I really love your 'Allie Brown AU' and the art you've made for it. A quick question if you don't mind (since I've been getting into comics fairly recently; sorry if I'm misunderstanding or lacking knowledge). But from some of the panels and tumblr essays I've seen. Some lines from Dana which I've seen which sticks out; "Do you think it's that girl, Stephanie, that he likes? She had a child out of wedlock - while she was still a kid herself. Is she a bad influence?" and then "She's so worldly and Tim's so - not. He's such a trusting, innocent boy. She could be luring him into all sorts of mischief" (context is Jack and Dana found out Tim's been lying about getting his Robin-injuries from football). So I guess I'm wondering if that kinda of stuff expressed by Dana has any appearing on her views on Steph and their relationship in your AU? Sorry if this is a bit much, guess I've been reading a lot of stuff recently to learn more about this stuff and that stuff by Dana caught my attention. Hope you have a nice day, and like I said; I really love your AU, very wholesome and well made.
I think I personally got to those panels after starting the AU, so at that point I'd already decided Dana was gonna be a cool step-mom about the whole situation and slightly less stressed than Jack, at least outwardly and towards Tim. She probably has her reservations and canonically this whole storyline takes place in the 90s, so her having those views isn't necessarily surprising but I personally never got that vibe from her, if I'm being honest, so I'm regarding them a little bit like Steph's pro-life outbursts and Tim's occasional misogyny under Dixon. Writers sewing drama or inserting their own views. (Though to be fair, I haven't read every Dana Winters apperance, so maybe that's just the real her. I don't know lol.)
To make a long story short, Dana generally strikes me as a friendly, supportive person who knows Tim has a good head on his shoulders and knows Jack is might lose his if she doesn't stay cool, so, at least in this AU, she very much tries to be the mediator between all parties, even if she might have some reservations or prejudices herself. Like, she's definitely not jumping with joy at the prospect of Tim dating a teen mom and she's definitely a bit skeptical of Steph but in the end, she trusts the kid (Tim, I mean) and she trusts herself and Jack to recognize if things do go south or if Steph does, in fact, become a bad influence (which she doesn't lol).
(Also, edit, thank you for saying you like my art, it always means a lot to me to hear that.)

asks pt 5 (last for now)
Tumblr media
Mn, I guess? I can see that as a potential threat for her to make, it just doesn’t feel super related to what she said. Huh. I wonder if they weren’t allowed to use the word divorce this ep? That would explain some slightly odd wording in a couple places.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, I suspect that too. It’s a shame, but. Stuff happened the way it happened.
Tumblr media
So… my impression of their relationship prior to CotH was that they were a genuinely loving, supportive relationship between two very amoral nasty people. The way he came over to put his hands on her shoulders at the end of Escaping Expulsion, her casually reaching into his coat for a business card, the way she tugged him down into kneeling when Hunter showed up, all of that felt to me like they legitimately cared about each other and understood each other in a way other people didn’t.  I find that a fascinating dynamic. I loved the idea that they were terrible parents but good spouses, it’s tasty to watch. Villains with loved ones who remain genuine villains are something I enjoy in fiction a lot.
When it became clear Alador was going to come around at least a bit and be on his kids’ side, I was really looking forward to the tension that would bring between him and Odalia. Two people who genuinely love each other, a relationship split apart as one develops a moral compass and the other doesn’t. Odalia not understanding why her husband is pulling away from her, Alador not understanding why his wife can’t see how wrong they’ve been. I think that dynamic is super tasty.
The way CotH was written, though, seemed to kind of retcon it so that she was never a loving wife to him but more of a bad boss he had to escape. It makes the relationship comparatively flat, one-directionally unhealthy. I wouldn’t take issue with it if that was how it had come off from the start; the way that it’s written now, I’m proud of Alador for splitting off and trying to be a better father. I just feel like it had potential for some really intriguing, complex dynamics that it didn’t follow through on.
…which is probably yet another casualty of the shortened show length, like we said above.

