i hate it when people draw tom hiddlestons loki as a woman but instead of like making her a tall buff woman they turn her into some skinny hourglass figure supermodel

Well, after watching a recap of the first episode of season 2 of "Loki" (because I'm not paying Disney for anything at this point), I can pretty much confirm everything I said in my previous post. This show isn't about Loki at all. It's about the multiverse and just a set up for the next Avengers movie. Why is Loki even necessary as the main character, I wonder. They're just using him, and calling the show "Loki" to capitalize on his popularity, and that's about it. But otherwise, this show has nothing to do with him personally, as a character. It's got nothing to do with his own, personal growth. It's got nothing to do with his own, personal struggles. It's got nothing to do with his actual history within the MCU. It's just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo about the multiverse and Kang and the branching timelines. This is part of Marvel's problem these days. Everything is just a set up for the next movie or the next show. Instead of focusing on just telling good stories with the characters they're using, about the characters they're using, it all has to be a prelude to some big, universe spanning BS event.
They also had a scene, apparently, where Loki gets into an argument with Mobius about who "won" the fight between him and Sylvie at the end of the first season, and of course Mobius has to say it was Sylvie who won, while Loki gets all defensive and tries to claim it was a draw, because she's just better at everything than Loki, and Loki is an insecure, narcissistic little bitch. She's the better one. Obviously.
I heard that Loki doesn't get AS emasculated in this season as the first, but that's a pretty low bar to clear, since every other scene in the first season was him getting emasculated.
Also, it's just, every clip I've watched from this season still has Loki acting out of character. Why the hell does he RUN from the TVA agents in that scene in the hallway. He doesn't have that power repressing collar on. He should easily handle their asses. But as usual, Loki has no power when it's inconvenient for him to. And like, look, I love Tom Hiddleston. I think he's an amazing actor. But they're obviously directing him to try and be "funny", and it's lending an exaggerated, unnatural quality to his acting. It's been this way since the first season, and really since the dumpster fire that was "Ragnarok", where his movements are these over the top, exaggerated gestures, his line delivery has this forced, fake quality. His expressions look more like he's pulling faces than conveying any sort of nuanced or subtle emotion. It just feels like he's satirizing Loki instead of actually becoming Loki, and it sucks. I don't feel like I'm watching Loki, I feel like I'm just watching Tom Hiddleston acting like an idiot. Loki shouldn't be this clownish character. He can be funny, but his humor should always be understated, because Loki himself is an understated character. A master manipulator, someone who's always several steps ahead of everyone else, someone who's smarter than everyone else, someone who relies on trickery and deceit and misdirection to get what he wants done. Not this flailing around, desperate, overly emotional cry baby that they've made him into. It's unbearable to watch, and it's had a negative impact on Tom Hiddleston's acting to boot.

Ghost. - part 9: Toxic.
I suggest listening to Mery on a Cross by Ghost reading this.
Part 1 here - part 10 here .
PAIRING: TVA!LokixOC
RATING: ALL
WARNINGS: Captain America wouldn't approve the language
SUMMARY: Loki meets sombody at the TVA he once knew. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to remember him.
To solve the chaos that had erupted at the TVA and set everything right before it collapsed, a series of answers were needed, none of which anyone present had; therefore, while Loki and Mobius were busy trying to find X-5 and consequently Sylvie, Lydia was tasked with finding Renslayer and Miss Minutes. A burden that had come along with her promotion to analyst.
"We haven't found any trace of Renslayer's tempad," Lydia approached briskly, accompanied by Casey and B-15, to Mobius's desk where he and Loki were busy with X-5's tempad, "but we traced the recipient of her last message: Miss Minutes."
"Moreover, Renslayer and He Who Remains are in cahoots," Loki nodded, "I found out while I was in the past."
"What a woman... full of surprises," B-15 scoffed.
"What... are you two doing?" Lydia leaned in close to Loki. Not because she desperately wanted his proximity, especially after believing him dead, partly because of her. Absolutely not. It was to get a better look at the tempad, of course.
"We're trying to figure out how this modified tempad of X-5 works," Loki turned to her, and Lydia could hear his breath with every syllable he uttered. Not that it affected her.
"A man accustomed to using 80s technology and an alien god from Asgard?" She asked amusedly, glancing from one to the other.
"Hey, look, we're doing just fine," Mobius retorted.
"No, not really," Casey shook his head.
"I think my team could get better results," she reached out with a smirk, her hand open towards Loki, who exchanged a glance with Mobius before handing the tempad over to Lydia.
"Also, I'd like to be present when you question X-5" She passed the object to Casey.
"What?" Mobius spread his arms.
"He might have relevant information about the Minus/Renslayer issue, which is my case."
"Our case" B-15 emphasized.
"Sure" Lydia rolled her eyes, and Loki shot her a glance, amused at how she was turning work into a personal competition with Mobius, "anyway, it's a request you can't refuse, Mobius," she smiled, "it would be unprofessional."
Mobius rolled his eyes, "Am I ever going to get rid of you? How do you manage to worm your way in everywhere?"
"I'm very flexible."
Loki's imagination projected a couple of images of how flexible Lydia could be, but he pushed them back before anyone could notice.
---
"Bred is an asshole, so don't let him provoke you," Mobius had said, but it was very difficult. And Loki had just offered the opportunity to sting by saying his help was needed because there were "lives at stake."
"Lives at stake," Brad repeated. "You've got a lot of nerve... everyone here knows what you're doing, you're just trying to make up for all the terrible and horrible things you've done in life. You're pathetic."
Lydia clenched her jaw but didn't speak. Provocation, it was just provocation.
"I've read your file. You're the problem. Every time we've found one of you. You think you're special, but you're not. No matter what you wear or what lies you tell, in the end, all you do is destroy those around you," Brad glanced towards Lydia. She just looked at him with disgust before glancing at Loki, who kept his low.
"As it happened with your mother."
Lydia snapped.
"You ugly piece of shit," she managed only to take a step towards him before Loki blocked her with his body.
"You know that's what he wants," he said into her ear, "don't let him win." Lydia shifted her gaze to him and took a deep breath, trying to internalize all the calmness his blue irises conveyed.
"Don't listen to him, Princhett," Brad jeered, drawing her attention again, "what does he know about victories when all he can do is losing?"
Loki grabbed her chin, bringing her eyes back to him. Lydia swallowed and nodded slightly. She could handle it, she was fine. She was a professional.
"Stop trying to be a hero, buddy. You're a villain, and you're good at it."
Loki let her go, turning back to Brad.
"Thanks, Brad.” Loki let out a bitter laugh “Thanks a lot. I'm very touched. You're right. I've done terrible and horrible things," Lydia clenched her jaw again, to contain herself, "Yes, maybe that's who I am, they know it well. It's the real me... a loser," he smiled bitterly "I always have been and always will be."
Lydia glanced from him to Brad, trying to understand Loki's strategy.
"And perhaps I was... holding back something," he dangerously approached Brad, "maybe I was just waiting for the right moment, a moment like this, to do terrible and horrible things," he looked down at Brad, "to you."
Lydia hoped he would punch him. She really wanted to see that smug bastard's face distorted. No, it wasn't professional, but it was fair.
"So I'll ask you again: where is Sylvie?" He stressed her name.
"You're too fixated on her," Brad sneered.
"Okay, that's enough," Mobius grabbed Loki by the shoulder, pulling him towards Lydia who approached him, putting a hand on his arm. Not to stop him but to let him know she understood the discomfort he felt.
"You need a psychologist," Brad sneered, watching the scene, "I know one who does couples therapy, or maybe group therapy would be better since there are three of you."
She could have killed him. How much would it cost her? She was dead in the sacred timeline, and the TVA was about to collapse, she had nothing to lose.
"There's too much tension here," Mobius tried to lighten the mood, "Brad, cooperate with us, and we'll send you back to your beloved timeline, as if nothing ever happened. What do you say?" he offered with a smile.
"Would you?"
"Of course, I promise."
Brad let out a fake sigh before bursting into laughter, "Did you see? Damn Mobius, you should be an actor."
"I'm not, I'm an analyst."
"No, you're not!" Brad blurted out, "You're not an analyst because none of this is real. Do you know who you are at least in the timeline? The TVA isn't your real home. Do you have any idea who you've left behind? What your life could be like? You know they've taken our lives, you need to wake up."
"I'm awake."
"No, you need to wake up."
"I'm awake," Mobius repeated, this time more annoyed.
"You're asleep until you wake up, you're nothing. I'm nothing. She's nothing. I don't even know where to start," he looked at Loki, "You're nothing, and until you wake up, you're nonexistent, you're-"
Mobius jumped on him, with a speed Lydia could never have predicted, punching him square in the face.
