| #PROFILE: JAXREL. | Though a half-blood, Jaxrel comes from an ancient family line, dating back to the first man who had held a wand in his, magic sparking from the end of the stick. To this family, magic is almost as easy as breathing — a simple nature mastered in a short period of time while even the greatest struggle. But like every wizard, they send their kids to the esteemed school of magic, Hogwarts.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚ You wrote that you were a Ravenclaw but I wouldn’t say that was my initial reason for choosing this house for you. Ravenclaw’s aren’t one singular category — just like knowledge that can be sorted in multiple ways. Ravenclaws are said to be intelligent — which is already a section you fit — but I don’t think they are solely about basic knowledge. They are philosophical and with minds that often wander far from reality. They aren’t exact introverts but they aren’t the life of the party (which would be a classic Gryffindor). Ravenclaws follow their own ways — they are strategic and break norms to do what they think is the proper way. And the fact you know of ‘big’ words adds extra points. After all, which Ravenclaw wouldn’t like to rub in people’s faces that they are better?

HEADCANONS:

All the Ravenclaws sit in the common room after the school day has ended. It mainly consists of eating snacks together and helping one another with their homework — the older ones helping the younger ones and friends helping one another out.

You were definitely an easy choice for the Sorting hat. You did have some traits that could fit in the other houses but none of them matched your likeliness to the brilliants students in the house of intelligence

You are the dad of the house! While the other older kids are busy with their own things, you try to make as much time to help the younger ones feel more comfortable away from their family. And since you were a half-blood, it was definitely easier. You could understand the pureblood, the Muggleborn and the other half-bloods

I’ll add more headcanon down below in the extra part where there are headcanons of all kinds!

LOVER

How you met: YEAR 1

It was getting too dark. Jaxrel shouldn’t even be up, searching through the magical halls of Hogwarts. But it was so… magical. He couldn’t exactly explain but with every turn, he would somehow find something new. The rules required all students in bed at this late time but this was when the halls were empty for him to explore. At most, he would bump into an elf or a ghost— but frankly, they had too much respect and fear for his family to say anything that could get him in trouble. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a soft, silver glow over everything in sight and the stars twinkled like diamonds adorning the black abyss when a painting caught his eye.

While most paintings that covered the ancient walls were enchanted and acted more like a video than a picture, this one was frozen in time. But it wasn’t even that factor but more so the man in the painting. His nose, face, and his eyes — beautiful hazel eyes with green and blue tints — almost everything about this enigmatic figure resembles Jaxrel. Cocking his head to the side, the young boy took a step forward to examine the painting more. There was no doubt at all that Jaxrel was related to that man, but who was he? Jaxrel added a mental note at the back of his head to borrow some books tomorrow morning to research more.

A small sigh escaped Jaxrel, his eyes a bit more heavy than before. He should definitely head back to bed. But do you ever have that feeling when you know that someone is staring at you? Unfortunately for Jaxrel, that’s how he felt. But, he should be alone right now. Who would be out of bed.

As Jaxrel turned around, expecting to see an elf or perhaps even a teacher (which God forbid happening), he was surprised to find a boy standing there instead. With untamed black hair, a lion on his red cloak and silver eyes that held a spark of mischief, the boy — who couldn’t be much older than Jaxrel at all — took a step forward to greet Jaxrel.

"Hey," the boy said with a friendly grin, "You're out late."

Jaxrel blinked in surprise, feeling a rush of relief at the realisation that it wasn't a teacher. "Um well, I couldn't sleep," he smiled sheepishly. "I was just exploring the castle."

The other boy nodded, his grin widening. "Me too! Hogwarts is so huge, there's always something new to discover."

"I'm Jaxrel, by the way," he said, extending his hand, hoping to make a new friend.

The boy shook it eagerly. "Sirius. Sirius Black," he replied, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Jaxrel's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Black? Like the Black family?"