A possible piece of evidence against both Adrian (and probably Terra as well). The CATTs include four coven heads (if we include Lilith in that count) plus they're also probably about Adrian's actions at Hexside if Darius is in contact with Hunter. So presumably these highly skilled witches (who also now have access to Steve. who can do all the magic) could set up some precautions against illusions and such, especially since Adrian was beat by children
Tumblr media
While I’ve no doubt the rebels are skilled enough to defend themselves, what with everything going on they don’t seem to be focusing on it much so maybe something could’ve slipped through the cracks.
As for the coven heads thing — huh, I never thought about it like that. I kinda assumed that the rebel coven heads have formed strong bonds of trust during their time working together, but I’m biased bc I like their friendship, and they haven’t actually been working together all that long. It is possible that they’re more on guard against each other than they seem.

Church Spy: Your grace, do you recall that Western Church Bishop who insulted your character some time ago? I have been following him and I believe he may be plotting to help McDonalds in order to weaken your position so that he his criticisms of you can seem vindicated. I have already caught agents employed by him attempting to plant false evidence that McDonalds is a Brigid and Duscar plot. I am unsure if he's working with McDonalds or just using the crisis for his advantage.
Indeed… I remember all too well. I wish I could say that I could not believe this, but unfortunately it seems we have not the luxury. I should have done far more when I had the chance. I was foolish to believe a mere warning would be enough. Whether or not this connection to the enemy is an alliance or merely one-sided delusions of such does not change what punishment awaits, but... Our knights are currently stretched thin in this search for McDonalds… Hm. Continue as you are. If there truly is a connection, this pathetic excuse of a Bishop may yet slip and reveal their true location.

WFA Theory: The Identity of Gary
Tumblr media
So in episode 110 of Wayne Family Adventures, the character of 'Gary' is introduced as someone Steph and Cass attempt to blame for the lost of a drone.
However I was re-reading some of WFA and in Episode 48 we're introduced to another character who I think kinda looks like Gary.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They look similar in terms of hair colour and style, and it would also not be the only instance of WFA introducing reoccurring original characters (Such as Damian's school friend, or the trio Tim Drake's kidnappers).
Both Gary and Cass' friend have similar hair, skin tones, and light freckles. And if he’s Cass’ friend it would also better explain why this random dude just happened to get involved in their mission and also why they know and refer to him by name as they do.
What does this mean? Probably very little, I just thought it was a possible neat little detail. Come back tomorrow; same bat time, same bat place, as I overanalyse another minor detail which few if any people probably care about.
Because why not.

Did the ring rightfully belong to Felix’s mother? Sorry if I’m misunderstanding something but I don’t think it’s really too unusual for someone to keep the ring of their (as far as most know) dead wife.
That’s where it’s bit of a grey area.
On the one hand, it’s Gabriel’s wedding ring (since there should be no way for Gabriel to have Emilie’s ring) and from a logical standpoint it’s incredibly entitled and insensitive to demand a “widowed” man’s ring.
But on the other hand, the rings are a Graham de Vanily heirloom, so there’s probably an inheritance law that the rings stay within the family and with Emilie missing (and presumed dead) the rings fall to her sister Amelie. This would be a pretty big slap in the face that Gabriel doesn’t belong to the family Graham de Vanily despite being married into it, but given his reclusiveness and the fact he didn’t even come to his brother-in-law’s funeral, it’s pretty clear that the feeling’s mutual. And it could be my memory being incorrect but it sounds like Amelie didn’t get anything that used to belong to Emilie, so this is probably a last ditch effort to get something to remind her of her sister, since she seems to be coming to terms with the fact that Emilie is probably dead.
If these were rings that Emilie and Gabriel bought themselves, Amelie would have no claim. And of course with Gabriel knowing Emilie isn’t fully dead he’s not going to give away her things when he believes she can be brought back.
But from Amelie’s (and Felix’s) perspective, Emilie is dead and not only is her remaining family not willing to allow them to mourn together but they’re actively aggravating the grieving process by not giving them anything of sentimental value to remember her by. Amelie lost her twin sister and her husband in a one year span and Gabriel has shown zero sympathy for her situation. It’s really no wonder why Felix would be resentful