"It's you who's nothing!"
Loki grabbed him by the shoulder, pulling him away as Mobius continued to curse.
“You heard me? You’re nothing”
Lydia followed them out, letting B-15 close the door behind them.
Mobius walked away from the room quickly, still swearing about how Brad was, in short, an asshole.
"Is he okay?" Lydia looked up at Loki who shook his head, sighing.
"I'll go see. I'll update you later; I need to ask you some things."
Shit.
Lydia nodded, smiling in his direction, before Loki ran after Mobius.
---
Lydia spent the whole afternoon at the desk, unable to work, spending hours tapping the pencil on the wood. Her head kept reminding her of how Loki had tackled her with his body. They had never been so close. They had never touched so much.
Then he had approached Brad, and the tension she had sensed before had only increased when Loki had donned the villain's mask. Could it be true that she, the one of the sacred timeline, had really fallen in love with him, as Loki had claimed? Lydia shook her head, what she had seen in the footage was a confused, delirious, and fragile Loki, while the one she had seen a little earlier exuded power.
And then there was what Brad had said. "There’s three of you."
She wasn't in anything, not with Loki and least of all with Sylvie. And even if this absurd triangle were real, was Lydia the other woman? No, it was unfair. She had known Loki first, and then he had declared himself to her, sort of. And she had rejected him... more or less. Well, not really, she had rejected the him from the past. But she had, in fact, insulted the present him.
And if this particular interest in Loki was only due to the fact that he had distanced himself? That his focuns was on someone else? Was it possible that she was that toxic?
Her brain was exploding, and after a while, her eyelids began to droop, and Lydia decided to give up, burying her head between her arms on the desk.
When he arrived, Loki found her still asleep.
He smiled, his expression softening. Lately, Lydia had returned to having a scowling expression, always serious, like the Lydia he had known on Earth, while asleep she seemed to radiate so much tranquility and peace. Maybe it was really him making everything worse, ruining everyone's lives.
Loki reached out, caressing her head, and Lydia jerked awake, opening her eyes.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
Lydia blinked for a moment, focusing on him.
"Don't worry, I wasn't sleeping," she yawned.
"No?"
"I was resting."
A chuckle escaped Loki, disappearing immediately, leaving a sad expression on his face.
"Are you okay?".
"I was thinking about Brad's words," he leaned against Lydia's desk, supporting himself with his hands, "when I met you here at the TVA, your life was going smoothly, and the same was on Earth, before I met you-"
"Loki," Lydia put a hand on his, "you shouldn't give weight to what Brad said; he was trying to provoke us. He knows our stories and what can hurt us, and he uses it to his advantage."
Loki covered her hand with his other one and looked at her, smiling faintly. With Lydia, he felt like he had someone on his side, not alone, but he had felt this before, and in the end, it had been just a deception.
"How did you know... about my mother?"
Shit. She knew that question was coming. The horrible put-down Brad had said to Loki, she was not supposed to understand what it was referred to.
Lydia widened her eyes, withdrew her hand from Loki's, clutching it with the other and lowering her gaze.
"When I thought you were dead, I felt very guilty and... well, you could say I missed you... I wanted to see you, and the only thing I had of yours was the file," her cheeks colored slightly red, and if she had raised her gaze, she would have seen the same embarrassed expression on Loki's face, "I know it was a terrible invasion of your privacy... I’m sorry about that" she timidly raised her eyes towards him.
"It's okay" Loki shook his head, "in fact, maybe I'm glad... that you've seen the real me."
"There's no real you, Loki. There's only you, here and now. Ignore Brad, please, he's just an asshole, one who looks through the keyhole, sees brown, and thinks it's chocolate when it's just shit."
He laughed, nodding.
"By the way, any news? How's Mobius?"
"He's okay, for now... I think," Loki swallowed, "as for Brad, he confessed to knowing where Sylvie is."
Lydia clenched her jaw, nodding.
"We need her, Lydia. When I was in the future, I saw the TVA collapsing, and she was there. She must know something" he leaned towards her.
"I didn't say anything" she vaguely said, keeping her gaze low.
"I know you didn't exactly start off on the right foot, you two, but there's no room for likes or dislikes here."
"Where is she?" Lydia looked up at him.
"In a McDonald's in Oklahoma, on Earth," Loki paused for a moment, "Do you want to come?"
"I don't think I'd be very useful" Lydia shook her head, "but I have a request."
"Anything."
They looked at each other for a second that seemed endless and yet too short.
"A milkshake" she said after a moment, "strawberry flavored."
"I think I can do that."
---
But when Loki appeared in the control room upon later that day, he didn't have any disgustingly sweet strawberry milkshake; instead, he brought something much more indigestible for Lydia. Sylvie.
Guys, thanks a lot for the support you've shown me, again feel free to leave a heart, a comment or to reblog, this really helps a lot. I had reached a point were I thought this ff was completed. I changed my mind and hopefully we'll have an happy ending. Actually, I've really no idea how it'll end. I'm but an humble narrator of other's adventures.

i have to rant about this or i might cease to exist.
lokius...
for one, i love queer ships (canon or not) but i also like to stay true to the show i’m watching, and i personally don’t have a big problem with sylki (just a little underwhelmed with it if i’m being honest). but the more i look at loki and mobius’ relationship, the clues and that damn song, the more it feels actually plausible that this could turn into something real.
i’m going to somewhat rank these from 1 downward, 1 being its probably coincidental, down to this is too spot on to be nothing. all while i sip leisurely at my tea.
1. “i’ve studied almost every moment of your life..”
it kind of speaks for itself. its a pretty simple bit of dialogue, and most likely doesn’t mean all that much, but what is mobius’ fascination with loki variants? this is higher on the list mainly because mobius has been assigned this case, he's a detective and its his job to dig deep, he's consumed by his work, therefore it isn't strange for him to know so much about loki's life on the sacred timeline.
2. the tie adjustment scene
trust me, i'd love to put this lower on the list, but theres one thing that makes me believe this is-- albeit disappointingly-- a coincidence. it was improv. maybe that, for some people, is more of an indicator of canon lokius, that tom hiddleston felt that that scene was being led in such a flirtatious direction, however, this scene was more his following along owen's playful presence on set, which just makes it kind of sweet. but this is one of my favourites scenes, regardless of the intention behind it. loki will always be a flirt, after all.
3. loki's bisexuality
as much as i would have loved to see more on loki's sexuality-- perhaps slightly more explicitly given his status as the god of mischief-- i'm not going to hate on sylvie and loki, because that would simply erase the existence of bisexuality, hetero-presenting relationships exist and to deny so would again, erase the meaning of bisexuality. however, the ending of season 1 does raise some questions. loki and sylvie's separation sets up the future of marvel, it needed to happen, so this might not mean much at all and we now know that season 2 will focus on loki searching for sylvie through timelines. but how purely queer would it be for loki to realise some stronger feelings toward one agent mobius, and perhaps loki and sylvie's relationship was something that was meant to stay platonic, who knows? this is considerably more fanon than my other theories, but i had to include it, given that to me, its a reasonable arguement. lgbtq+ characters need to be introduced and this was kate herron's goal from the beginning. she also said that she hoped marvel went further with this new information and explored more thoroughly. forgive me for this more outlandish inclusion, but it has been on mind for awhile now.
4. the presence of the dagger / "love is a dagger..."
we all know this one, we've all screamed over it and we all hope it means something more than just a coincidence. with marvel's history of in-depth attention to detail (comic references, foreshadowing years prior to a movie's release), it feels a little too purposeful, doesn't it? again, i'm trying to keep rank these into something somewhat believable with viable evidence, so something i will mention is that loki has lacked any close friendships his whole life. gaining a relationship like this would hold deep value to him, and parting ways would likely pull forth some deep bittersweet emotions. platonic love is arguably more important than romantic, the need to be understood without judgement and that is what both mobius and loki have given each other. the tears in loki's eyes during this scene is a clear indicator of their care for each other, but whether that goes deeper is unclear.
Tumblr media
my thoughts fluctuate on this one. for one, its simply so beautiful and meaningful to loki's development (and mobius') that whether its meant platonic or with an underlying romance, feels like it hardly matters, because it holds as much meaning either way. "love is a dagger", it appears in so many forms throughout the series: mobius giving loki his daggers, only for them to be taken away by B-15 a second later, this hug scene and loki and sylvie's fight in the citadel. its so prominent in this scene, its hard to dismiss, yet marvel fluctuates so much with their details that its hard to tell if this was intended the way i'm seeing. regardless, its beautiful and definitely a worthy inclusion.