Sirius shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah, that's me. But don't hold it against me," he added with a playful grin. "I'm not..,” He paused for a second, his voice almost sad. “Exactly the model for a Black heir."

Jaxrel smiled, a small chuckle almost escaping his lips, but he kept it in once noticing the faint sadness that lingered in Sirius’s voice. He had heard stories about the Black family's reputation for being strict and traditional, but Sirius seemed anything but.

"So, what were you doing out here?" Sirius asked, changing the route of the conversation. "Besides exploring, I mean."

Jaxrel hesitated for a moment, unsure why he really was out. He wanted to simply explore the castle, nothing more.

"I found this painting," Jaxrel said quickly, in an attempt to not appear boring, towards the frozen image on the wall. "It looks like me but I’m unsure of who it is"

Sirius's eyes lit up with interest. "Let me see," he said, stepping closer to examine the painting. Jaxrel could tell Sirius knew who was in the picture but didn’t blurt it out. Sirius almost seemed confused yet marvelled at the sight of Jaxrel’s look alike. He turned to Jaxrel and finally told him who the man was. Sirius may or may have not rambled a bit but to simply sum it up, that man is a model for all.

He was the first man who had held a wand in his, magic sparking from the end of the stick. He brought magic into his blood and taught it to those who desired that ability. Jaxrel looked up, an idiotic smile stretched across his face as he turned to Sirius.

“That’s… amazing!” He exclaimed.

Sirius simply smiled at him. “Let me take you back to,” Sirius looked at the eagle on Jaxrel’s robes, “The Ravenclaw tower.”

On their way back, the two boys talked and laughed about everything their little minds could think of. But as all good things come to an end, they reach where they need to be.

“Well… goodnight.” Sirius waved, smiling as brightly as his namesake star, blinding Jaxrel. Holding on to the doorframe, Jaxrel watched Sirius walking away from his reach.

“Goodbye for now too.” He whispered to himself.

HOW IS THE COUPLE NOW?

Well, it took them all the way until their 6th year to actually get together, despite James repeatedly attempting to get them together. After Hogwarts, the two of them immediately got married despite the dissatisfaction from Sirius’s side of the family but the truth is he never really cared for them. After a while, they had a little baby girl named Atiya who — as her name suggests — was a gift to the couple. But traders stuck when Sirius was sent to Azkazaban and Jaxrel had to raise Atiya himself. But even then, they loved each other as much as they did, if not more.

# ATIYA BLACK

⋆ ̊.⋆୨୧ ̊ After a few months of being married, they were struck with news so brilliant it brought tears of joy in their eyes. Sirius almost dropped to the floor when he held his new born daughter in his hands, so ever gently as if she was the most precious thing in the world — and in that moment, she truly was. The baby was a precious little gift in their lives, hence her name Atiya. Atiya was a cunning yet sweet soul, even at a young age. She had the majority of Sirius's feather and black waves that cascaded down her back, but she had Jaxrel’s mesmerising eyes — much of Sirius's joy — and a little dimple on her chin. Remus and Lily were announced as Atiya’s godparents, much to James’s dismay. But as I mentioned above, Sirius was later framed and sent to Azkaban, leaving Jaxrel to raise Atiya alone. But despite being a single parent, Jaxrel raised her with every ounce of love in him. You could imagine his sadness when he sent his daughter and only child to Hogwarts, in hopes of becoming a great witch, where she was sorted into Slytherin. Sirius may or may have not had a little anger outbreak but we don’t need much focus on that…

PLATONIC RELATIONSHIP

JAMES POTTER; James likes you. A lot. As a friend tho. It did take him a bit of time to get accustomed with your presence around his tight knit friend group but once he did, he loved having you around. Always asking Sirius some questions like “where is Jaxrel” or “what should I buy Jaxrel for his birthday.” A part of him thought that Sirius knew everything about you. He was so set on setting the two of you together but unfortunately it never came until your 6th year. Literally your gossip buddy and the friend who steals your food when you're not looking, but promises to pay back (which he never does). Was also the best man during your wedding!

