I think the kid saw the horse plush on the market and immediately fell in love - he is Geralts son after all. And as painful as it is sometimes, Jaskier doesn't hate Geralt. He certainly would enjoy seeing him suffer for a bit, but he doesn't want anything bad to happen to him either. You could even say he might still love him. So I think a big part of Jaskier really hopes that Geralt is roaming around somewhere, Roach at his side, and he doesn't need him to be happy (that would hurt) but I don't think he wants him to be unhappy either.

#I didn't knew until I drew it that Jaskier with stretch marks and a slightly sagging tummy and pecs was something I NEEDED #geraskier #jaskier #the witcher #geraskier lovechild #omegaverse #roach the horse #the more often I draw him the more feral I get about the baby too honestly #also I'm not sure how realistic I think it is that Jaskier is that good with age appropriate language #but you can take them being sweet with each other from my cold dead hands #also has Jaskier issues with his body post birth? Absolutely