5. the lokius song / mobius' apparent jealousy
lets get one thing straight, natalie holt is an amazing composer and i will back that to no end with my spotify wrapped this year, trust me on this. so when i first started listening through the second album, like a true neurodivergent kid, i was memorising every song name and i have to say, i lost it a little when i saw the name of this song. natalie confirmed that sif and loki had a 'thing' during the point that the time loop scene was set, so one cannot dismiss the possibility that she could know a little more about the prior scenes than we realise. i was skeptical when i first saw people's impressions of these scenes, after all, they had all reunited after loki technically betrayed mobius, so it was understandable that mobius wouldn't exactly be pleased with the circumstances that they're meeting again. but something about the way he looks at loki and sylvie when he's leading them down the hall, he just looks kind of heartbroken and disappointed. again, this could have been the result of loki's betrayal, if the way he calls him a bad friend is anything to go by, but the substance of this scene holds so much in it. and his little rant about loki and sylvie's "twisted romantic relationship" breaking his reality, hits a little hard. maybe this wouldn't have meant much if it hadn't been with that bloody song, because tell how just an angry, hurt mobius = lokius? it can be jealousy regardless of romantic feelings, friendships feel it too, but this feel a little more substantial.
worthy inclusions:
sylvie's "he cares about you" comment in the void, and loki's near dismissal of it.
loki falling asleep in the archives, he trusts mobius.
am i the only one that finds it cute how loki hangs out at mobius' desk while mobius is off doing other work?
conclusion:
look, i'm going to be honest here, i grow sceptical of my own arguments at times. these are very minor things, and i didn't even realise they were pushing loki and sylvie in the direction they were until they kiss (in other words, i'm a little oblivious), so i want you all to take this with a grain of salt. i like to stay true to the actual characters and their makers, i don't have unrealistic expectations and i am no director, actor or screenwriter. i am not saying how i think the next season should go, i just wish it could go to in this direction to some degree. i have my doubts, but my hopes too. regardless, i'm just happy to see these characters at all!
this is what so many seem to forget. there may be restrictions (cough cough disney), but everyone working on these shows and movies have put their hearts into it and i want to appreciate that for what it is! this doesn't mean you aren't entitled to your own opinion, of course you are! but just remember the show/characters you've fallen in love with and if you didn't have them at all. i'm overjoyed to see loki with a close friendship after so many years of watching him being proverbially kicked while he was down. ultimately, loki and mobius' friendship (and possible romance) is what technically saved loki and that's something beautiful in and of itself.
I don't think its impossible! but i keep an open mind for both directions their stories could take.

So I never really commented on the "Loki" show on here very much, even though I watched it, for a few reasons.
I found the first season visually beautiful but spiritually hollow and ultimately uninteresting. My connection to Loki was through his story as an Asgardian, his relationship with Thor and Odin and the others. I was prepared for the possibility that the show would focus elsewhere, by necessity, but I was always facing a similar uphill battle to liking it as I did the Winter Soldier show: the relationships I wanted to see more of (Steve/Bucky, Thor & Loki) weren't going to be there in favor of new side characters and my heart just wasn't really in it. But I gave it a chance.
The bigger issue was this: I fucking hate magical policing agencies as a plot point. Corporate organizations tasked to control time, or magic, or stop normal people from learning about magic, blah blah blah, I hate them. I find them immensely boring. Part of it is because I tried to write one once for NaNo in college! I understand the appeal! But they are just deeply, deeply boring to me as a concept. They are overplayed and tired and dull. Loki's TVA would have to have been something truly exceptional to win me over and then it was the whole point of the show and it wasn't exceptional, just the trope played straight and I just... wilted with disinterest.
I also hate mid-20th century aesthetics. Truly despise them. I hate the orange decor and the brown suits and the atomic era gigantic room-sized computers. It's kitchys and awful and I loathe it with my entire being. It repels me. So when the TVA had that aesthetic and the TVA was core to a story about a Norse god, you can perhaps begin to see the problem.
I loved Sylvie's actress. I loved the idea of Sylvie. I loathed the Sylvie plotline. Why don't we know more about what her life was like as a Loki? Did she have a relationship to the Asgardians ever? Why aren't Loki and Sylvie being constantly teased for being narcissists at best and incestuous at worst if they show any interest in each other? I loathed that romance, I found it gross and hollow and uninteresting and cheap. I was so glad when S2 seemed to drop interest in it.
Look, at a certain point, I just accepted that I'm not the target audience. It wasn't the Loki show I was hoping for, something more akin to Journey into Mystery for example. It barely acknowledged Loki's mythological roots, his actual magical abilities which on numerous occasions would have far outclassed the threats they faced with weird TVA technology, and just... look, it wasn't for me, a mythology buff. I just didn't like it or what it was going for.
This isn't to say it was bad! Just that it was absolutely stacked against my personal tastes in its aesthetic and story choices about 3/4 of the time.
But I did watch the whole thing. And I loved the visuals of the ending sequence in S2.
I hope this means if Loki returns, the door is open for a more magical, mythologically informed Loki. I hope he returns! I hope that just being on his magical time throne doesn't mean he's stuck there but that either his variants, or his ghost, or him puppeting his own variants or whatever can continue to interact with the timeline. I think it's such a magical mystical set up that it's very likely to be possible. it's magic! They can do anything!
But for the love of all the Norse gods, if I never see that hideous cliche TVA again it will be too soon. Sorry, Mobius, you were fun and charming and I loved seeing what the Lokius shippers cooked up, but I hate your work place so much it made me want to claw my own eyes out.

I actually didn't even bother watching the second season of Loki because of the cheap marketing and inconsistent storytelling.
It just felt like the plot was lifted off somewhere it would have made sense, and a character with a similar ego was replaced with Loki and goes through an arc that might have made sense for a blank slate character, but not someone who already has a backstory.
Loki doesn't even feel like Loki after three episodes in S1. The whole point of having a show like that just seems to be about the TVA and Sylvie.
Also the whole genderfluid thing. They 'confirmed' it in the promo and had a line in the script that went completely against anything they just said.
I knew at once that the writers, directors and other parts of production were really just pulling it in different directions and it would probably sound like a jazz trumpeter and a metal guitarist trying to improvise after knowing each other for 15 minutes.
I've been meaning to watch it just so I can have educated opinions on all of it but it's just,, so hard to get into. I definitely agree the marketing was cheap, they did with the 80s McDonald's like they did DB Cooper!Loki and made it centric to the advertising because McDonalds was also getting something out of it which is kinda ass seeing as realistically Loki Laufeyson would burn 6 of them down before he ate in one 😭
I personally don't like either of the major ships in the show but the forced Sylki shit in season 1 really got to me. Like not only did she completely replace him as the main character in HIS show, she's also a variant of him who he wants to make out with and overall it just reads as lazy writing and it's extremely disappointing that Mike Waldron has been put in charge of Multiverse of Madness and The Kang Dynasty since, due to the popularity of the Loki TV show. I was talking to my boyfriend about this last night but it kinda reminds me of the complaints people had ab the last Indiana Jones movie but opposite? Like everyone complained his best friend's daughter was gonna replace him bc she's a Mary Sue and she rlly isnt, she's more reminiscent of Marion in Raiders of the Lost Ark she just doesn't wanna fuck him. But the difference is Indy is a character who's majorly blank for little boys to project themselves onto. Which is great!! It works for those kind of movies, but they're not character development centric like the individual mcu movies tend to be. Loki is characterized in a way that he's drowning in identity issues and family problems and he experiences growth in every installment whether it be positive or negative. It doesn't make sense to take the formula of an Indidna Jones movie where he meets up with a woman who's typically a love interest and has her own issues that are only slightly touched on because that's not the focus, and they go do the plot.
Sylvie is not an Indy Girl, they straight up are trying to replace Loki with Sylvie. And you can tell the character wasn't supposed to have as much importance as she does in the show bc the character was worked on more after the actress they chose was buddies with a producer ( and this is no hate to the actress I'm sure she's delightful everything I've seen her in in terms of interviews has been lovely ).
I also absolutely agree they should've just made a tva mini series to introduce the tva rather than bringing back a dead character who soon will not make much sense anyway because Tom Hiddleston is getting older (and also he deserves to branch out in his career).
The genderfluid thing was a cash grab and it sucks ass, they just want money for acknowledging things already canon in the comics, same with confirming him as bisexual.
My boyfriend is actually writing a fic on ao3 called Find Me that's rlly good if you want Loki content that isn't related to the show.
(YES this is shameless promotion sshhhhshshsh) but fr the loki TV show makes me more confident in my screenwriting bc t h a t got put on disney plus. I'm also working on a Loki show rewrite in my spare time!!