LILY EVAN; Lily has no idea how someone as sweet, intelligent and caring as you ended up in the same friend group as those four idiots. She is always borrowing you from them, dragging you much to their dismay. Do they act all dramatic and begin using Shakespeare language? Yes, they do. But she is 100% your study buddy. She knows she can trust you with all her heart and when she died, she wanted Harry in your care but that never happened.

REMUS LUPIN; Your best friend! He is the only sane person in this group, but, similar to you, he is willing to break rules to some extent. When he came to you with his secret, you treated him like he was some monster. And when his friends wanted to become animagus to help Remus, you offered to research and find books in your personal library. I wholly believe that Remus helped raise Atiya and would often babysit her. You first met him when he sat beside you during potion and he forgot to write some notes. He always buys your chocolate and the two of you go on walks. He is your safe person and you are his. 10/10 fluffy friendship.

REGULUS BLACK; He doesn’t really care much for you? He approves of your and Sirius’s relationship because you are so perfect for him but aside from that, he has never really spoken or interacted with you. At most, the two of you would accidentally lock eyes when walking in halls. He would always look away first.

HARRY POTTER; He has never really had a mother figure in his life until he met you. You are the bravest Auror in his eyes but that may be a bit biassed on his behalf. He wanted to grow up with you and Atiya, not with the Dursley. Oftentimes during the summer, you would invite him to stay the summer at your place after Sirius came back. I just know he would name a child in your honour.

SEVERUS SNAPE; I know that you would try to like Snape and try to engage in conversations but he loathed you. In truth, he barely knew who you were but anyone who considered themselves friends with James was someone he would hate. But adulthood, the two of you had gotten a bit more civilised but that’s it.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚ I’m not exactly sure how to explain this section but this animal was what came to mind when I thought of you. I did find an analysis for it here! So do check it out, please. The post describes it so well I don’t need to add any of my own comments.

⋆ ̊.⋆୨୧ ̊ You excel in most of your classes, but Potions and Transfigurations have always been your specialty. Defence Against the Dark Arts is something I wouldn’t exactly put near the top of the classes you are good at tho.

⋆ ̊.⋆୨୧ Joining the quidditch team in your 3rd year, you were given the role of a seeker. You were agile and quick, the perfect seeker. By your 6th year, you quickly rose ranks and became Captain of Ravenclaw’s team.

⋆ ̊.⋆୨୧ Taking back to the third headcanon in the Ravenclaw section, the way you acted with your peers and helped them become the best version of themselves is what got you Prefect and even Headboy.

⋆ ̊.⋆୨୧ You can’t name a single student who has not have had feelings for you. I mean, who wouldn’t? You came from a perfect family, related to one of the greatest wizards. You were an all star student and athlete. Your looks and charisma are even a big help. Is Sirius jealous? Yes. But is he also proud that you are his and no one else’s? Definitely

⋆ ̊.⋆୨୧ The Marauders use your titles as Prefect or Head Boy to get around with what they want all the time. You often scold them for it but it is amusing to know you have so much power over other students.

I had a hard time choosing but I see Sirius Black (6th year) from the marauders timeline sooo much so I’m going to go with him if that's okay :D

Sirius Black X Ravenclaw Fem Reader

(Blurb)