One thing I am curious about after the ending of Kipo is what all the characters are doing during the epilogue, we do see some of them but I am still interested in more details. Like is Billions a teaching Hugo Oak Academy now? Is Kipo Chancellor of H.M.U.F.A? Did Lio go back to teacher? What about Asher and Dahlia, they seemed pretty go with axes so maybe they created the H.M.U.F.A Self-Defence Force or something.
I knoooooowwww. I hope further canon touches on it because this new era is so cool.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Lio was still teaching, he was a teacher in the burrow and I doubt he’d stop just because he’s on the surface now. If anything I think being able to teach mutes would be an encouragement.
Billions seems like he’s teaching with Lio, which would make sense since the Newton Wolves wanted to share their knowledge. This new academy gives him and the other wolves the perfect chance to study and teach. Imagine the excitement on their faces when they first got access to the library the burrow had.
Idk if the H.M.U.F.A is still a thing at this point tbh. It would seem like humans and mutes passed the need for a specific alliance to make sure everyone gets along. If it is, I’d think it’s more like a city council in this point in time because of the need/want for new buildings and what not. Kipo would still lead it, but ultimately it’s based on the group as a whole.
As for Asher and Dahlia? I didn’t see any leads so I have no idea tbh. Those two being handy with an axe could mean they could continue working with the Timbercats, gathering wood for all the new buildings/renovations going on. Maybe one of them gets into carpentry or something and starts building stuff.
If there was ever a self defense/survival class I’d imagine Wolf would teach it tbh. Maybe not super often, but she’d definetly hold a few classes here and there.

Hi, I just saw you Lis2 oc and wanted to say Eleanor is amazing. Life is Strange is an amazing series and ever since I saw you liked it I was really glad that more people are finding out about this series, especially the second one (which I liked overall even if some didn’t). Daniel deserves all good things. Anyway I hope you’re staying safe in the pandemic.
Tumblr media
Omg!! I am so touched atm! Thank you so much for your kind words, it just made my day much brighter! ♥
First of all, I am glad you love my OC! I unfortunately don’t have a lot of notes on that post despite all the hard work I put into it due to 1) the artwork being about an OC (original characters get overlooked more than canon characters) and 2) Life is Strange 2 is like you said, more underrated than the first game. I love both games but I took have a slightly greater preference for the second game. And yes, all versions of the Diaz brothers deserves a happy ending!!
I definitely plan to draw more Eleanor/Daniel doodles, thank you so much for your support ♥♥♥ And stay safe too!

Technically I don't think it is ever confirmed Carmilla's daughter's are Hellborn? They could've just been her daughters in life and they all died and went to hell.
Hmm, I suppose it's possible. I just assumed they were hellborn because they look so young- sure one of them could've died in their twenties, but both?

Tumblr media
I mean, the way I see that is that the Emperor’s Coven are basically cops and the other Head Witches are more like government officials, does that make sense? Graye had a squad assigned to him when he came to Hexside so they had to do as he ordered (er, as best they could, given how shitty his directions are). I do think that the head of the Emperor’s Coven would officially outrank the other Head Witches; Graye was able to overrule Hunter’s command because Hunter’s currently a runaway, not because he has a higher rank, I think? And I don’t recall any of the Head Witches successfully disregarding Kiki; Darius told her to F off but she didn’t listen and he doesn’t seem like the type that wouldn’t tell someone who outranked him to go away because she’s annoying.
I do think the EC can be used for the Draining Spell, actually. I imagine their sigil will suck their souls out just like everybody else’s.
Tumblr media
Hello again! But yeah, that’s a really nice observation, I like that a lot. I’ve also been wondering if he’s distantly related to the Wittebanes, as he has a little baby forelock and a slightly Hunter-y nose.
Tumblr media
Ahaha I mean no need to fix what isn’t broken, her classic look was great. But this one is also great~

Ooooh, very nice. And now that we know that was secretly Luz, that means that she’s been used as a human shield against someone she’s close with by an Emperor’s Coven official twice.