Your clarification definitely helps. I've followed you a while and love most of your content but I have had the impression generally you don't like Sylki so I've blacklisted your anti Sylki stuff. I also know people have unfollowed because of perceived anti sylki stuff and I think in the end it's the fatigue of seeing how aggressive fandom has been about it. In my tiny window I never see anti Lokius. I like Lokius but some members of fandom actually put me off it. I'm sorry it's been impacting without you intending to have a side! Hopefully more people can enjoy your Sylvie content too.
I will tell you a secret. I personally don’t even really care about Sylki that much. I just make the anti jokes because I think they’re funny, you know? if people don’t like that and want to unfollow, that’s completely fine by me
it’s also funny that you have the experience of never seeing anti-Lokius, while I have actually unfollowed and blocked Sylki shippers a couple of times, because they were so overly aggressive about the pairing and being anti-Lokius is a part of their brand.
… actually that’s not funny at all, is it? just means both sides contain some real assholes, you can’t escape it, and “ship and let ship” is truly dead
I personally feel very content shipping sylkius, because it solves the entire problem. more people should do it, it’s great!

I've been rewatching season 2 and I'm on ep 3, the part where Sylvie shows up and says 'when you showed up out of nowhere to ruin my life' to Loki and it got me thinking because I think this line is actually more significant and telling than it first seems. Firstly there is the 'out of nowhere' part, meaning suddenly or unexpectedly. Which I actually think is kind of sad because it tells us that Sylvie either, never expected Loki to show up after their fight at the citadel because he would be too hurt or angry, or that enough time passed for her that she gave up hoping he would show up and so when he did it felt sudden and unexpected.
Then there's the second half, the 'to ruin my life' part. I kept wondering why Sylvie would feel like Loki merely showing up would ruin her life. Like if she really had moved on from Loki, didn't care about him anymore and was happy in her new life then him showing up and asking for help and her saying nope I'm good, shouldn't have ruined her life. So my theory is that the reason she felt like him showing up had ruined her life was because she knew that once she saw him again she wouldn't be able to walk away from him and that timeline saving, adventurous lifestyle that comes along with him, so easily. She could convince herself that she was happy with her normal, mundane life before, but once she sees him again its like an illusion that's pulled down and she realises she can't really walk away from him, she can't just walk away from the problem with the loom and risk the branches. As vocal as she is about not wanting to help she still does. I also think this is why in her last scene of the season, after Loki's sacrifice, when Mobius asked her what she's going to do now instead of saying she is going to go back to her branch, she shrugs, because she doesn't know what to do now. She knows she can't go back to living that normal life on her branch, not after seeing Loki again and not after everything that has happened. But she also is without Loki so she's feeling lost and unsure. That's my take on it anyway.

I Love Love LOVE your blog it’s so Yuriy-licous !!! 😍❤️‍🔥😍❤️‍🔥😍❤️‍🔥 Tysm for the fabulous writing that you contribute to towards the Otis fandom !!
I have a request but I’m not quite sure how to explain so I hope you understood what I can’t even understand lol.
Otis x fem, She’s the new paramedic her and Otis have an instant chemistry she’s flattered by his crush on her until she realises that he had a crush on Sylvie Brett as well, Now she’s wondering whether she’s the rebound and if she’s as special as she originally thought she was… Idk if that makes sense at all !! Angst with fluffy ending pls.
“Do you want to buy me a drink? No.” Pt. 1
brian zvonecek x fem!reader
a/n: THANK YOU FOR UR REQUEST ANON I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. i rlly hope i picked up what you were putting down because the second i read this request, i was like “immediately yes.” the way i just resonate with how y/n is planned to behave in this bc it’s how i as a person would behave in this situation is probably a red flag but oh well. i really loved this request and i appreciate your love so much, it makes my heart so happy 🥹🤎. Also I want to apologize for how long it’s taken me to fully write this the way it deserves to be written. I’ve been so busy this last week, but it’s here now so yay! (Part 2 will be out soon pls don’t hate me!)
warnings: angst, fluff, swearing, alcohol, anything i missed.
it’s giving… yuriy-licious. i’m so using that term for the rest of my life.
Tumblr media
“That should be all for today folks, get out there do your job and do it good…” Boden finished his morning briefing and as everyone was halfway out the door he stopped them, “Wait, before everyone leaves I just remembered we’re going to have a relief paramedic under Brett as we’re looking for a permanent replacement. He’ll be here…” Boden quickly looked down at his watch to double check the time, “in about an hour. Dawson can assist you until then.”
Sylvie met Boden with a quick frown as she was probably going to be stuck with Chout for the next 24 hours. She then erased the disappointment off her face and gave a small smile to Dawson who’d she be lucky to have working as her partner, even if it was for just an hour of their shift.
“I wonder how many paramedics we’re gonna have paired with Sylvie before Chief Hatcher realizes it’s probably her that’s the problem.” Cruz says in a teasing tone as everyone makes their way into the common room.
Sylvie just rolled her eyes in response lightly punching him in the arm causing a giant reaction from Cruz.
“See! Abuse! Abuse to co-worker right there!” He said walking off and laughing with Brett making Otis’ stomach twist. Despite her rejecting him, he still couldn’t help the feelings he has for her. Otis ended up making his way straight to the bunk room to sulk until the end of shift. Like he would every shift, for the rest of his career.
Exactly one hour later you showed up. Your hair was pulled back into a low braid and you sported the very sexy navy blue cargo pants and just a CFD paramedic quarter zip. Annoyed that you had to be there you took a breath to relax. It’s not their fault that Chout had called in sick last minute causing you to be the backup to the backup, so don’t take it out on them.
Walking into their common room you realized you had no clue where anything was.
“Does anyone know where Chief Boden’s office is?” You ask the group of people scattered throughout the room, and you’re met with silence.
You didn’t want to yell to get their attention like you would at the childish men at house 27. You were like their mother, you wouldn’t put up with any childish or immature bullshit and in return your guys would treat you like any other person. This is because the one time they tried to disrespect you after you called a guy out for being a slob, he tried to grab your ass to which he met your fist with his eye.
Taking a deep breath, you bite your upper lip as you think of which hallway to take. Finally deciding you turn to start walking in which you’re met with running into someone and dropping your stuff everywhere.
You didn’t even look up to see who you ran into before you went to bend down and grab your stuff, guessing whoever you bumped into did that same thing because you both went down at the same time smacking your foreheads off of one another.
“Shit ow.” you both say at the same time groaning in pain for a few seconds before either of you decide to actually get up.
“I’m so sorry, are you okay? I wasn’t watching where I was going and I just ran into you, are you okay? I’m so sorry-” He starts rambling as he hands you your now gathered stuff and you give a brief smile. The second you guys make eye contact it was like the movies. As if time itself had stopped. Unsure what to do because you’ve never felt this before, you scramble to get out of this situation.
“You’re good I wasn’t watching out either.” You say taking your stuff from his hands standing in the now awkward silence for a few seconds as you form a tight line with your lips.
“Your forehead. That was my fault, do you want an ice pack? Tylenol? I’m so sorry again,” He says starting to ramble again causing you to chuckle.
No guy that has ever bumped into you has ever been this worried about your wellbeing. No guy in general has ever been this worried about your wellbeing. As you’re looking up at the guy you ran into you noticed his dark curly hair, and mustache. You’ve always had a thing for mustaches.
“I promise I’m fine.” You say trying to reassure him.
“That’s good. You look new though, and a little lost, are you looking for someone? Something?” He asks causing you to chuckle once again. This guy is just on a roll for firsts. Is this a dream? A guy who is your exact type knows how to make a hell of a first impression that’s for sure.
“I was um, looking for Chief Boden’s office, would you by chance be able to show me where that is?” You ask knowing he would but just trying to be polite.
“Y-yes of course,” But before you guys could start walking a very pretty blonde ran up to you guys.
“Hey are you the relief medic?” She asks out of breath.
“I am,” you say a little confused.
“That’s great, I’m Sylvie, Sylvie Brett. I’ll be your partner today. Sorry I wasn’t here sooner I just got back from a call.”
“No that’s perfect, I was just a little lost. I’m Y/N by the way,” You say extending your hand so she can shake it.
“Well, i’ll um see you around?” mystery mustache guy says excusing himself from the conversation
“Yeah, see you, then?” You blurt out extremely awkwardly internally face palming immediately. Earning a knowing look from Sylvie.
“Ready for the tour? I think you’re really gonna like it here!” She says a little too cheery hoping later on she’ll drop the act and be normal.
“Yeah, thanks.” You respond also hoping she forgets whatever she just saw between you and mustache.
You and Sylvie make your way back into the common room after a few calls and spending half the day together. She was a really good partner, and friend. It definitely beats working with McAuley.
