Guys.

I did it.

I came out as trans to my father today.

He said he wants me to be happy, and that's the most important thing for him. He was also a bit upset because I already told so many people and didn't tell him earlier. And he has to let it sink in (which is understandable). He was more concerned what my mum will think, because she might react negatively (he said she may think I'm only trans because my ex is also trans) but he said when I'm ready to come out to her, he will be with me and help.

I'm just. I'm so like. Still kinda in shock that I actually did it. I don't know. I'm also happy - a huge weight has been lifted off of me.

🏳️‍⚧️ Top Surgery Funding 🏳️‍⚧️

As most of you know at this point, things are getting scary for trans people in America recently. With that being said, I don't know how much longer I'll legally be allowed to get this surgery seeing as I live in a red state. It's not the reddest state ever, but it's still getting pretty bad. I would love to be able to get top surgery by this time next year. I do believe that to be possible with enough help.

I don't know the exact amount the surgery will cost as I have not yet had my consultation. Seeing as I don't have insurance and based on how much I've seen others spend, I think $10k is pretty close to what I'll likely be spending. I'll be sure to update when I do have an exact number.

Update: I don't qualify for my state government insurance and the job I'm in the process of starting doesn't have insurance, so this will be completely out of pocket, so this number is staying as is unless my eventual consultation tells me otherwise.

FTM top surgery

Hello tumblr community!

I was wondering if anyone would be sweet enough to even take a look at my gofundme for surgery costs for my FTM top surgery.

Even a small contribution will be greatly appreciated :) There is no pressure to do so, though. At all.

I shared my story on gofundme a little but I'll say a little bit here if you don't want to press ahy links :)

Surgery costs in uk are expensive and as an 18 year old paying bills and rent, i cannot afford this at all so I've had to let all parties know that my surgery cannot commence untill i get money saved.

My family was massively transphobic, which is why i had chosen to leave home, totally unprepared for the cost of living, i have had all the referalls but can't get surgery untill i get momey which is where you amazing people would be able to help, if you wanted to :)

(it has my dead name as it was on my id, please do not call me by that or the deadname nickname which is "chris", my name is Noah :))