You had no time to lose, the library was about to close but you desperately needed that book on Potions. You were determined to get an O for the next test the following day, but had forgotten to pick up some of the required reading beforehand. You finally reached the dark oak library doors but as you twisted the door knob you realized… it was locked. Bloody hell. You were locked out, however you would not let Severus beat you again in potions. So you muttered a soft alohomora under your breath and heard the satisfying click of the lock before entering the dark hall. You had to make it quickly to the second floor of the library before any loitering ghosts like Peeves would spot you and likely rat you out to the librarian as he had done the previous week. You tiptoed as fast as possible behind shelves and up the metal stairs before hearing a large BANG noise. You were sure you were busted as you turned in the direction of the sound. You were shocked to meet Sirius Black face to face holding a strange metal vase from a nearby shelf. “Fancy meeting you here L/N” he said as smoothly as possible before quietly setting the vase down on its pedestal. “Same to you” you said dismissively as you promptly turned in the other direction about to find that potions book. “I wonder why you’re here l/n” Sirius, to your dismay, followed on your right just a pace behind you with an amused look on his handsome face and hands folded behind his back. “None of your business Black, you can go back to whatever it is you were doing.” you waved him off trying to ignore the swarming butterflies in your stomach. He sauntered off and as you finally held the book you needed in your hand you heard the librarian’s loud and shrill voice as she scolded Sirius. “Mr. Black you should be ashamed of yourself, walking around here at nearly midnight on a school night no less?!” She gripped him by his arm, her sharp nails digging into his skin. You managed to duck behind a shelf in time to avoid her gaze but made eye contact with Sirius and offered a sympathetic smile as you watched from afar. “Well, Mr. Black were you here with Mr. Potter, Mr Lupin, or anybody else?!” She pointed at him with her finger and he looked away from you as he answered her “No, Ma’am I was here alone tonight.” You just shook your head and smiled as you watched the librarian haul Sirius away but not before he shot you a quick wink over his shoulder causing your face to heat up in a rather embarrassing way. Well, at least you got that book you wanted, and more…

(Headcanons)

Okayyy I know everyone has said that Sirus is more likely to go for a S/O who is in Gryffindor but I kinda disagree, I feel like as long as his S/O wasn’t in Slytherin then he wouldn’t care. And he loves the fact you are in Ravenclaw. I think he likes sneaking in and out of places- Including the Ravenclaw Common room.

Before and leading up to when you two begin dating I feel like Sirius is always around you, as soon as you do something small that captures his attention he is never letting you go. Ex: You answer a question in a class where you are more reserved so all of a sudden he hears your pretty voice and he’s enthralled and is interested in you.

STUDY DATES- at least once a week, I have a belief that Sirius is smarter that he would let on so maybe he would play dumb on certain subjects just to get you to explain them to him.

Ever since he found out about you taking Ballet lessons/ practices he would start to show up to your recitals and performances always in awe of how graceful and delicate you danced. - James is probably the most perfect match for you there is. He’s just as much of a mum friend as you are, so when the two of you team up with your “mum glare”, everyone is sprinting out of the room. But really, you just want the best for them! This is also definitely why James is so keen on taking care of you; because he feels like usually you’re just the one doing it for everyone else and you deserve the same treatment. He literally couldn’t be more caring, loyal or protective.

- We all know he’s the strategic mind behind pranks, and so it’s not really a surprise that none of them are ever directed at you. But when you join their little group, their pranks actually get better. Or well, not better for the others. But better in the sense of better planned, more elaborate. Less risk of getting caught. There always are some advantages to having a Slytherin work with you, after all.

- James falls in love with you again and again every time he sees you playing Quidditch. Even though you’re on different teams. Even though when you’re in a match against each other, you’ll aim the bludger at him more than at anyone else. Even though you’re dead set on winning - just the way he is, too. You do train together, of course. Not officially, but you do. James is always on the Quidditch field, and my emphasis is on always. So having a girlfriend that absolutely shares this passion? Maybe not as passionate as him but competitive enough to always join and try to totally destroy him, even just in practise? He couldn’t have wished for anything better.

- He’s not really a cat person, or, well, he’s just more of a dog person, but he really does do his best to get along with Chloe. It’s a little hard. I have the slight suspicion that “Chloe chasing a wild deer through your completely messed up dorm” is a situation occuring more than once. James just has that flight or flight response (yes, flight or flight). Especially around cats.