“So who’s this? We never got a proper introduction.” Mouch asked as he was flipping a page in his newspaper.
“Oh yeah, guys this is Y/N, Y/N this is house 51, and just to let everyone know Boden just told us that she’s going to be here for the next few shifts so make her feel at home.” Sylvie says threatening everyone and walking into the kitchen.
You smiled shyly at the group scattered through the room and you walk over to take a seat at the table but before you’re able to, the guy from earlier pulls out the chair for you to sit in.
“M’Lady” He says bowing making you slightly cringe but giggle at the same time because it was pretty cute.
“Thank you…” You start to respond but trail off as you realize you don’t know his name.
“Uh, Brian- or Otis. Yeah Otis I guess.” He says pushing you in and taking a seat next to you.
“So is Otis a nickname?” You ask curiously.
“Um yeah, I’m the elevator guy on truck so,”
“So you’re nicknamed after Elisha Otis? Wow that’s clever. I would’ve never guessed.” You say back intrigued shocking him because no one has ever guessed that before.
“You know a lot about elevators?” He asks still shocked.
“I know a bit, I had a little hyper fixation on it when I was like 12. Lame right?” You say chuckling but stop when you see he’s not laughing.
“What? Do I have something on my face?” You ask wiping the corners of your mouth.
“No it’s just…I think i’m in love with you.” He blurts out making you blush.
“Over knowing a few elevator facts? You might want to look into raising the bar of your standards. I mean at least buy me a drink first.” You say nervously chuckling because as you think about it, you didn’t make a conscious decision to basically ask him to invite you out to a drink but you’re not opposed to it?
“Well that’s convenient since I co-own a bar.” He says nonchalantly making your jaw drop.
“So i’m going to need a list of things you can’t do.” You say sarcastically hoping he picked up on the joke.
“Very funny. There’s no such thing.”
Smiling at the friendly banter you guys have going on, you circle the conversation back to what you know most.
“So you don’t like your nickname?” You ask genuinely curious, because it was a clever nickname.
“Psh, no. My name is Brian Zvonecek, Otis has ruined me.”
“Well Brian Zvonecek, what do you want me to call you?” You ask a little more flirtatiously than you originally intended.
“W-well, actually um, I mean, I think uh,” Brian begins to stumble over his words before aggressively exhaling through his nose and gathering his thoughts,
“I think, I don’t care about what you say when you talk.” He tries to flirt back causing you to raise your eyebrows in amusement. What the hell did he just say?
“T-that came out wrong. I meant,” He tries to fix what he says blushing extremely causing you to start cackling.
“Okay Brian Zvonecek, I’ll just call you Brian. Does that work?” You ask after catching your breath.
Otis now sitting lower in his chair extremely embarrassed mutters an awkward, “perfect.” making you giggle again.
It makes your stomach do summer salts as you think of how flustered he gets around you. It’s shocking how much he seems to like you already, and you know you’ve only known him for a day but you’re starting to think he might have a small crush on you, and honestly? You wouldn’t be opposed to liking him back. He’s cute, he’s like a nervous puppy dog but you know once you guys get to know each other better he’s going to warm up to you.
Wanting to clear up some awkward silence you know Brian wouldn’t be able to fix, you turn to look at him who is already looking at you making you blush even more but you start talking anyway,
“Brian?”
“Yeah?”
“Are you gonna buy me that drink?”
“No”
“Oh”
“We can drink for free.”
At his words your body surges with excitement. So does he want to go out with you? Or is this just a pity thing? Things have never moved this fast with a guy that you’ve met that day. Is he the one? Would you guys get married? You feel so happy right now but you need to snap back to reality.
“Are you free after shift?” He asks a little more nervous than before making you literally want to stand up and kiss his luscious lips.
“I am.” You say back not knowing how discrete you’re being with your feelings.
“Well if you want, you could stop by Molly’s and see everyone.” Brian says making your heart drop. See everyone. Not just him.
“a-and me. Since I’ll be working.” He finally adds on bringing your heart right back up.
“I’ll be there.” You say already planning your outfit in your head.

I was already scared about the next Captain America movie, but now realizing that Sam hasn't even been mentioned in like 4 years when HE IS CAPTAIN AMERICA,, now I'm terrified. I don't want them to destroy another of my favorite characters, we suffered enough with Loki Wanda and Stephen's bastardization. Sam is such a good man and deserves so much more
also kinda out of topic, did they seriously made Carter say that shit about little girls in Russia?? When Natasha exists???? It's way too specific, like a jab at Natasha for ??? some fucking reason I guess
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately, yes, they said this in the episode:
Tumblr media
Why? No fucking reason, that's why.
She has no story and no arc of her own, so the writers need to claim everybody loves her and admires her in order to convince the audience to fall for her. You know, like Sylvie in the Loki series. These writers don't care about these women, they do the bare minimum and then count on the fans to shout "misogyny!" at those of us who complain about their terrible work with them.
It's a vicious cycle but some fans think kissing the ass of every female character = feminism, when in truth what they're doing is kissing the ass of the same writers who can't be arsed to write those women well. They're not kissing the ass of a fictional woman who doesn't exist, they're looking at those writers and telling them "you don't care about female characters and we love you for it" and calling that feminism. It's bonkers.
Other female characters in Marvel deserve this much attention if not more. Why not give it to them? Hell, I'm pretty sure we would all love to see Layla again, for instance. What about Sharon? Or Maria Hill. I wouldn't mind a What If with Carol or Valkyrie or more Wanda...
I'm definitely worried about Sam too, especially when it's Spellman (same guy as TFATWS) the one writing him. He was never given too much focus but at least the movies gave us enough that we could see he's a good man. The problem is I don't know if we're going to get something akin to TWS (so, the focus on Sam and some supporting characters showing up occasionally) or another CW (a team-up movie where the title character is sidelined.).
Sam was given the shield in 2019. It's 2024 already. And no cameos, no mention of him, nothing. When Steve was part of the franchise non-stop for a decade.

The “cathedral at the end of time” is not actually outside of time
Here’s why
Time is what stops everything from happening all at once. The timeline is sorta like a YouTube video. It has a start and a finish, but it never really stops. You can go back and rewatch it as many times as you like. If the sacred timeline actually had a set “present” that would mean there would be no timeline, and once the present reached the end of all time, the timeline would just stop. Thus, completely ruining the point of a timeline. If the Cathedral at the End of Time was really outside of time, everything inside it would happen all at once. But it doesn’t, so clearly the cathedral follows some sort of time path/has a timeline. In fact, it either
has its own branch of time/seperate timeline on which it operates, and Loki and Sylvie managed to get to it, or
It operates on the sacred timeline, which I think makes more sense, because He Who Remains said that the timeline follows a path, and that he knows what happens in the future (to an extent). Now I can only assume what he means by “seeing the future” is “seeing the future of the sacred timeline” because, well, that’s pretty much the only future that wasn’t getting pruned at the time. And he saw the future of what would happen inside the cathedral, which means the cathedral is probably on the sacred timeline.
Now, to tackle another problem/loophole in the Loki series: they can see the timeline. As in, see the timeline as a physical thing. Part of the whole point of the timeline is that it is a time, not a space. From a window in the TVA, you can see the timeline, hell, they even shot a harpoon rope thing into it to pull Loki out of it. That’s?? What???
In fact, this causes a number of problems regarding the TVA too. While Mobius said that time worked differently in the TVA, not that the TVA was outside time, it is clearly not on the sacred timeline, because from the TVA, you can see the sacred timeline. In fact, you can also see the sacred timeline from the Cathedral at the End of Time, which I already said was probably part of the sacred timeline. So that means it’s not part of the sacred timeline, and must be its own branch, or even seperate timeline. But the whole point of the He Who Remains was to avoid more than one timeline!
So, to conclude, I have explored and deconstructed the Loki TV show, answering none of my original questions, and have simultaneously deeply confused myself. And probably you. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Landing in Porto was a huge relief. You had never taken such a long flight before. Your Wife had reassured you throughout the whole thing that she was going to be right there the whole time. She limited her bathroom breaks to make sure she was with you as much as possible to soothe your anxieties. She told you about how exciting it would be once you landed and got to start your fiveish day-long honeymoon.
You had both gone back and forth over where you wanted the honeymoon to take place until you decided on the slow paced city of Portugal. Natasha had found an airbnb overlooking the beach. The sites you had checked told you of the beautiful beach, the amazing culture and tasteful wineries.
You hadn’t had a problem getting to your residency for the week. The cab ride over was spent staring out the windows. Occasionally one of you would mention something you saw and might like to do. Natasha made a list on her phone so you could go and look back at it later on. The both of you took the night to enjoy dinner at a beautiful restaurant before walking along the beach.
