I haven’t gotten over the fact that Janelle Monae essentially played THREE roles in Glass Onion. Yeah, spoilers, but she played Helen, Andi, and Helen-as-Andi (and DRUNK Helen-as-Andi, who behaves more like real Andi but we didn’t KNOW THAT AT THE TIME so she was putting in the WORK)
And she deserves some damn recognition for that; like yes Daniel Craig and Edward Norton were good, we know that, so let’s maybe talk instead about the protagonist???

Trans Rights Readathon Book Recommendations
Tumblr media
Hello everyone, we hope you’re all doing great! This is our first newsletter post, and since the Trans Rights Readathon is approaching, we thought it would be a great idea to start with book recommendations by trans and non-binary authors!
The readathon is an annual call to action for readers and book lovers in support of Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st. This year’s Trans Rights Readathon will take place from March 22nd to March 29th. We are excited to participate, and we hope you are too!
For more information, please check out the @/transrightsreadathon. In the meantime, here are a few books that you should definitely add to your reading list. Keep reading these books throughout the year as well and continue to amplify trans voices.
Also, if you haven't already, don't forget to subscribe to our Medium newsletter. The link is in our bio!

Hiiiii my name is Bree Elaya and this is my first time ever putting out a call for mutual aid!!!
I currently am trying to recover and get on my feet in an entirely new state across the country for my personal safety after having to rapidly escape a years upon years long very traumatic and intense domestic violence/abuse situation. My emergency housing let me know earlier than expected that my time is up so I really am trying to wrap up these last few costs within the next week or two as quickly as humanly possible for me!!! I’m short just a bit with some of the very necessary costs and things and have exhausted all the personal resources and finances I can as I actively am also dealing with recovering from part of the financial abuse of my previous situation. Anything helps even if it is a share, repost, or boost because if can’t pay for these last few key costs I expected some more time with, me and my service animal could be facing the streets!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE 💕

i got real tired of this cycle
go to queer places and experience racism > go to marginalized places and experience homophobia/transphobia > go to geeky places and experience all of the above
Tumblr media

we share our art, talk about games, do monthly art challenges, and movie nights - PM me for the link or check it out here
