I am writing this story for a small fandom (Ginny&Georgia) and it is not my most populair story but let me tell you, this might be one of my best writings and I am really proud of it and I really like writing my OC Hope. I think she is pretty layered 🤷 idk I just like her.

Also I like writing Hope’s daughter Maxy. She is only a toddler and she is deaf but I just loved the way this show portrayed CODA and I wanted to deepen that out a little.

On the one hand: YES. On the other hand: would Crowley mess with food? With Aziraphale’s favourite food? Because I can also see this being Crowley’s attempt to inspire the creation of something he thinks Aziraphale would like. Like, “man, it must be so annoying to have to eat all those little bits of sushi separately, and dip them in all the sauces, and use chopsticks, what if we just... uh huh, uh huh... and add some more flavour in there... lots of extra fillings... sauce... yeah, this is PERFECT”

And then Aziraphale’s just “thanks I hate it”

Do you think that banana/tomato concoction would be good over plain rice? What would you change to make it savory instead of sweet?

I think it could be for sure! It might be a little hard to eat, so I would probably try to dice up the banana and the tomato a little finer before sauteeing. 

It’s not actually all that sweet as is, it has a very savory flavor with a sweet finish. You could easily leave the sugar out if you wanted it even less sweet, and as many people have suggested, use plantain instead of banana (I didn’t because plantain takes way longer to cook), but I think you could also add more seasoning. But I think the sweetness is a nice part of the dish tbh, the layering of flavors is actually pretty complex.