As the night got colder you convinced your wife to get back to the airbnb. She was quick to agree when you told her what you were wearing under your clothes. She all but dragged you down the beach as your laughter filled the night air. She never failed to make you feel amazing.
The first full day there was spent going out shopping to grab some souvenirs for yourselves and all the people back home. Then you went to a local market for food for the week. A winery made its way into your plans as you passed it. Noting it in the list to go back later after taking your food back. You spent hours at the beach before finally heading to the winery for dinner and a tasting.
You enjoyed the night spent listening to the live band sipping on the different wines. Natasha had convinced you to dance with her at some point. You both swirled and twirled across the makeshift dance floor with the other couples both young and old. As a slow song came on she wrapped you in her arms and hummed along to the melody. You would never get sick of the feeling of being so close to her.
The next morning you were awoken to the smell of breakfast and coffee. You got up pulling on a shirt from the floor before padding out to the kitchen. You saw your wife standing at the stove flipping a piece of french toast in a pan before moving to cut up some fruit. You wrapped your arms around her middle resting your head against her shirt covered back. You both hummed at the contact with one another.
Breakfast went quickly as you had barely been able to keep your hands off of her. She had moaned as you swiped your thumb across the corner of her lip gathering some whipped cream that had missed her mouth. You sucked your thumb into your own mouth licking the cream off of it. Your eyes remained on hers at the action and she was quickly throwing you over her shoulder and taking you to bed. She grabbed the can of whipped cream and bowl of strawberries that were sitting on the table as she went.
“We’re gonna have some fun.” she said as she gently placed you on the bed. Your eyes lit up as you spotted the food in her hand. She tugged your shirt off your body before requesting you to lay down. Then she got to work dragging a berry across your skin and lapping up the sticky juices with her tongue. She had you writhing beneath her as she circled your nipples with the fruit. The cold sensation making your nipples harden even more than they already were. As the teasing continued you begged her to touch you. She replied by popping a berry into your mouth. You chewed it slowly as you saw her leaving a line of whipped cream from in between your breasts down towards your cunt stopping right before it.
You shuddered as she licked from the bottom of the line up towards your breasts. You connected your lips to hers the flavors of strawberry and whipped cream clashing together as your tongues fought for dominance. Her’s won as it usually did. You slipped your hands under her shirt grasping at her breasts kneading them in your palms. She ground her hips down at the action moaning into your mouth.
“Want you to sit on my face.” you begged her as you pulled back for air.
“Is that what you want, baby girl?” she asked you teasingly as she ran a finger between your breasts.
“Please, sweetheart. I really want to taste you.” you begged her again as the thought of her slick on your tongue blurred your mind. She seemed satisfied with that because she was working her way up your body before she was hovering above your face. You pulled her down brushing your nose across her clit briefly.
Then you were devouring her. You lapped at her hungrily, desperate to pull an orgasm from her. Your legs were clenching together tightly looking for friction. She moaned loudly and slipped her fingers into your hair. She started rocking her hips against your face languidly as her orgasm quickly approached her. She had never been with anyone before that could get her to the edge so quickly.
“You’re taking such good care of me. My beautiful, devoted Wife.” the praise had you moaning into her cunt, your cunt dripping onto the sheets below you. She clenched around your tongue as it harshly darted inside her. Her hand that wasn’t in your hair came up to toy with her nipple as she teetered on the presipe of ecstasy. Her head was thrown back as her orgasm waved through her. She slowed her hips until they were completely still. She climbed off you carefully, a groaning leaving her chest as she saw the evidence of her climax coating your face. You gave her a pleased grin as you licked your lips. You wanted to taste every last drop of her.
“My turn.” she said simply before she worked your legs open and ran a finger along your folds. She circled over your clit with that same finger once before she was following it with her tongue. Where your tongue was frenzied and sloppy hers was slow and precise.
She licked at you calmly, wanting to drag out your orgasm. You were already close and she knew that. One of your biggest turn ons was having her cum as she rode your face. So she knew that you were likely to cum within a couple of minutes. But she wanted to try to prolong it slightly.
Your left leg came up to rest against her back nudging her impossibly closer to your cunt. You moaned as she lightly sucked your clit between her lips. She was addicted to the way you sounded.
“Sweetheart.” you breathless moaned into the air, turning your head to try and dig into the pillow.
She looked up at you from her spot between your legs. She could see your hardened nipples and the way you were struggling to hold back your orgasm. But you knew better than to cum without her permission. She tested you though as she sucked on your clit again. Your other leg came up to squeeze against her head. That was the last sign she needed to know you were right where she wanted you.
As she gave your leg a squeeze with her hand you came undone. That rubberband of tension snapping as your hands gripped at the sheets and your toes curled. You let out a whine as she continued to lick and suck at your clit. As she pulled back she took in the sight of you laying on the bed. The image was something she wanted to ingrain in her mind for eternity. The rest of the day was spent giving each other countless orgasms until neither of you could move much.
Thursday was your only pre planned day there. Going out on a boat to look for whales and dolphins and such. You had at one point stopped to participate in scuba diving. You took in the sight of life under the water. You spent the night indoors eating pasta that you had made for dinner, drinking a couple of glasses of wine. Before the night ended in your tangled up bodies in the sheets once again. The bliss of being newlyweds was all consuming.
Friday was your last full day there and you had decided to make the most of it. You spent your time crossing off things from your list. Sightseeing a few local places, eating at restaurants that caught your eye, going shopping along the vendor strip. You stopped and danced here and there when there was someone playing an instrument in the streets. As the sun began to set on the water you found yourselves sitting in the sand.
The night had started to become cold and you were close to asking Natasha to go back to the house until she abruptly stood up. You looked at her questioningly. The look she had in her eyes was one of mischief and you knew nothing good was to come of it.
“What do you want to do?” you asked her accusingly.
“I want to go swimming.” She said with a toothy grin.
“Nat we don’t even have our swimsuits on or any towels.” You said as you shook your head.
“Let's go skinny dipping.” You could hear the excitement in her voice. You groaned at the idea of getting out of your sweater and jeans to slip into the cold water.
“No fucking way am I getting into that water right now. It’s way too cold out.” You told her sternly.
“Please baby girl. I promise we can get out if it gets too cold. Plus there’s no one around right now so this is the perfect time.” glancing around the beach you saw that she was right. There wasn’t a person in sight.
“Fine.” you said as you stood up and started stripping your clothes off. She did the same as she squealed in excitement.
Then you were running into the water, not wanting anyone to see you naked. You wrapped your arms around your wife as you both went neck deep into the water. Your naked bodies slid against each other as the cold water chilled your form. But Natasha looked happy so you dealt with it. You decided to stare up at the sky taking in the stars and the moon.
“Are you ready to get out baby girl?” Natasha’s voice cut through the silence of the night. You hadn’t realized your teeth were slightly chattering until she spoke.
“Yes please.” you told her and she was holding your hand leading you back to shore. The both of you got dressed quickly before slowly walking back to the house hand in hand. As you laid in bed that night freshly showered you thought about the future you had to look forward to with the brunette laid beside you. Even though you were sad for your time in the country to be brought to a close you couldn’t wait to get back home and make a lifetime of memories with her.
A/N: A litte bittersweet to see the end of baby girl and sweetheart. But so happy to have finished this series, mark off something from my hundred celly and complete my first full week of posting something everyday for my pride month celly. Thank you so much @sylviebell for this ask and all the support you give me!

Today I’ve seen not one but a number of posts about Mobius’ possible death/sacrifice by the end of s2. (Here a great analysis of Mobius arc by @kiteblue42 part 1 and part 2)
And on one hand I kinda see it too. Like, explanations and analysis make sense, totally. Frighteningly so. I love Mobius and I want no one else in this role but Owen Wilson. He’s brilliant, funny and consistent. He’s also very handsome but it’s not my point
But on the other, when something slowly becomes obvious to a part of viewers, will it really happen?
I mean, for example, the time loop stuff is very on the nose. We don’t need any deep symbolism or details to pick that up. By 2023 everybody has seen a bunch (or at least a couple) of beautifully developed time travel stories with all sorts of outcomes and combinations, paradoxes and ways of t-travelling. Will a time loop happen? I guess so. it has to, otherwise it would be impossible to save Loki in s2e1. But since we already know a certain part of what happens, it would make sense to have a twist that no one (or only very few) could think about. Something that will make this particular time travel story memorable, and worth viewers’ anticipation and time.
Timely’s connection or becoming HWR has been also pointed out. This one is a bit less easy to see. But there are still plans for Kang’s dynasty phase, regardless of Majors being recast or not, and they will have to do an explanation, so the movies can be watched separately from the series and still make sense. What I mean is, they might postpone confirming/debunking this bit till later in the current mcu phase, so Timely might stay Timely till the end of s2.
