WHAT'S BEHIND THE WIDOW

piece made from a black 100% cotton t-shirt in a men's t-shirt mold, with the application of two teats made from three-dimensional acrylic paint on the front and a hand-painted canvas on the top. the piece also has details on the side of the right sleeve

history of the piece and method of preparation:

1. a 100% cotton t-shirt with a wide pattern or a men's t-shirt pattern was taken and cuts were made with scissors on the side of the right sleeve, in order to form braided strips

2. then painting was done with the piece of canvas during a workshop of textile experimentation. the painting was done entirely by hand with a fabric pen and acrylic paint

3. next, the part of the breasts was marked for the application of the teats

4. afterwards, the three-dimensional acrylic paint was taken to make the mold of the teats - break for drying

5. after drying, it was applied using hand sewing and specific glue

note: the piece took around 4 years to complete, between me receiving it and until I realized that it would be possible to work with in order to reinvent it. I used it for at least 4 years until I rebuilt it

piece made from a 100% cotton basic black t-shirt in which I experimented with metallic 3D acrylic paint and a piece of canvas that I had painted and illustrated during a textile creation and experimentation workshop

the piece of canvas was sewn by hand as well as the application was done by hand and the torn details on the side of the right sleeve
