Double post today, sorrynotsorry, here's a preview of the next legendary. I'm just finding *so* much enjoyment with these over the top colorful homages to my childhood favorites. It's just a nice feeling. When you find it, chase it.

Remembering that one time I rambled for over an hour about how ugly certain pokemon trainers' outfits were and how cute they could've been if they were just changed in some bits and from different angles etcetera etcetera

Late to the Party - SV and New Announcement Thoughts
Which I shall put below the cut for those who haven't seen the Pokemon Presents video yet.
A new Pokemon Legends game?! Set in Lumiose City? Featuring ZYGARDE?
...I'm impressed at how this franchise keeps yanking me back in. ¦D
Granted, I wouldn't have played Pokemon Scarlet if not for my niece's interest. And not because I didn't think it was a good (if a bit chuggy n buggy) game, but rather that my interest had waned and time to do all things is short. But my niece really wanted to, and I had wanted to try the local co-op play feature (it was something listed in my dream Pokemon game document after all), so we finally started our combined adventure in Paldea yesterday.
And this is what I'd hoped Sword and Shield to be like.
The local co-op is so fun! You can finally go on a journey with someone else (or three someones), and it makes the experience feel more alive somehow.
Shifting between travelling and battling is also pretty seamless, rather like Legends, which I wasn't expecting and appreciate. Love the new Pokemon Center/Mart/Connectivity stops. The photo mode is entertaining and primed for plenty of silliness.
We've not even got inside the school yet because there's so much to do just...exploring. Feels good. I pretty much got my dream Pokemon game(s) in the end.
My character Antigua, and her lechonk, Erfum.

@team-mavericks continued from here
That answer was anything but encouraging. 'Buggy' could mean anything. An actual bug type? A pseudo-bug type like Lurantis or flygon? What type would that pseudo-bug be? And what about a three-mouthed black hole?! That... last one sounds so familiar, but at the same time, so, so terrifying.
[Text: G] Was buggy thin and white?
She had to rule out her encounter first.
[Text: G] And could it physically rip apart something like a zekrom?
No, that was not going to be a point she'd elaborate on.

I just got a weird idea. Magneton is three magnemites smushed together. What if one of those three were a shiny?

Assigning Five Man Band tropes to my Pokemon teams because I started thinking about it too long
Kristal's Crystal team would go like this:
Leader -- Chiko the Meganium
Lancer -- Beruru the Butterfree
Big Guy -- Vita the Tyranitar
Smart Guy -- Girushi the Gengar
The Heart (/Chick) -- Taddi the Politoed
The Sixth Man -- Keitai the Noctowl
The Ace -- Tatta the Raticate
(using both The Ace and the Sixth Man because my Leader is not my Ace for once) (although all of my team from this could qualify as Aces and two are Smart Guys whoops)