Mobius’s death theme is even more subtle. Here you have to dig and ponder a bit. But his thinking about problems at hand and enjoying small things on the go kinda give the vibe of someone who lives fast. Or is it just me? He doesn’t wear protective gear (he did once during Roxxcart mission in s1e2) and is so vulnerable but evades danger. For how long? Will there be a heart breaking scene where Loki tries to save Sylvie and Mobius at the same time and has to make an impossible choice? Let me grab some cracker jacks 🍿
In s1e4 he is pruned but is actually alive in the void, in s2e1 he survives the Loom experience (purely by chance at that point), so viewers would (intuitively) think, he had fatal adventures, survived and now he’s invincible to all harm by the laws of cinema. But, when he put on that chunky suit and it had a crack in the visor, and all of it was made basically into a joke, I thought to myself, also jokingly, well, that’s it, Mobius has been marked by death but is temporarily healed with a piece of duct tape; now just wait till the duct tape falls off!

Ghost. - part 11: Air.
I suggest listening to Why'd only call me when you're high? and I wanna be yours both by Arctic Monkeys while reading this.
Part 1 here - part 12 here.
PAIRING: TVA!LokixOC
RATING: ALL
TAG LIST: @kats72 ; @mischief2sarawr
SUMMARY: Loki meets sombody at the TVA he once knew. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to remember him.
Mobius and Loki's mission in Chicago had been successful. Theoretically.
Renslayer and Miss Minutes had not yet been taken into custody, but they had returned with the less cocky and more useful Variant of He Who Remains to help prevent the collapse of the universe. And Sylvie. Again.
Lydia wanted to slap her. She couldn't stand her. She didn't like the way she looked at him, the way she stood near him, or even just the way she breathed his same air. Besides the fact that wherever she was, chaos ensued.
Like at that moment, in O.B.'s lab, as he tried to explain the (hypothetical and highly risky) plan to save the TVA, while Loki and Mobius competed over who shouldn't risk their lives for everyone.
"The problem is that there are much more radiation out there than there were before," O.B. explained.
"Well, then Loki will have to run a lot, right?" Mobius shrugged.
"What? Why me?"
"Well, because it's your turn."
"Says Who? Why?"
"Exactly, why him?" Lydia interjected.
"There, thanks. At least someone here doesn't want to see me roasted," Loki shot Mobius a dirty look.
"I believe it should be Sylvie," Lydia tilted her head, shifting her eyes to the other girl, "she created the problem, it seems fair to give her the chance to fix it."
"Only if you hold my hand along the way," Sylvie taunted.
Bitch.
"Also, the plan is only theoretical," O.B. continued, adjusting his glasses, "and we still need to finish the range multiplier, integrating the booster that Mr. Timely" – the latter smiled embarrassedly – "created."
"Very well, we'll leave you to work," Mobius clasped his hands in front of him before turning to the others, "let's go, kids, leave the adults to their spaces."
Lydia crossed her arms and followed the others out of O.B.'s office.
“I think we could use some cake, don't you think?" Mobius started walking towards the cafeteria.
"Cake?" Sylvie spat, turning towards Lydia and Mobius who closed the line.
"Yes..." Mobius furrowed a brow.
"Do you have any better ideas?" Lydia gave her a glance.
"What's wrong with you guys?" Sylvie raised her voice. "The world, no, the universe is collapsing and you want to eat cake while everything goes to hell?"
"And whose fault is that?" Lydia took a step towards her.
"Ah, so I'm the bad guy?" Sylvie mocked her. "It's not my fault if the fragile system you liked so much collapsed."
"Oh really? Because it wasn't me who assassinated the only being capable of making it work, this fragile system." Lydia made air quotes with her fingers.
"I gave freedom of choice, the same one that led you here," Sylvie indicated the ground.
"You created chaos, Sylvie." Lydia got closer to her. "Chaos so great that the universe can't handle it, and now everything is collapsing. And what for?" At that point but a few inches apart and Lydia didn't wait for an answer.
"For your personal vendetta." She spat in her face.
She got punched in the face by Sylvie so hard it made her head spin.
"You know nothing about me!" Sylvie screamed as Loki grabbed her by the shoulders, pulling her back.
"I know how to recognize a selfish whore when I see one" Lydia managed to say through the pain as Mobius dragged her in the opposite direction.
---
Lydia should've learned, by that point, that provoking a Loki wouldn't lead to anything good.
As she dabbed her cheek with a towel, she also started to think that there was some sort of fate's design. In the sacred timeline she had seen how Loki had reacted when she had provoked him, and now nothing particularly different had happened. In both cases, she was the one who came out worse.
"Free will my ass" she scoffed as she sat on a cabinet in the bathroom where Mobius had sent her to cool off.
The bathroom door creaked open, and Lydia looked up to see Loki. Probably the last person she wanted to see at that moment.
"Are you okay?"
Lydia lowered her gaze but didn't respond.
Loki closed the door behind him and approached her. Seeing that she didn't look up, he bent down trying to enter her line of sight, but she turned her gaze away.
Loki sighed and straightened up, taking the towel from her hand gently.
"I'm not your enemy, Lydia" he said as he delicately took the towel from her hand.
"You have nothing to do here, Loki. Go back to your variant" she snapped.
“So that’s your trigger, jelousy” Loki chuckled.
“Why should I be jelous?” Lydia faked nonchalance, he ignored her.
"When I met you here at the TVA, I would have never said you were such a jealous type," Loki approached one of the sinks to wet the cloth with cold water "but thinking back that you and the girl I knew on Midgard are the same person, I should've remembered that you have a hot head."
"If you've come here to give me a lecture, I don't need it, Mobius already did" she swung her legs on the cabinet.
"I'm not here for that, I'm here because, despite your terrible personality" he shook his head approaching her "seeing you in pain hurts me, a lot."
"Is that why you were with her, until now?" She had to bite her tongue, provoking him wouldn't have had a different outcome, but Lydia just couldn't help it. Fortunately, Loki had developed enough self-control for both of them.
"Lydia" he grabbed her face from the non-sore side so she was forced to look into his eyes, "every wound, every mark on your body, and every tear of yours is a punch in the gut for me."
Lydia's gaze softened, and she had nothing to retort. Perhaps because the absolute sweetness and sincerity with which he looked at her while saying those words had brought down the concrete wall she had quickly erected against him.
Seeing the cat retracting its claws, Loki brought the cloth to her face, and Lydia flinched slightly, but Loki's hand held her steady.
"Does it hurt a lot?"
"Not much."
"I could fix it, if you want."
"With a magic touch?" she smirked.
"If you want."
"No," she replied after a second of thought "I'd like to keep it, like a war trophy."
"Sylvie is not your enemy either, Lydia" Loki whispered, dabbing her face again.
"Why do you defend her?" Her voice was calm, though perhaps slightly hurt.
"I don’t," Loki lowered the cloth "I agree with you. Probably if she hadn't killed He Who Remains, we wouldn't be in this mess."
"It's not just a mess, Loki. It's a crisis, a desperate situation," Lydia let her concern show.
"And you're right," Loki took her hands, bringing them between his, "but that's exactly why we need all the help we can get, including hers."
Lydia lowered her eyes to their joined hands and let out a sigh.
"And what if we don't find a solution?"
"We will find it, I promise you."
"Don't make promises you can't keep, Loki," she looked back at him.
"I promise" he repeated "trust me."
Trust. Did she trust him? Did she believe he could prevent the end of times? She wasn't sure, but she knew he was damn stubborn and that the TVA was his home, as much as hers. Maybe she didn't believe he would succeed, but she believed he would try everything, and that was enough.
"Okay" she nodded.
"Okay."
---
And Loki? Did Loki trust her? He wasn't sure he had an answer yet, as much as he was attracted to her and cared about her; she made him feel calm, even more when she was the chaotic one, and understood.
But when Timely failed in his mission, dissolving into space spaghetti, Lydia's hand was the first thing Loki grabbed, and her eyes were the last thing Loki wanted to see before the frame collapsed and the radiation destroyed everything.
Terribly sorry for the late update, my new situationship/"short-term, short-distance, low-commitment casual friend" (comment if you get the reference) kept me up too late on saturday and I needed recover, rest and some paracetamol. ALSO I was thinking of writing an extra streamy, maybe smutty chapeter to be added to this one (like a 11.5 chapter), like a missed scene or stuff. Let me know if you're interested pleaseee Thanks again for all the support shown me up till now, again, if you wanna join the tag list, let me know! My pc is dying, byeeee

It's no surprise to Sylvie that the date is going well. The problem was never their lack of feelings for each other. She loves Matt -- she has for years. Probably always will.
