A. What was the first fandom you wrote for? - Harry Potter. 

K. Do you post WIPs or wait to post until the entire fic is written? - I have to wait for the whole fic to be written. There’s been times when I’ve been coerced into posting a WIP and every time I’ve been sad and mad about it. I’m someone who goes back and changes bits and pieces in earlier chapters because I have a shit memory and forget small, important details, and it shows lol.

O. Is there any fandom you’ve been into that you haven’t written fic for? Why not  - Probably the Marvel universe. I’ve read a few from there, but I just have never had the drive to write for it. Also Phandom, too. Read a fair few, no desire to write for it.

There is a book called Hind’s Feet On High Places that is a fictional allegory. Would love to see that done.

I don’t watch a lot of these. But I liked Lincoln. And Schindler’s List is a classic.

Are you staying home from work/school?

I am mostly working from home and doing virtual speech therapy with my families. I will be working at the hospital at least all day on fridays going forward though since it’s quickly being overwhelmed and some of my coworkers are much more high risk.

If you’re staying home, who’s there with you?

My husband Nick. He was laid off from his job so he’s doing some online school and also playing a lot of video games while i work in the guest room lol 

Are you a homebody?

Sometimes yes. I do like being at home and recharging with alone time. Forced home time is not quite the same though, I miss many people and many things like going to a restaurant or to the movies. 

What movies have you watched recently? What shows are you watching?

Honestly I don’t think I’ve watched a movie in weeks. I feel a little too stressed and distracted for that. We did end up watching Tiger King to see what all the fuss was about haha. I also started watching Letterkenny... I don’t want to watch anything serious.

An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled?

My honeymoon lol :( We were supposed to go to Ireland in mid-May with a stop over in Boston for a friend’s wedding but the likelihood of that happening is slim womp womp

What music are you listening to?

I haven’t really been listening to much honestly, even that seems like a task. I did make a lockdown playlist with some chill faves that’s been getting a little play

What are you reading?

I’m trying to finish a book that some coworkers were all gonna read for a mini book club called “Uniquely Human” by Barry Prizant that all about Autism. It’s interesting but I have to be in the right mood. While making that fic rec post I also ended up reading a few old fave fics and have some new ones waiting in my tabs.

What are you doing for self-care?

Haha I have not been good with this tbh, working in healthcare/healthcare adjacent has been very stressful the past few weeks. I have been going on daily walks and I signed up for Hemsworth’s workout app while its free - i did one of the workouts on my lunchbreak and it kicked my butt. And I did make a goal to start drinking more water too. We decluttered and sorted a giant pile of stuff from the guest room so my current workspace feels much more zen. I’ve also been burning candles a lot while wfh because that feels fun and indulgent!  Trying to do some writing for Sifki Month to calm my brain/focus on something fun.

Are you staying home from work/school?

Yep! I never had to change my routine one bit. i haven’t worked in 11 years (today is the anniversary of me being made redundant) so my routine is exactly the same. i just now wear a face mask when i go to the shops.

Are you a homebody?

Yes! I always have, and always will be. germaphobe central in my head =)

What movies have you watched recently? What shows are you watching?

i want to rewatch shrek. i rewatched some terrible movies that i’m not going to admit to tbh, but i haven’t actually watched that much. oooh! Birds of Prey! I watched that. LOVED it. So good the second time around, too.

An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled?

nah, ya bench doesn’t have any money to even leave the house let alone actually do things outside. but i feel for everyone who has had stuff cancelled, it sucks big time. 

What music are you listening to?

I’ve listened to the masterpiece that is Four by One Direction a few times. And Niall’s new album a couple of times. As well as Little Mix’s new song. 

What are you reading?

Not much. I’ve barely been able to concentrate so that sucks. I got half a fic read and 3 books read in March. Which is absolutely pathetic of me considering March was 10 years long.

What are you doing for self-care?

crying when i need to. taking sleeping tablets. and making other people happy and sharing positivity with them because they need it