- James is also often at the top of his class, in many classes. ...In all. Really, he’s just an amazing student. Somehow. Nobody knows how. So competition isn’t something that only happens during Quidditch. But also during class. The teachers don’t know whether to encourage you (students that raise their hands in 0.2 seconds so they can be faster than someone else is disturbing, but they’re taking part in class, and they’re both good - it’s confusing. really) though soon, they’re just as into the competition as you are. In private, of course. Some better at hiding that than others. The rest of the marauders are keeping lists as well.

- In the end, you’re really happy with each other. It just works. You’ve found the perfect person and you can’t imagine being with anyone else.

So, I'm going to start with the Marvel and Harry Potter fandoms first and then probably come back for more matchups in the future, and romantic please.

So, I'm a straight female, pronouns are she/her, proud Ravenclaw. I'm 5'1, blonde hair, blue eyes, an introvert until I get close to someone than I'm very sarcastic and silly. I like to think I'm pretty good listener and very loyal to my friends and family plus my cat. 🥃 You were at a small bar, (you weren't normally for them), it wasn't a bad one, not loud or crowded, but open, bright, and even had a few arcade machines and the music was blasting, but playing at a nice level that wasn't going to give you a headache - it was a nice place to go with friends, which were with you; you were just having a good time, tapping your foot to the music that you chose (Def Leppard) that played on the jukebox

🥃 And then he walked in, signalling the bartender and ordering himself a drink - you couldn't seem to look away, until you did, snapping out of your head and getting back into the conversation with your friends; it wasn't until you met the mysterious man again

🥃 However long later, you and Bucky had become a couple, (you were a bit nervous and a bit introverted when you first spoke, but you got used to him, and Bucky got to see the more silly and sarcastic you) - the beginning of your relationship with the man was slow but beautiful and interesting to say the least; it took a great deal of time, but Bucky finally revealed to you most if not all about his past

🥃 You'd often stay home with Bucky, eating your favorite mint chocolate chip ice cream together while watching movies - which would then end in cuddling, your hands playing with his, ending up just talking or just listening to Bucky talk; he loves that you are a good listener, and loved listening to you talk about anything and everything

🥃 Your friends were a bit wary of him in the beginning, when you introduced Bucky to them - they were a bit worried, because of the Winter Soldier times - but you stood up for him, telling them that Bucky was actually a very kind and wonderfully sweet guy, and that he was mind controlled; your friends dropped it, and seemingly got along with him

🐍 You knew Draco during Hogwarts, obviously, but as a Ravenclaw, you hardly been around the young man expect for when your house and his mixed during classes - but you didn't get to actually meet him until two years after graduation/the Battle of Hogwarts; and it was then that you saw that behind that mean exterior that he had shown through school, on the inside, he was actually a very misunderstood man (and you realized it even during the battle, you knew because of his family, he was scared that they'd hurt him, friends, or family)

🐍 You met when you were both just out and about, you were out shopping for stuff for your cat, and when you saw Draco, you recognized him immediately, and he remembered you as he walked over (almost nervously as you were feeling), before apologizing; he apologized for anything he had said to you that may have hurt your feelings, you totally forgot about what he said to you back in first year, but he remembered, and you appreciated the apology (he then asked if you wanted to join him for coffee/tea)

🐍 From then on, your little coffee/tea meetups happened more often, almost every weekend - and you got to know the real Draco, that he likes apples, the color red (funnily enough), and reading - you exchanged your interests, your love for dark blue roses, classic rock n' roll, and your beautiful cat child

🐍 Soon enough, those cafe dates ended up traveling to dinner dates (where Draco would take you to the finest restaurants in London), to pic-nics on hills of wildflowers, to movie and music nights at your place - your cat is best friends with Draco at this point - and you also may or may not have stolen almost all of Draco's shirts; he knows where they went, but he's not getting them back any time soon

🐍 So, with his hand in yours, you sit back, showing him your favorite movie series, (along with other fun Muggle stuff - just the two of you, spending time together, having the time of your lives

FAQ under cut:

Q: Why did you put in x character and not y character? Aren't there more hateable characters from that franchise?

