Thanks to @theeconomist for handing out some free samples of @beyondmeat plant-based burgers. I've been wanting to try them for a while and I'm glad I did. Because now I don't need to try it again. Most days my diet is pretty close to veggie, anyway, for my own economic reasons. I enjoy the flavor and texture of actual vegetables. Of course I find I'm rather critical of meat substitutes as I don't need them. Perhaps it's a good replacement for you if you won't/can't eat meat. I, personally, experienced a very unpleasant aftertaste that kicked in pretty quickly, which drove me to eat more food so I could put something else in my mouth.