Western Church Bishop: Lady Rhea, your decision to allow in foreigners of questionable piety and motives such as Petra of Brigid and Dedue of Duscur has left many concerned. How can you allow non-believers to potentially corrupt the future rulers of Fodlan? The saints themselves would be aghast at your foolishness. This is a clear sign you are unfit for the role of Archbishop! Step down and allow someone who actually serves the Goddess to fill it! (OOC: I am curious how angry Rhea can get)
I bet your pardon? You dare arrive upon my doorstep, under the banner of the very Church I lead, and declare yourself better than I? I am showing the non-believers the truth of our beliefs through the kindness of allowing them to persist in a land that was never graced with the presence of our Goddess, and this is how I am repayed? For everything I’ve done for Fodlan, for YOUR FAITH, this is how you answer to your superior? You have the GALL to even consider the saints during such blasphemy? Whomever was in charge of your positions appointment has quite clearly made a grave error. Do not worry. I shall rectify this myself.

Alastor and Rosie's motives
Spoilers for Hazbin Hotel Season 1 Episode 7
...
...
So there's a small moment during Hell Rosie, specially during the song, "Ready for this", which I don't think I've seen discussed much yet and thought was worth noting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While Charlie's off leading the parade of cannibals, Alastor and Rosie are shown hanging back to sing/chat together about her. And I feel their words are... worth noting.
Rosie and Alastor: She's bound to pass the test as Princess of Hell. Like her Daddy, she is madly power-fell!
Alastor: She's filled with potential that I could guide
Rosie: I concur
Rosie and Alastor: Stick with her, you'll be on the winning side
While its an overall very triumph song, I can't help but feel this section's a tad more worrying/sinister. They make a point to gush about how powerful Charlie is as the daughter of Lucifer, and Alastor straight up talks about how he wants to guide her potential.
Considering Alastor's growing influence, such as convincing Charlie to make a deal, this is worrying I think.
I feel this section is kinda a reminder that even if Alastor and Rosie are helpful to Charlie at the moment... they're still Overlords of Hell. They're most likely not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.
While Rosie was very nice and even helped Charlie sort her feelings out about Vaggie, this section shows her as also seemingly being drawn by Charlie's power and potential and straight up agreeing with Alastor's intentions to "guide" it.
And even if the main stated motive of the cannibals joining Charlie is to eat angels; I do feel there's likely more to Rosie's motives than just that.
I doubt Rosie became an Overlord by recklessly sending out her cannibals to seek dangerous feasts for no gain. Even if the cannibals managed to eat some angels, they likely suffered losses as well.
But like Alastor and Rosie say; "Stick with her, you'll be on the winning side."
They consider Charlie to be a horse worth backing, powerful like Lucifer but younger and more naive, and more open to their support and guidance.
I guess my point is. Rosie may seem nice but she's still a cannibal overlord who's friends with a sadistic serial killer. While I do think Carmilla may have been convinced to help for generally altruistic motives; Alastor and Rosie both seem like they're making an investment to get their foot further and further in the door with the Princess of Hell.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kipo is the mayor of New Las Vistas by the time of the epilogue. Personally I am also kind of imagining a Council system, like each faction having their own representative (so Molly could be the Timbercat Councillor, Hoag for the Clover, maybe Zane for the Science Burrow etc). One a side note you made a really good point about gathering wood for renovations, wood and stuff would be in a high demand.
Oooo yea I like the council system! Would be a lot more efficient too than just inviting every member of every pack. And I absolutely adore Kipo being giving the Mayor title, tho I think it’s more a title than anything. I doubt she’ll ever need to draw hard lines but if she does it’s probably only done with the council’s input.
Oh yea, they’re gonna need a lot of materials when renovating the town. And manpower too for both cleaning out and renovating. It’s gonna be a long process, especially since I doubt machines will be making a comeback any time soon.
