nice cars and wear fur coats one day.

But this slothful, materialistic streak directly conflicts with her workaholic standards and her devout hatred for percieved "lazy" people.

But these traits are more about smth hedonistic then they are about maintaining beauty standards - shes not insecure abt how she looks, she doesn't think shes lacking in any way, she doesnt judge people TOO much based on how well they're performing social beauty standards - Sue has this quiet confidence and disregard for the "fake things" in life. She unfortunately has a slothful streak that she has to reconcile with and a materialistic streak that makes her hypocritical at times, but this is an example of a Self-Indulging Pride that does not come with its inverse of hidden insecurity. It's just straight-forward hedonsim.

And so what I'm wondering about Emery is like............ my perception right now is that Yes she would like to be rich, who wouldnt, and Yes she wants to be beautiful, who wouldnt - but there is more insecurity involved in the latter. You say that she doesnt care TOO much, but she does judge other people heavily . So I'm tryin to like.. articulate smth here

The little that she does care, is she disappointed when she does not meet her expectations? Can this be traced back to societal pressure or is she just like that ?

Shes not as young as she used to be. Does she feel secretly insecure about her appearance now , or is she self-righteous enough to know that shes earned her right to age ?

I guess what I'm really wondering is Does her Pride come coupled with Insecurity ?

She looks down on things hedonistic in nature, she thinks ppl should dress modestly and be Civil and whatnot. so when she cares about her appearance , is it a hypocritical hedonistic thing , is it an insecure gotta-meet-expectations thing, or is it just simply that she has her own Standards that she never feels bad about. That this is just her way of being.

And when she judges others for how they look , is she projecting her own tough expectations and insecurities onto others to make herself seem higher ? Is she just expressing societal standards shes internalized? Or is she just a caustic individual whose pride makes her feel entitled to judging others, and her cuntiness makes it so she judges unfairly ?

Like.... I KNOW shes PRIDEFUL - but is the Pride self-assured? Could it hold up in an argument? A lifetime of arguments? Is it truly indicative of how she thinks and feels?

Or is it a messy expression of her horribly stubborn self and deep insecurities that she is just too PRIDEFUL to let manifest ?

I think you are a kind of pioneer of “slob bbw artworks.” How did you get inspiration?

I am most certainly not! @gnibbles @bro-mage as well as DoWhatNow and others were here doing slob bbw years before I truly embraced it.

So you could say the fetish itself inspired me, I’ve always enjoyed cute girls “letting themselves go” indulging to the extreme, letting loose and loving it (openingly or in secret). When I saw slobby art some of it was honestly too much for me. But that concept of pushing the hedonism and taboos of weight gain to their limits always intrigued me.

So my slob art is basically a reaction of “oh, just how far can I push the more taboo/hedonsim aspect” with my weight gain art. I was no longer experimenting with size/progression but expression and context. To me it feels like a natural extension to a weight gain sequence “how does this change a character”

Messy eating, burping and even farting are just extensions of all out hedonism and uncaring indulgence.