The problem was everything that surrounded those feelings. His career, her career, the lack of actual time together. None of it ever matched up.
Maybe this is their second chance, but what if it isn't? What if he gets traded again? What happens to her if he has no choice but to leave? Sure, for the time being they're on the same page but, as she learned three years ago, that page can turn at any moment.
Still...
When he kisses her after walking her to the door, she doesn't pull away. Kissing Matt Casey is addictive. He knows exactly what she wants out of a kiss and he delivers. She pulls him inside as they continue to kiss. His mouth desperately chases hers every time she pulls away for even a fraction of a second. His hands push her cardigan off of her shoulders and then skim down her back until they stop to rest just under her ass.
She whimpers into his mouth and when he suddenly decides to lift, she jumps ever so slightly. Making it easier for him to pick her up is her natural response. His shoulders have always been sturdy and holding onto them makes her feel cared for and safe. She hasn't felt either of those things in far too long so, of course, she uses his lift as an excuse to cling to him. The bonus is that it lines their bodies up perfectly.
Matt, seemingly effortlessly, carries her into her bedroom. She hasn't moved apartments or redecorated since the last time he was here and clearly he remembers every square foot of her floorplan. He sets her onto the bed and follows after her, hovering over her with one hand next to her head to keep himself propped up. He must have sensed her earlier internal hesitation because he slows them down by pulling back and resting his brow against hers.
"Is this okay? Should we stop?"
It's more than okay, but yes they should probably stop.
"I mean, maybe," she says, pushing up until her back rests on her headboard. "I want you, Matt. I think I always will. But I don't want us to start something we can't finish."
His brow furrows curiously. "Who says we can't?"
"We couldn't last time," she reminds him. "You were traded. And then I lost you. You, my boyfriend, and you, my best friend. I can handle losing a boyfriend. I've done that before. But my best friend? That one hurt. A lot."
"You're not going to lose me," he declares with a bold sense of confidence she's never heard from him before. Not off the ice at least. "What we had, and hopefully will have again, was rare. I was there too, Sylvie. I remember it. I've never felt even a fraction of what I feel for you for anyone else. So when I left, I also lost the love of my life and my best friend. Same as you, and I am determined I won't lose you again. I refuse."
"You can't guarantee that."
He smirks at her, nodding vigorously. "Yes, I can."
"Matt." She hates to sound skeptical but he couldn't stop the trade last time so what's different now? "Be serious."
"I am serious. I haven't allowed any modifications to my no-trade or no-movement clauses this time around. That's the perk of having two Stanley Cups to my name. If this team ever wants to get rid of me, they're gonna have to buy me out of my contract. And they won't do that," he explains as he brushes a few stray strands of hair out other face. "I'm home to stay this time, Sylvie. My agent and my lawyer made sure of it."
“You…” Her sentence fades away. She has no idea where it was going anyway. Finally, after staring at him like a slack jawed idiot for far too long, she finds her words again. “You can’t be traded?”
“Well, technically it’s possible but I’d have to approve it, and if it takes me away from Chicago or you then that won’t be happening. It’s completely up to me.”
“Completely up to—you can do that?” She asks, Hope slowly flooding her system from head to toe.
“I couldn’t when I originally signed with them. I was too young and too new,” he clarifies. “That’s how they were able to trade me without my consent three years ago, but a lot about my career has changed this time around. I have more bargaining power and agency than ever before.”
Something about his statement is familiar to her. There’s a memory coming back to her of a FaceTime call not long after he moved, when he started putting in more practice and training time than ever before. At the time, all she could see was that he kept canceling on her, even after he tried to explain it. But now, she thinks she understands.
“That’s why you got so intense about your new team and training routine after you left? You were trying to be better so you’d have more leverage when your contract was up.” It all makes so much sense now. Yes, he could’ve shown more effort with her but in his mind all the work he was putting in was for them — to get him back home. Why hadn’t she seen that sooner?
He nods, a dark edge to his self deprecating grin. “If you’re just now realizing that then I must not have done a very good job of communicating that to you.”
“I..well, not to hurt your feelings but no. No, you didn’t do a very good job of communicating that to me.”
“I thought if I worked my ass off and became someone who wins championships then I’d be too valuable to be pushed around.” He pauses, rolling off of her and onto his side to rest his arms. “And I was right.”
“And I dumped you for it,” Sylvie says with a mortified blush. “Now, I feel like an idiot.”
“Don’t,” he assures her. “I should’ve just been clear about what I was trying to do from the beginning. I shouldn’t have left any room for you to fill in the blanks. That’s on me. Whether we’re friends or more than that, I’m not going to keep you in the dark anymore. I promise.”
“You're issuing a lot of guarantees and making a lot of promises tonight,” she teases.
She expects him to tease her back or make a self deprecating joke, but he doesn’t. Instead his face is entirely earnest when he replies, “That’s because I have every intention of keeping them.”
Damn it. He’s being very upfront about his commitment to making their relationship work and it’s getting to her. More and more of her worries melt away every time he speaks. She’s beginning to believe this really is their second chance and, more treacherous than that, she’s starting to hope they won’t need a third. She’s put off saying those three little words to him since he came back, unsure if she could risk her heart like that again,
But now those three little words jump out of her mouth before she even knows she’s speaking. “I love you,” she confesses on an airy exhale.
She stuns him and herself. She knows she still loves him  but she wasn’t going to admit it this early, at least not until he told her that everything he’s done since he moved was about getting back to Chicago first and foremost. That revelation was the one that bombarded the last remnants of her walls and smashed them to smithereens.
Caution is out the window. Now she just wants him.
“I love you too,” he says, rolling her under him so he’s propped up above her again. He leans down, pressing his forehead to hers. “I wasn’t sure I’d ever get to tell you that again.”
“I’m so glad you came back to me,” she tells him, framing his face with her hands and pulling his mouth down to hers for a searing kiss.
As they continue to kiss and hold on to each other, it hits her that the past few weeks haven’t been a dream or an illusion. He’s home and he’s not going anywhere. She hadn’t let herself believe it and now that it’s irrefutable the relief and joy hit her like a tidal wave. Happy tears fall down her cheeks while her arms fold around Matt’s neck and her legs wrap around his waist.
She wants to be as close to him as humanly possible, spiritually and physically. After years of forced separation, they need to make up for a lot of wasted time. What better way to do that than keeping Matt Casey to herself all night long?

Okay okay okay call me insane, but (SPOILER WARNING maybe - or definitely maybe)
Doesn't the entire "Spider Ppl society that protects the multiverse from anomalies and protects canon events" sound odly familiar?
Don't we have the exact same thing (minus all the members being variants of same person) somewhere else? Don't they protect the timeline from Nexus Events?
Listen, am I tripping or is the TVA rather similar to Spider Ppl society? Maybe Miguel doesn't reset or prune variants (well in the TVA sense, but whatever) , but the similarities are there.
And yeah, Spiderman across the Spiderverse isn't quite part of the MCU, but it's highly hinted that it shares the universe with the MCU (you know? That one Prowler and the "doctor Strange and nerdy kid" line).
All I'm saying is:
Both TVA and Spider People Society (and yeah I know I'm probably calling it wrong but idc) protect the course of action (story) at all costs
They both "eliminate" Nexus Events/Anomalies
Both are faced with someone who posses as a threat to the timeline/multiverse and the respective organisation (TVA - Sylvie and Loki; Spiders (I give up) - Miles and the "Miles protection squad")
Both have members that join the "rouge variants" ( gonna focus on two most obvious from each; TVA - Mobius and B-15 ; Spiders - Peter B and Gwen)
Even though the stories have their differences, both groups/organisations fear the tiniest changes in the multiverse under the pretext of it ending the timeline/universe (not sure how accurate is this theory, but I found one claiming that Peter B having Mayday was an anomaly and it didn't end his universe) (also when it comes to TVA the problem was actually centered around Kang, but that later)
Now I'm just pointing out similarities and plz don't hate me for that.
I think that this could also potentially be a connection between the Spiderverse movies and MCU. There's also one more similarity between Loki series and Spiderman into the Spiderverse.
In the first Spiderverse movies we learn that if a variant comes to a universe they are not supposed to in they glitch. This happens to Loki after the final of s1 doesn't it?
It's seems like while TVA is oriented around a single timeline Miguel's group (this migh be the best way of putting it) is more focused on the multiverse as a whole.
TVA hunts variants that do not follow their roles in the timeline (look at all the different Lokis) while Miguel and his group make sure canon events happen across the multiverse.
These are just my random thoughts after watching the Loki series and Spiderman across the Spiderverse - might delete later.
Plz don't hate