A: I wanted to keep the competition light-hearted, funny, and interesting. I intentionally avoided most shitty parent characters, dictators, characters who were meant to be hated, etc., as well as characters heavily associated with bigotry and sexual assault, and gravitated towards characters that were more divisive in fandom. Exceptions were only made for characters I am familiar enough with and can use my own judgement for. Using Zenos as an example: He is a villain who is very evil and meant to be hated, which I mostly avoided when taking suggestions for things I wasn't familiar with myself. However, he's very divisive between people who think he's a good interesting villain, people who don't think he's a good villain and don't like him in the story at all, and people who want him carnally. Walter White is also meant to be hated, but he has a meme status, and as a villain protagonist I think he's more interesting than most "meant to be hated" characters. Also, there are certain franchises that I simply didn't want to include. If JK Rowling wasn't such a real and horrible political presence, owing all her influence to Harry Potter, I would've definitely put Snape on the poll. As it stands, I don't really want to give HP any attention. TL;DR answer: Because it's funnier that way

Q: But I LIKE that character :(

A: As mentioned before, I specifically gravitated more towards characters who are more divisive rather than universally hated. They are usually more interesting, and there is more variety with those types of characters - you don't have shitty dad character #1 vs. shitty dad character #2. I actually looked for "anti-(character)" tags and discourse about that character when making decisions about who to include. lol If you actually like some of these characters (uh, my condolences), vote against them in their respective matchups.

Q: Is it too late to suggest a replacement?

A: Yes.

Q: Why are you doing this?

A: I feed off of hatred and violence. I want to see who tumblr users REALLY hate.

Q: Why Pearl?

A: It was quite a while ago now so I get it if people don't remember, but Pearl discourse used to be a big thing and people argued that she was irredeemable for many of the things she did early on in the show. If you remember the "Pearl hates the Irish" meme, that was a parody of how much people hated her

Q: Why Hooty?

A: I haven't seen the Owl House but I'm told many people think he's annoying. Also he's voiced by Alex Hirsch and fuck that guy he did my boy Ford so dirty I'm still mad about this

Q: Why Starlight Glimmer?

A: MLP:FiM is another show I didn't really watch but she was a villain who got redeemed and became a main character and a lot of people think her redemption arc was rushed and botched and she actually made a lot of people quit watching the show. One of my close friends really really really hates her and I don't think that's an isolated incident

Q: Why Berdly?

A: Annoying. Personally I think his arc of becoming less annoying was pretty fun but a lot of people still hate him.

Q: Why Bakugo (instead of Mineta)?

A: I actually debated this a lot and held a preliminary poll which Mineta actually won. But then I decided democracy is dead because Mineta really wouldn't be as interesting as Bakugo in this tournament because he's basically universally hated. Bakugo is more interesting because people who hate him REALLY hate him, while people who love him REALLY love him. Kind of like Vriska. I think. I never read Homestuck and I don't plan on ever doing so.

Q: Why Tony Stark?

A: He's a heavily divisive character because he's a war profiteer billionaire with a superiority complex, but the narrative treats him as a morally pure hero. Also, he's MCU Spider-Man's mentor and most of MCU Spider-Man is basically defined by Tony Stark and he's not allowed to be his own character. There's a bunch of other stuff but I didn't watch and I don't care about most of the MCU. Personally I'm a really big Spider-Man fan and I despise him for what he did to Peter Parker but I shall refrain from making this a long rant.

Q: Why did you include characters that you're not familiar with?

A: I didn't want to exclusively have characters from my interests. I wanted a bit of variety. Before the poll started, I accepted submissions for candidates, and basically trusted submitters to send in decent characters. Some of the characters I ended up with may go against the vague guidelines I set for myself, which kind of sucks, but that's how it is now.

A: Make your own tournament then. I'm just some guy making a tournament on tumblr dot com for free. Don't take it too seriously.
